We are using You Broadband for the internet in Vastrapur area of Ahmedabad, Gujarat. We have been using it for 4 months now, starting from June 2015, and currently 4th month is running. For the first 3 months, we had 2Mbps o[censored]nlimited plan. Since, we are 4 heavy users, we have switched to and upgraded to 4Mbps unlimited plan.
According to You Broadband, they provided speed "up to" the taken plan. So, if it's 2Mbps, they provide speed up to 2Mbps, and in rarest of the rare cases, exactly 2Mbps, but that's just for a second or two. Now, we have a 4Mbps unlimited plan. So, speed they provide is up to 4Mbps.
Now the issue is, we get a very good speed of "up to" 4Mbps during day time. But, after 6pm, the speed is so poor that 2G data looks faster in front of 4Mbps of broadband connection. This problem lasts till late midnight, till 2am to 3am. This is the problem that we are facing since more than a month now. We have been complaining about it regularly. But, all we get on the next day of complain is, "Your issue has been resolved." When we complain on a call (by calling customer care), they say, "Our technicians work till 5pm and they check speed before 5pm." We always make point of making them write in the issue description that we face problem after 6pm, but they never check after 6pm because it's not their working time. Last 5-7 complaints have been automatically resolved by them the very next day. But actually, in real life, the issue is not yet resolved.
So, the problem here is, they resolve the issue "automatically" at their whims and we have to call every other day for registering the new complaint.
We have paid for 3 months in advanced and in return all we get is the speed of hardly 1Mbps for the plan of 4Mbps. This is very frustrating, because we all are professionals working in an IT and Consultancy fields, so need of internet is high once we come back from the work, to research more, to learn more and for the other freelance work. When we cannot get what we have paid for, it doesn't make any sense.
Please find attached screenshot of the Speed. The ISP is You Broadband and the server on which we tested the speed is hosted by You Broadband itself. Still, the speed is poorer than poor.
