HI ,

I was a vodafone customer since years.

Recently , i got a smart phone and i was not aware of data usage billing process.
My tariff had 2GB free and 10ps/10kb after 2gb is crossed.
I had credit limit of only 6000.

Then my calls were barred saying my credit limit has reached and they sent a big bill of Rs.10,800 saying i used till 3GB.

How can they keep my credit limit as 6000 and allow me to bill till 10,800rs.??

I have been getting calls that i will recieve legal notice if I do not pay and i was very disturbed as no vodafone cutomer care answered my queries properly.

I finally paid 10,800rs to vodafone and switched to Airtel.

My vodafone number was [protected].

I request you to please look into this complaint and help me get back my money from vodafone.
My credit limit is 6000rs which means maximum for a month i would pay vodafone Rs.6000.
BUt they have taken Rs,10,800 from me which is truly wrong from there end.

I am shocked myself that i had to pay 10,800 for one month o[censored]sage and i badly need your help.

I will wait for your response.

Please be informed that the credit limit is only for the monthly rental charges. We do not interrupt calls, SMS and data usage services based on the credit limit.

    but still my number it has not migrated from prepaid to postpaid
    this is a pathetic services by vodafone kindly get migrated my sim to postpaid
    i have been frustrated about your services

      On the 11th of Aug 2012 my internet scheme of 2GB of vodafone stood deactivated because 1 month had passed. Instead of sending me a message, informing me about end of due date of the scheme, the scheme continued without auto-renewal or any msg informing me of the de-activation & my entire prepaid balance of 448 was ripped off. The next day I get a msg that your balance is -93.75 so please recharge quickly. When I call the customer care & ask them why was it not informed to me that the scheme was about to end as it is a normal part of their responsibility, I didn't get a suitable reply. I also asked them to specify the time duration between which the balance was deducted as I had soon activated the internet plan as soon as i got their message. In reply they say, they don't have a system that can tell them that & so they wouldn't give me a clarity on that either. When I asked them to transfer the call to a senior, they ask me to call in the morning. I mean, one just cannot rip off the entire balance without informing me n i might have some 15 schemes active on my phone simultaneously. So does it mean i have to keep a record of all these schemes myself or ill just give an opportunity to these guys to eat away my entire balance without notice. I need a sensible reply from these people for taking away my entire balance without informing me. This is completely unacceptable & if I dont get to know the details I'm sure to change my service provider n never recommendvodafone for that matter.

        This time it did it again and deducted 30/- from my father's account.

            I purchased vodafone sim(sim number:[protected] & mo number:- [protected]) from authorized vodafone mini store, after submitting all required documents. Sim was activated with in 2 days. Later on sim was blocked for want of re-submission of the documents which were immediately submitted (also mail confirmation provided by vodafone). The sim was activated. But after 10 days again the sim was blocked. On inquiry it was informed that there is some mistake committed by the dealer in online submission of my information at his end. Again on inquiry it was activated. But after 7 days it was again blocked and I am told that this mistake has happened due to some software problem at companies end and they are showing their inability to unblocked the sim. I have circulated this vodafone cell number to various clients and also balance amount is line as a credit balance. Since I am not getting any response from vodafone, there is deficiency in there services, therefore please take up the matter with the company to resolve my problem.

                Respected sir,As i am retailer of vodafone since, last 10yrs.I requested all of my seniors of Azamgarh vodafone officials to map my 2 mobile no(a:-[protected],b:-[protected]). to my nearest A.D.point,but non of the autherised officials are interested on it.They are attaching me to the AD point which is 22Kms away from my shop &hence they are unable to provide me services,because of which i am suffering huge loss because of non-activation & balance transfer.So,I very kindly request to the Nodal officials to please solve my problem.                   I activated 3g internet service on my vodafone prepaid number ([protected]) about 6 days ago. Since the time of activation i am receiving crawling speed. They claims to offer 14 to 21 mbps speed while i am receiving a surfing speed of just 115 kbps and maximum downloading speed of maximum 15 kbps (Best case). I am not even able to surf well. Even a simple web page takes hell lot of time to get loaded. G-mail features like chat etc doesn't even works fine. I reported it immediately and kept on reporting about the same repeatedly. Every time the call connects to post-paid department by default then they transfer it to pre-paid department where after asking thorough explanation they further forward it to a technical team which again after asking detailed explanation confirms your settings and then says it should be a network issue and says that we will transfer your call to network team where every-time they keep on saying that your area is experiencing some technical issues and we will resolve it soon. Most of the time the call disconnects in between the transfer of calls from one team to another or anyways i have to suffer a lot due to call hold (Terribally long holds). I am literally frustrated by vodafone's customer care department and do not think that vodafone is "happy to help" at all! Rather vodafone is "happy to cheat & trouble" thier customers. One of customer care executive "vishal" deliberately disconnected my call. Which is very feckless and annoying. Their executives do not even agree forward my call to their senior or provide me nodal officer's number. Its been 6 days the problem is still not resolved and neither they are agreeing to refund my money that they charged me for 3g. At this point vodafone is charging me for 3g and i don't even feel that i am receiving even 2g worth speed. I felt cheated and repenting on opting vodafone services! I am now planning to sue vodafone and i will port my number to some other service provider very soon.

                        Hello All ,

                        2 Days ago I have activated caller-tune service on my prepaid phone ,I select a Caller tune from vodafone website and the company activated the same accordingly. But when anyone call me, he/she heard a short ADVERTISEMENT OF Vodafone and then start the Caller tune. ........I was shocked to listen vodafone's adv or prompt whatever for good 8-9 seconds...... I've activated caller tune for a monthly rental of Rs.30/- and song selection charge of Rs.15/-
                        Unless you are busy or commuting in a crowded place , You would pick-up the phone in that time frame.
                        You shudn't be putting ads in it because its not a free service. You are charging monthly rental for it.Cheap .

                        Remove this advt. otherwise I'll take action so that "the provider withdraw such type of advertisement before the caller tune".

                        Cheap stuff from Vodafone, disgraceful.

                          Not receiving sms from bank

                          As all people are aware of that there is ban on sms service from prepaid mobile in jammu and kashmir, due to that reason i have purchased a vodafone postpaid number [protected] in feb months.

                          Even today with this vodafone postpaid number my problem is not solved. I am not getting sms of bank transactions, dishtv, oxigen services india etc. Etc.

                          From the month of march i hav complained many times every time they...

                          I have submitted my complaint[protected] on -date- I purchase New nokia Lumia 800 29-may-2012 IMEI;[protected] &vodafone number [protected] I have called there 10 times&3 time mail but they don't want to give me any status for my free 3G 2GB Pack. so I last request to vodafone urgently free 3G Pack activate This is unfair with me.                             hi m from Mangalore and m using Vodafone from past many years...but there is no call conference service in Karnataka...every time i call vodafone help line they all say this service is not available in vodafone and will inform you when its aviliable.... but in every other connection there is call conference service..i really wanna know that call conference service gonna come in vodafone or NOT ??

                              We have ONLY cheaters in this land-of saints and culturally-forward nation.

                              I have today received a data bill of Rs 7114/- from Vodafone. My usage never exceeds 3 GB in a month. My maximum data bill has never exceeded Rs 947/-. This is the first time in my life that I am receiving such a bill. I thought it is my credit limit! Checking the August itemised bill and my itemised usage logs available on my data-SIM shows a large difference.

                              My data-SIM usage log shows 2.16 GB usage which is well within the free limit of 3 GB I am allowed in a month. I will take help of Dhaval Valia who had taken Vodafone to task some months ago publicly.

                              Therefore, buyer beware. This is a country where cheaters can be found wholesale. Vodafone o[censored]K has once again found a fertile soil to set up business and practise cheating gullible customers. Law and Disorder is the Order of everyday. Institutions don't give a damn to law or ethics. Therefore, keep your eyes and ears open. It is a best policy to always opt for PRE-PAID rather than POST-PAID. You remain in control of costs. Else Vodafone ki jay aur apki sazaa. Happy to Help! Power to You! Bull-!!

                              Vodafone — Beware Vodafone cheating

                              Vodafone is desperate and try to cheat customers by sending wrong message. They sent SMS stating "Mega GPRS Pack. Enjoy FREE Browsing upto 2GB on Vodafone live and WWW for 30 days. Dial *121*98# to activate now. Dial *131*98# to check your balance usage". This is not FREE. If you activate it, they will deduct Rs.98/- from your account. Beware. They are desperate to generate business so they are enticing customers to opt for their packages by giving FALSE messages.

                                I am using vodafone postpaid mobile connection. And my number is [protected]. I was said that there are no roaming charges for Maharashtra and Goa. But still they charged me roaming charges in maharashtra. I enquired it and they said me they charge roaming outside mumbai and if i don't want this to be charged i have to activate happy to roam. As per vodafone instructions i paid my bill and went to kharghar vodafone gallery to activate happy to roam. I gave my request to Mr. Pradeep to activate my happy to roam. Further i didn't knew whether he activated or not. But in next month again i had roaming charges in my bill. Again I called customer care and they replied me my happy to roam was deactivated by some of their employee and they will investigate it. But not for any of my mistake i had to pay roaming charges again. Now this is last time and now on if i see roaming charges in my bill I will directly switch to some other network. But i don't get this why they charge us roaming charges even if we are in kalyan or panvel.

                                  I am Vikram from Oracle India. I belong to Delhi.
                                  I bought Vodafone SIM on Jan-10-2008 under corporate scheme (Rs. 444 monthly rental).
                                  I was told that it would be activated in 24 hours.. But now its been 5th day and my phone has not yet been activated. I have been constantly in touch with the marketing people who gave me the Vodafone SIM card, but they are doing nothing except making fake promises to me.

                                  My SIM Number is : [protected].

                                  Details of marketing executives who gave me the SIM card are as follows:

                                  Mr. Irshad/Sonu : [protected]
                                  Mr. Sonu : [protected]

                                  It is requested to pass on my complaint to higher authorities so that they know that Vodafone is not providing appropriate service (atleast in Delhi circle)

                                  myself yaikhom milan singh ,my master no.[protected] ,i bought a new number
                                  on 5 th of sept.2009 .the person who was offering me this
                                  package were giving wrong information to me. she was saying i will get 10%
                                  discount on my master no ie [protected] ,but when i got my bill today ie
                                  31-10-09 .i was no getting the discount and i had spoken to customer care
                                  department ,he is supervisor on the floor , he was telling me i will get discount in my 3rd bill . i was so disappointed when i see my bill.
                                  My sim no.is [protected]. I am officer in Govt of India .and now days i have posted in Jaipur. Before taken of Sim i deposited my all document to dealer which mobile no.[protected] name is Chandrabhan .My mobile 2 days run and VODAPHONE stop that connection. I again made contact to VODAPHONE STORE which is located at the Mansrowar, Jaipur and where as VODAPHONE STORE person direction i have submitted again a set of complete record deposited. The name of that person of VODAPHONE STORE is Mr. Nand kishore, which mobile no is[protected].So many request made by me to start the connection. My sim start and VODAPHONE again stoped. I went again the VODAPHONE STORE and ask about my connection. They replied this is my computer problem. and connection again start. .After3 days again VODAPHONE stop my connection. I can not understand why I am facing this problem’s. My SIM stopped by VODAPHONE five time. AS this time VODAPHONE stopped my connection .Why?
                                  I want to buy a handset for myself.So ,I went to a mobile shop.I found vodafone offering free internet usage for purchasing Nokia E5 handset.So,I buy Nokia E5 handset from that shop.

                                  But after that I informed vodafone to activate free internet in my mobile as a offer.
                                  But till now I am not getting any response from that company.

                                  This offer also mentioned on NOKIA E5 phone packet.

                                  I already mailed it to VODAFONE KOLKATA.But I have not received any reply mail from them.

                                  Conclusion is, Don't Belive VODAFONE and Their Offer.
                                  Reason : They are not kept their promises.

                                    Be careful of changing your 3G plan on Vodafone, coz high chances you will get cheated and response from Vodafone would be - 'It's our 3G policy' :P

                                    Mail response from Vodafone -
                                    "We would like to inform you that the as per the revised process the 3G plan is charged on the fixed rental basis, you will be charged fixed rental for the entire month even if you use the service for a single day.

                                    You have been charged Rs 250 + Rs. 375= Rs. 625 for the month of Aug in the bill dated 03/08/12.we regret we would not be able to reverse the charges levied for the 3G rental that is correctly charged on fixed rental basis."

                                      Its my 4th complaint here , i want strict action...
                                      33 days passed but still my sim is not activated from vodafone after porting into vodafone from aircel.
                                      No- [protected].
                                      Its my 4th complaint and still no resolution.. vodafone is damn stubborn, but so am i....
                                      If i call thm thy want ID etc, and keep on asking to visit their outlet..bt i already have given each n every document..y again??
                                      vodafone is harassing me like anything.
                                      I want my sim activated now. This is really very dumb response of vodafone. I regret for porting into vodafone.pls help me consumer court plssss... Don't let d vodafone company go like ths.. I have purchased tht number so its mine, not vodafone's, i think.
