I purchased two water filters from urban company on 29-sep-2022. I was promised 1 year of free service which includes free replacement of water filters. When I checked the app now to avail the service as the water taste is very bad, I don’t see an option to book service for the water filters I purchased. All the details regarding purchase of water filters is removed from the app so there is no option to avail any service on the water filters purchased from urban company.

I have all the receipts, warranty cards and other details which clearly mention that the service is provided free of cost for 1 year. I would like urban company to look into this issue and replace the water filter. Please respond asap as I am not able to drink the water from past 2 day from water filter.

    Kindly refund my amount... on 10 march i booked foe hair spa through urban clap but due to some reason i didn't availed your services. So kindly refund my money it's 2 weeks already gone.. how much time you will take to refund my money!!!

      I wanted to ensure that you are absolutely clear about the actual incident. I need to formalise this & also provide my review to any new people who may think of this service.
      1) Booking was done for 24th Feb for
      removing hard water scaling from 3 geysers.
      2) The person did the job & asked us to check, no issues were identified. There was one bathroom we missed checking and was found that this geyser was not working. We noticed this on day 2 as common bathroom geyser is generally used to give my pets bath.
      3) The geyser that burst eventually was operational but the water was boiling hot each time we used it. After use of the same geyser the leak of water starts. Hence, this was not identified when the technician asked to check after completion of the job.
      4) On March 3rd I placed a request for revisit. The technician Raghu didn’t turn up. When I called him the next day, he said he was at his native and would come by 4th noon for checking the issue. He didn’t turn up, on 5th we had to travel to our home town & hence did not initiate any re check up.
      5) we returned after a week & had booked for a check up of common bathroom geyser by electrician sagar. He confirmed that the issue was damage of coil & thermostat which got replaced. Meanwhile we placed 2 requests for plumber visit to fix the leak of the geyser in the master bedroom. Nothing worked, geyser worked with water overheating, leak didn’t stop.
      6) on 16th March the geyser with leak burst while using it for bath. We then purchased a new geyser & got it fixed by a near by store electrician & plumber. As per him the following was the issue:
      - The technician Raghu apparently damaged the coil of the geyser resulting in damage of thermostat. This resulted in over heating of water while switched on.
      - The technician could have been aware of the damaged coil but chose not to disclose. Damaged equipment when used resulted in the catastrophic incident of geyser burst.
      7) The third geyser which never reported any issue had water overheat while using it. No other apparent issues. Hence we got the local electrician to check this geyser too.
      It has been identified that the thermostat is not functioning & hence resulting in water being over heated while using it.

      As per the local electrician & the apartment electrician, the issue was caused by damage made by Raghu (UC technician) on all geysers. Resulting us in having to waste time & money fixing the issue & also deal with a catastrophic incident of geyser burst. When spoken to your so called customer support agent, she pushed it aside saying it was the customer’s mistake not checking the geyser after the initial service. If you use your common sense you can make out from the email that the issue did
      Not show up soon after the service on 2nd March, except for one bathroom which we didn’t check.

      Before I write this review in a public forum talking about the due diligence you go to recruit technicians with the right skill set, I want to know how do ensure safety of your customers. What would be your action in case there was a fire at my home due to the geyser burst. I don’t want anyone else to go through a trauma that we went through & hence definitely put this feedback to the wider consumers to be cautious about your service offerings.

      To add, all my geysers have not completed even 5 years. We purchased it from Havells last week of April 2018. Per the company, a geyser can last upto 10-12 years.. You owe me the full warranty of all 3 geysers for damaging it & also causing me mental trauma.

        Invoice and Warranty not Provided.

        Hi Team,

        I have raised washing machine repairing on 4th March 2023 through online payment 358/- Rs and Engineer visited on 6th March and confirmed replaced parts body cover and shocker with estimate 5500/- Rs.

        I go ahead with estimate. He request paid some money for estimate preparation and I had paid 1000/- Rs through online. I am multiple time follow-up but he updated parts not received form urban company....

            We hired a professional accounts teacher as home tutor whom the whole amount was paid in advance. Out of the 18 classes that was promised only 6 has been taken. No response from neither the faculty nor the company itself despite a complaint being registered at their own app.

Also i would like to add that despite numerous number of calls from different number there has been no response from the faculty. It's been almost a month but still the company hasn't responded to the complaint filed in their own app.

              Hi,

              I have booked a service of AC gasfilling & repair and total cost in the app show as 2800(aprox) which i paid i advance and opted the service as well. now in the app it is showing me to pay again 249. When i checked with them they were telling that any order above 2000 by default warranty of 249 rs is added. First thing this was not informed to the customer in advance and secondly warranty is needed or not will be decided by customer not by any one.

              As per them if i opt any service it will be in warranty for 1 month by default but not they were saying if i didn't give 249 then 1 month warranty also will not be provided.

              I feel cheated by taking service from them.

              In the app they are comparing the service and showing the benefit of taking service from app by mentioning amount as 2800 only. In that comparison also they have not mentioned any where about 250.

                Urban company-Inappropriate deal & Exploitation

                I had used urban company for cleaning my 1400 sq ft duplex house at baroda, Gujarat for the first time in 2022.I was very satisfied and reffered to all my friends in different parts of India.There was a minor damage in the floor though.

                Urbanclap complaint.
                I had used urban company for cleaning my 1400 sq ft duplex house at baroda, Gujarat for the first time in 2022.I was very satisfied and reffered to all my friends in different parts of India.There was a minor damage in the floor though.
                Recently I moved from overseas after my retirement and moved to Baroda city to live.Soon after I reached Baroda, I fell sick and is hospitalised.Hospital wants to discharge but, not able to go as the house needs to be cleaned.
                Based on my previous experience, I booked a slot at 1 pm on 5th mar for cleaning my house.They had accepted the booking but at 1250pm they communicated their failure in arranging cleaning people and rescheduled to 6 th mar at 9am.

                Today, on 6th march, from 9-1030 am, they did not start the job saying that the category of booking was not right and they say the house will come under villa category for which i have to pay rs.14000/- (double the amount than what I paid last year).
                My house is not a villa, its 3bhk duplex house, a typical small home in gujarat of size 1400 sq ft.Last year I paid 6048/- under ‘Premium home deep cleaning’.
                Its an empty house with very few furniture.I am opening the house after one year after UC cleaned the house in 2022.Immediately after cleaning, I had to close and leave.
                Further, The workers do not have dress code and looks like hand picked from here and there.

                The whole incident has completely disappointed me.Since I am still in hospital and my wife and my brother is facing the situation at the site.Doubling the price in one year, categorising the house wrongly and the way they dealt the situation is totally unacceptable especially when I have become sick and do not have a choice.I would call it a exploitation.
                I have my another apartment ready in the same city which was to be taken up next for cleaning but, I would never go for Urban Company atleast.Also, I will pass on this experience to all my friends.
                It is dishearting to see that our Govt. is not the only responsible to make the country progress, now its our turn to change ourself and be truthful and efficient and be loyal.
                I request you to look into this issue and see that customers are not punished for the inefficient applications that you have made and not the customer.

                    Contacted Sreenu water filter technician, , , charged 4000 for water filters change and left. But after his service, water started leaking out, contacted him several times, , , said he is at his town will come back and solve the issue . It’s been two months, he hasn’t come and not even responding . Called main water filter company guy, , , he states that motor wire was broken due to inefficient placement / service and it will costs me 10000 rupees. He states that not all filters are also changed

                      Description Of Incident

                      I got a washing machine repaired. on 28th Feb.The technician asked for a huge amount of Rs 6279 for changing parts. I paid in full but havent still been given the promised warranty though have spoken to their Customer Service.10 times. The app also says that I have not paid when I already paid in full. Urban Company has zero after sales service. Also be careful of technicians who fraud you saying multiple parts are spoilt. The Urban company is of zero help too to hold the technician accountable. They show a high rating for the technician. Now after paying so much I have no warranty because they didnt given item wise invoice.

                      I want an item wise invoice and warranty having paid so much. I want an assurance I was charged correctly plus that parts were genuine. Plus a refund of 1900 for the thermostat that is still not working

                        I have booked service call my washing machine BOSCH classixx 5.5 kg. Heavy noise during rinsing and spinning is the complaint. Urban Clap technician came and attended and said, that the fault is with motor. Motor to be replaced for a cost of Rs. 4200. I him to change the motor and I paid the amount Rs.4200. In spite of change of motor also, there was noise in the machine. Again I recalled person for revisit and that new technician said, the fault is due to shock absorber. Again, I told him ti change the same. But, still that noise is there in the machine. Yesterday 27.02.2033, I called outside authorised service centre for Bosch Techinican. He examined and sad, that the fault is with the DRUM. It is no way connected to motor or shock absorber. I complained to urban clap and they told me to send the service bill copy, so that, they will be refunding the amount, which I paid for motor as well as for service charges. But, there is no response

                            I had booked for chimney deep cleaning service to be carried out at my home at Salt Lake Kolkata on Sun, Feb 26. The service person calls me at 10 am to inform that he wouldn’t be able to come due to some death that has happened in his family. Till then, the UC App was showing that the service person was 30 min away, so we’re all waiting. He should have informed in advance about his incapacity to deliver the service on scheduled time to his organization (Urban Company in this case), so that appropriate action could hv been taken and the service could be delivered at scheduled time by a replacement service person. Very very unprofessional service and behaviour by UC and its service personnel.

                              I booked Urban Company (UC) service on 1st feb, 2023, to repair my Samsung Microwave, however instead of repairing it the agent ruined my microwave an damaged the cavity.
                              When i had first reported my issue on 2nd feb, i was informed by Rushil and Amit that the damage that has been caused to my microwave will be repaired by UC's SME.
                              After placing a booking and waiting for 2 days when no SME was booked i was informed that I can get it repaired on my own as no UC expert is available at my location.
                              I was assured that whatever the amount woulf be required for repairing the microwave shall be borne by UC.
                              In this regard rushil asked for my bank account details and informed me that he will transfer 1500 rs as a token of apology.. when i informed him that this will not cover the damage cost, he informed me that i can get my microwave repaired and present valid bills in that regard.
                              UC will reimburse me with the rest of the amount.
                              That's why i started looking for an appropriate mechanic as i was told that GST bills would be required. I contacted Samsung Customer support and on talking to their engineer and showing them the damaged Microwave cavity, they informed it cannot be replaced as it is no more manufactured. When i contacted UC again, Rushil informed that i can get it repaired locally and provide any bill and i will still be compensated for the same. I asked him again and again if this is final and he answered confidently yes. A day later Ms. Nandini called me and informed they cannot reimburse the damage as they have given me 1500 rs and that is the max amount of compensation. When i asked on what ground was that given, she had no answer. I told her to justify the amount and the damage cost. She had no answer. Without letting me know they closed my issue amd whenever I reopen it, some Amandeep closes it abruptly Without respond to me appropriately. I request UC to either repair my microwave oven or reimburse the equivalent amount. They're saying no to both. I am left with a damaged microwave which has to be sold in scrap now.

                                Professional visited for fridge door repair service . Informed to cancel this 4.30pm booking due to non availability of new gasket for godrej fridge door repair.
                                Spare parts damaged while fridge cleaning work booking
                                Also informed to call godrej service team for resolution.

                                Kindly permit me to book godrej service team for rectification and the same must be reimbursed as per your warranty terms and conditions
                                .
                                Hence Chat executive assured all expenses amount will be reimbursed under warranty don't worry.

                                Booking screenshot is attached property damaged warranty class applicable till final repair, assured for total reimbursement

                                Arrange callback immediately from concerned escalation team Tamil department,

                                Unable to close fridge door since from 06.02.2023

                                  I had booked wall beautification service at urban company and work started on Feb 6, 2023

                                  We were told that service will complete in 2 days but it has not been completed till date.

                                  At first, wrong material was delivered and then professional has been unreachable.

                                  Customer support team is also not responding.
