Hello there!

I am really not getting, if you guys can't fulfill customers need then why you have this app called "zomato".
I have placed the order and then i got charged from my card & also got confirmation from subway that my order has accepted and i had wait till 40 minutes and then i got another message that "subway has declined your order" and i was like completely shocked. I was so hungry and i called to subway and asked them that if you wanted to decline then atleast decline it at the beginning of the order. They said we have never accepted your order and if you have any issue then talk to zomato not us.

Unfortunately there is no toll free number for zomato so i have started chatting with the support and it was like they are very much familiar with this type of situations/issues and they took my case very casually and i was completely shocked/annoying because i was super hungry. I told them that atleast provide me any alternative because i am very much hungry and my nearby market get closed and there is no way for food then still they are like we can't help you and you will get your money back within 5-6 working days...

This was the biggest joke i have ever hear because suppose if at that time i have only 80 rupees in my pocket then how i will eat for tonight because i have already given this to zomato and they will send me refund in 5-6 days..

They are not even responsible for alternative and talking me like a #.. I am really don't know why this type of app are into the market.

I was hungry from whole day and thought once i will reach to my home then will order something and take a good sleep but it seems like its not in my favour.

Its harassing me and i am so much frustrated right now.. I need solution for this.

Hello Sir/Madam,

I didn't get any resolution from the Zomato. They told me that they will get back to me and now onwards there will be no mistake happen from our side but after this incident I have ordered food from this app again and then same thing happened again.
I really need a strict action against this because people are getting irritated with this.

Zomato team is saying that they have not received any mail or message from consumer forum yet so I wanted to know have you guys sent them anything in written over email or something?

I really don't know to whom I can complaint about this issue because zomato is very big brand and no one will support me on this so I thought I should go ahead and compliant about this on consumer forum. Because I am sure for you, everyone is equal.

Looking forward for your kind cooperation.

    Hi zomato,

    I placed an order [protected] 24th june 2018 at 11:55 pm. I recived a message saying that it is delivered but the order has never came to me. I tried mutiple ways to reach customer service and found that there is only way available is to chat. I tried to chat but did not get any response. However when i kept sending some message a representative responded once and never replied after that.
    What a poor customer service is this? A customer can't complaint about his issue and customer service has only chat as way to be reached which doesn't respons.
    I will put this everywhere. I want money back now. I have paid for nothing that i got.

    I made order from Zomato on 21st June -18. To Kabir restaurant I tried 3 times and my all three transaction executed and dedication from my bank account still I am not getting refund in my bank account
    Kindly look in to this concern and resolve asap. Revert awaiting...

      Om 15th june i ordered some food from zomato with amount of 310 rs...& at the same time amount was deducted from my account however order was not placed from zomato 1st.2nd issue when i called to the restaurant no. They said yoyr order has been dispatchee you will receive within half an hour however iwas waiting till 2 am for my order. 3rd issue finally i called at customer care to know the status of my order then they said you order was cancelled due to transaction error, however i didn't get any msg from zomato for such error or either from bank as well, i only receive the msg from bank for 310 rs debited from your account...4th issue then later i interacted with social media executive she's name ina sje has comitted that your refund will be processed within 5-7 days however it was not refunded and even no getting any call or confirmation from zomato...5th issue and then i tweet on twitter for my issue then i got a call from another exective vishal mehta... He said your refund was not processes due to we haven't received your payment from bank so for that please share your bank statement so that we can verify and initate your refund... I said ok i will email you of my bank statement... Bank syatement was not asked proactively it was asked when i tweet on social media...6tb issue after sending all the screen shots of debit transactions and bank statement again i received the call from zomato (Executive name-ina) she saying your amount will not be refunded..in that you may contact with your bank... After 8 days giving all debit transaction statement proof.. Still not getting solution.

      1) wrong comittment (Your order has been dispatched however there was no order placed ftom zomato/
      2) no notification received when order was camcelled due to amount not rec from bank.
      3) wrong comittment given by ina (Your amount will be refunded 5-7 days without checking anything)
      4) unecessary asked document by vishal mehta (If you do not have solution of customer complaint)
      5) my only issue why they asked my to wait 5-7 days if they know already that amount will not be refunded & later they asked me for the documents.. What was the requirement of doc. If later said you may cont with bank.
      7) they have wasted 8 days without any logic.

        Hi team,
        Once again i am facing same issue — did not receive order... Amount was full and payment done from card, still refunded to zomato account instead of my bank account inspite of agreement of zomato employee moreover the amount refunded is less than the bill amount.

        This is really disgusting... As if dealing with so unprofessionals.

        Now this is so disturbing n rediculous...

        I placed two orders consecutively for burger king from zomato

        First order was:

        Tax=36.30
        Delivery charges=30
        Total=183.30

        Date june, 22, 2018 at 9:42pm
        Payment=using wallet

        Add on fries! : medium fries
        1* 119= ₹119

        Crispy veg:
        1*39= ₹39
        Tax: 38.35
        Delivery charges=₹30
        Total= ₹226.35

        Payment: using card

        Date: june 22, 2018 at 9:49pm

        Which i did not — did not receive.

        So refund should be in my bank account only also for which zomato employee agreed on chat support.

        So refund my cash ₹226.35 asap in my hadfc bank card account.

            Not getting solution even after submitting all the documents

            Order Delivery Status; Had to pick up the order by myself after One and half hours of order not being delivered by your Rider.

            I want the entire order amount to be refunded as the order was never delivered by zomato.

              Hi,

              Please be advised when ever i order the food from zomato the delivery is always late. I purchased the gold membership by paying extra so that i can receive the order quickly. But, the situation remains the same, i have requested to rectify the same but it never happened. I asked for refund even my order is not delivered, there reply was wait for 15-20 minutes more even after waiting 60 minutes. I asked for a supervisor and the reply was we don't have a supervisor in the shift. Really pathetic customer service

                Hi zotmato team,

                I have order the lunch from taj mahal delite restaurant but it is delivered from the cheap restaurant which is located in secunderabad.

                It is not correct from zomato company side to play this kind of business tricks.

                No customer number/toll free number is working of zomato. I need to take this issue into public awareness through social media.

                Very very very bad... Zomato.

                  I ordered from zomato today at 12:00 noon but they didn’t delivered the order after my repeated request and after 1hr. I request them for full refund as it’s too late but they insisted me to get the order delivered & they will do the needful after delivering the order after 1 & half hour they delivered totally spoiled food & when i contacted them they immediately change & didnt refund the amount. They are harassing us & chested is with our hard earned money.

                  So i request you to kindly look into the matter & do the needful accordingly.

                    My order is delivered somewhere else and the delivery boy not picking up my calls and the i go on zomato chat and the person was just apologising and after sometime he also not responded to my messages and there is no customer care number zomato when i search on google i got some but they were not working all and all it is the mistake of the delivery boy but zomato should have the protective measures for these kind of problems

                      I have ordered from zomato app on june 23rd around 8:15pm and paid the amount of rs 326.25. The mode of payment used was mobikwik.
                      Money deducted from mobikwik & i received acknowledgment from mobikwik but zomato said we haven't received the paymeny. I have the order number from mobikwik which can be used to track all this ztd-18-4286e7218788d.
                      So please help me get my refund back.

                        We have order pizza from bandra street via order no [protected] dated 23/06/2018 devilvery guy name sandeep.. We have received pizza in very bad condition its really that bad we can not eat. Now both are playing blame game for deliviring of food.. Seriouly this way both are fooling the customer and earing the money.. Its such cheap way to earn money frim us? And keep us hungry? I need to raise a police complian also for this if it is possible aginst the zomoto and bandra street for breaking bunch of code of conduct.

                          This is a serious concern/issue that zomato need to address on priority.

                          I rakesh kumar, oreded the food at zomato today at 8:58pm. The order[protected], was one biryani and manchuriya from santosh dhaba resto of rupees 157.
                          The time is 12:30pm now that i dint receive my ordered food.

                          It was mohd shoeb khan abdul his phone number is [protected], was supposed to deliver food at my home.

                          I called him initially he replied i will be the with food by 10min.
                          Later i called he replayed he will be reching me shortly.
                          At 9:50 approx i called him, he replayed he forgot to bring your food from restaurants he will be bring it shortly.

                          At around 10:20pm he replied same same saying will reach shortly.

                          I waited with full of hunger. I was literally felt so bad and got frustrated because md shoeb dint pick my call then after.

                          I logged into my zomato portal and raised a complaint that order not received. It was manish or some mishra i dint remember he called me asking my problem, i told him the same story.
                          He said he would call back some time later on this.

                          I accepted and waited with hunger, i was i pothetic situation where i dont know that do u need to wait for my order do do i need to reach to my nearest hotel to have my food. The guy called me saying that he contacted santhosh dhaba and confirm ed that my order is picked from there by md shoeb, he also said that it is shoeb first day at zomato.
                          He also apologized and said it my order will be reaching me at any time.

                          Now the time is 12:30pm, that is its been its been around 4hrs i dint receive my order yet. I am hungry now i will sleep without having food today.

                          I am making it clear today that will escalate this issue with my nearest police station, if i dint receive any responce by tommarow morning. I will reach out to higher level because me and my brother dint had my food because of you zomato guys. You will have to face consequences if you dont respond even now.

                            Placed 2 orders on zomato yesterday night. One of the orders was missing an item and initially the customer care executive told that the delivery guy will go back and collect the other item. After a while he realised he changed the tone completely and said it’s not our fault so we can’t do anything. I got one side dish and the main dish never came. After one hour of chat no resolution.. the other order also came in one hour late and was all cold. In all I had no dinner yesterday thanks to zomato.. and they have taken my money also..

                            Swiggy is way better. They respond promptly and refund quickly if they are not able to serve.

                              My order i'd is [protected], which was placed on 22 june at 02:20 pm and the order was supposed to be delivered at 03:03 p. M. But it was delivered at 03:54, i need a refund for the amount.
                              At 03:18, i got a call from the delivery boy saying that i'm near your house and when i asked him where was he, he said that don't call me again before 20 minutes as it will take time.
                              After repeated efforts, the food was delivered cold and 50 minutes late.

                                Hello i ordered some food from zomato yesterday. But the food was delayed and all the products like cold coffee become normal coffee, sandwiches were like they were the leftovers, momos were cold.
                                So when i said these all things to zomato they just repeated one thing that they can't do anything and they are sorry what about my hard earned money. Does it means nothing to them.

                                  We have ordered food for inr 207.00 through zomato in mud pot restaurant, coimbatore. The order was rejected once after the payment was done.

                                  The amount was not refunded to our account yet. Even though we tried contacting zomato many times we haven't got proper response.

                                  Kindly take the necessary action.

                                  I have placed an order for which i received a call from delivery boy for confirming address but its been 40 min I haven't received any delivery even on the app my order is showing been delivered.
                                  What about the money which I have paid without receiving my order. Its really shame full
                                  I did not get my order till now and i'm waiting form last 3hr

                                  The offer of the day states no delivery charges but I was charged the delivery charges for the food, I do not understand why I had been charged.rs 54 for both the orders today i.e 14th june, from Bunt bryyani palace and Srikrishna sagar please reimburse back excess charged money or adjust in next order.

                                  I order 4 Nov from nalin Chandra das &sons . They given offer . In offer they provide two sweet in 29each.but purchase on minimum number 5. I purchased but quantity was sweet to much less which was not a real size. If they can't give same proposal so why make deal. The restaurant fruad with customer. Plz takes some step and refund my money . I send pic in my zomato account.y No is [protected]

                                    I have ordered through zomato app on june 04 2018 and paid in advance at nearly 8pm. But i received an wrong food and that too with worst taste.
                                    I tried calling and chat with zomato people but they failed to respond me with the issue. And there even no contact number avaliable to call them right away.
                                    When i tried the options available it is simply showing the app is out dated. Where in the app was updated already.

                                    I have all the proofs where in what i ordered and what i received. Its totally not acceptable i need my money refund.
                                    Zomato customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                                    We ordered non veg combo on zomato from gulf bakery and we received only one pack and the amount we payed was for two packs
                                    We are not happy with this.

                                      Ordered my food at 8:35pm expected delivery was 9:22pm after complaining customer care they said with in 15minutes it would be delivered but unfortunately it was not, called zomato delivery guy at 9:45 pm but he said it would take in another 20 minutes to reach him to my place. When called empire restaurant guys they confirmed that they had delivered it to zomato at 9:15pm and 10:10pm still zomato customer service replied saying another 15minutes for delivery. Unfotunately i had to go to a restaurant in a illness condition to to get food for me and my relative. Currently i have raised a request for cancellation of order but till now there is no response from zomato team. People who ever reading this please please try some other service before you ordering through zomato, seriously a worst service i have ever seen. Looking for the cancellation and refund, i would rate 0 (Zero) for your services.

                                        Pathetic service everytime. My order is delayed everytime. All the zomato delivery guys are rude. Chat support isn't helping. This has been happening for quite a while now. This can't be going. They say that they will make their service better but they end up doing the sane thing. My order is usually delayed upto half an hour and this happens a lot. On a cod order they don't have change for even a 500rs note and they fight when you ask why isn't it there.
