Team, this is praveen suthar and i had done 2 bookings in the month of august. Attached details for ready reference. One was cancelled by zoomcar, saying the 1st booked car met with an accident and they have cancelled and will refund in 10 days. I booked 2nd car and filled fuel of 2, 000/- and later i realized the ac is not working; for this they confirmed they will refund fuel money i. E. 2k. Also the second car's deposit is yet to be received.
Total outstanding-1st car-4, 746/-
Second car fuel and deposit - 2, 000/- + 2, 999/- = 9, 745/-

    Refund not initiated for two zoomcars bookings: jps6np7tl and jps6n5zi0

    It has been more than three months for my two bookings on zoomcars, and the refund has not been initiated for two of my bookings.

    I have been told several time on the phone that it will be processed within a week or so. But i have waited several weeks now.

    The total amount to be refunded is inr 5998 for both the bookings.
    Zoomcar customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

      Hello Sir/Madam,

      It's been 35 days since my trip got completed but still my security deposit money not yet initiated. Already sent lots of emails to [protected]@zoomcar.com but no reply from them. Trying to reach all the contact numbers but they have removed to option to talk to the executive for help.

        These guys dont even know how to talk with customers. No refund since more than 1.5 months. Not even responding my e-mails and phone.

          Dear sir,
          This is in regard with the booking id jps6na583 started on 9th september, 2020 till 9th october, 2020.

          Yesterday in powai around 5 p. M. The car broke down in the middle of the road. I immediately called up customer care and the executive said that the tracking device is locking the car automatically. As it was in the peak hours the car was causing a lot of traffic and chaos. As being a lady, i could not stand on the road and because i was getting late and the people were bothering too much, i had to leave the car with my manager. I was continuiously co-ordinating with the customer care and my manager.
          The executives kept on buying out time and in the meantime police came and asked to jump start the car by pushing it and lot of people gathered to help to push the car. It was difficult and embarrassing for us to explain to the police and people that the car has got a gps tracking problem. Later the police and the people helped us to push the car to one side of the road.

          After 1 hour the car started and the manager might have hardly moved 10 kms and car stopped again. We called up the customer care again and this time even after making repeated calls they could not start the car. Meanwhile around 7.30 the car was still standing on the powai road. It was dark and isolated. Two people came on a bike, parked their vehicle few metres away from the car and was smoking and after they finished their cigarette, one of them walked towards my manager and asked my manager if he had problem with the car. As he was carrying few important files of the office and some cash, he was reluctant to talk to these people as we were expecting a solution from the customer care. Out of nowhere they started enquring about the booking and said that they work in zoomcar office mumbai. These people spoke to me and i verified my identity. They said the car has a mechanical problem and they will have to take the car which was quite shocking as the car had to be given to a stranger in the middle of the road. The customer care should have informed me, written a mail to me saying that i have to handover the car officially. Ending kilometres could not be noted as the car was off. I myself had to ask for their id card proof. I had to send one more staff because to the location where my car broke down to help my manager.

          After they took away the car, the booking was automatically cancelled and i have been given an absurd bill which i cannot understand. After 3 hours of chaos and going through hell it seems that i have become victim to this filmy drama done by your executive just to recover the car with no fault of mine.

          I would request you to look into the whole episode professionally and would like to have a written explanation.

            I’ve tried booking a car on zoom car 2nd of october after making the payment i’ve noticed that the booking had not confirmed and money has been taken from my account. The next day i get an email from them that trip has been cancelled the money will be refunded after a week i tried calling them they asked me to wait 30 days due to this current situation. It’s been more than a month. Now there’s no response from their side.

              I have booked tata hexa with booking id:jps6nk3so
              From 7 apr to 17 apr but due to lock down i had to cancel it which i have done on 29th march. I have already raised complaints via main regarding refund and i didn't got any response. Then i tried reaching office and it was open they said i will get my refund in a week. Still i didn't got refund and now i have visited office 3 4 time and it is closed. Now it's been more than 6months and i'm still waiting for my refund of rupees 16288

                I made 2 bookings mentioned below in june and haven't received security refund for both the bookings yet. The security deposit is supposed to be refunded within 7 days and maximum 30 days as per policy:

                Booking id: jps6npj3u (12jun, 2020 8:00 am to 15 jun, 2020 8:00 am)
                - refund pending rs2, 999/-

                Booking id: jps6nyqmw (06 jun, 2020 9:00 am to 06 jun, 2020 9:00 pm)
                - refund pending rs3, 299/-

                There is no response to the complain raised on zoomcar app and they are not responding on customer care as well.

                  I booked a car on 20th August, 2020 from Zoom car (Booking ID- JPS6N0PR2) which they cancelled, just 45 mins before the booking time
                  It has been more than 45 days that I have not received the refund of amount of ₹2, 597.
                  I have complained many times through emails and phone calls, but received no reply from Zoom car.
                  And moreover, I didn’t cancel the booking, they were not able to provide car.
                  Firstly it’s their mistake as they canceled the car just 45 mins before the booking time and secondly inspite of their mistake they are not giving my money back.

                    I have completed by booking. BOOKING ID # JPS6NEJS0 since 16th of September 2020 but till date there is no refund of the security deposit they have taken. I am very disappointed by the way Zoom Car has been dealing about with these refunds. Had I had an idea by looking at other consumer complaints, I wouldn't have ever used their services. First of all they gave me a car to drive that was dirty from within and forget sanitization as what they claim, I can go ahead and sue them for using such false statements. I have the photographs to prove all of these claims. And after all the bad service they are even not refunding the deposit which is bizarre and totally not acceptable.

                          I booked the car including fuel but after 3 months of my booking completed i have note received my refund of Rs.4000

                          I have called several times but no action is being taken from their team and only further dates are given .

                          I have uploaded all the bills futher on their website but no refund is being processed.

                            I have completed my trip on 10 sep 2020 and till now i haven’t received my security refund and fuel reimbursement amount back. Its been a month now . Worst service i have ever seen. I dont know why it takes too long for refunding amount. Very poor experience. And I'll tell all my friends and family not to make any booking with zoomcar again. I have email them many times but they are not providing me any resonable response.

                              Hello, My name is Dhavan Parmar.I booked zoomcar at 31 august 2020 for 10 am-8 pm in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.Park the car before 8 :00 pm.And follow all the rules and regulation and pay by my axisbank debit card.I paid the rent plus deposit amount of 1999.00 Rs. by debit card.Zoomcars policy is to give refund in 30 days of booking.Still the refund is not made by the zoomcar company.The customer representatives is not giving any assurance regarding the same.I am not able to recover my deposit.Please Take the matter in your hand and try to give my refund money back in my account. Thank you
