The fup usage is getting exhausted in 10 days. We normally browse youtube (Approx 2 hours per day) and netflix (Approx 2 hours per day) along with normal social media with no heavy downloads. However, 150gb of data is exhausted in 10 days and after opting reset of fup (100gb), i see the same pattern 59gb exhausted in 3 days.

I tested who is connected to my wifi but its all legit.

This looks very fishy and need immediate resolution.

I would not consider the issue to be resolved. I still see daily the usage is showing more than 8-10 GB. Where is my data going?

    Manytimes I have to work from home and I need uninterrupted Internet service.

    Every 2 days there is issue like"Ethernet doesn't have a vaid IP configuration " They dont pick up my calls at a call center.

    Why? Everytime. Once you solved this issue should not be getting again and again.

    You fixed 4 to 5 boxes and even more in our building from which you supply connections to 50 to 100 other houses and you don't even pay any amount as you promised while fixing the connection. Whats wrong?

      I took act fibernet internet connect 15 days back and i have registered 4 to 5 complaints in these 15 days. Very worst connectivity and service too. I paid 2k and its

      Not even worth of 15 days. I mostly do work from home and internet is mandatory for me.

      But act fibernet made me very upset. And today again i got issues and my internet not working. Service team is saying it will take 2 days to address the issue. I am in

      Main area of bangalore and there itself act giving very poor connectivity.

      Please consider my words before take act fibernet connection.

        I've been using this fibernet connection for 3+ yrs now. Recently i shifted my house and requested for a relocation of connection. I've been waiting for almost 3 weeks now, they have not given me connection yet. Every time i call up customer care, i get a new ticket number, because each ticket is closed automatically after 3 days.
        Finally i decided to exit from this hassle. So i raised a request to disconnect and refund my money, since i've paid money in advance for 6months.

        They said, they don't have the policy of refunding money. Anytime in future if i decide to avail their service, i can use that money.

        Now, neither i have a connection nor my money.

        I just got a call from ACT, saying that your validity of 6months ends today, so we cannot pay you. ###### SAT ON MY COMPLAINT FOR ONE FULL MONTH WITHOUT GIVING ME ANY SERVICE AND NOW THEY SAY YOUR VALIDITY ENDS NOW.

          From last three months, i am seeing my fup limit is getting exceeded by end of second week on every month. I am recharging when it get exceeded but no use. Again new limit is also getting exhausted immediately. I asked log statements many times regarding my usage, no one sent my usage. Except this issue everything is fine with act vijayawada.             I am a resident of no 35 2nd cross dinnur main road r. T. Nagar bangalore 560032, opp to navodaya vidyanikethana

            My neighbour (No 36 2nd cross dinnur main road r. T. Nagar bangalore 560032, opp to navodaya vidyanikethana) has constructed an unauthorised 4 floor building next to my house without any set backs - wall to wall - the site area is about 1000 sqft the road width is hardly 2.5 to 3 metres

            The normal building bye law of bangalore has not been followed for the safety of the residents in the area

            As per the norms prescribed by the odissi government a minimu mof 3 metres from the structure is essential on all the sides of the building which is not done

            The main reason for the complaint is over and over the construction o[censored]nauthorised structure he has raised a 4g tower of an height of about 30 feet above his roof terrace

            The has not taken any noc from the neighbours and has erected in a densely populated residential area where roads in dinnur main road r. T. Nagar are very narrow and small

            The tower as per the study from internet is highly radioactive and has biological effects on the human body. The study has been made by various agencies copies of such report is attached for your information and favourable action. Brief such symptoms are as under :

            1. Chronic fatigue
            2. Hyperactivity
            3. Walking up between 3am and 6 am
            4. Teeth grinding or tossing
            5. Cramps in feet or calves
            6. Hyperventilation
            7. Palpitation
            8. Stiffness
            9. Rigid shoulder
            10. High blood pressure etc. Etc.

            When a human body is exposed to the electromagnetic radiation, it absorbs radiation, because human body contains 70% of liquid. It is similar to that of cooking in the microwave oven. The human height is much greater than the wavelength of the cell tower transmitting frequencies, so there will be multiple resonances in the body, which creates localized heating inside the body. This results in boils, drying up the fluids around eyes, brain, joints, heart, abdomen, etc

            At night we have to relax and not receive more stimuli than in the daytime. A person, when sleeping, is estimated to be 200 to 400 times more sensitive to radiation or other stimuli. Make sure your bed and your children’s beds have no electrical sources in the vicinity.in other words: no electric blanket, no waterbed heating, no adjustable bed by means of electric motors (Unplug), and no electrically powered clock radio. Put your mobile phone in another room, or even better switch it off. If necessary, purchase a small battery driven alarm clock.
            If you live near an electricity substation, pylon or within one kilometre of a cellular tower, consider adaptation /protection or relocation if necessary if you are very sensitive and always tired.

            The rules adopted by odisa government for installation of the tower is as under

            Location and permissibility:
            The location of telecom towers shall be located on the vacant lands to the extent possible. If locating the base station and antenna in residential area is unavoidable, then the service provider shall identify the building which is in design stage and plan the erection of base station and antenna tower (As per the requirements under this
            Regulations) above such building by taking in to account the sufficient load of such high tower in the design and planning if such building from the beginning itself. Possibility of exploring the multiple users of a single tower shall be explored.

            However permission for installation of towers shall be given as per priority listed below.
            I. First preference shall be given to the location of tower in the forest areas.
            Ii. All municipal buildings except educational and health institutions buildings.
            Iii. Other govt. Buildings
            Iv. Non-residential buildings.
            V. Residential areas (As defined in the development plan or master plan)
            A. Vacant land after clearance from concerned authority.
            B. Residential vacant plot leaving minimum 3m setback all around.

            Setbacks:
            An area of 3m radius shall be left as set back around the tower.
            5. Restrictions:
            The permission to install telecom tower shall not be given in cases where the proposal
            Is submitted for construction/erection:
            I. On a building which is abutting less than 9m right of way.
            Ii. Within 300 meters radius of a monument declared by archaeological survey of
            India or state archaeology
            Iii. Within 100 meters radius from a high security zone/building, etc.
            Iv. Restrictions imposed by the competent authority whenever the location is
            Proposed nearer to natural drainage channel/national highways/railway tracks
            V. Within the funnel zone of the airport, unless otherwise necessary clearance is
            Obtained from the local airport authority.
            Draft special regulation for installation of telecom towers in urban areas
            3
            Vi. 100m radius from the educational and health care institutional buildings. (The
            Instrument radiating the emission shall not be installed within the distance of
            36m from the area where people are having habitation for minimum 8 (Eight)
            Hours during more than 100 (Hundred) days in a year).
            Vii. On buildings which are unauthorized and structurally unsafe.
            6. Installations of ancillary equipment’s:
            I.in order to avoid any eventuality due to thunder storm, lightning conductors/
            Arresters have to be installed.
            Ii. Generator set installed at the tower site to cater to the power requirements of
            The antenna shall confirm to the noise and emission norms prescribed by the
            State pollution control board.
            7. Nocs/ permissions required:
            The following ‘no objection certificates’ (Noc) required for the service provider
            For getting approval from the concerned authority:
            I. Noc from owners of the residential buildings/ plotted houses (If tower is located
            Within 100m distance)
            Ii. Noc from the archaeological survey of india / state archaeology, wherever
            Applicable.
            Iii. Provisional permission from the department of telecommunication in favour of
            Service provider.
            Iv. Noc from local authority like urban local body/ development authority, which
            Is having its administrative control on the building and wherever erection of
            Telecom tower is proposed.
            V. Permission from the state pollution control board wherever applicable.
            Vi. Permission from the airport authority of india wherever applicable

            Kindly also refer to your clipping in the hindu on 5th december 2012 regarding installation o[censored]nauthorised mobile towers which reads as under :

            Towering problem: house owners must get bda sanction before permitting mobile towers to be erected on their premises. — file photo: v. Sreenivasa murthy the bangalore development authority (Bda) has decided to issue notices to building owners who have allowed service providers to put up mobile towers without receiving proper permission. The authority’s decision followed a memorandum submitted to it by rti activist b. M. Shivakumar where he expressed concern over the hazards of having mobile towers erected across the city.

            As per the bda rules, any person leasing out his or her terrace for the erection of a mobile towers needs to get bda’s sanction for utilising residential space for commercial purposes.

            Bda commissioner t. Sham bhat on monday issued the order to the town planning department seeking its report on the status of buildings where owners have erected unauthorised mobile towers.

            In his order, mr. Bhat stated that bda must ensure that building owners who have not got the permission must be brought to book.

            In his memorandum mr. Shivakumar said the bda (Allotment of sites) rules 1984 clearly stipulate that land allotted by the bda for residential purposes cannot be diverted for commercial use without permission.

            “despite this, several house owners have gone ahead with leasing out the terrace space of their homes to erect these mobile towers, ” he said.
            We request you to please take suitable steps in safeguarding the interest of the people living around for healthy living and request the owner to shift the structure anywhere else.
            The said building not only is situated in a densely populated residential area, but also there is a school just opposite the said building and a nursing home just adjoining the said building. I suppose according to the mcd guidlines no tower can be erected in residential areas. Also as we all know that it causes very harmful effects on humans living nearby and on the guidelines of supreme court delhi towers are not allowed at residential areas, it creates many diseases like cancer, and also affected the infant old people and specially for pregnant women. It’s radiation is very harmful for all. So please sir will take appropriate action and remove it as early as possible. I have already told him for removing that tower but they have not taken action on this matter. Also we have complain to local authority’s but there has been no action after so many complains.
            Please remove mobile tower from above mention address so that we can save our life.
            Please could you look at this complaint and escalate it to the right channel for proper action.

            We have ACT connection in Chennai. In the start of the month in 5 days we r getting e mail stating 50gb consumed. This company is totally useless!! No proper solution. They don't deserve to be operating. They should be banned and kicked out of market!!!

              I have paid my june 2017 act internet bill on time through online.
              But as per act billing team, the bank statement have reversed the amount 1034 to my bank account. Then i have provided my june to till date bank statement in which the charged back was not present. I have sent more than 5-6 mails to the helpdesk but did not get a positive response from act team.

              I have followed-up with my bank and they also told the same as per their investigation with the merchant.

              Now its been more than 12 days, act team is not resolving the issue. Everyday the same statement they are giving that they will resolve it asap.

                As we have been suffering very bad and pathetic service from act for my broadband internet connection no:[protected]. Please let me know my outstanding after adjectesting my advance which i have paid at the time connection taken. Please cancell and disconnect immediate effect.

                Fyi - last 5 days we don't have any internet and we have multiple complaint and no response from you and no engneer visited my residence. I still wonder how you can manege with this kind of pathetic service.

                  I hv asked a shifting request to act i hv moved to the new flat within the same compound. Its been 5 days since the first notification. They are taking so much time to shift. Really fed up with their service. My business is getting affected due to their negligence. They are informing me that they need a declaration letter after 5days and. Saying that it will take 3more days to shift. I decided to end my connection with act and move to airtel.

                    I have been using act broadband since sometime. People had warned me. Against using it saying that it will be ok till you face a problem. Once you have a problem, its hell, the customer service is useless. And rightly said, i should have believed them.
                    I had raised a simple request to shift my connection to a different address. The customer support person calls me, hangs up saying hello twice and immediately deactivated my internet connection. And if you try to reach them back on their support number? Well it's always busy. No matter when you call, how much you wait on the line, your call will never be connected to anyone. It's pure hell. So as a last option if you go to their # app to raise a complaint, that's another hell. They have only 3 categories of complaint and anything out of it cannot be registered. Plain horrible. Advice to never use this # service. Better use something expensive, atleast support is good. Worst experience ever.

                      1st complaint:
                      Beam Telecom / ACT — Removal of junction box from my landlord's place as i have moved out raised on May 22, 2017 -
                      e raised a complaint on May 6th 2017 to remove the junction box from my landlord's place as they are not giving me the Security deposit till this is done. I have been following up everyday and they say that they will do it within a day. Today when I checked again they are saying that they require another 3 days to carry out this activity whereas the intial SLA on May 6th was just 3 days. This is causing mental agony to me as I am in financial stress. Please take necessary action

                      2nd complaint:
                      Marked the issue as resolved without any action from act side - removal of junction box from my landlord's place as i have moved out

                        I have taken broadband connection since dec'16 - here are my problems -
                        1. I have been having frequent disconnection issues since the day one, i would have created at least 30-40 srs to them, but their response has been poor and my problem still exists
                        2. I even escalated to their appeliate and nodal manager, no response from them
                        3. Their service has been extremely poor. The srs are closed without acting them. When asked, they give excuses.
                        4. Their engineers ask us to call them if we have issues, but they go unreachable or do not pick up calls after the first call.
                        5. 2 months ago, an engineer visited and since he saw the issue for long time, he told my bill will be halved for next 2 months. They did it one month and next month they sent full bill. And the engineer does not respond anymore.

                        Overall, extremely dissappointing service so far.

                          4th july:

                          No internet connection. I file a complaint on the act around 3 or 4 in the afternoon. I get a message from act that it should get fixed by 8pm that day.
                          Some phone calls, no resolution.

                          5th july:

                          I take a work from home to get internet fixed. A guy ("network engineer") from act calls me and tells me that act junction box has to be moved. He asks me for permission to install at my building. I give my landlords number. Act guy tells me he has the permission and will fix it at 4.30 in the evening.

                          Nothing happens at 4.30. I call him at 5.00 he tells me that some other guy who installs junction box is not coming so it won't be fixed.

                          6th july:

                          No fix on place. I get home from work, call customer care. He starts pleading 1 more day and it will get fixed. I get odd calls from some act guy asking for my permission, i have to explain what happened. He says okay and hangs up.

                          Nothing fixed.

                          7th july:

                          No fix in place. Same stuff, calling customer care they plead for 1 more day.
                          Then the act guy calls me at 9.00 in the night asking for permission. I ask if he got the permission from my landlord. He's like he didn't get the permission. I ask that you told me that you already got permission. He says some jumble hangs up.

                          Customer care number mostly busy, when they picked up they don't have any status, nothing to tell when it will get fixed. They told me it will get fixed when someone will give permission. Awesome.

                          Today:
                          No internet. No communication from act side. Now i doubt if they even care.

                          I really hope there is a good competitor in the market with act. I would never come back and would never recomment act to anyone. I have never experienced such a bad service.

                          UPDATE: I called the customer care today. He informed he that they could not find a place to install the junction box so they are going to remove my connection. What a service!

                            Connection disconnected due to junction box issue

                            I have been a user of act for almost 2 years and never had any issue but this month i stopped getting internet for almost 2 weeks and they kept calling me to get a junction box fixed at my place i repeatedly told them that its a rented apartment and the land lord doesnt want the junction box drilled into the wall,
                            After 2 days i received a message saying you connection has been disconected and the bill is due. What kind of service...

                            I complained and called to act customer care for more than 10 times they are not resolving my problem. It is 8th day of internet disconnection and no action was taken. I am from pallikaranai.

                            Please take action.

                            Dont ever go for act in pallikaranai. Go for hathway or airtel.

                            Each and every day i am calling to act customer care and they are not resolving the problem rather creating ticket every time when i call.

                            If you still like this lazy if i called for new connection. Within 1 hour itself you guys will come right. Same also to be done for existing customers. I am not using ur service for free i am paying 1300 every month.

                              After many complaints about frequent disconnection of internet, the people are not taking serious and not rectifying the issues. They are closing the tickets without addressing the issues. Within a month I have almost raised 5 complaints and still these people are not reacting well.
                              Even today I spoke with customer care supervisor, she promised that she would take immediate action but no one responded till now

                                My act number is[protected].
                                I am using act/beam internet from more than 3 years on wards.
                                Recently, i upgraded plan to a-max 1050 (Around rs. 1239) from a-max-410 (Around rs. 470) but speed didn't increase, asked to revert back the immediately and raised multiple complaints, contacted nodal officer but they didn't change it. They are forcefully asking to pay one month charges.

                                App is allowing to upgrade plan but not downgrade, if by mistakenly some one upgrades, forced to pay one month charges.
                                This is clear cheating.
                                If act can upgrade plan at any time, why downgrade plan takes 1 month.

                                This is clearly cheating people.

                                Act promised to pay kfc coupon on friend referral.
                                I referred my friend 4 months back, my friend has taken connect also but neither i received kfc coupon nor any benefit.
                                Act broad band is cheating by making false promises.


                                Please help me to resolve this issue.

                                    We had requested for internet connection from ACT fibernet. We paid the amount 7000 for the same although they have installed but we have not got connection done. internet is not working. When we call the customer care they don't respond. Please help us for the same our money is at stake.We don't know what to do as their is no mode to communicate to them it has been 2 days and we have been trying to connect and neither mails nor the call centre is approachable.

                                      Hi, I registered for internet supply for my home from Beam (Atria Convergence Technologies) in hyderabad. Their executive Mr Praveen Visited and took the advance on 2nd July and assured me that the connection will be up by 3rd of July. We are cruising into 6th of july, still no one have contacted me. It seems they have taken money and stop bothering. I have been calling them daily. The executive who came to take papers and advance does not pick up the call and the customer care will always tell me we have registered the complaint and an action will be taken in 24 hours. And its been 3*24 hours and neither will they refund me the money nor install the internet connection. Please help!
