To, Team Videocon Mobile Phones Dear Sir/Madam, I was purchase your mobile on dated 19.11.2013 at the Chennai mobiles for my brother. Model: A42 in the name of S.Alex. On June month software problem occured. I am going to your service station (Ran Mobiles-[protected]) and hand over my mobile for service and i got after one month. Next 04 to 05 days mobile same problem occured and it only shown factory mode. Again 16.07.14 hand over to authorized service centre (Ran Mobiles-[protected]). Already 01 month over but enquiring that shop they told mobile not received from Chennai Service centre. Kindly do the needful at the earliest pl. Regards, S. Pradeep Sridharan

    I bought new Videocon VJU32HH 32 inches HD Ready LED Television from Snapdeal. Invoice No.: S01483/14-15/613 Order no. [protected] placed via "cash on delivery" on[protected]:07:16 I got the delivery of the product on time, but Videocon and Snapdeal staff are saying that they are not liable for installation and demonstration of the Television. They are not sending man for installing Television. However, it is clearly written on page with other technical specification. It is written like this: (Check image attached as a proof) INSTALLATION & DEMO 1 Our Courier Partner will only deliver the Product to your Shipping Address & will not install or unpack the product 2 For requesting installation/wall mounting/demo of this product once delivered, please directly call Videocon support on[protected] and provide product's model name as well as seller's details mentioned on the invoice. They will give you an installation reference number which can be used for any further followup 3 Brand service team can take upto 3 to 4 business days after your request for installation of the product 4 Please reach out to Snapdeal customer care in case of any issues What is Installation & Demo? Standard Installation and product demo are free services provided by the brand service team, subject to conditions. The authorized service engineer will install your TV on a wall mount or table top. As part of demo, the service engineer will check all ports & demonstrate TV's features and settings. Kindly get me an engineer for set up of this TV as soon as possible.

    snapdeal provides return guarantee. so if they are asking more for installation ask them to take the product back.

      Sir, I purchased Videocon mobile A31 in March"14 after 3 months it's touch key problem started. I went to service center on 22-july-2014 and submit my handset and they told, it will repair after 8-10 days after 10 days they told to wait for 5 more days, and again and again they are going to pros pone the date, after one month they didn't return my handset and also not giving any clear response. service center executives are not having idea regarding videocon mobile handsets.         Sir/Madam, In month of Jun to Aug'14, since AC was not cooling the room we made a complaint many times in these three months. Service person attended the issue, identified the some point and resolve it like cleaning. After rectification, filled gas it worked fine but within a week it stopped cooling. Since then we contacted them directly saying the issue till today no one attended the issue. AC have some problem due to which water comes inside room . My LED is faulty due to this incident. So its enough if you dont give me response, i will submit complaint in indian consumer forum & claim for my money back. It is given repeated problems, and even i have complaint many times but no one give me satisfied response. Pls inform concerned to attend the issue, otherwise i have to go in consumer forum. i have submited complaint of LG for led, , so they have to replaced LG LED. So, its my request take it serious issue.             Even after multiple complaints to repair a newly bought washing machine, no service is provided, just the false promises. As directed I gave my phone for repair to –technocare solutions, lajpat nagar –II, new delhi, phone-[protected][protected], however I was shocked to learn that I will be charged Rs. 1400 for the repairs as the screen has some scratch marks on it, though it is well under guarantee. I told them that the screen was to be replaced as the touch was not working, and shown them all below emails, they agreed but informed that they did not have the authority to waive the charges. Sir, as is evident from trailing mails that the touch was not working and it should be replaced under guarantee only, I kept the company well informed and did not get any response. Videocon is a big company and it should treat its’ customers well. I am very much hopeful of a positive response from your end.                 I Bought a Videocon Mobile A31, in Feb this year (2014), in about 2-3 months I had problem with the phone and approached a service centre in Chennai who said the on/off switch needs to be replaced to get it repaired, they said it would take 10 days to get the spares and asked me to surrender the phone to them, I did so on 15th July'14, after continued follow up also I did not get my phone as committed rather they informed me that the mother board has to be replaced and it is been sent to Noida service centre on 29th July, they told I would get my phone in 10 days, but it now more than 1 month and yet I have not got my mobile back, when I contact the service centre in Chennai they give contradicting information and my mails to videocon support desk is left unanswered. Not sure if I would get my phone back at all.

                  Hello, Customer No:93582098 I had renewed DTH connection with South Silver Package which included 1)Times NOW 2)ET NOW Now after recharge the two channels are not available am told by your Customer Care people that the 2 channels have been removed, without prior notification, and replaced with BBC World and NDTV Profit. How can you change channels just after me recharging for another year? How do you justify this kind of duplicity while you advertise with "Price Protection" when you declare a channel as not part of package after having paid for the package?? Also I am paying for" Oriya, Bangla and Russian Language Channels ".I dont see the need for these in "South Silver Package ". Please tell me why I dont get popular English Entertainment & News channels instead of Russian, Bangla, Oriya? Regards, Seshachalam

                    Product: videocon - refrigerator, vcl-80z sh.
                    Purchased from arvindra electronics pvt. Ltd. (Chd) on 15.02.2010
                    Defect: no cooling: reported to the a/m dealer on 11.08.2014 at 11am. Was told that my complaint was being forwared to videocon centre.
                    No one turned up for two days.
                    Contacted videocon, tel. No.[protected] on 13.08.2014 at 1200 noon.
                    No one turned up, i kept making calls on a/m tel. No. At last a technician visited on 14.08.2014, made checks, declared the compressor shorting, and disappeared saying some one more competent would visit to do the necessary.
                    From that time onwards i have been contacting on a/m tel. No. Requesting to attend and complete the repairs. Every time i am being told "some one would visit, wait some time more". I am at loss and fail to understand as to what kind of after sale services the reputed videocon company has established.
                    Please help. I also understand that the compressor is still under warranty period. The dealer and the attending technician had confirmed the same

                        One of the biggest mistakes of my life - bought a Videocon AC as I was looking for a budget model, and after the first year, it has been nothing but a complete NIGHTMARE. 1st Experience: The AC stopped working after 1 year so I registered a complaint by calling Videocon "Customer Service". The complaint was assigned to this OUTSOURCED service agency called 'HI-TECH SERVICES'. The guys first took a good week or so to visit, and when they finally came, they said they need to take the AC to their workshop. Then began another period of despair and wait. After 2 MORE weeks, and a FEW HUNDRED calls to the service agency, I was informed that they will need another couple of days as the part required is unavailable. 3 WEEKS, no progress. I called after 2 days to get the update, no response on any of the mobile numbers i had, the landline mentioned "did not exist". After several rounds of heated arguments, the AC was finally delivered (by the owner of the agency in his personal car as the agency had no transportation vehicle. Nevertheless, the AC came back completely tattered. The front plastic grill was broken, the airflow swing was broken, the icing on the cake: they had COMPLETELY ruined the cooling coil, flattening out the gaps due to which ice started to form on the AC. By the time i received the AC, it was pretty much the end of the season and i had no energy left to go through the TORTURE again, so left the issue unattended. 2nd Experience: This year, in April, the compressor went bad so I called customer service, requesting a replacement of the cooling coil as well as the compressor. The request was again forwarded to an OUTSOURCED agency (headed by Mr. Om Vir), which is by far the MOST INCOMPETENT PROFESSIONAL ENTITY I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. The agency took 34 day (yes, THIRTY FOUR!!!) to bring back the AC. During the period, i called the pickup guys as well as Mr Om Vir at least a BAZILLION times, but to no avail. Nevertheless, when the AC arrived, once again, the outsourced lunatics managed to show why Videocon is the MOST PATHETIC company of home appliances and consumer electronic. The apparently "new" cooling coil was damaged in one corner, and none of the buttons on the control panel was working whereas they were working ABSOLUTELY fine when they took the AC. Just to mention, the panel was dangling with just ONE screw...!! (another great example of proficiency) The total bill was 5600. 4000 for cooling coil, 1600 for gas, the compressor was covered under warranty. I pointed out the problem of the control panel to the delivery guy (Vijay), who said there is some problem with PCB and he will come back "later" to check it. Yes, after 34 days, the guy had the audacity to say he will come back "later". Suspecting he will never actually return, i paid 4000, and asked him to collect the balance once the problem with PCB is fixed as it came into being during the fateful 34 days my AC spent in their pawn shop. As expected, he never returned, stopped answering calls, and that was the end of the line. 3rd Experience: 2 months down the line, the apparently "new" compressor stopped working, so i called up customer service once again and this time, i dived straight into a HORRENDOUS game of passing the bucket. The request was again forwarded to Mr. Om Vir's agency so i called up customer service, told them the awesome experience i had with Mr Om Vir's agency and requested the complaint to be forwarded to a company-owned service center. Another hallmark of incompetence, the guy had absolutely no clue about how to direct service requests, but was generous enough to provide me the number of a service manager Mr Manjit Singh who happens to be the only sane individual representing the company in the NOIDA/Ghaziabad region. I called him up, told him the entire story (about the cooling coil which was damaged by Hi-Tech as well the PCB which was damaged by Mr. Om Vir's agency). He called this guy called Ankur (another HIGHLY incompetent and unprofessional employee of Videocon) in conference and asked him to take care of the problem. After 2 days, the AC was picked from my property with a commitment that it will be delivered either in "1 or 2" days. Of course, it never happened. Called up Mr. Ankur innumerable times and every time i was presented with a new excuse for the delay, ranging from "kawad" to "rain" and everything in between. After a few days, Mr. Ankur started to ignore all my calls, as well as disconnect them on some occasions. In fact, on many occasions, i used to get call waiting, but he never had the decency to call back, let alone taking ownership of the issue. Calling Mr. Manjit Singh was the only option so i resorted to it after about a week of waiting and he actually helped to get the issues resolved. But now we had a new one on hand - though the compressor was under warranty, someone had to bear the cost of PCB, which I completely denied to accept as 1 - the part was damaged by the "company's people" at their "own workshop", not at my premises, and 2 - i had just paid 4000 for cooling coil which was also damaged by the representing Videocon. Another couple of days went into the debate and finally after about a fortnight, i received a call from this guy called Rajkumar saying that the AC is repaired and under testing, and that the bill is 4200. The breakdown: 1200 Gas (I was asked to pay 1600 for gas by Mr. Om Vir's agency. Another testament of how the of Videocon are scamming people) 400 Capillary 450 Transportation (was never before charged for "transportation" by any of the other service providers.) 350 Service (the cooling coil was "new", and the AC clearly DID NOT require any service, but nonetheless.) 1800 PCB I again called Mr. Manjit Singh, who got Om Vir into a conference call as he said someone has to pay for the PCB. On the conference call, Mr. Om Vir CLEARLY AGREED" that the PCB was damaged at their workshop, but demanded the outstanding 1600 (imagine paying twice for gas and still, having to spend the entire summer without AC). I pointed out the disparity in the gas pricing, so Mr. Singh honored the words of Mr. Rajkumar and the final amount was decided to be 2400: 1200 Gas, 400 capillary, 450 transport, 350 service. Although the last two charges didnt make any sense, but i still agreed to pay. FINALLY, after a while, i received a call from Mr. Rajkumar that the AC will be delivered in a couple of hours, which again did not happen. Rather, a guy came carrying a bill, saying that as per the "company's new policy" i need pay the bill upfront if i want my AC back (stealing was now a thing of the past, these guys have upped their game to be absolute DACOITS!) Fulfilling the demand was out of question considering the experience i had with the company and their repeated confirmation of heinous incompetence. So, i called up Mr. Singh and he facilitated the delivery. The request was closed on 2 Aug 2014 (GHA[protected]). Experience 4: On the 11 Aug 2014, (9 days after i received the AC) the AC went completely dead. Called up customer service, registered a complaint (GHA[protected]). The technician came, checked the unit, said that the PCB is faulty and needs to be replaced, and that i need to pay for the replacement. Please note that the installed PCB was apparently "new" and lasted 9 days. I called up the only person i thought knew right from wrong - Mr. Singh but this time even he refused to help. Said i need to pay for the replacement or else he cant do anything about the issue. He said that the best he can do is to get me some kind of discount. He shared one number of Mr. Saifi who said that he has no information about the approval of any discount and that the replacement cost will be 2800 (earlier, Mr. Rajkumar has said that the cost of PCB is 1800. Another testament of how they are scamming people.) I called up Mr Singh again and he said that someone will call me in a while to update the price. Hasn't happened so far. The last resort, i called a local repair service provider and got the PCB fixed. Charge: Rs. 1000. Here is a summary of how Videocon is scamming people: They take the equipment to their workshop, damage some parts, and unless they are getting paid for the replacement, they install used parts with barely any life left in them and charge customers for all subsequent replacements. Take a hint: New Compressor (replaced under warranty) Life: 2 months New PCB (replaced under FOC): Life: 9 days Cooling coil - damaged by Videocon/Hi-Tech - customer billed 4000 for replacement PCB replacement damaged by Videocon - FOC replacement lasted 9 days - company denies service warranty - customer being asked to pay 2800 for the replacement. Cost of gas: agency 1: 1600, agency 2: 1200 Cost of PCB: 1st instance: 1800, 2nd instance (after 9 days): 2800 Cost of transportation/service: agency 1, 2: ZERO, agency 3: 450 Forced service cost. Thinking of filing a lawsuit for financial fraudulence, mental harassment, and any other charges my lawyer suggest, if this complaint doesn't get an apt response. A word of advice to everyone out there: NEVER, EVER buy anything by VIDEOCON. The service people of the company are as pathetic as its products. The products might be cheap, but carry NO value.

                          Dear Sir,
                          I have purchased a Videocon calling tab VT75C on[protected] from Infibeam.com online shop. On[protected] I faced a display or automatic power off problem. I rushed to local service center of Videocon and handedover my tab. they kept my tab with them for 15 days and gave me on 13.05.2014 with a dry battery condition. I kept my tab charging and found the same problem. On the same day I approached the service center and they took it vide Job No. ANP[protected]. So far I did not get my tab back. It is almost 4 months over. Whenever I reached the Kothagudem service center, they used to tell me that company will send you a new tab. There is no stock at company end.

                          I need my tab urgently. Please help me or guide me what to do.

                            Dear sir, I Mr. ajit walke would like to inform you that we had purchase a videocon LED TV to from super electronics F-4/14, sector - 6 C.B.D. belapur navi mumbai - 400614 on date[protected]. and it was with one year warranty period. when i was switch on the tv on date[protected] it was not start or display. then i was register the complaint to customer care on date[protected] and the complaint no - THA[protected]. then service engineers came and checked the tv he told me by our tv part got damaged. due to some pc problem it was given to outherized dealer. we got the tv part after 23 days from aurangabad of the long period. it was yet not working when service engineers came with part. so the tv was taken to workshop while bringing from the workshop tv stand broken again new problem. til date not receieved the tv stand from company.so would like to infrom you that i want my tv to get replaced. as almost one month of warranty period was lost. Becoz of company delayement. so kindly requesr to do the needful help or reply.

                                  I had purchased Videocon Tablet model No. VT85C / IMEI No. [protected] on 23.12.2013 from Poorvika Mobiles Pvt. Ld., Madurai.

                                  To my utter dismay the device started malfunctioning right from the 2nd month onwards in that while charging the process gets abrupted often. Due to the above deficiency I was unable to charge the device and utilize the same. As I am very busily preoccupied with my regular work, I could not hand over the instrument to the service centre since I could not get any spare time and I was frustrated with the poor performance of the set.

                                  At last when I enquired with the supplier viz., M/s. Poorvika Mobiles, I was told to contact the authorized service centre Ms. Vinayaka Communications, Madurai. I could get time only in the last week of April ‘14 to hand over the device to your authorized service centre duly producing the original cash receipt to prove the warranty. They told me that the there is some fault in the charging area and I readily immediately handed over the set for repairing since it was your authorized service centre. They made some repair and told me that the charger pin was replaced and also charged me Rs.450/- vide receipt No.130 dated 2.5.14 (job sheet No.15709). When I objected the payment they convinced me that the charging pin is not covered under warranty and hence they have charged Rs.450/-.

                                  Even though I am already frustrated with the set, however when I tried using the device after a couple of days when I could get time, the device got automatically switching off duly getting heated even while using for a short time. I contacted the service centre, I was told that there is a major problem in the mother board and needs replacement.

                                  Even though I am frustrated with the poor performance of the Tablet manufactured from a reputed company, I decided to hand over to the same service center on 7.5.2014 (job sheet No.15885).

                                  I am to state that during the 6 month period I could use the set only for about 2 months due to the multiple malfunction as already stated. I am also deeply irked whether I chose a wrong brand of Tablet.

                                  Even though the set was handed over on 7.5.14, no progress of the job is known to me except that the mother board is faulty. When enquired about the status of the work order, I could not get any information. I am at loss to under stand what is happening as the Tablet is yet to be returned to me till now.

                                  Due to the foresaid reason, now I am in no position to use a tablet with a repaired/faulty mother board within the warranty period and I cannot compromise on this.

                                  Hence I request you to either refund the entire amount of Rs.8500/- paid by me or else replace the tablet with a brand new one without any further agony and resorting to litigation.

                                      Sir I had purchased a Videocon washing machine on 18.10.2013. Soon after the machine stopped working. We made a complain but the machine was not improved up to the mark and it showed the same problem as it was earlier. After that we made complain more than 25 times but still no heed was paid. And the machine is still lying dead as a useless junk. And its under Warrenty. So sir I request you to look into the matter and take necessary action against the company Thanking you sir Pratik
