Medi Assist India — Complaint about my claim (complaint)
and an employee of mediassist from andheri office Rohit Kunchikorve rejected my claim saying that i am not covered under OPD claims in my policy. I am trying to get this resolved by talking to mediassist for more than 7 days now and each time that I am calling mediassist my call is being disconnected or they just pass the buck saying they have escalated my issue... which is unpaid by Mediassist (beyond package limit), I would like to Partially Claim the remaining amount from my Son’s Corporate insurance policy under which I am also covered.
For this, I had requested Mediassist to provide verified hard copies of medical docs along with the settlement letter ( as asked by another insurer) of above mentioned claim IDs, I got the docs delivered at my provided address... I have submitted the undertaking to mediassist. As per the hospital authority the hospital itself a network hospital of mediassist & they provide the same documents for every claim.
I have contacted to mediassist help desk they clearly suggest to submit an undertaking from hospital regarding the break up bill...
I have contacted the MediAssist team(front end team of insurer) and they are saying always as wait for 6-7 days and again wait for 2-3 days. Could you please take this as complaint and take the necessary actions.

I have raised claim with Mediassist in June 2021 . Status is showing as " Pending Claim Adjudication" from July. Called customer care more than 20 times each time they open a ticket and close it t saying "Resolved". But no update later.

experience with Capgemini mediassist and it customer service... hospital discount to Mediassist as I already made full payment to the hospital that is rs 137794.

I am also Oriental Insurance and LIC Agent Since 2001... 10 for my mother and Mediassist through the partner Pharmeasy delivered Pantocid 40 instead of Sartel 40.
As we have a habit of checking the medicine and the consumer is educated enough we could understand the difference in delivered medicine and purpose and hence did not consume the same... I won't suggest mediassist to anyone. Worst service... I have insurance in mediassist india. They have deducted around 50% of total amount raised, says the reasons like proportionate deduction due to high room rent occcupancy even deducted on doctor consulation charges which is around 15000, My room rent for 2 days is 3900 and they allow me for twin sharing ac room... Thank you !!

I have raise for reumbursement to mediassist on june 1st regarding my husband's traetment and submitted all the documents with mediassist team. Every day i am calling them for ststus an they are telling me kyc pending and making me getting stress and i am bursting out with tears because of this issue... Medi Assist India — Regarding less amount of reimbursement even if eligible for more amount (complaint)
I have insurance in mediassist india. They have deducted so much of amount nearly 50% and they mentioned reasons like hospital discount and excess room rent. Though I am eligible, even after writing and calling somany times to them, they are not responding at all. Kindly take action against this insurance people...

mail many times to mediassist regarding this issue haven't get any response from them since 2 weeks even sent mail to [protected]@mediassist. in still no response from any one.
Need the reason for this as well as why this claim not reprocess for payment.

After giving so many reminders royal sundaram has denied and asked me to submit claim documents to their chennai office. Thus i have submitted documents to chennai office on 08/6/2021. To date no response from their end their customer care is very much busy so they are not in a position to reply on call... company and the TPA is Mediassist. On 19th June 2021 my mother was admitted in Apollo Hospitals, Hyderabad and they have submitted a Cashless Preauthorization request on 20th June 2021. I already send breakup bills for
Rs 1, 85, 139/- that is not scanned and uploaded in portal by our team at bandra office,
Now asking through query, what should i do?
How should i submit the documents which is already at our office?
I really suffering now by choosing mediassist reimbursement facility because mediassist is complete careless and irresponsible towards reimbursement claims?

Traveled 150kms and collected documents from hospital and uploaded on 26/05/2021
But same queries raised again on 28/05/2021 with out checking uploaded documents!
Again query raised on 31/05/2021 and playing with me !!
i also send original CT SCAN report and film, lab report and many other documents regarding my treatment but only few documents are scanned and asking again and again for processing my claim... I sent formal email, called at least 8 to 10 times in span of 3 weeks and everytime i had to wait in call for 15-20 mins just to hear back that they have escalated the issue and someone will call or respond to email... other medicines from Mediassist. I filed this claim in July 2020. At first both claims got repudiated because of non-availability of settlement letter from my Spouse insurer. I received the letter in Oct and same time I requested to re-open the claims.
