Dear Sir,
I have a post paid conncetion in my name with Vodafone with no. [protected]. The credit limit of this no. is Rs 6000/- which was fixed by you after my consent when I took the connection on…...For my foreign travel in….I called your customer executive for activation ofinternational roaming pack. I told your customer care executive about my travel plan.
2. Your customer care executive offered me 5999/- pack which is valid for 28 days. I asked him is the plan unlimited. He said no and suggested me to activate 3999/- for 10 days which has unlimited calls and data pack available for the same.
3.I asked him I am travelling for 15 days, so how would I manage to take 10 days plan, then he said you can activate same plan twice 3999/- after 10 days for next 5 days.
4.I requested to activate plan for 14th June. And he that he took my request for to activate my plan from mytravel date, 14th June.
5.Due to some issues in Turkish airline. I had to travel on 13th June. So I called Customer care again and asked customer care executive to activate my plan from 13th June itself. He informed that as your plan is already activated for 14th June. We have to deactivate first and after half an hour you can call again and get the plan activated again. I did the same and my plan got activatedform 13th June 2019.
6.After 2 days on…. When I was in France my services were barred by you. I was neither able to make or receive calls nor use data network anywhere. You people cannot image how harassed and insecure I felt without a working phone in a foreign land where I had no other means for communication with any one and where language was a big problem. I was travelling with my sister and was not able to communicate with her or contact my family in India and vice Versa.
6.1You have really spoilt my vacation. As while I was there but I could not relaxed. Every second I was feelinginsecure with a fear or getting lost or separated from my sister. Once I got seoerated from my sister neither could I contact her nor my sister could contact me as my incoming was also barred.
6.2I have been extremely harassed by VODAFONE. And still I am being harassed as outgoing from my phone has been stopped by you unilaterally without my permission. And without even informing me. My work is getting hindered and I am under extreme mental trauma.
7.On returning back to India I was informed by your Customer care executive that my bill had reached Rs… on my second day of travel itself, hence my connection was barred. It was surprising that when I had a unlimited plan how could there be bill and that too so high. More over my credit limit was Rs 6000/- so in any case the bill could not exceed Rs 6000/-. Your customer care executive informed me that the company had suo moto, without informing me of seeking my consent, enhanced my credit limit to Rs 30, 000/-.
8.Your customer care executive also informed me that the 3999 plan activated on my phone did not cover Monaco city, though it is a part of France, and i have been charged for the internet usage in that city with this huge amount. If there were issues with the network in that particular city, how am I to know your internal arrangement, I should have been informed beforehandabout it, at the time of opting for this plan.
9.My sister who was travelling with me had a Airtel connection and she had activated “IR pack” for the same countries I have mentioned earlier. But she didn’t get any trouble. She has not been charged extra & even not harassed like me.
10I am will be paying for the monthly rental and the the additional roaming pack for which i opted for, nothing more than that. I want this issue to be resolved asap and i will clear the above stated amount as soon as you give me a confirmation on the same and resume my connection. Failing which I will be forced to take further action for your arbitrary act of :
(i) Barring my connection and blocking incoming and outgoing calls on my number on the second day of my travel in a foreign land against a validity of tendays.
(ii) Suo Moto increasing my credit limit.
(iii) Showing unrealistic and arbitrary due against me.
(iiii) Continuing to block outgoing calls on my phone even now as on date.
11. Please consider this as my last communication before I move against you to claim damages from your company for unilaterally blocking calls on my number and causing me mental agony and trying to extort money from me.
PS: I am expecting best possible solution from your side and ready to pay genuine bill which is due to me, failing which I sahall be forced to take up the matter on CPGRAMS and or TCCMS etc.
