I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the recent AC service we booked through your company. The technician who visited our premises seemed to have mishandled the situation, resulting in further complications with our AC unit.
On 15th May, 2023 we contacted Urban company to book an AC service as we were experiencing issues with cooling. The technician arrived promptly and diagnosed the problem as a faulty board. He proceeded to remove and reinstall the board, assuring us that the issue was resolved and charged an amount of 4400 rupees from us. However, to our dismay, the problem still persisted after. In light of this, we promptly contacted Urban company again to inform them about the ongoing issue. As a response, another technician was sent to assess the situation. To our surprise, this technician explained that our AC model is designed to display an error message when there is a problem with the board. Since we did not receive any error message, he concluded that the previous technician had deceived us. Furthermore, upon inspection, it was discovered that not only was the board removed unnecessarily, but the earth wire was also cut. As per our knowledge, these two components were not required to be tampered with during the service. Unfortunately, as a consequence of the previous technician's actions, our AC unit is now in a non-working condition. We are deeply disappointed by this turn of events and expect prompt resolution from your company. It is essential that you take immediate action to rectify the damage caused to our AC unit. Despite our repeated complaints to customer support, the problem remains unresolved, and our AC unit has been further damaged due to the actions of your technician. Additionally, we recently had a conversation with the technician who visited our premises initially. He confessed his mistake and admitted that he had removed the board and cut the earth wire unnecessarily. He expressed his willingness to refund the amount charged for the service. While we appreciate his honesty, it does not absolve your company of the responsibility to rectify the damage caused to our AC unit and provide a suitable resolution to this issue.We kindly request that you address this matter urgently and provide a suitable resolution within reasonable time frame, to avoid further escalation of this issue. I trust that you will take this matter seriously and provide us with the necessary support and compensation. We value your commitment to customer satisfaction and hope to see it reflected in your prompt actions.

    Today I booked after payment full amount for 5 ACs for servicing today (19th May 2023) at 10.30 AM.

    I did not receive any phone call nor any whatsapp message or email confirming if the work will be carried out today or not on schedueled time.

    AT 11 AM your person one Mr. Nihal reached the house. When asked why no advance telephone call was given informing that he would arrive late, he said that he sent the message in URBAN CO APP that I did not download. When asked why he could not phone me, he did not answer. He then showed his character that he would not do the work and left. I duly obliged him.

    How do you think you will redress this problem.

    Strangely, I found no conact no visiting your portal. If you work only through your app you ought to have cautioned me while booking for the service and collecting the money from me? Of late I find that your approach to service your customer is lacadaisical.

    I have developed a NEGATIVE FEELING about you, your approach and quality of service.

    Urban Company Technician has danmaged my refrigerator he has not confirmed the specs of refrigerator and added an additional coil which has damaged my refrigerator, After 4 times the complaint the same technician tried but unable to resolve, after several followups another Technician came and verified and stated that the earlier technician has damaged the refrigerator and there is no solution. UC Team asked me to do the repair from the manufacturer Samsung i tried that option but the Samsung Technician also told the same that the Refrigerator cannot be repaired as they UC Technician has damaged the Refrigerator.
    Further to this UC representative called me and offered me to give 4.5k as a refund which is actually value for the warranty cost i have paid to UC. I did not accept then they told that they cna support for 10k as a repair cost but i told them it is not repairable confirmed by both UC and Samsung Technician. Then they had a senior representative saying we will give 10k and share the account via link they send to me i some how accepted it as i was told thats the only thing they can offer me lastly and its the Terms and condition. Now again they have started negotiation and arguing that we can give you only 4.5k. This is an unethical with no value system in the UC organisation, who plays with feelings of customer, Damage my 45k refrigerator and harassed me for quite a month now. This is the pain and i am going to take Legal actions going to CONSUMER court and also spread this in Media. UC has really no values its disgusting response.

      I have booked for AC Installation & Unstallation along with Service on 26th April 2023. I have paid an amount of Rs.2188/- along with Membership fee of Rs.299/-.

      One of your Professional (as per your company terminology, who is really Unprofessional), along with Helper visited the site and without even asking for the OTP he Uninstalled the AC and after shifting the same to my New house informed me that the Service which I have booked is of Basic Service and the AC is in need of Advanced Service which will cost Rs.2400/- which I have to pay by Cash.

      After checking the Urban Company app as I couldn’t trace any service which costs Rs.2400/- I informed to the person that he can do the Service which is booked and I don’t need any advanced service.

      But the person was insisting on the same which I refused after which the person denied to do the Installation and also the Service. He also demanded the amount of Rs.650/- which is towards the Uninstallation.

      I said I have already paid the amount of 2188/- to Urban Company and why should I pay again. The person started to use bad words and Hit his helmet against my newly laid Tiles in the Car Parking.

      After requesting him to leave also he didn’t leave my premises and started to behave rudely and was shouting and threatened me that he will thrash me and Kill me. Hearing this I have pressed the SOS link of your Company app thinking that your company officials may visit immediately to sort out the issue safely. But to my disappointment there was only continuous phone calls from your company for which we answered and informed the emergency situation.

      Then I had no choice other than to pay the amount of Rs.650/- to him and cancel the booking since he threatened me that he will kill me if I don’t do so. Further he started to demand additional money for his helmet which he broke. At this point of time I understood there will not be any immediate action taken by your company, I called the Police to my Location.

      Until the Police arrived, the person was continuously shouting and using bad words at me and my mother.

      Once Police arrived, we explained the matter and we were taken to the station. After serious warning and written letter from the person, the police sent us back.

      I have raised several complaints to your Call centre for which your Team is only focusing on closing the complaints and not to provide proper resolution to the customer. They also say that this is the final resolution we can provide.

      Also the professional had tampered with the AC during Uninstallation which I had to spend money for repair and then install.

      Few points which are been raised by me are the following:

      1. Why is that there was no professional background check done by your company while empanelling the professional.
      2. What are the checks you normally do at your end during empanelling to avoid such Unprofessional visiting the Customer place who even threaten to kill the customer.
      3. What is the use of your SOS link. Is it really supportive/ helpful to the Customer who are in real need during Emergency.
      4. Why no Officials from your company have visited us after such an incident to enquire about the same.
      5. When I have said that your professional have tampered with the AC they say I have cancelled the booking, so no resolution can be provided.
      6. Doesn’t all these actions by your professional and your company amount to Deficiency in Service.
      7. There is no Customer Care number which we can connect during Emergency and it is only one way that you can only call us.

      Even though you have refunded the amount paid, it is not the money, but the amount o[censored]nprofessionalism involved in your procedures and actions.

        I get the painting service done on Wednesday 3rd may’23, UC took 65% booking amount and rest 35% on the day before starting the service.
        The painter came with a helper and they both so unprofessionally did the work at my mothers house. When pointed painter about the final quote application which painter denied and said the wall is wet. It will dry out and then later it will be done. On several follow up with painter and I visited to my mother place to check the condition of work I escalated it to UC on Saturday evening 6th may’23.
        UC took 3-4 days to arrange SME visit. I shared the pictures of incomplete work.
        SME came and took pictures.
        Then painter called and said will come on 15th may to complete it and didn’t come. When I called him several times he disconnected and didn’t answer my call.
        When my husband called home from different number he picked and started showing tantrums and said it’s only touch up work, he will do when he can. He totally denied the fact that we paid him already for the full service. UC have no Customer service numbers and it took great efforts every time to speak to them.This time I asked UC to arrange differnt painter and get the work done completely. But I didn’t hear back from them.
        I paid approx 13600 to paint 1 room. And my work is still incomplete. Now I am frustrated and will get the final finishing done from outside but before this I need the refund from UC. They in incapable of handling escalation and providing quick solutions this service was under warranty as well. Still now it’s 10 days up and my walls are still the same. It’s humiliating that I have been questioned by my own family members for what I got done.
        It’s frustrating.

          Termite control service - Under warranty

          We did a whole termite control in our home in the month of March and the service men told that it would also cover cockroaches and other insects from being entering the house for the next 1 year. After a month after the service we could see lots of cockroaches and in fact big ones on our rest rooms and service area. When I try to claim the warranty as it is still under warranty I could not do so from my UC App. When I try to reach them there...

          Most third class services o[censored]rban company

          12 year old Air Conditioner working perfectly, but when change room by urban company, within a year complete gas was leaked, such is working o[censored]rban company nd nobody is hearing the matter.

          So kindly all of customers stay away from urban company.

          And also paid charges Rs 3700 something
          When nearby vendor ready to do it for Rs1000.
          So never use services of this urban company.

            This is for your information, that I Colonel Sanjeev Shenoy has booked the services o[censored]rban Company for undertaking of Internal painting of my flatT w.e.f. 03 May 2023. Urban Company has taken complete payment in advance for undertaking the job. Till date only one room has been addressed to work on and that to by totally unskilled, unprofessional and very poor and substandard workmanship. They are not in possession of even basic equipment. The supervisor is totally unprofessional and does not take his responsibilities for getting the job done. There is NO helpline
            and complaints have to lodged on a very unresponsive application. The invoice for my work clearly states the Dulux Paint will be used but on ground they are using Asian Paints, which is cheaper than Dulux Paints. The work was to be completed in Sixteen Days time. I have invested my hard earned money and portion of my life savings to get this work done. KINDLY HELP ON PRIORITY

              Hi, I took service with urban company on 29th March 2023 for my a/c repair, the technician said it would take gas filling and indoor coil change, the total would be around 9000₹, meanwhile on 9th May 2023 my air conditioner stops working and shows an error "CH 38" which means gas is low, I emailed them, but got a computer-generated response saying to chat on their app, which does not have a customer support option. In light of the fact that my AC is only 3 years old and that I'm a student, I can't afford this loss, so I would really appreciate any action you can take to help me. Thank you

                This is for your information that I am RETIRED COLONEL SANJEEV SHENOY and have booked URBAN COMPANY services for undertaking internal painting of my flat w.e.f. 03 May 2023. They have been paid IN Full and in Advance for undertaking the said job. TILL DATE ONLY ONE ROOM HAS BEEN ADDRESSED AND THAT TOO IN A TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL MANNR. THE WORKMANSHIP IS ABSOLUTELY UNSKILLED AND UNPROFESSIONAL. THEY DO NOT POSSES EVEN BASIC EQUIPMENT. THE SUPERVISOR TOO IS UNSKILLED. THE HELPLINE DOES NOT RESPOND TO ANY COMPLAINTS. THE INVOICE SAYS DULUX PAINT IS BEING USED BUT ON GROUND THEY ARE USING ASIAN PAINT, WHICH IS CHEAPER THAN DULUX PAINT. THE WORK WAS TO HAVE BEEN COMPLETED IN 16 DAYS TIME.                     This is Archana. I would like to let you know that I had booked Warm Stress Relief Swedish Massage on 31st Dec 2022 at 09:30 am. However this order got confirmed and I had made payment of Rs 1368/-.

                    But then I got a call from your company that no one is available and the order was cancelled from your side. But till yet I have not got the refund. No doubt your company is providing good services but this is very unprofessional that you had confirmed my order and then cancelled it. Not expected this from your side. I was even forgot about the refund but when I was about to book a massage for today then only I remembered that I had not got my refund.

                      I had just booked deep cleaning for 4 ACs. The company technician took charges for 4 ac gas refill plus condenser coil repair which was neither done nor necessary.

                            I have requested for a Laptop Service on 10.03.2023.
                            Date of Incident: 10.03.2023

                            Full Description of the Incident: Technician named Sikander was assigned for the Services. Technician visited my place and opened the laptop and quoted higher Cost Estimation. I have also asked the charged for the Transfer of data from the Hard Disk to some other Laptop, for which he quoted around INR 1500-INR 2000 charges.
                            I have decided to not to continue and asked the Technician to re-fit the Laptop.
                            Now 3 days back when i took the Laptop to some other Technician for data Transfer, to my utter surprise, i have been informed that Hard Drive is missing in the Laptop.
                            I chasing this with Urban Company Executives (Shubham Biswas, Barisha Muzayyan and Rakhi Kumari) but didn't get any responsible approach. The behavior of Rakhi Kumari is vey unprofessional and rude, which is not at all acceptable to doesn't give me any motivation to continue to avail the Services from Urban Company.
                            The Data is very much important for me and i request for the strict action against the Urban Company and its above quoted officials.

                              We have been duped by one of your AC repair men.
                              This request was made for getting new AC flaps.
                              The guy took our AC flaps, told us he needs the same to buy the new ones.

                              Now he hasn't returned our flaps, neither he is picking our calls.
                              It's been a month

                              The guys who came were...

                              They asked us to cancel the appointment after taking the flaps. He said new request will be created once he gets the new flaps.

                                  I had got 3 AC's serviced. Couple of hours later, the indoor unit fell on Parent's head while they were sleeping. It was a nightmare, they are still in shock, mental trauma.

                                    Urban Company I had worst experience with them in taking AC service, their professional has broken my 2 AC and took 8000 rs and now I am complaining and asking for refund, , they are saying that professional is saying our AC was broken already before they serviced so they cannot refund money. This really shows about Urban company that they don't believe in customer who spent money and bear loss and I my loss is of 48k as I have to purchase new AC because of them...I really want to tell people think before taking any service from urban company. They are very very unprofessional when something wrong happens from their side. I want to register my complaint and claim my refund of 48 thousand which is my loss.
