[Resolved] Vodafone — Deduction of amount from main balance
An amount of Rs 22/- has been deducted from the main balance of my account. When I checked my Message Inbox, I noticed that I have received an SMS from VZ-ViCMS regarding the download of FUN PORTAL from CARBUN8. PLease note that I have not downloaded any application from the said page or website.
I spoke to the Customer Care executive, but they were telling that this was a third party application and not the problem of Idea. In spite of informing them that such a complaint was raised by many Vodafone Idea customers they were adamant saying that it is the mistake of the customers and not the company. The executive mentioned that all those customers whose money was debited might have downloaded some application and also to contact the handset customer care number.

As per our records the deduction was done for a PPU i.e, pay per use service which is only deducted when some kind of services is used by customer on their consent.
