I switched from airtel to vodafone 3 months ago due to connectivity issues.

I brought a new i phone and hence opted for a 850 rs 5 GB plan. This was in addition to a vodafone usb internet dongle that i was using.
Before activating the plan, i asked the customer care rep whether i will be intimated about usage on my cell phone or not, and each time he said yes sir. According to him, i will be intimated once the usage reaches 80 percent and then again at 100 percent. So with a budget of 850 rs, i activated the plan on my cell.

On receiving my bill however, i was charged almost 3000 rs. On calling the customer care and writing to their complaints department, I was told the company is sorry for not being able to send the sms intimations but that I will have to pay the bill.

I write to you to correct this blatant injustice and defrauding by such companies.

      From last 2and half year am using vodafone postpaid connection and paying all dues on or before due date. I came to know Vodafone is charging me extra for non utilization of Internet. Bill for May2012 my due was Rs1754.00 out of that Rs830 is for internet usage which was used for 17th May2012, But I never use my internet or any GPRS service for the said date, I am shocked when I came to know for a single day I have to pay Rs830.00
      Hence I request to vodafone to provide me the data like which was the site I have used, but Vodafone ignore my concern and reply me this is third party application so they cannot provide me any data, and you have to pay for usage of 17th May 2012 because this is as per server record, hence I asked them please provide me the usages and surfed sites then they ignore again hence I said this is not created by any GOD or not created in Haven its totally created by Human being so Vodafone need to provide the required data after-all its customer's right to know for what he / she need to pay.
      Therefor I request them to reverse this payment but now a days they making mental harassment and asking me for payment.

      I have paid 399Rs for a months blackberry data service package, and i am still being charged for using internet why??
      Its been 2 weeks i ve been calling vodafone customer care and no one has given me a solution, i ve been harassed and angered.
      Its been a month and still no solution and still being charged. I will go to consumer court if this isnt fixed. I ve checked the browser settings and its all fine!

        Dear Sir/ Madam,

        My Name is Nimisha Shah and having a Vodafone SIM number:[protected]. I am holding theis number for more thean 5years and have been making thee regular payments of my bills well before thee due dates.

        Recently, I had requested to transfer theis number from Corporate Account to an individual account on 6the Jun'12. All thee necessary documents, proofs and thee details required by thee Vodafone gallery/store, has been submitted in Borivali west branch. There is no outstanding amount payable by me.

        Since theen, from 11the Jun'12, my Vodafone number has been debarred from outgoing calls. The handset is like a dumb terminal, as thee service provider has debarred all thee outgoing calls from my number.

        Have called up several times to customer care and must have spoke to theem for at least half an hour every time and theey are not in a position to tell me thee reason why i was deprived of my basic right to have thee service. Calling up thee Consumer care and talking to irresponsible customer care desk, has forced me to write theis complaint.

        In addition to theis torture, now I receive continuous text message from Vodafone theat you have an outstanding bill of 550 Rs for thee SAME period for which theey have debarred my phone withe all thee outgoing calls. I fail to understand when i am not allowed to make any outgoing calls , how can my bill be Rs 550/= for theat period. I have opted for thee simple scheme of Rs 99 withe one phone number as talkatheone number.

        I would like to know from thee VOdafone 1) thee reason why my mobile phone is debarred from outgoing calls since thee time it is transferred to an individual account 2) who is responsible for theis act 3) what actions are taken against theis positions 4) How Vodafone will compensate me for thee loss of my business in last 1 and 1/2 monthe and thee amount of torture that i had to go through to understand the reasons of their actions which affects my business.

        Vodafone — Phone services debarred while in Roaming

        I was in roaming from 16th May 2008 till 20th May 2008. The phone was working in roaming till 17th evening. Around 7:00pm I found a message SIM Card registration failed and there was no signal. I tested the SIM with other Mobile Phone and it did not work in another phone. My Phone was tested with another SIM (Hutch or Airtel) and it worked fine. While returning, I also met a person from Vodafone in the train who checked with the phone settings and isolated that the phone services was barred from Vodafone's end. To my surprise just after I entered Delhi, the phone started working normally, without further disturbance till date. After I discussed the issue with some of my friends, I found that this is a usual policy of Vodafone to debar services (not always) once the customer is on roaming. Being in a remote location, I faced a lot of difficulties without the phone. I had to use public telephone booth to make calls. No body could contact me all this while. I wrote Vodafone twice regarding the issue, there was no response from their side except that they called twice when I was busy and I told them to reply on email or call after office hours. I have the right to know the truth from any responsible person from Vodafone why this happened if they are really interested in - Happy to Help

        Vodafone — Outgoing debarred multiple times without informing

        Dear SirMadam,

        I am a customer of Vodafone Bangalore. My Relationship number is 4.5151.00.00.100051. For the last one year it has happened many times that my outgoing was debarred without any intimation from Vodafone. At many occassions i had requested them to give me a call before debarring my services so that atleast i am aware of it and can do something about it. However, they continue doing the same thing and yesterday (19th March) my services where again debarred without informing me. I was in Mumbai then and really needed my cell phone for business purpose when they again debarred without informing me. I incurred tremendous mental pressure because of this along with monetary loss( being a girl i was stuck at a place with no means to call anybody). Moreover, when i raised this issue Vodafone representative (Ayesha) called me, for this they also charge me on the incoming and made me wait for long(good way for company to make money through customer care). The least they could have done was to call me from a toll free number so that i dont get charged for the incoming while on roaming.
        I have tried again and again to get this problem sorted out with Vodafone but despite their assurance it keeps on happening. Now i am left with no alternative but to seek your mediation. Please help me here otherwise i am left with no alternative as to change my network provider. But i believe i have been wronged and i need to raise my voice.

              Sir,

              I am having mobile no. [protected]. I have been using the said no. for years. I have very few relatives abroad and most of the time they only call and rarely I do call for very brief time. Infact they only call us back. The relatives/friend/contacts are only in Canada, Dubai, Abu Dhabi & few in the the US but not in the country called Belarus. But, surprisingly, Vodafone billed me to talk someone for as long as 112 minutes to someone at that place. I have already email twice, but got stereotyped reply that I need to pay the bill of 1887.65 for the said hoax call of 112 mts.??? Now, I have wrote my last email to their nodal officer as text below;

              I have my strong grievances against your handling the case in which I categorically deny having called to the no. at Belarus...!!!! Its not the matter of money but it is matter of principal. When with such confidence I reiterate that I do not have any person there nor I am aware or heard of such country on the world map..any time before. I have also put convincingly that I have never ever talked to any one even withing Mumbai in such length of 112 minutes and also want to check my any international call right from the inception. You will get an answer in negation...

              But I have to state with great regret that instead of looking the matter very seriously, you have resort to give me stereotyped reply one after the other!!

              I also request you to find out the contact person in Belarus through your tie up with network provider there and find out from them if he/she ever talk to me/us or even know me or any of our friend or relative even by name!!! You will get answer in negation. I also want to investigate my fear of any terrorism mis act through some program software. As my son, being software engineer, passed through such experience in the past with BPL network and they waived the entire amount under dispute.

              I want thorough investigation report from you, on the strength of that I may lodge police complaint against culprit rather keep on pressing for the balance amount and threatening to disconnect the line.

              It is absurd that instead of stressing on solving customer grievances, you resort more to the payment of balance amount!!!!!!!
              Instead to go into deep in the matter concerning not only your customers but also you as network provider!!!!!!!!!
              Awaiting your reply in positive and hope you keep the payment of balance amount in abeyance till you investigate the matter thoroughly.

                This Is Zubair Ahmed , I Was Using No- [protected], From Past 1Yr Which I Brought from Locality By Paying 450Rs, then From Past 1Month This SIM Showing Invalid , Then I Visit SM enterprises( Mini Store ) Which Is Located In Bangarpet, Manager Name- Amruth Who Manages total Kolar As His Designation ASM , These Peoples Were Not Responding in the Right Manner With Me. Then Here Store Executive Taken 250rs For Replacement charge , even they Were Not Given SIM To Me . Then Yesterday I Visited To SM Enterprises they Communicate Me That SIM Is Been Churned It Will Not Be Get Back From This City , So they Were Not Giving Proper Responce To The Customer Either ASM Also.....

                So I Am Going To Complaint To Consumer Court In the Next Week can You look Over these Peoples Regarding This Issue If Not It Will Be Come In News Editions Too ...

                  I am Julfiur Rahman from Noida, sector 61.I am working in software company here.I had taken a prepaid connection of vodafone last month and number is [protected] .I do not know how a caller tune is being activated.I did not want it.Now from this month I do not want any caller tune.So, I called customer care on 198.They told me to send a sms CAN CT to 144. I sent it twice or thrice, but till the caller tune is running.When I call them, they tell me it will be ok. But from last 7 days no changes.
                  I have not been able to recharge and talk from my cell for last 7 days.It is too much.I am not satisfied with your customer support.How can you do this to a customer.
                  Seriously I am going to put a complain aginst Vodafone customer care in Consumer Forum, New Delhi.

I don’t under stand at what base do you make bills of your customer If a customer dose not see the bill care full paying you out then it is ok if the saw the bill carefully then they start getting problems . Every time I am using this no. from 5 years and I am getting these troubles from know only way this is happing I make compland to your customer care every month but they are doing the same thing again & again no body is solving my problem . IS THIS THE WAY TO TREAT THE CUSTMER .
                    i hav complaint regarding ur service, u never sought solutions to my repeated complaints regarding d date of supply of my bill at my menioned address...& though i hav a corporate connection, d bills r souring high & high.
                    also, though i havn't on my own activated any caller tunes, u hav charged me a renal for continuous two months.
                    this time i havnt paid ur bill (latest ) bcz of non avaibility of hard copy of d bill.
                    in fact u provide d cheapest services...

                    We have taken connection of vodafone in group, as per detail plan we paid 250/- adv deposit. Since after use we found the bill is 1046.00. in which one time charges is added with other the usage which it is not inform by Vodafone Mr Nishant who taken all the paper at the time is tell that only 250-300 bill will come.

                    Also when we talk more than 25 -30 time to Mr nishant Vodafone how is setting in Vodafone office Bajaj nagar Nagpur. he commited about vaiver to ONE TIME CHRG.
                    he commited the same to me. so we deposit the remaining bill deducting OTC amount.

                    But After that also call coming from pune vodafone regadring not paid full payment and disconnecting mobile while calling to someone.

                      This complaint is in regards to a delay of more than '17 Days' in activating my new postpaid simcard connection and vodafone's ignorance in resolving our consistent complaints. I am highly disappointed to get victimized by this pathetic service from Vodafone and its marketing associate 'Systematic knowledge services Pvt. Ltd' located at Gr. Fl., Radha Silk Mills, 30 P.P. Rd., W.Exp. Highway, Andheri(E), Mumbai-69.

                      On 3rd July 2012 , a firm named Systematic knowledge services Pvt. Ltd. contacted us on behalf of Vodafone to offer us a postpaid sim card with no. 98200XXXXX. We have carried out the formalities, submitted all the documents and paid the charges on 4th July 2012. It has been 17 days we have not received the micro sim card. Since 15 days we have been continuously trying to contact the company representative Mr. Rahul on no. [protected] or [protected], but without success. Our calls and messages are intentionally disconnected, avoided and carelessly diverted causing immense delay.

                      We have already registered this compliant with Vodafone care thrice, with docket no.[protected],[protected] and via email dated 16 July 2012, but unfortunately have not received any response from Vodafone. When we contacted thru telephone on vodafone care, they diverted us to contact vodafone gallery. On which when we contacted Vodafone gallery they diverted our issue by asking us to email on vodafonecare.[protected]@vodafone.com. On this we emailed our complaint to vodafonecare.[protected]@vodafone.com but no one has bothered to answer/ resolve our query.

                      This deliberate negligence from Vodafone and its associate Systematic knowledge services Pvt. Ltd. have caused us loss of time and money by making several complaint calls since past 17 days.

On 8 th march 2012, when i called vodafone for not activating my cell, they told me my signature on application card and PAN card doesnt match, Thefore on 9 th March 2012 i sumbitted all documents to vodafone company authorized agent, after inquiry on 12th march 2012 to voadfone executive told me on my mail id to submitt all documents to nearest vodafone store.

                      On 13th march 2012, whn i went to vodafone ghatkopar (e) customer center with all documets, i e Bank if, ration card, election card, electrcity bill, aadhar card, vodafone store manager didnt accept my documents, they talk with me rudle, i shown them e mail of vodafone, but they didnt listen me.

                      Sir today is 8 days after sumbiting all documets to vodafone, they are not activating my sim connection, thet are not giving reason for not activating connection, Sir i am working with State Bank of India, i cannt receive call from my customer and bank staff.

                        I do have already made a complaint with its full detail for this matter. Here further, I am going to write what is still left to have been written in my very first and already sent complaint.

                        My Landlin number 0515 + 2821307, is not providing to me ONLY the Internet service at all. The full service is fully stopped for the last about twenty-five days. I have made several complaints at all most reliable places, but no employees, has taken any favourable action for this. As a very bad consequences of it, I have got a telephone Bill with its Invoice Number: [protected]. Its full payment for me is very harmfull.

                        This email-messages, I am sending to you by using VODAFONE's Wireless Modem (MICROMAX), not from my already received landline number[protected]. Do please instruct the directly related employee by being very strict. Otherwise, I will have to discard using your Internet service through my already available above written landline.

                        Please get my full landline ensure with the full activation of the already applied internet service with exactly the same and high speed, as I have had to apply for in the past. I have noted that my landlin never provided to me the full internet speed with that much higher level. Do please take it by being very sincere. I is most important for my son. Because, he is trying to send his applications for gaining higher education t many higher level Institutes etc.... He is requirede to send to them also all directly related scanned copies of all his academic qualifications & experiences too. His is not being able to do so.

                            The is effecting health of our children & seniors near by & in the building itself .

                              Request you to tell us How we are going to get this money. I strictly need a Refund on this issue. No new SIM. No more Vodafone...!!!

                              On Tuesday, Verification was done. Later in the noon call came from Vodafone that the number which we had given earlier is not available with them. Thus we requested, if not return back the money.

                              Till date no one responded on the same. We are calling up-frontally on their numbers. But neither the Verification Team is also not picking the calls for the complaints.

                              This is an best example how a customer is being treated by Vodafone.

                              Treat this an urgent. As if I am not getting the said number. Request you to cancelled the same & return back the money. I can't chase more to Vodafone on daily basis.

                              If I don't get refund for the same, I need to change my current services from Vodafone to Other Service providers.

                              Dear All,

                              Can't understand, If this is the way every genuine customer is being treated at Vodafone. Then we should "STOP USING" VODAFONE Service Providers.

                              Till date the complaints is Open for Refund. All Customer Service are just giving fake remarks.

                              I can understand that there is a process for the same. But How long a customer should chase for the Refund. Does this means that Customer should always follow for the same. Why can't your Customer Service confirm the status for the Refund.

                              I need to change my current plan of Vodafone too.

                              Also request you to check my "Payment Cycle" for [protected]. Did I ever miss my payments. Ever I had any delay payments. If this how such customers are being suffered from your customer services then how better services we would get in near future.

                                I have been using Vodafone Corporate Post Paid number in Delhi/NCR. There is a freaky service offered by Vodafone once you

                                activtae GPRS on any of the smartphone they activate the Vodafone LIVE service by default!!!

                                Which is a useless service to provide senseless information on screen(i.e stupid quizes, promotional offers etc ettc), without the

                                consent of the customer. One click on any of such on screen SMS & customer SHELL out 3 rupees!! This application is full of

                                bugs, on many phones it does not leave any option except to click on SMS without your choice & loosa 3 rupees.

                                Upon contacting customer care they say, this service is activated by me not from system. They don't have any details when such

                                service was satrted on my number. But at the same time they have details when did i de activated this service!!! STRANGE!!!!!!!!!

                                On email they bluntly reply by copy pasting the same reply over & over, without reading what I mentioned in email.

                                Escalated to Nodel offer, NO RESPONSE.

                                Escalated to Appelette authoirty, NO REPONSE.

                                Yesterday I had sent 11th reminder to Appelette authority, so far there is no response!!!

                                This is not the matter of 30rupees, which Vodafobne forced me to SHELL OUT, while playing their CHEAP TRICKS!!!! Their

                                customer care is pathetic & lack common sense...........they dont know when the service was activated by me, but are well aware

                                when it was deactivated.....OR THEY DONT WANT TO DISCLOSE......

                                Above all they had not shared any complaint number so far........Can anyone tell me how to approach TRAI/DOT to persue it

                                further, because now its not about 30Rs, I just want to teach them a LESSON...... Not to play with the sentiments of customer &

                                no to waste their time & money................just to cover up their incapabilities....

                                  HAPPY NOT TO HELP. I think this is correct quote for me. I am from Hyderabad and my Vodafone mobile no. is [protected]. I am facing specific problem that GPRS data is not transmitting through tower near to my home but I am able to use GPRS data services in all Hyderabad since 04 July 2012. I made several complains to cc but they have not taken any pain to rectify this problem, but one thing I have noticed that now i am not able to make any call to 111 or 198 to contact them at least they have done something. My data pack also finished today without using it since 04 July. After contacting vodafonecare.[protected]@vodafone.com still my problem is unattended, unresolved and unsolved. I request you to please now rectify this problem if it is possible as already 14 days have passed.

                                        Earlier it was aircel.
                                        1st of all vodafone took 10 days for porting,now its ported
                                        but
                                        now my old(aircel) and new sim ( vodafone) both r not working..
                                        Hats off for vodafone.. .
                                        What a great company....which always harass its customers...
