This is with respect to an unfortunate incident where I took a YouTelecom connection in Koperkhairane, Navi Mumbai, where no big telecom players are there. The entire details are mentioned below:

Plan - 512 kbps, Type - Unlimited
As per TRAI Norms, YOU Telecom has to sustain/maintain minimum 80% of the speed Promised. But I seriously beg to differ. Eversince the activation, this has been a rarity, the speed provided is not even 1%. i.e. less than 5.12 KBPS. I have attached screenshots for the same.
When the connection was given, nobody mentioned about dual slot, false promises were made then by ankush kadlak (sales chap) about the speed, he confessed that in front of me & C.Sabarish, the incumbent/Inefficient/Ineffective/Rude/Lousy/Irresponsible/ Appellate Officer, YouTelecom,Navi Mumbai, atleast in my case, cant say about others.
All he mentioned was 1/8 of the plan i.e. 64kbps.
Then when i put a complaint about getting speed as low as in bytes, one buffoon from surat said start 10 downloads and then calculate whether it is 64Kbps. What the Hell is that
I sent mails after mails thereafter and still unable to get a response from them, not a single one so far.
I have ventured through the TRAI Guidelines and I find the following Issues serious enough from consumer perspective with You Telecom...
1. Tariff related issues:
• Presenting, marketing or offering tariff plan in any misleading manner is not permitted. All monthly fixed recurring charges which are compulsory for the subscriber under any given plan shall be conveyed as a single figure under one head.
*I have been cheated in this regard, not once I have received full bandwidth speed, not once 80% of the promised and I have screenshots from May onwards depicting that*
2. • The Service Providers must inform the customer in writing, within a week of activation of service, the complete details of his tariff plan. In addition, as and when there are any changes in any aspect/item of tariff in the chosen package, the operator shall intimate, in writing, such changes to those subscribers whose tariff packages undergo a change.
*I have not received any such thing in writing, I even mailed C.Sabarish for the same, ask him to give in writing the speed that he promises, till date no response received *
3. Rebate in rent for delays in repair of fault:
In case any fault in respect of fixed line is not repaired within 3 days rebates in rent should be given as follows:
• Faults pending for >3 days and <7 days: Rent rebate for 7 days.
• Faults pending for >7 days and <15 days: Rent rebate for 15 days.
• Faults pending for >15 days: rent rebate for 1 month.
** I have an issue pending with Youtelecom Customer care for the last 5 months, With Appeallate officer for the last 4.5 months, no fruitful resolution provided till date. when I had asked for the same, C.Sabrish said my usage was 7GB in 15 days.. a report he said he will send to me but not yet sent, also if the network speed is less than 4kbps then how can they say such ridiculus thing , that too in an unlimited package..*
4. The security deposit after adjustment of dues, if any, is required to be refunded to subscribers within a time frame of 60 (sixty) days. The service provider has also to pay an interest @ 10% per annum for any delay in making refund within the stipulated period.
**within 4 days of activation, I had called You Customer care and asked them for cancellation, they said only modem security will be paid back and nothing else. When I said that I have been cheated and I am unable to browse properly, leave apart using the net, and since the internet was sold on false promises, C. Sabarish once again said my usage is this and that which he forgot to corraborate with facts like sending the requested report. A request for sending such report is still pending with You Telecom Customer care.**
5. On contacting his then superior, Mr. Ish Anand, I was assured that either the issue will be resolved or appropriate refund will be given....Once again false promises, they neither leave things, nor work, they just go to a dance bar and have fun with my hard earned money...MC's
A list of all the people who have worked on my case are Mr. Manoj(Operations manager), Ish Anand(Former Employee and Mumbai zone Appellate Officer), Rakesh, Ankush Kadlak, Subhash Kumar(Current Mumbai Appellate Officer, whom I called on a saturday and he assured me the issue will be resolved by monday and exactly One month later on a monday I reminded him that four of my monday's have gone, Urs havent arrived yet), Sukanta (backend guy and the only one who helped seriously and sincerely but no result, probably held by top brass who thought making free money from me is easier)
6. Even after all this I am not supposed to lose cool, even though YOUTELECOM has cheated me for 6 months I am supposed to sit quiet and not say anything or shout at anyone. This is C. Sabarish's theory..My answer to that is Stuf[censored]r theory in ur A***
A mail in this regard as well was sent to all Appellate officers in Youtelecom, not one replied and not one ever thought of making a call and confirming whether the issue is resolved or not
If at all there is LAW for consumers and If at all there is Justice in India, then license for this organization should be immediately revoked and should not be re-issued till all the complaints posted here are taken care of and an undertaking by the organization is given in writing to every customer that they will both maintain the promised service and professional decorum([censored]in they all lack this)

You Broadband & Cable India Ltd. — No Internet connection irrespective of complaint
Myself, Niladri Kar from Diwalipura, O.P.Road, Baroda with my userid to the said service as "nsk10". I had registered a complain for my Modem not working 21st Feb, which took almost around 20 days to resolve the problem after atleast 5 more complain about the same problem. As soon as my problem was fixed up, again the same problem started on 17th March and I had to register a complain to the cusstomer care executive abou this. It wasn't resolved till 21st March and I made 2nd call to the executive with my complain no as:[protected]. They promised me once again to resolve the problem in next 24 hrs, but it has been almost 48 hrs, that no one has even bothered to call me back from their side regarding the problem.
