      Dear Representative

      I have applied for vodafone connection through my company i.e ICICI PRUDENTIAL in the month JAN.2012 and i have given the documents to one of the executive who is sitting at my branch for process.But the representative has reportes me that due to some old numbers outstanding amounts he can not process my request.I told him to give my documents back.but he told me that it is cancelled and can not be called back.so i did not mind it.
      And in the month of Mar.12 again i applied for vodafone connections.and this time i went to vodafone store directly.They processed it.and i received two numbers which was working properly till 1st week of July.12.
      Now on 2nd of july i received a mail from vodafone saying my new vodafone number[protected] is activatedand i immediately replied to that mail and informed that i have never applied for any new connection so kindly disconnect the line. Instead of replying me they send me a bill of Rs.35 dated 12.july.12.
      I highlighted this issue infront of all possible authorities but they are not giving me any clarification.today i again checked my documents which is submitted at the time of activation.It is the same documents which i have submitted in the month of Jan.12.and understood it that vodafone executive has made a fraud by misusing this documents.I have not received any sim card too.
      So i request you to kindly have look at the matter and teach a lesson to vodafone.
      I lost almost 5000rs to resolve the matter by visiting vodafone stores.
      Kindly take my request for compensation.

        Dear Sir,

        I am Umed Vora, having my mobile no.[protected]. Since last one week of time, I am getting daily base messages and emails from Vodafone regarding my usage. At the time of visiting Vodafone store, i am informed that, due to your excessive usage and change of plan, your billing amount is gone higher and its near to your credit limit.

        In fact on 29th June,2012 Mr. Sunil (contact no. [protected]) from Global Direct had visited me to offer new connections and from him, I took two new connections (sim cards) for nos. (1) [protected] and (2) [protected].
        Also at the same time, he offered me a new plan to reduce my billing amount on my existing mobile no. [protected]. As he described, in new plan offered by him (specially and exclusively offered by Global Direct only), i will get 30pc per minute local and std tariff , 100 local free SMS, 1GB Internet usage, and unlimited talktime with my other 3 numbers.

        On 30th June,2012 , I had received a SMS from Mr. Sunil of Global Direct to forward the same ( TARIFF8Y ) to 111. On the same time I had forwarded this message to 111. But the issue started now is, when i visited Vodafone store, the person from desk has informed to me that your current plan does not include any Internet usage facility package.

        The first intimation message from Vodafone regarding my usage received by me was a billing amount of Rs. 7319 on 19th July,2012 and then after i have taken necessary step regarding the issue. My experience at Vodafone store, Prabhadevi, was worst. (Token no. 233 Dtd. 23.07.2012 Time 06:54:33pm) My turn to talk with the desk person was came at 07:10pm, but the person talked to me was in a great hurry (may be, due to 07.10pm time) and he has simply explained that the issue is between you and Global Direct, so he can't help anymore from there.

        On 29th July,2012, I have visited Vodafone Store at Malad-West. (Tocken No.36, 04:10:07pm) I talked to Mr. Sangam and Mr. Fakrul, my experience at there was little better than of earlier (at prabhadevi). But they guide me to put my case at the given email id from my personal email id. On my request, they were happy to talk with Mr. Sunil of Global Direct, In which, Mr. Sunil has committed his mistake.

        Just now, on today, I have confirmed my talk-plan through my mobile by using *111#. It indicates my talk-plan is Myop per second_new rental-99, local V2V-1.2, local M2M-1.5, local others-1.5, STD M2M-2.5, STD Others-2.5, SMS local-1.00, NAT-1.5, INT-5.0...!!!
        You may please check my previous pattern of voice-calls, messaging, Internet usage and STD usage. On that basis also, no way, i can choose that kind of plan.

        I am a business person attached with Vodafone from more than 10years using four cards on my name and so many others by my family members and staff members. We are always proudly attached with Vodafone as a family and never faced a kind of issue.

        You may please talk to following persons to understand the issue in detail,

        My suggestion to solve the issue (expectation from you) is , simply calculate my all voice-calls , messages and Internet usage as per my old plan , which was in use earlier than current plan.

          I have requested to deactivate Internet Plan of 499/-per month & to activate the 99/-per month internet plan. But no action was taken by Vodafone service center. Whenever i called them they asking me to visit Vodafone store again and again, 4 times already i have visited the Vodafone store.My request no. for both above describe plan is [protected] & [protected] on dated 24.04.2012.About 3000/- excess billing the have mail me.

          The amount is in error because I have Activated Black Berry Plan on 8 Feb .After that date i have not been able to use any kind of GPRS OR VODAFONE LIVE on My HANDSET. Till Date I even don't have Settings of VODAFONE LIVE on my Handset.
          As per my knowledge Customer cannot use VODAFONE LIVE with BLACK BERRY 299 Plan .
          I have visited Store as well and talked to many Supervisors on CUSTOMER CARE but felt HELPLESS .

            Yesterday I found my balance Nil and I Recahrged with 98 Rs. Plan of vodafone Internet on dated 19 July 2012.I make call to customer care about this balance deduction then both customer care said to me that this is our vodafone technical problelm so sorry and on that day when u recharged your mobile no. with 98 Rs. Plan of internet that was not subscribed by our technical default.So,we will refund your all your balance soon within 24 hrs.but now today i make a call to one customer care he rudely talk to me and said that we are unable to refund your Main balance and whatever our customer care commited with you that can not be completed by us about balance Refund.

            Sir If you think that i am wrong and making this big issue then every telecommunication service provider has a recording facility at customer care office so please listen our conversation and plase take decision.

            I hope you will Take decision in my favour and refund my balance around 84Rs. soon.

We would like to assure you that our billing system and switch accurately monitors and records the usage of each SIM card, thus ensuring complete security and reliability. Hence, we cannot charge you for usage/calls/downloading/SMS that are not made or received on your SIM card. Thus, there are no wrong charges on your account.

              Respected Sir,

              I would like to exhibit over billed experience with Vodafone, Chennai. Since 2007, I am using Vodafone postpaid account and credit limit of Rs.2500 per billing cycle. Until Feb 2012, I didn’t get any problem end of Feb I received an outbound call froVodafonene centre. We offered internet facility to our premier customers and told will receive a SMS.After few hours; I received couple of SMS’s due to curiosity opened the same I don’t know what sort of technology they have, billing meter started. I used nearly 4 days that internet Facility within a week received SMS and stated that crossed your credit limit pay the interim amount immediately. just shocked This is the first time crossed the CL.Next day, received a mail need to pay Rs .2672 and every day sent out an e-mail with cumulative interest (I don’t know how they calculated thought of running a finance company not an reputed MNC).Then immediately cut the service one by one (out going calls and sms). I am working as a technical consultant and given this no to all my clients and friends. In Flip side, I have BSNL Internet card Rs 750 per month with unlimited download.Eventhough, Vodafone also using the same satellite which share by BSNL.I sent an email to Vodafone complaint cell and registered also. Nothing happened; my final bill amount was Rs .5672 and asked about list of sites visited by me.evntually, sent email to nodal officer after so many trailing mails finalized and given Rs.2500 as a discount. As per TROY the subscriber should not do mobile marketing/sales. But these suckers always break the rules. The Indian government must take necessary action to ban the VODAFONE Company in india.Meanwhile; I received legal notice from collection department. I lost my hard-earned money.

                  Yesterday at 19.00 hrs i have recharge Vodafone with 250/= of my wife mobile (madhya pradesh no.)from Navipur (Kanpur Dehat) from shankar electronics.Message received from Id no RM[protected] but no balance ammount is received.After calling to customer care Mr Ashish srivastava is saying that in this no internet is recharged,which we have not required.i say to him pl refund this ammount to retailer & he will again recharge it. but the customer care person refused to do so.Please solve this problem,Still it is small ammount,but it creates loss of everybodys valuable money.Waiting your positive response.

                    Vodafone 3G Device No: [protected]

                    The above mentioned device [Sharing Dock R 101 with USB stick K-3770] was purchased from Vodafone Store, Park Street on 29 Jun 2012 to enjoy a ‘3G experience’. I was clearly informed that I should be able to get 6 Mbps at my central Kolkata residence. After several complaints a speed test by Vodafone network staff on 12 Jul established a speed of 1.8 to 2.5 Mbps [Copy of test report is with me]. This is more or less the same speed I get on my ‘humble’ BSNL broadband.

                    So far Vodafone (a) has claimed the above speed comes under ‘good coverage’ and therefore declined to accept the device back and return my money (b) has raised a bill of Rs 702.25 for period 7 Jul to 17 Jul when the usage was a nominal 0.23 GB and Vodafone had not yet established the 3 G experience as their device was being tested.

                    In this particular case Vodafone has sold a service comprising a device and quality of 3G service. The test results carried out by its own Network team show the service to be deficient (1.8 to 2.5 Mbps). It cannot get away by saying that the device is in good working condition.

                    Here is an extract from a consumer magazine that explains why:

                    “In 2001 a letter issued by the then Union Minister for Consumer Affairs, Shanta Kumar, to all state governments clearly stated that the footnote stating “Goods once sold will not be taken back” is in contravention of Section 14 of the Consumer Protection Act, as the law provides for redressal of consumer complaints. The aggrieved consumer can get the item replaced, repaired or even get full refund, under the law. The letter had unequivocally criticized the practice of traders and shopkeepers shrugging ay accountability towards the goods sold by them. The letter pointed out that the seller in countries like UK and the US gives an undertaking to the consumer that if the latter is not satisfied with the item, it could be returned within one month for replacement or refund.” Runjhun; Consumer Tadka

                        Since yesterday I was facing issue of SIM card registration failed for my number [protected]. I think it’s an normal issue but I today I shocked when I called up on this number and found that Vodafone has allotted this number to someone else without informing me.

                        I am using this number since last 4.5 years and today I came to know that Vodafone has issued this number to anyone else. I have update this number for all my bank accounts and financial transactions. Also I am using this number for my business purpose.

                        Not able to understand how can Vodafone allot my number to anyone else? If anyone will do any misuse of my number then who will be responsible for the same? Anyone can use this number for any illegal and for any terrorist activity.

                        When I called the call centre from my other number Call Centre agents were not able to understand my issue and they were teaching me the theory of Prepaid connection and Postpaid connection.

                        I am going to lounge a FIR in local police station and also going to file a case in Consumer court for this.

                        Hope someone will read my complaint and taknecessary action. Also I want to confirm once more thing that I will not be responsible for any misuse done by anyone through this number during this period.

                        If Vodafone is not able to provide services to me then they can directly call me and speak to me so that we can port my number but this is not the way.

                        For any financial loss to me due to this illegal activitiy will file a case in court against vodafone.

                        REALLY VERY PATHETIC AND FULL OF MANTEILLY HARSHMENT SEVICES BY VODAFONE.

                            Dear Sir/ Madam,

                            I had requested for a portability from Airtel to Vodafone on 7th June 2012 for phone no. [protected] and contacted Vodafone gallery at Four Bungalows, Andheri west, Mumbai on 10th June, 2012. I filled up the form provided for Mobile Number Portability:Port-in customers- Vodafone and paid Rs. 369/-, vide Bank/Cash Receipt no. SP No. FAC/12-13/SP01/4004 copy of which is attached herewith. The time taken for all this was atleast one hour.

                            However, till 23rd June 2012, no portability was provided and therefore, on 23rd June 2012, I returned the SIM no.[protected] which was issued to me and requested for refund of Rs. 369/-. However, I was not given the refund but was told that a cheque will be sent to my residence within 20 days, as per company policy. The copy o[censored]ndertaking from the officer, Mr. Mario, to that effect is attached herewith.

                            It is more than a month and my refund has not come through. I have attempted to contact the Vodafone complaints dept. over the phone but they are telling me to go back to the gallery.

                            I am staying alone and working as an executive, therefore I do not have time or energy to visit the Store and again wait in the queue for another hour. As it is I have lost my valuable time in going to first Airtel Gallery at Andheri east,to disconnect any additional services like 3G (took half an hour of waiting & formalities), as advised by Vodafone and then waiting at the Vodafone gallery to fill up the form (one hour) and again at Vodafone Gallery to return the SIM card and claim refund (again one hour). I have lost count of the time and effort lost in contacting the Vodafone customer care executives over the phone.

                            I am writing this complaint as a last resort. I do not want to have portability to Vodafone, seeing the poor standard of service, even before I become a customer!

                            I request your goodself to look into my complaint and help provide my refund amount of Rs. 369/- immediately.

                              I am chandan netra from jodhpur. I have recharged my vodafone prepaid mobile no. [protected] online successfully on 21st july and amount 399/= was debited to my bank account but the amount not credited to my mobile till today. After noting this i have approached to customer care but of no use. I have given my complaint online to nodal officer and copy to appellate authority still 6days passed no response. Please help me to solve my problem and oblige.

                              vodafone prepaid — amount not credited

                              i recharged amount 222/- tr id sbi ref no.IG60868774 on 01 Aug 11.mob no.[protected].but not credited yet.plse credit/refund it quickly.

                              Vodafone — Amount is not credited to the account even though the recharge is successful...

                              I have recharged my Vodafone prepaid account through online. I got the confirmation success message and mail BUT THE AMOUNT IS NOT CREDITED TO THE ACCOUNT. The Customer care center is NOT even replying to the mail.....

                                i bought a new Vodafone POST PAID connection around 10 days ago. After the activation call, i was told that it would be active within 48 hrs but 4 DAYS later still nothing. when i call Vodafone call center for help those Firstly don't understand a simple thing that i bought a NEW POST PAID connection and all the 3 people i spoke to keep saying that Portability takes around 7 days to get activated. The first one disconnected the call, The Second one transferred the call to new connections department without informing me about the transfer or the other party about the problem at all... the new conn guy says please call 111 or 198 which according to him was a common number for all mobile service providers!!!! and even if i call from my Airtel number (which i was using to call them) it would go to Vodafone as well..!!! how Numb in the brain can one go!!!!!! now they say there is no department which can help me and i have to go to a Voda showroom to get this resolved... which is the exact thing i didn't want to do - waste my time....!!! i want to know - isn't it the responsibility of Vodafone to get the SIM activated with hassel to the consumer... why does one simple thing like activation take ages and worse to rectify it even longer...!!! can someone help me out please.

                                sir i have put vodofone sim to my mobile and i recharged as life time on[protected] still now no out going is activated my mobile number is [protected]
                                i purchase vodafone mobile connect USB stick from greater noida on dated 31 may 08 but sim yet not activated, i have call at [protected] many times no satisfactory answer, my sim no is [protected]
                                My mobile no. is [protected], i've activated national sms @29p bonus coupon on 16th jan 09.
                                Still it is not activated. When i'm entering 14 digit code it displays message on my mobile screen that
                                "RECHARGE NOT POSSIBLE". Number of times i've contacted to customer care but all in vain.
                                Please do something otherwise i will discontinue with your service.
                                I have applied for a connection on last Friday Dec 11 and since then i have been told that my connection would be activated in a days time till today the connection is inactive .
                                I speak with them almost everyday given an assurance that it would be activated today ...
                                This is by far most pathetic by Vodafone, Unfortunately i have paid them Rs350 in advance but in vain ,

                                Could you please register a complaint against them and advise if i can be refunded my money . I do not wish to avail Vodafone .
                                also i called Vodafone service and was told that i need to contact Andromeda since they offered me the connection .

                                I applied for a connection online and was approached by pathetic service provider Andromeda , I think Vodafone should take full responsibility of this .

                                  I was using a vodafone number - [protected] for past six years. The number was discontinued by the service provider by giving a notice of 24 hours via SMS that too was not received at my end.

                                  The number was carrying a life time validity and Vodafone was have my complete details including address and id proofs. I tried to follow up with the customer care and nodal officer to reactivate the number. Post multiple requests i was informed that the number cannot be reactivated because it has been sold to another customer.

                                  This was a very sad experience where the esteemed organizations like vodafone act irresponsibly by passing not only my number to another customer without my knowledge but also all sensitive financial information that was being pushed to the number.

                                  Its a breach of individual privacy and act to promote possible online frauds. Finally I tried to approach the applet of vodafone but they never even replied back.

                                  I have a complete mail trail available with me that can be provided on demand if required.

                                  The only request is to avoid using Vodafone or any service provide that has least concern about your personal information security and privacy.

                                    I got a call from number [protected] on early hour morning around 3.15AM. Suspecting fraud or SIM Cloning i did not pick the phone. So if anybody else get a call then Please carefull to pick it. I got lot of complaints on http://telephoneforum.co.uk/telephone/[protected]

                                    I request Vodafone Security Desk to look at this number ASAP before many others are affected. I hope for earliest reply from Vodafone so i can communicate further.

                                    Yes, even today from around 3:16 AM onwards I have been receiving such calls from + 44 numbers i.e. +[protected], +[protected] and +[protected]. Certainly this is a scam and I have put in my reject list and advise everyone who gets such calls can do the same and if possible also let your provider know about the same.

                                      I had purchased vodafoen USB Stick alongwith laptop on 16th july which was been activated within 2 hours. But from few days am not able to acess net from usb stick when contacted to vodafone broadband customer care first of all i was put on for long hold later i got replt that mine documents were not submitted. without informing me how can they disconnect the service. First of its their mistake now they want me to submit the document to resume the service.

                                      Vodafone USB Stick — Excess Charge & Very poor service

                                      I hold Vodafone USB stick (#[protected] for accessing internet thru my netbook since 3 months. Ist month was free for unlimited, I recharged with Rs.398/- in vodafone store at Fort branch after discussing with the executive on cash counter, but it did not got activated, I tried calling call center and they just transfer the line from one dettt. to another with no clarity on the product, they have even kept me on hold for 45 minutes and finally I have to disconnected the call, after 2 days somehow I was able to know that it has -ve balance of Rs. 5/-. i recharged with Rs. 50/- on the same day.
                                      After one month again when it got disconnected, I recharged this time with Rs.450/- to avoid any negative balance problem, but again the same not activated, same problem again there was no one to solve the problem and call center agents just transfers line form prepaid to postpaid, non technical to technical, once I shouted to him like any thing also, but the smart gentelmen transferred line to the number where it got disconnected and 4-5 days passed, finally one gentelmen helped me saying you have negative balance of Rs. 5/-, which again surprised me, i again recharged this time with Rs. 10/-, but when I tried to connect the same got disconnected dut and msg showing "service not activated". Again same series of problem of arguement with call center agents.
                                      Now to my surprise it is again showing negative balance of Rs. 7/- this time. What level of services are they providing to their clients ???
                                      I am not able to use the USB stick accessing internet, not able to complete my work resulting to financial loss, services are horrible and I want all amount paid back.
                                      Thanks to the comsumer complaints portal, where any one hears consumers complaints as a neutral entity.
