Dont get act fibernet. I was using act network previously but after their disappointing and pathetic customer care service, i had no option other than disconnecting their service and opt for the airtel broadband.
Though i had to compromise a little with the speed but now at least i get persistent connectivity without worrying about the internet going down and most importantly, excellent customer care service which responds quickly to the queries and resolve the issue within hours.

Here is my story which changed my perspective about act...

I got their connection when i moved in to bangalore at bel road. The fibernet network and the offered speed fascinated us, so me and my friend decided to go for this high speed internet. We got 20 mbps with a cap of 60gb @ around 1400 including taxes.

The internet worked fine and usually due to high speed, we generally exhausted our limit of 60gb within 2 or 3 weeks at max and then a very slow speed connectivity is all you will get of mere 512 kbps for saying only, its like no connectivity only.

Then we had to reset the limit which is chargeable again depending on the number of days left in the month cycle. So basically its a trap and a marketing strategy of first luring the users and then stealing from their pockets.

First 2 months, it all was going fine until then. Then the real problem started. The internet goes down all of a sudden one day saying error with dns probe something. I reset my router thinking there is some problem from my side, but no help.

I contacted their customer service then, which is i must say, the worst i have seen after bsnl. They picked the call after 12-15 minutes and mind you the call is chargeable, i told the executive about my problem, he said it would be resolvedd within a day or two. I said ok try to fix it as quickly as possible.
The next day i get a message that your problem has been resolved, i checked the connection, it was working fine but again after 10 minutes of browsing same problem cropped up.
Again i had to call their customer service, which again after 12 minutes they will pick up the call and a new complaint was registered again. He also assured me that by end of the day we get the problem resolved. I was calm till then.
I was on work from home, so i needed the internet badly, but i somehow managed to let go this time and hoped they would resolve it quickly.
I again got the message of the resolving and the internet was up again. This time a little longer but after couple of hours it still went down. This time it freaked me out.
I was in the middle of an important work and this happened when they assured me everything is fixed.
Again i had to call them, this time i told them clearly that this is not acceptable and they should fix it anyhow, and i told them all in good tone controllong my anger and frustration. He told me within hours it will be fixed and i will get one technician to attend me.

Neither any one called or showed up, nor the problem was resolved.
For the fourth time in the day i again called up, every time a newcustomers executive tries to say the same scripted words again and again. This time i lost my temper, i already had spent over 100 bucks on this hell long customer service and no one was able to resolve the problem and neither they were able to connect me to any of their technician. I asked them to connect my call to his senior and the executive guy cut me off the line, making me more angry.

5th, time furiated and boiling with anger i called them again and after few berating and argument this time i got my call connected to the senior.
I told him about my problem and he did apologize to me but again said the same words as the executives.
I told him if the problem is not i will disconnect your connection and he was like ok you can do it and he had the audacity to say that i just had to give a call and after four hours my connection will be disconnected, without even trying to make up for their wrong.

Act has established its monopoly in the fibernet market and are taking undue advantage of this thing.
I was pissed of with that kind of behaviour of theirs, so i disconnected from their service and took airtel broadband and i haven't faced any such trouble from airtel side.

So think twice before getting act connection, if you can do with their poor and arrogant service executives.

    After several complaint raised in the customer care and issue is not sorted out so far. We have repeatedly followed with customer care to get the connection issue resolved. They only did wearing but till now they didn't provide me connection. Last 12 days i am following of with customer care guys. Please resolve my issue asap. P

      I have raised a ticket ([protected]) a week ago that my internet connection is not working. They have not resolved the issue but they closed the ticket the next day.

      I have called them again and said the issue not resolved, how could you close the ticket, they have reopened it. But closed it again a day later

      Then i have called them again, why are you closing the ticket without providing the service. They reopened the ticket and closed it again for the 3rd time.

      Its been a week, i am vexed. They haven't resolved my issue but closed my ticket again and again. Now after 3 weeks they come with the payment bill.

      Please help me on this.

        bill paid but still account suspended

        I have done the payment of rs: 7670 for my act fibernet connetion a-max650 on 11th sept. 2017 using net banking from my sbi a/c,
        The amount has been successfully debited from my bank a/c, however, the same has not been credited in the act records, ihave been following up with act helpline no. Since more than 15 days now, but in vain, i managed to log a complain tkt no. [protected], it was closed without my information & my internet...

        I have raised shifting request from k. K halli to 2nd block hbr layout bangalore-43..

        Since 1st october and till now the technical team did not come to install the connection in my new house so so tell me how long should i wait till i get my connection shifted to my new home tomorrow will e the nine days since i raised thrme request please if you want to provide your services u should provided in professional way,
        I called customer car sir will send the technical team to instilling your connection and till date they did not come, please do your jop if not leave it to others

        Sir, i had got a message that issue is resolved but its is bad to say that i did not had get a wifi password til now, so, iam only getting a message of solvency but not the solution

          Its been one week since my intenret is not working. I have made several calls to your customer support team, half of the time it says, all your executives are busy at the moment please try after sometime. And remaining times, your customer support team does fake promises!

          Please look into this on high priority otherwise you can disconnect the connection. You can check my previous cases created in your database, my complaints are not satisfactorily rectified.

          All you give is temporary justification and there is no one who is ready to help!

          Send your executive within one hour (Today - 8/10/17) otherwise i am going to sue the company in the consumer court on various principles.

            I had taken act fiber net connection on[protected]Account id:[protected]. That time it was promised that within a week the connection will be provided. But till now no connection has been provided. Regarding that, i have raised a complaint (#[protected]).. Wrote email to nodal officer and appellate authority, but till now no response. My official work is getting affected. If you are not able to make the connectivity refund the money. Don't give fake promises to the customer.. I could have gone with other services provider. My money has been locked now no option. Very very bad experience from act fibernet. Every time the customer care executive will provide some deadline and it will never be met. First time i see no response from a nodal officer and appellate authority for more then a week.

              Hi, i am lakshmi chekuri and my cust id of act fibernet is[protected].
              I have recharged for 6 months just 2 months back. Unfortunately i had to move my home.

              I have raised a compliant that i am moving my home from rammamurthy nagar to hoodi in bangalore and requested to move the connection i have called the customer care number of times but none picked then i raised the request also but none responded and after a number of calls on the day i was changing my home i was able to reach the customer care. They took the request again closing my request. Then again none called and after few days i have called back them again and then they started taking the details again though i gave them earlier. Then on request in the complain to call back some body called back and told that in hoodi they donot have feasibility and they will refund the amount and asked me to drop an email with my account details. But in the mean time again some body called and said that they would want to check the feasibility again as somebody who checked earlier did it wrong and asked for my details again and that person never called back. I had called back to take a confirmation on this and the customer care person confirmed that there is no feasibility and asked to send the refund request.

              So after that confirmation i have sent the refund request and again one more person calls me and says he would check the feasibility and an email also comes in some time saying that they cann't refund the amount as per their policy.

              This means they are charging me for not using their services as they are not able to provide the connectivity.

              Please help here.

                Internet connection from act fibernet. I paid almost 1447 for the same it's been 1 week still i haven't got connection done. When we call the customer care they don't respond and some talk very rudely. Please help us for the same our money is at stake. We don't know what to do for their ill behaviour.. Everyday i'm calling to technical guy he told me i will come to ur place with in 15 minutes but they didn't came till now. And also i called to that booking guy keshaba he also didn't respond to my call. I[censored]r unable to provide me internet connection then please refund my money.

                  Hi,

                  I have been billed rs.796.50/- from past two years for 50gb of data connection by act fibernet. Accidentally i came across their advertisement page offering connection for much cheaper rates. And i applied for a new connection in their website with my friend's name and i was contacted by their representative for installation within an hour.

                  After telling my location and same package requirement, he told it would cost only rs.645/month!!

                  This was the time when i told him that i already have a connection and i was billed 796/month from more than a year, he insisted on figuring it out and calling me back. Although that never happened. They are not even responding to same query posted via their app on complaints!!

                    I was an act customer in bangalore for more then 2 yrs... I used direct connection to system... Past 3 to 4 months i was started receiving slow speed... From day 1st to 15th. Due date is 15th... I used to pay my bills at 14th of every months. I raised several complaints.. But my tickets are closed with in a day without proper reason. I paid my bills regularly before due date... But except last month i missed the due date... Bcoz of out of station... I got disconnected on 18th... I was really feedup of this service. I requested for disconnection.. But no reply! Then they again activated on 30th end of the month to pay my remaining bills...& disconnected on the same day. Latter they send an executive to collect the remaining balance amount... I informed him to totally disconnect.. But he did not do that...! Next day again the has generated... They are really fooling people of the service.. They provide slow speed connection charging high price. I request people not to go for act broadband.

                    My ACT broadband goes off every week.written 3 mails to ceo Bala malladi of pathetic service but no avail. The technicians and supervisors only speak lies. We end up.paying money every month for loosing internet every week.

                      For past 6 months have been facing constantly internet disconnection issues, this month for almost 8 days i was not able to use internet service from act. I had to buy data connection from mobile service provider & use it. The issue is we have paid the money in advance. I. E for 6 months +1 month offer. Now with such issues our days are lapsed & also for office emergency needs we need internet connection is house for that we need to buy/accommodate from other service providers. Also the process of follow up with act service team its a mental harassment.

                      Now i am writing mails but there is no reply for the same.
                      I am trying to get compensate for same loss. And request a strict action to be taken against such service provider. As they have taken money in advance & not providing proper service.

                      Still the issue is not resolved,

                      again I had to open tickets 1) [protected] 2) [protected], The worst part is if we try to connect to customer care is that we have to wait a lot, & we are charged for that call.
                      Can the Governing body please enforce a strong action & ensure quality service.

                        Dear sir,

                        Beam have requested me to place the ax/fx in our residence and agreed to pay the rent for the same, initially they agreed to pay yearly and later on agreed to pay bi monthly. Beam have removed this ax/fx from our residence six months back and outstanding balance was due to till now and i have been constantly checking with person in-charge over here but never got the correct response, i have been a loyal customer of act/beam for more than five years and even if i delayed the monthly payment for few days act/beam would suspend my connection but a payment from act/beam was delayed for over six months and no action been taken so far. Please check and resolve my issue asap. Below are the details,

                        Outstanding balance : payment from over 6 months and monthly payment agreed is rs700.

                          Internet outage was first noticed on friday 22 sep 2017, didn't logged in from monday 18 sep 2017. Hence, i'm not sure when it actually went down during the week.

                          Multiple calls made to their cc went futile right from friday evening and finally opened a ticket# [protected] by evening of friday 22 sep 2017. To my surprise, they closed the ticket on sunday 24 sep 2017 saying the internet connectivity was restored. I verified the same and found to to be false and re-opened the above mentioned ticket.

                          Today, monday 25 sep 2017 after waiting for 15 mins over a call to their cc, finally one cc exec picked up the call and told that their fiber has been cut. Out of all the connections in our apartment, it's only my internet is down and for every other flat, internet is up & running. I bought the same to their notice and they assured action at the earliest which until now, i don't see it happening.

                          I don't need such a stupid messages from a bot. It's 6th day today without internet. What the heck of a thing you people are upto...? For god's sake have some shame before posting such messages you #######!!! If you cannot bring up a internet connection.., then what the heck of an ISP you are..?

                            I am facing internet issues from last 2 weeks. First of all their customer care is very bad and takes 10 minutes to connect and after connect it takes 15 minutes to connect to executive.
                            Last time i called they said cable issues and again after 10 days when i called (Because internet again stopped) then again same cable issue. I don't know why they are giving this much excuses. Their sales person told me any complaint will be resolved in 4 hours and now they say 48 hours and last complaint took 48 hours only. Why you guys commit if you can't provide.

                            One more commitment was about shifting charges and sales person told that 250 will be the charges and now customer care executives are telling rs. 650

                            Believing on all these commitments i took 6 months prepaid plan but seriously feeling regret now.

                            Still no response. I haven't got any response till date. I closed the connection because they are not feasible in my new area. and now they are denying to give the money of remaining 2 months also. You guys are very very bad at service. I will definitely spread a message for sure that do not take 6 months plan from you.
                            Hi, i want to close my Act Fibernet COnnection.
                            Even i have called to customer care and explained.But still i did nt get any message or call.

                              I have taken new internet connection on 20-sep-17, internet is not working from the next day itself, i have raised a complaint on 21-sep-17, i was told that it will be resolved by 23-sep-17 and it has still not been resolved, i want my internet to be disconnected and the amount to be refunded back to me.                                 It been more than a week we are not getting internet in my house (Srinagar, bangalore). When we call n lodge complaint and follow up, we are not getting any response. When we speak to technicians they respond in attitude manner and false promise to resolve issue.
                                We are irritated and frustrated with connection. When ever we call they say 24 hour from that time.
                                Customer care representative "syed" said no team lead position or manager on floor. All false response they give.

                                  I am using act broadband from last couple of years but never faced any service related issues as such.

                                  I am facing connectivity issues from last couple of months and when i try to call the customer care the wait time is always 10 - 15 minutes which very irritating. I raised this complain almost 15 days back that i was not able to use my broadband for whole month in august and i am not going to pay the bill for that month. No body contacted me back yet and disconnected my broadband connection.

                                  Also, the rental plans are very high, we are getting almost same plans with free landline connection on much cheaper price form airtel.

                                  Probably, that is good you disconnected my broadband and i can switch to airtel now.

                                    Internet is not working from last 10 days in jp nagar 5th phase

                                    Everytime, i call customer support they give some reason and commit that it will be resolved in next 24 hrs. Never got it resolved till today!!!

                                    Make daily calls to customer services and get same answers!!!

                                    Now, they are telling that some swtich needs to be installed and they are looking for some new customer premises to put this box and only then i will get the connection. These things were not told when the new connection was taken.

                                    Horrible experience and pathetic services.

                                    They are not refunding the installation charges... Instead want me to indefinitely wait till the problem gets resolved.

                                      Sir already i raised complain document no. Is 380965. But without activating my service beam money pvt ltd. Mentioned problem resolved. Sir its very hard time they not returning money or not activating the service. Sir i request you please ask beam money to return my money with interest. I lost the lot of business.
