I booked carpenter service on urbanclap on 28-apr-19 and was assigned ranjaya sharma, who visited my home on the same day.
He inspected the tv cabinet (For glass door replacement) and said it will cost rs 1800/- to put a new glass. I felt its too high a charge and asked him to reduce. After lot of discussion he agreed for rs 1600/- which itself was high, since i had earlier replaced it for rs. 600/-. He asked for rs. 1000/- advance...

We had booked a service for refrigerator handle repair on 29th december, 2018 through urban clap / service provider (Mr. Ravindra kumar) - booking confirmation attached. Post visiting our residence, he took the door handles and promised to have the same replaced within a weeks time.

I wanted beauty services at my home. Selected the services and proceeded for payment. The amount got deducted from my account but they say the payment failed. I’ve attached the screenshot of the debited amount as well. This was the first time i had planned to use it and this was the feedback. I engaged urbanclap for house painting work. Exterior area 427 sq ft; interior area 86 sq ft; putty base to be applied over 131 sq ft. Areas are as per urbanclap in their quotation. See quotation below. For the topcoat, the quotation states: "type of paint:-ultima protek (Exterior) *type of paint for interior:-tractor emulsion."

Hi this is kyser i booked service from urban clap for my air cooler as i had issues with water pump, as soon as technician came home he said sir pump is fine u have issues with motor... He was with another guy and they both started checking my cooler and said problem is with motor we have 2 options either u can rewire it or get new motor... I said see what needs to be done... As i left for atm to get cash he called me said it started working...

We booked for the service on 6/7/2018 (Thursday) at 12noon for 2 bathrooms. He cleaned one bathroom half and reported that he will be coming the next day. He is not reachable and after repeated attempts we waited till sunday and complained to customer and booked another service the following day monday. He came, and said that deep cleaning cant be done, we cant make it clean.

Dear urbanclap, i had placed a request for my very old laptop. Mr happy singh was assigned the task. The issue was with my motherboard of my ibm laptop. He said it can be repaired and gave me an estimate of 6000 rs.

He delivered the laptop back, however to my utter surprise the 2 gb ddr2 ram was replaced with 512 mb ram, one fourth to the previous capacity.

Upon being asked about it, he told me the ram got changed...

A to z laptop repair, mira road is totally unprofession in his work.
He is not receiving calls
He is not provided services on time, neither he informs about the same.
Not giving fix time for completion of services, he just asking for more and more time, he never fulfills his commitment.
He just damage our full laptop after taking money for part replacement & servicing of laptop... But instead of repairing laptop...

I got my ac repaired through urban clap a few days ago. There was some leakage from the condenser coils of the ac and i was told that new copper coils would have to be put. After the repair was done urban clap gave me nothing but a payment summary that i had paid 7400 rupees to the repair guy. When i asked for a receipt they refused to give me any receipt saying that we don't give receipts. I don't understand when i am availing a service...

Had used the laptop repair service provided by urbanclap. I had myself formatted my laptop and was looking for a technician who can help me install the drivers for my formatted laptop, so i opted for urbanclap. They assigned the job to a particular company and the onsite engineered arrived, he did hit n trail for 3 days then took my laptop to the service center and they somehow arrived at the conclusion that my hard disk was corrupt. Main urcbanclap partner app se apna work start karna chahta tha.. Maine apni id proofs urbanclap partner ki app par upload bhi kr diye. Pr approval ki call mere pass 2 weeks k baad aayi. Or unhone mujhse kaha ki security fees 10, 000 hai or 500/- rupey ka recharge hai or 300 rupey ki tshirt hai.. Or jab maine pucha ki jo ap 10, 000/- rupey ki security ki maang rhe ho to kya ap mujhe written mein doge...?? To unhone...

I had registered my business as wedding service provider with the urban clap partner and paid 1000rs for a premium account, but later came to know Section I was looking for urban clap does not provide it. as discussed with the executive of wedding section urban clap, they agree to return my refund but later till date did not get anything from their end even after following up and regular mail.

I am writing to bring to your immediate attention a serious issue regarding a service I booked through Urban Company. On December 2, 2024, I scheduled a geyser installation at my rented apartment, which was carried out by your technician, Mr. Kumar Rakesh Ranjan.
However, on May 8, 2025, the installed geyser suddenly fell, causing significant damage to the bathroom tiles and the commode. Thankfully, no one was in the bathroom at the time of the incident. I live with my 7-year-old child and elderly parents, both over 70 years old, and the consequences could have been severe.
Assuming the installation was done professionally, I contacted Crompton (the manufacturer) for inspection. Their technician visited and informed us that the original steel washers provided for proper mounting had been replaced with plastic washers—typically used for fastening wash basins—by the Urban Company technician. This improper substitution compromised the safety of the installation and directly led to the fall.
I have raised this issue with Urban Company’s customer support multiple times, but I have only received generic apologies without any concrete resolution or accountability. This incident could have resulted in a serious accident, and I believe such negligence should not be taken lightly.
I respectfully request your urgent intervention in this matter to ensure that the issue is thoroughly investigated and an appropriate resolution is provided, including compensation for the damages and assurances to prevent such risks in the future.

I booked toilet cleaning services at urban company. They damaged and broke my toilet seat. They initiated and processed a refund for 39000 but refund amount was reduced to 13000 which is very less compared to damage.they changed the service to ceiling fan cleaning which I had not ever booked.
