Urban Company I had worst experience with them in taking AC service, their professional has broken my 2 AC and took 8000 rs and now I am complaining and asking for refund, , they are saying that professional is saying our AC was broken already before they serviced so they cannot refund money. This really shows about Urban company that they don't believe in customer who spent money and bear loss and I my loss is of 48k as I have to purchase new AC because of them...I really want to tell people think before taking any service from urban company. They are very very unprofessional when something wrong happens from their side. Worst experience. I want to register my complaint and claim my loss of 48 thousand.

    - 09th March'23 - A/C service was scheduled
    The technician (Naseem) visited and informed about Gas Leakage in my window A/c.
    I gave my consent for A/c repair and gas filling.
    The technician charged for cooling coil repair 500 + Service 499 + Pin Valve 50 + Gas Filling 2500 at the end of the day, after completion of this job. (Apart from this he had repaired another A/c (split ac), currently I am discussion about window a/c only )

    - After 9th March till 20th March'23, weather changed and feels like winter again, the A'/c was off for 20 days.
    - A/c utilization started from 31st March
    - 20th April, I found A/c stopped colling and there was ice freezing on cooling coil.
    - I called the same technician (Naseem), he said he will visit tomorrow (21Apr'21), i suffered the whole night without A/c.
    Next day on 21Apr'21 Naseem did not visit and not pick the call again.
    - I connected with Urban company help center, they said they can't do anything because the service warranty was for 30 days only, and the warranty period lapsed.
    - I explained that the A/c was not used due to weather conditions, but they said they can't do anything now.

    How it is justified that just in 10-15 days after warranty time, the product stopped working.
    - Don't the urban company want to know that what is the actual fault,
    - Do the material used for repair was of low quality or good.
    - Do the leakage is from same hole which was repaired by technician or from anywhere else.
    - Can't they arrange a re-visit for fault checking.
    - Generally, all the companies are giving warranty for 3~6 months.
    On what basis the urban company fixed thirty days warranty in their policy.
    Don't they have confidence of 3 months durability of their work.
    What is the criteria of fixing these 30 days.

        I had called urban Company for washing machine repair. The only issue was water not draining out. The technician checked and said the drain pipe has to be replaced and PCB has to be repaired. He removed the panel for repairing the PCB. I asked him if there was any other issue and he told me to not worry as the machine was perfect otherwise. He also said that Siemens machines are the most silent machines. I paid Rs.4428/- including labour charges. When he got the part back it was badly scratched for which UC compensated with 1000 UC credits. The service technician did not wait for the full cycle and said it’s working fine now. I had a prior commitment and when I got back I started the washing machine when it started making a weird noise. They sent another technician who now tells me that the drum assembly needs to be replaced which will cost me Rs.8500/- This problem arose after the first service guy replaced and serviced the said parts. If there was a drum issue why did he not say earlier when he came to check. Instead he told me the machine was absolutely fine.
        When I called UC they are not ready to understand and the representative is telling me that the only thing he can say is I have to pay for it. They are asking for time to look into it when I insisted but I’m very certain they will go beyond the warranty period and then say sorry we can’t do anything. All I am saying is that the machine was in excellent condition and was damaged during service and why should I have to pay for something which is not my fault.

          Nighmare with urban company : cheated
          in public interest i may inform all never ever take services o[censored]rban company. They are cheated their customers and taking no pains of their customer’s issues, complaints and query. Recently i have opted their service for aircnditioner service (gas filling job). First their technician filled gas in my ac, got leaked, reasign again by urban company, in his second visit he damaged my airconditioner and spoiled it totally. He broke condensor, tear and tore cooling coil cable. Before it came to my notice that my ac got damaged, urban company initiated refund of rs. 3000.00 against gas filling charges without any delay, thus it shows very clearly that they know what their technician did with my ac. When i register complaint for the damages rs. 10000.00, they refused it to honour, neither they are interested to hear anything from customer nor they take any responsibility of their technician. In their mobile application what they did and do is assign a new executive every half an hour and every time every person just asked “may i help you”, nothing else.

            Urban company took upfront charges and now not fulfilling the service. Everyday they ask me to re-schedule the service. There is no support what soever. No way to reach their support. On Twitter i tried to reach them, it looks like they only entertain the positive comments about the service. No response to my tweets. If i cancel the service because you are not able to fulfill then still i will be charged for the same. Why don't they pay the compensation for not providing the service and refund. This is PURE BROAD DAYLIGHT FRAUD.

              Booked for Pest control today Apr 17th 11 am.
              It is highly annoying to get a last minute cancelled booking update when you are waiting at home only for this service. There is no customer care number also to reach which is so terrifying that such a big company has no customer care service, highly disgusting.
              Also automatically company is rescheduling it to any rubbish timings without even discussing with customer, then why do you take our contact information if there is going to be 0 professionalism and 0 communication from the company side?

                I was assigned a professional for 8-10am this morning and I got a call at 8.45 that this is not possible and to choose alternative slot. That is not available till Wednesday.

                This is vey upsetting. Why do you take payments before servicing then! I do not think I can trust Uraban Company any more

                  My parents had booked an AC servicing for April 14, however, the technicians totally damaged the air conditioner unit and as a solution took the unit with them to have it repaired. They brought it back and were almost demanding to be paid for the repairs. Worst part is that the AC still remains broken and dysfunctional.
                  My parents are retired and seniors, with technology-related challenges.
                  Why would urban company not have a toll free number? It is not senior user friendly at all. The most disappointing and annoying experience ever!

                      I have got my AC service done by Urban Clap on Feb 27, 2023. They have sent a inexperience technical guy who didn't even cleaned the outdoor machine. From that time I was facing the cooling issues with AC. Later they have asked me to book again for the AC repair. The other technical guy did the entire cleaning of outdoor. Now it is working fine. But,

                      1. The AC deep clean service includes Outdoor machine cleaning as well, then why the first technician ignored it?

                      2. Because of the first point I had to face issues in midnight's in the summer time.

                      3. I have been asked for a call back and the response from the team is pathetic, they are not at all interested to listen to the customers issues.

                      Hence, people should think before booking the AC service from Urban Company.

                            No delight !!

                            It was a pathetic, ridiculous and horrible experience !!!
                            firstly, the technician arrived 25 minutes late !! along with 2 others !!

                            All were novices wearing t shirts with " expert" written on them !!!

                            They somehow did the servicing in 3.5 hours instead of normal time of 45 minutes !! pathetic !!!

                            On the top of it the spares displayed notoriously on uc site are not available at all !!
                            so ridiculous !!
                            My window ac swing motor was to be replaced, but it, not available with uc !! nonsense !!

                            Above all the team leader buta singh ([protected])( has no manners to talk !!! so i scolded him to just " shut up "

                            On my insisting, he took the swing motor with "the promise " that he will replace ot on 12/04/2023 !!!

                            But there is no sign of him !!! he has betrayed !!

                              Charged fraudulently for parts replacement

                              I awailed their service as my laptop screen was not working. They took my laptop for 2 days and replaced a part that cost 5000. After the fix also, my laptop is in the same condition.
                              The customer care said they won't refund the money and the issue is with the motherboard now. They are lying about the fix given....

                              I logged into my Urban Company account and paid for AC servicing for Split AC. After I logged out. I didn't get any sms or email confirmation. I logged in my account again to check for confirmation it doesn't show any booking details or payments details. There is no way to get in touch with any customer service person. And there is no proper resolution to the email sent. Kindly refund my money. Thankfully I took a screen shot.

                                I booked deep cleaning AC service from URBAN COMPANY and the professional came on 1st April and he didn't check the AC not even gas check which is included in the package. He just came and cleaned the AC with foam spray and water jet. After the service was done, I'm facing water leakage issue from AC, I did request for a revisit on 10th April and there was no professional assigned and the professional visited next day that is today on 11 April and after he checked the AC gas, he said the gas has been reduced and the AC was not cleaned properly. Now the URBAN COMPANY is offering 200/- for this gas refill and asking me to pay 2749 for gas refill. I want to file a complaint regarding URBAN COMPANY because in the warranty claim they mentioned it can be claimed within 30 days and Amount upto 10, 000 will be taken care of if there is any damage happened after the service.

                                  While installing and servicing the split AC by Urban company we noticed to he flap of the AC was not evenly closed from one end.We raised the issue with the professional, he tried to fix the same by twisting flap and lock of the flap so that it can be adjusted.After trying for 20 min he wasn't able to fix it so he placed all blame on us saying the same was earlier like this only.we also raised the issue with the Urban company but senior professional were also not able to fix it.They cant fix it because the professional somehow has damaged the particular part while installation or servicing.My problem is if the flap is not closed properly the dust will enter the AC more often even if it's not in use.This will decrease the life span of AC.Urban company is unable to provide any solution as they are saying it was not professionals fault.Please help with the same.

                                      Uninstallation and Installation of ac

                                      The team sent from urban company to install the ac have damaged my ac to say the least. They have done a shoddy job of the earthing and sleeve, leaked the gas and have also bent my pipes. Urban company claims to give no warranty on the job for some reason, saying that because I have moved the ac to the new location they won't cater to the problem....
