Hi

Zomato was running up a hyped up marketing at chennai last week countering uber eats and swiggy

Thought would give it a try, ordered some evening snacks on may 20, everything went well till the order was completed online, then an endless wait for the restarunt french loaf to confirm the order.

30 minutes of wait with no cancellation option order, zomato cancels the order citing, 'delivery boys shortage, ', quite weird... The weirdest part was the order is listed in the app though i made the payment, so i am unable to track the order..., online grab and hide

Till date refund is not received.
Can any one help?

    Order id : [protected] order from behrouz biryani... And date 31/05/2018

    First my order was successfully received and confirmed in the website so i assumed everything was right and then i received a call from restaurant saying that one of my orders was not served that day so i told him to cancel the order and then i contacted zomato customer help chat he said i would receive the refund in 24-48 hours and he was late in responding to my request. Its been 48 hours and there is nothing... From zomato side not even a mail saying that my refund is initiated. I please request concerned authorities to look into this matter and refund me back my money as soon as possible.

    Few minutes ago, i had ordered kadhai chicken but when i check my order after the delivery it was kadhai paneer, that was totaly different dish and i had paid more for kadhai chicken . And there customer support is not responding, i am still waiting for revert and till now i didn't have my dinner

      I have placed an order from shanmukha, bengaluru of amount 294 at 1:10pm and expected delivery time was 1:44 pm today 2nd june, 2018 and this order was delivered to me by 2 30 pm. I tried calling zomato helpline more than 10 times to either cancel the order or know the status of order. I have also called resturamt and they confirmed that it has been already collected by delivery boy long back. I am completely disappointed with this service.

        I have ordered domino's pizza through zomato. It was a late delivery. When i contacted zomato customer care saying i still not received my order they told will call to domino's and confirm after a while they came back and told we are not reachable. I tried my own to call domino's, domino's person informed it's on the way and they were sorry about late delivery hence they gonna refund the money from domino's end. When i told the same to zomato that arrogant customer care person his/her replied "great" instead of apologize even though i was requesting every time, i told this is not the way you suppose to support customer, what is the use if i am calling all by myself, that zomato customer care person later told we can not refund the amount when i asked why? His/her reply was"too many questions were asked hence there may be a delay in reply", when my hard earned money spent and domino's don't have any issue to refund since i recieved chilled food, when i was asked for justice and fought for a while then they refunded me, but it's way too much bad to treat customer. I hope this complaint make them to give proper training to customer care, have some sense humble and respect towards customers.

        I had tried to place an order for grilled cheese and omelette sandwich, chicken popcorn, chicken nuggets, French fries and sprite at Chicken Palace Kolkata but the transaction failed but money (155 Rs)was still deducted from my account. The transaction ID is IGADQILWV0. I expect a refund at the earliest.

          I ordered pizza from domino
          Delivery expected was 10:30pm and after long waiting on 11:05pm i received text your number was unreachable... When i called back to this number they asked your guts didn't allow to enter n delivery boy was waited there for 20 minutes.. Actually there is no gate keeper.. And attitude of responding person was totally unprofessional
          They neither talk about delivery aur refund if order cancelled... Or didn't tell anything
          And i'm waiting here for food

          I ordered food from Rolls on coals Vasai west at 5.13pm it said 40mins Delivery time and it's already 6.35pm and still not received order tried to call rider ones his number was not reachable the next time I called him he said 10mins now it's already 1hr 20mins and still waiting for the order.

            I am from hyderabad near habsiguda. On 31st may 2018 at 8:51pm i placed an order with a mod of payment cod, after 10 mins i received a confirmation that i will be receiving my ordered food by 9:36pm. At 9:45pm the delivery boy called me and asked me to cancel the order as the restaurant is not accepting the order but how come if zomato is confirming that the order has been confirmed then how they can now tell me to cancel from my end. At last after several phone calls i received my food by 10:15pm. Also the delivery boy is not comfortable in hindi.. So which means only who knows english or telegu can order food through zomato?? This is ridiculous. When the delivery boy came to my house to deliver the food he asked me to come out from my door to pay the cash.. Again what is the issue if i am handing over the cash from inside the door, not sure but really a worst experience from zomato.. I will hate to order food from them in future.

              This is the worst service i have ever faced!! You people purposely cancel the order and loot all money. I have been asking cc personal to have a call arranged from higher authority but they did not.

              I believe a serious fraud activity is going on in this zomato. I placed orders twice on the same day and both got cancelled.

                Since last several months i am getting calls from people asking for a restaurant white fumes sector 48 gurgaon.
                The callers say that my number is given on zomato white fumes address.
                My number is [protected]... And it has got nothing to do with white fumes since last many years.
                Please remove the my number from there immediately.

                    I ordered food and found a small metal object in it.. I did not eat it then after a bite because obviously i was not sure if it will be safe to eat or hygienic
                    Zomato guys wasted my 3 hours and sent same repetitive messages.
                    I asked for refund of that particular item and not for entire order. But they did not give me. Instead they were just wasting my time by calling restaurant at midnight when it was closed.
                    I want to take legal action against them.

                      I have place three orders on three Consecutive days from chaitany parathas. first two orders were good but todays (29th May 2018) order. I have ordered Italian stuff paratha and veg biryani from chiatany biryani italian stuff paratha was good but veg biryani was awefull and not cooked properly and unfortunitely need to throw it in dustbin beacause i cant give it to other also i expect refund for this order and improved quality of food in next order otherwise henceforth i will not going use zomato and not going to order food fromthat restourant.

                        Not provide the ordered food and also not give the credit promised by zomato as apology.
                        I ordered food on 15 may and zomato send me following message-
                        ''Your order from Krisspy Bites has been picked up by our runnr LOKESH KUMAR GAUTAM ([protected]) and will be reaching you shortly. You can use the link https://runnr.in/s/3sm9oz to track your order.''
                        After that my order was not availed me and zomato send me following message-
                        "We have initiated a refund against your order (id: [protected]) on Zomato Order. Refund of Rs 87 will start reflecting in your account within 2-7 working days."
                        But till now there is no refund credited in my zomato account.
                        When I asked about that on zomato chat they send me message-
                        "I request you to please mail along with your order number of this order along with the latest bank statement."
                        "I'm sorry but I can't provide zomato credits from my end."

                        WHAT SHOULD I DO NOW????

                        On 25th may, 2018 at sharp 5:11, I ordered some drinks from Cafe coffee day, via Zomato. I didnt receive my order and on top of that in the zomato app it said that the order is delivered, however it isnt. This kind of event has happened multiple times with this comapany. I want to file a complaint so that this thing is stopped.

                              First of all zomoto required a toll free helpline number.
                              Second one is im place a order to dominos pizza in new50 offer. Than after order is complete an payment done than suddenly i'm seen to your payment is decline or not completed.
                              But main problem is a 109 rs. Debit in my account so what can i for you so credit my money in my account.
                              So plz reply me fast other wise me note a fir to on zomoto an complain against to zomoto team....

                                Whenever i open youtube app, i see zomato ad every 2nd or 3rd video i visit. These ads are annoying when i want to watch an educational video. Whenever i open the yotube app in my phone, i see zomato ads everytime i visit a 2nd or 3rd video. These ads are everywhere. The ads are annoying and i don't even have an option to skip the ads. So i have to waste 5-10 sec everytime a zomato ad is coming.

                                  I had ordered two biryani worth of 448 from zamato. I was eligible for new50 promocode but due to some reasons customer care guy said you please order your food and we will compensate for that. But later on i got only 100 z credit only inspite of 250z credit as per the customer care guy. And later on they are saying we can only give you 100 z credit. I need a responsible answer from you guys and need compensation for the loss.

                                    Zomato is the foodie's guide to food ordering. Rather its ordering made easy. But the ratings on zomato for any particular eatery in town is too misguiding and biased. I find lots of fake reviewers posting fake reviews simply to pull down an eatery. Ultimately it becomes too difficult for the end user to order as the decision mostly depends on the restaurant rating. Hence really good restaurants serving good food suffer in the hands of fake reviewers as people see the ratings and order.
                                    Below is some fake reviewer, whom i found. Who have similar photograph, similar way of writing the review, similar rating (I. E. - 5). I think these account is own by only one person with different name. They take the some free delivery or some amount from restaurant and make a fake review and give good rating in compare of food. Which misguide the original end user.

                                      I had ordered food from shagun restaurant situated in hudson lane, north delhi and i paid with my card. However, the order wasn't placed for a very long time and the money was deducted from my account. I had to cancel the transaction eventually. Kindly look into this as soon as possible. The similar thing had happened with another cafe called cake bake shake. I just want my refund.

                                        I ordered food on 27 may 2018 at 11:23 am (Order no - [protected]) and prepaid the amount by paytm but it hasn't been delivered yet even after 24hrs.
                                        The status shows that it has been delivered but restaurant staff is denying any order from zomato and that no one came for picking up the meal.
                                        Sort out my problem asap. I am very unsatisfied with the service and if no action is taken from your side, i will take legal actions.
