incoming calls & incoming sms are not working

I have a problem on [protected]. The incoming calls are not received and the caller gets the message "the number you are calling is out of net work coverage area". But outgoing calls & sms work.

I tried vodaphone 198/199 numbers, but of no help. Some automated testing is done and it stops. To contact the manual assistance, it says an otp is sent to verify the number. This is utter stupidity, when the complaint is that incomings...

Hi,
There has been zero network coverage in my office for vodafone and data services are simply not working beyond 100 kbps speed, hence i have been trying to port out my number [protected] but every time i send a port request to 1900, i get this message "upc cannot be generated for the reasons: (1) there are subsisting contractual obligations with your service provider."

Please help me out to get the port code. All my outstanding bills are cleared as of today.

    Vodafone has deducted ₹49 from my account on sep 19, 2020 without authorisation on my prepaid sim. When contacted on 198 they are saying games pack was activated through 'advertisement'. I don't understand how this got activated as i have not authorised any such payments. I was suggested to download the trai cms app on google play store to register a complaint and get refund.

    However, the app shows there are no vas services active and when a message 'stop' was sent to 155223, i received the same response.

    However as per your records and conversation with your executives they confirmed that that games download was user initiated and that refund cannot happen.

    This has been happening every month even after vas services have been blacklisted by the customer executives.

    I want a full refund and also assurance that this will not happen again.

When I told them that I didn't even listen about that game and it is not even in my phone or any download history then they just replied that they don't know anything about that they just able to tell about deductions.             I have ported out of vodafone. It has raised bill of months later, only to harass me and asked my new service provider jio to stop my no. [protected] and jio has listened to it. I have paid rs 999 extra to vodafone and they had assured to refund it. I have mail from vodafone to that effect. I even have mail from vodafone that no amount is outstanding against my said no. Vodafone is fraudulently doing this. I have written more than 50 mails to vodafone and jio. They appear dumb. Please help : connection must be resumed by jio, and refund must be given by vodafone.

              Hello,
              I need to urgently report this issue against vodafone india. My wife's vodafone number got an unusual billing of inr 930/- when her usual bill amount is inr 470/- when i called up vodafone india to register a complaint against this, they said the itemised bill is not yet generated and they cannot help me until they see the bill. I called back after two weeks and they took down the complain. Today i was notified that there is no issue in the billing and they cannot help me in rectifying this.

              When i checked the itemised bill myself i was shocked to see that they have billed me for 79 international sms sent on one single date 27th august 2020 between 12pm to 5pm.

              All of these were different uk numbers starting with 44703 and some to turkey numbers. I can say this for sure that we do not know anyone in these countries and we have never sent these sms.

              Is this is a kind of a scam? I need urgent assistance for this.

                I have ported out from my vodafone connection to another operator within my eligible billing cycle. Vodafone on purpose did not port me out on initial informed date and activated port on day 3, which was first date of next billing cycle. Since mine was postpaid connection they are now chasing me to make full payment for entire month despite only 1 day services were purposely allotted to me.
                Despite of multiple mails i am not receiving any response from vodafone end however they have initiated recovery agent who are harassing me 10 times a day to close payment

                  Hi vodafone idea team,

                  Trust this note finds you well and in high spirits (After recently launched vi advertisement).

                  But trust me the ground reality is completely different and vague. Here is my story sharing example of work ethics followed by your organisation.
                  I am an existing prepaid idea customer and on 12th sept'20 went to nearby vodafone store (Fateh nagar, jail road, delhi 110018) to upgrade my sim to 4g (Sorry got excited by your new ad). The representative said the merger is not fully system operational and documents uploaded by idea are not visible in vodafone system so you need to buy postpaid plan and submit your documents. I objected to this and had a word with store in-charge (Satendra) who made further stories and frighten us by saying that your number will be deactivated and postpaid is the only way out (First surprise). There was no choice but to give in to their sales ploy. They completed the formalities and handed over the sim packet and informed that it will be activated in 48 hours. Coming out of store we checked the sim packet and it was empty (Second surprise), yes, there was no sim card.
                  I went back and they handed over another packet and this time sim was there. Total time spent = 3 hours, visit no.1
                  On 15th sept, my old sim go deactivated and i dialed the given number and a code to activate the new sim, but it did not work. I went to store the same day and the representative informed that sim was faulty (Third surprise) and need to change to another sim and it will again require the documentation and will further take another 24 hours to activate (Fourth surprise). Trying to understand where is my fault here, i put across the point that i have no means to communicate as old sim is de-activated, the store in-charge (Satendra) intervene and promised to get sim activated within 24 hours and gave me his number so that i do not need to visit the store. Total time taken = 2 hours, visit no.2
                  Today is 17th sept, the sim is still not activated and the person does not pick-up the phone (Fifth surprise).
                  I am on my way of third visit to store and will share further surprises on my return.
                  Also, now i am realizing that why people were angry and some even shouting in store. Its the amazing customer service and work ethics this organisation follow. I would humbly request mr. Ravinder takkar and mr. Birla to visit your stores and experiences the surprises your company sells.

                  Its 18th Sept and i am just back after my 04 visit at the store. I have again been issued a new sim (3rd sim) this afternoon (again have to go through the documentation and photo process) and was promised 2 hours activation. It has been 6 hours including a visit but still sim is still not active and have been informed that some 'doc' is pending. Total Time taken - 3.5 hours, 03 & 04 visit.
                  Vi team, congratulations to you on spending 800 crores on branding effort to win back customer, i really hope you succeed considering your ways of working and handling customers.

                      Vodafone india has deducted rs. 39/- in total for services as per below -

                      04/09/20 - 15/- (Dmw9 video)
                      08/09/20 - 21/- (Dnlddwapcomo)
                      16/09/20 - 3/- (6t seconds video fortnightly)

                      The customer care executives claim that some "content" has been downloaded for which they have deducted the charges. No such service has been availed or any content downloaded on my device. Now they have also refused to refund my balance and informed me to mail for any further help.

                        Vodafone is automatically debiting charges towards vas. I never opted and i never given second consent. On 14.9.20, they debited rs.49. Inspite of sending mail to customer care, they rejected as second consent made. So, vodafone software itself is bogus and they cheating customers. High level cyber fraud enquiry should be conducted by cbi.
                        They are not yet refunded the amount. So, i am lodging complaint for refund of rs.49 wrongly debited to my balance.

                          On 23rd June I had done a recharge of 379 twice

                          1. Amazom Pay
                          Operator reference number: ONR[protected]
                          2. Pytm
                          Operator reference number: ONR[protected]

                          I called up vodafone care immediately informing about the double recharge and I was told a refund is not possible and that the second recharge will come into effect after the expiry of the first one.
                          On 15th I called up again as the second recharge did not kick in automatically as i was promised. I was told they will escalate the matter and that I will get a callback from one of their other teams. Case number KAR-V[protected]

                          I did get a callback on 15th itself promising me that it will be resolved by 16th September.
                          After an hour I got an SMS that KAR-V[protected] is resolved however my plan was not activated. I waited until the next day hoping it would get activated.
                          Today i.e. 16th sep when I called up the customer support say that there was only 1 recharge done which has expired !!!
                          Your team has changed the facts !! After letting me wait for so long they are now telling me to redharge again ! Artocious !

                          Please refund my money or get the 379 plan reactivated otherwise I will be forced to take legal action.

                            I have been a vodafone user for the last 10 years. However, i was facing lots of network issues in the past 6-9 months. I visited vodafone store about 3 months ago and i was told that upgrading to a redx plan would address my network connectivity issues. The executive at the store downloaded the vodafone app on my mobile and himsel[censored]pgraded me to redx plan on my mobile with the promise that all network issues would be addressed. However, the change to redx did not have any impact and finally fed up with the poor network and support from vodafone i ported out of vodafone to airtel last month.

                            Now when i receive my last months' vodafone bill i have been levied an additional charge of approx rs.2500 because apparently there is a six months lock-in period in the redx plan and since i am exiting the plan before 6 months i need to pay up this amount!! This clause was never mentioned to me when i was upgraded into this plan.

                            This is a clear case of taking advantage of a customer by upgrading him to a higher plan without explaining the hidden clauses.

                            While i am willing to pay the amount for my usage till the date when i ported out., i refuse to pay this additional amount as it a downright unethical practice by vodafone.

                            It is very sad and unfortunate that a premium vodafone customer from 10 years plus is being cheated this way due to some unscrupulous employees.

                            Repeated emails to maqbool khan have gone unanswered.

                            Please help to resolve this issue

                              This is with regard to the bill from 11aug-10sep on my number [protected]. There is a value added subscription charge for a service that has been subscribed to without my consent. These charges seem to incur weekly on the dates 24 aug, 31 aug, 7 sept. I did not send any sms or opt in for this service nor availed any of its features. Further, on calling customer care, i understand that there is a chance that these charges may reflect in my next bill. I refuse to bear charges for these services since this was done without my explicit consent and knowledge. I want the charges reversed on my existing and future bill. Kindly address this matter urgently as my due date is on sept 26.

                                I dk jain on 16 september 2020 ported my postpaid vodafone number [protected] to airtel prepaid since vodafone signals are pathetic but as soon as i ported my number to airtel, i started getting harassment calls from vodafone saying they are airtel people and that my number cannot be ported to airtel??? I mean what nonsense?? How can such a big name like vodafone do such a thing?? Its a shame to be harassing your old customer to just keep using your pathetic network less vodafone???                                   After buying a sim card, i had a issue with the activation process, i went to the nearest vodafone store and inquired about it they gave me contact of the manager of jaipur who was responsible for the job, manish sharma who behaved in a very ethical way say no sense about what he should speak n not giving proper reply to my calls than he gave me another contact of rikitaram acharaya... She have the talent of speaking in most disrespectful way... With a very loud tone n abusive words

                                    I have been vodafone customer since years. I have lived in maharashtra, kerala and uttar pradesh. I was getting a very good service when was in kerala and maharashtra. But now i am in uttar pradesh and i am receiving the worst service ever. Whenever i call certain people i am getting a reply that the person is out of coverage or his phone is switched off. When i try the same with my airtel sim i am able to connect with them. And this was not merely occasional but i am facing it every now and then. The same thing happens when people call me on vodafone sim. They get the reply that my phone is switched off for i am out of coverage area. Emergency calls become worse. Please look into the issue and do the needful. Otherwise, you will loose customers

                                      I decided to port my number from vodafone to another service provider. The company now calls me 8-10 times a day to convince me not to port it. It is getting annoying and i want to register a complain for the same.
                                      Vodafone India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
