Address: Pune

I had made a booking on 8th December 2022 (Tata Nexon 2018 - Booking ID: JPS69PVZN | KA03AG1565). The app shows "Bill Cleared" for the booking (as seen in attached image).

But, the app is also asking to "Clear outstanding of ₹558" for the same booking (as seen in attached image).

When I go to pay the amount, the app shows a "Cannot find booking_id" error message (as seen in attached image).

Due to this, my current booking is being blocked from proceeding.

Please resolve this complaint as soon as possible.

    My booking was starting from 8 pm on 23.04.23, but when I picked up my car, there was a drop off another booking, so the condition of car is not good, but I started my journey . On 24.04.23, during the journey, there was a breakdown in the car, and the cost ofaround 9175 was paid by me.So kindly pay my amount that is used in repairing. I attached the bill. I complained lots of times my booking was completed on 26.04.23, but more than 30 days had gone no response from zoomcar.Kindly refund my amount as soon as possible.

      I had booked a car on Zoom car by making a payment of 27, 748/- on 17th of May 2023, I had to pick the car up on 21st of May, On 20th may i got to know that my booking was cancelled, and i got the message that the amount will be refunded. But till date i have beening trying to contact the customer care to resolve the issue but i am unable to contact as there is no other way except through chat bot. The chat bot is just raising a ticket but no action is being done on the ticket. I complaint ticket number are 1412345 & 1413318. I dont know how to contact the customer care directly and resolve my issue as its more 8 days since i am facing this porblem.

        From 28th march vehicle no. MH48S2146 has not return to me till now.. and dont know the status of vehicle just 5 days ago came to know its in kandivali garrage.. but garrage guy is denying to return vehicle ... he is saying there is outsatanding amount from zoomcar so he wont return the vehicle... i dont know anything i want my car back with 2 months whole downtime refund

          I booked a car from Zoomcar on last Saturday I.e. 20th March 2023, my car an third party owner car get touched and we both got a dent on the car with few cracks. I had an insurance from Zoomcar and the host car damage covered in it. But the third party is also asking for damage reimbursement and I wanted to claim third party insurance claim via car insurance that I was driving. I reported the issue to Zoomcar portal but it’s been two days...

          I booked a Zoomcare for 25th March 2023 at 9:30 am and the drop-off was supposed to be on the 26th of March, 2023 at 6:00 pm from Guwahati, India.

          The attached file shows the booking details clearly.

          When we reach the pick-up spot, I open my Zoomcar mobile application to start the trip, the booking details show up as

          Pick up - 25th March 2023 - 10:30 pm
          Drop-off - 27th March 2023 - 6:00 am

          Please review the attached file below.

          When I tried calling the Customer Support team, the Support Executive provided me with a WhatsApp number and asked me to share the first booking confirmation that I had received from Zoomcar

          After making us wait for 30 mins in the scorching heat, there was no response from them.

          I tried calling the Customer Support team again, and this team acknowledged that there is a discrepancy on Zoomcar's end and promised me that they will cancel the booking from their end and refund the amount within 7 working days.

          I clearly mentioned, no matter what, I will not manually cancel the booking on my end and Zoomcar will need to cancel it because the issue is on their end.

          The situation happened on the 25th of March 2023, and today as I write the complaint it is the 27th of May, 2023 and there has been no refund from Zoomcar.

          To add to the inconvenience, the booking still shows that I need to select another car and the booking is not cancelled (file attached below).

          Upon checking the terms and conditions of the refund policy, I see that it takes about 30 days to process a refund (proof attached below), whereas, I was told that I will receive my refund in 7 days by the Customer Support Team.

          I have tried contacting Zoomcar Support 4 times after that from different numbers but every time I am put on hold because apparently, all their Customer Representatives are busy assisting other customers.

          Therefore, I would like to raise a serious complaint to Indian Consumer Complaint Forum and request the esteemed team to look into this matter and serve justice to its citizens who are being robbed this way.

          I look forward to a response from the concerned team eagerly.

            I booked the zoomcar for my trip on 15th may to 20th may. But when I reached at the location to get the car, i found that the car was severely damaged, the car had it headlight broken severe scratches and dents on all side of the car.I tried reaching out the zoomcar but nobody responded, i also requested the host to cancel the car for which i was denied also.
            Later i had to cancel my booking of the car because i had booked it for a long road trip for 5 days and looking at the car no one would thought of taking that car. With great disappointment i had to cancel my booking without even unlocking the car and starting the trip. After that i have been trying to get my refund from zoomcar but nobody is responding and neither showing any concern with my issue, i have paid a big amount for my booking. Please look into my concern and help getting my refund asap

              My car was rented on 17th Dec, & met with accident on the same day & there was complaint registered in uttungarai against the renter & I didn't get any help from zoom car, got call from police station that my car got accident, I had called n number of time to zoom car there was no response they kept on telling me that legal team is working on that, after waiting 9- 10 days, i released my car with my own money, filed petition against zoom car for the compensation, but didn't get any response, today I have got legal notice from 3rd party who met with an accident on 17 th Dec for claiming her compensation which is against me, according to zoom car host agreement, it's the driver & zoom car is responsible

                I cancelled the booking more than 24 hours before start time but cancellation charges were still levied. According to the policy, I should get 100% refund but I received only 50% refund. I should get ₹15403 refund amount instead of just ₹7088. I've been waiting for over a month now and still haven't seen any progress in the refund process.

                  I booked a car when i reached at the host location he told me car is not available as it is on ongoing trip so I contacted zoomcar customer care number they told me to do cancelled the booking and i will be getting refund within 6 hour now its almost 48 hour done I haven’t received the refund and when i am calling customer care and sending mail. No one is answering and giving revert.

                    I booked a car but I couldn’t very my credentials. I paid full among so wanted to get refund. I tried but error mess Popped up to try again later. I tried several time but wasn’t able to proceed further. Later when i tried to cancel the booking full amount was deducted! I need some answers but couldn’t find any.

                      Really it’s very bad experience from Zoomcar team and from host, I went to car location on 10/05/2023 and unlocked and not finding keys and also called host and he saying car key kept inside the house and nobody in house and also he told car condition not good car left driver side window not closing.I tried calling Zoomcar car customer care but no one is picking and refund status also not forwarded and not finding other cars.coz o[censored] people my whole plan canceled really I dint expectedWhy still my problem not resolved, Again I booked but its too far from my location so canceled and for this also amount deducted and still no refund status showing, so kindly resolve

                        I've booked a car from zoomcar booking id - JPSNC0AYH (CH01CB4781) . the app has been charging me rs 2000 extra for extending my trip .
                        I would like to inform you that I haven't done any extension from my end.
                        Also, you can check the trip end time.
                        It is a matter of common sense that why would I extend my trip just a few minutes before ending my trip.
                        Moreover, when I was at the drop location, the host arrived there and took my phone saying that he wants to give 5 star rating to his car, I gave him my phone as I was satisfied with their car.
                        I didn't know he was trying to scam me by extending the trip without my knowledge.
                        Additionally, the trip was ended by him through my phone.
                        He didn't gave me my phone back and kept on saying that he just wants to give 5 star rating to his car.
                        I would have happily paid for extension if I had myself done it through my phone and used the extension hours. The host extended the trip for 3 hours but I've ended the trip 2 hours before the end time.
                        Moreover, when i raised a ticket to the zoom support, I don't know why they changed the fuel reading to 2% at drop time, I returned the car at 100% fuel level, the photos of the fuel meter are also uploaded on the app. I don't know if it is the host of the car or the company itself who is trying to scam me. Now they are demanding 4500 more for the fuel charges and are saying i returned the car at 2% fuel level. I want this issue to be resolved as soon as possible

                          I booked a Baleno through Zoomcar (Booking id: JPSNC0217).
                          I forgot my JBL Clip 4 Bluetooth speaker in the car. After around 1 hour i realised that i left my speaker in the car. I immediately called host but after listening to my query he disconnected the call. And he is not receiving the call back ever since. Request you to please help me get my speaker back.

                              I am highly dissatisfied with the quality of the vehicle I acquired, as it failed to meet my expectations on multiple fronts. Firstly, the air conditioning system in the car proved to be highly inadequate, providing minimal cooling during the scorching summer heat. Furthermore, the passengers in the back seat were deprived of any cooling whatsoever, making their experience highly uncomfortable.

                              In addition to the AC issue, I must highlight the deplorable condition of the stepney tire. It was excessively worn out to the extent that when I encountered a puncture, the mechanic advised against using the stepney as a replacement, suggesting that I get the puncture repaired instead. I had to spend Rs 650 to replace the tire tube. This not only demonstrates the substandard maintenance of the vehicle but also poses a significant safety concern.

                              Moreover, the car exhibited alarming levels of vibration when driven at speeds exceeding 100 kmph. On a highway where the maximum allowable speed was 120 kmph, I had to constantly ensure that my speed remained below 99 kmph to avoid the violent shaking of the vehicle. Such a flaw in the car's performance not only compromised my safety but also severely hindered my ability to travel at reasonable speeds.

                              To make matters wose, when I lodged a complaint with the host regarding the AC issue, they acknowledged being aware of the problem. This admission reflects a lack of transparency and integrity on their part, further validating my assertion of fraudulent practices employed by both the platform and its hosts.

                              In light of these numerous grievances and the misleading practices implemented, it is evident that the platform and its hosts are engaging in unethical conduct, deceiving and potentially endangering unsuspecting customers.

                              Furthermore, after the trip concluded, I was dismayed to discover that there was no feedback form available in the application to express my dissatisfaction with the overall experience. This lack of a proper avenue for providing feedback further indicates a disregard for customer input and a desire to suppress negative reviews.

                              To my astonishment, I received a message after some time, notifying me that my rating for the car had been recorded as a perfect 5 stars. This notification blatantly contradicted my actual intentions and experiences, rendering it a clear instance of fraudulent activity aimed at artificially inflating the vehicle's rating.

                              After a closer look at the reviews, it became clear that they were all brief one-liners, with some being duplicates of reviews on other cars. This indicates that Zoomcar is not making an effort to curb fake reviews and ratings, but instead seems to be involved in supporting and encouraging this practice.

                              The presence of shallow and repetitive reviews, along with the duplication of feedback across different car listings, undermines the credibility of Zoomcar's reviewing system. This revelation highlights the platform's complicity in perpetuating a dishonest environment where genuine customer experiences are overshadowed by fraudulent activities.

                              By neglecting to address the issue of fake reviews and ratings, Zoomcar not only erodes the trust of its users but also shows a disregard for ethical business practices. The platform's inaction perpetuates a climate of deceit, undermining the reliability of the reviewing process and putting customers at a disadvantage when trying to make informed decisions.

                                Hello,
                                My car HR 06 AV 9711 got a breakdown in the live booking (Booking ID-JPSNC151Y) dated 14 April 2023. After that I got only one mail from the Zoom side on 18th April that the car got breakdown it is in so and so garage for further updates directly contact to garage (Gaadifix).
                                I am in contact with gadifix person also but for the past 30 days, I am just getting one reply that we are in contact with Zoom and the garage...

                                Hello,
                                I have enrolled as Zoomcar Host and have given my car with trust to zoomcar considering the brand name.

                                Pathetic CUSTOMER SUPPORT. I have never seen such irresponsible behaviour and pathetic SUPPORT from anyone till date. They operate via app only and their app is another level ###. Most of the time the app is not functional to fill the check list. If you are not filling the checklist then they have a policy that they cant consider anything. So becuase of their app mistake, we have to suffer everytime.

                                My car got damaged by one of the CUSTOMER but since the app was down we were not able to take the photo and upload it and fill the checklist. Now it has been more than 2 to 3 weeks that i am trying to follow up with their team via call and email, but they are just routing to one another and not taking any responsibility.

                                I have nowhere to reach to fix my car and finally i am thinking of repairing it at my own cost.

                                Whoever is using Zoomcar as host of as a CUSTOMER. It's my humble request not to use their services as they are not bothered about their service at all. they just want to take their share and leave both the CUSTOMER and host fighting for refunds. I have seen many cases like this on the internet so please refrain from using such pathetic service.
