I have been having the act broadband connection for more than 4-5 years and when i raised a complaint on their website stating that there is some issue with my connection while connecting to my smarttv, even without reading the email properly the cust. Care people have called me multiple times and asked if i needed a new connection which sounds like they wanted me to disconnect my old connection for which i have already paid and get a new connection and pay again for the new connection. This is how act tries to cheat and harass its customers.
I even sent emails to the support team, nodal officer as well as the appellate authority (Hyderabad) and as expected there is no reply nor even an acknowledgement from any of them till date which gives me a feeling that the entire staff including the nodal officer, appellate authority encourages their staff to call the customers even when they raise an issue asking if they wanted a new connection so that act can earn the money by cheating the customers.
If there is no acknowledgement per rti act provided to the customer i wanted to know as to why they published the email ids for escalation on their website and is it an eye-wash so that the customers can definitely be both harassed and cheated.

    Act fibernet not working for last 10 days. Daily getting a stupid sms saying it will be fixed by 8 pm same day. Escalated to nodal officer. Field personnel called me to tell they don’t have equipment in stock.

    After 2 years of good experience with act this stupid customer care and field services made me raise disconnection request. I will request all my friends to cancel act connection and move to alternates.

    Very sad and irritated to have such a stupid service.

    in month around 6 times net was frequently disconnected and every time i was call to customer center and they told that in local junction we have the problem, after that they rise the incident and it will clear by end of the day ..
    once again it was gone after few days.

      Hello,

      I have a broadband connection with account #[protected] from more than 1 years with act broadband. This is regarding complaint number [protected]/[protected] &[protected].

      I have registered this complaint on 11th october for billing and cancellation of service. Its three days now, and yet i didn’t receive any solution from your customer care. Even the technical team is not bothered to inform about the same.

      I had call the customer care for over 3 hours to get connected. After i got through to the representative requested for an update they simply said they have closed the ticket without my consent. They dint even understand my concern, and the person whom i spoke to i guess susheel, rizwan and varun was extremely rude and unprofessional with no regards whatsoever, hence i had to hang the phone.

      Request you to please consider my complaint against act bb (Hyd) since these service providers are worthy to be in market if they dont know how to handle customers escalation and not able to resolve the issue. They just a blood sucking insect who feed on customers money and in return never return any good service.

        I had raised a request for shifting of my broadband connection on 10th aug'17 and submitted all the necessary documents, however there has been no action against that. All my calls and mails are going unnoticed. I have already escalated this issue to the nodal officer and the appellate authority as well, however even after doing so there is no response from their end. Not sure how many more complaints be raised??

          I have installed act wifi one month back. It worked for few days and from last 20 days, the wifi is not working. Due to the owner is not allowing the act service to install in the building because they have not taken an permission from the owner. I'm following with the customer care on this regularly. Name vijay was very rude with me he dined to transfer the call to the manager. He says wait for one hour to transfer the call is this the service what act gives to the there customer. I told them to cancel and refund my money back no one is taking responsibility. I have sent an email to anand nodal officer no response from him also. I don't what to do now.

          Around Six Months Back I had Taken Act Fibernet Connection.

          I have taken a Packaged Deal includes Cable Connection & Rooter valid for 9 Moths.

          The Speed as they Promised is not Coming. It is many a Times less than 5 Mbps and Highly Fluctuating.

          Many Times Complained to Customer Care (Not Less than 30 -40 Times) about the Speed

          Each Time the Technician Comes and Without Resolving the Problem closes the Ticket.

          Again and Again I used Complain and same Story Continuing

          I am Very much Frustrated with such worst Services of Act Fibernet

          In the Last 15 -20 Days the Problem is very acute.

          Now the Technical Person is Talking about Problem in Rooter and asking me to take to the Service Center of D- Link.

          Since I have taken a Packaged Deal including Cable & Rooter, for any fault Act Fibernet has to rectify and provide me the Required Speed as Promised.

          For any Fault in Cable or Rooter Why I should go to the Manufacturers of those Items?

          It is Illegal to say that consumer has to resolve himself those problems related to Cable or Rooter which Act Fibernet Provided as a Packaged Deal and charged from consumer as Combo Deal.

          It is also unethical.

          The behavior of Technicians and Customer Care also very rude - Specially the Behavior of Mr Shake Valli is very very Rude and also he dined to transfer the call to the manager or higher authority.

          I really Fed up with such Worst Service (I repeat worst & Worst Services) of Act Fibernet which falsely claims as a leader in the Speed & Service

          As a Consumer I want a solution of getting the Speed of what they Promised and Proudly also advertising and Justice

            I have been noticing that the data usage for acttv broadband (User id[protected] is showing very high inspite of not using so much. I have been repeatedly complaining about the same and am not able to track how this is happening. All i see is a detailed usage mentioned in mb. Am i supposed to divide each entry by 1024 to find the no. Of gb's consumed. Why is acttv not transparent enough to furnish the exact details of the usage. Calling the customer care is of no use as they have some stereotyped answers. Please let me know if any further details are required.

              I have act connection with subscriber id[protected]. I had issues regarding billing and i contacted them many times through email and registered complaints. Not even single time it was attended. So i was frustrated and raised a request for termination of the services. I also told their customer care regarding the junction box that is running on my electricity line. Their customer care number is the worst ever i have seen. They installed the junction box infront of my house without my permission and not removing despite several requests. No response till now on the termination request which was made on[protected].               The junction box is not removed from my house despite several requests. It is running on my power from many days and if you don't do that asap i will cut the wires myself
              Please ask your person to remove the junction box from my house that is running on my power. They bypassed the main switch to get continuous power without my knowledge. I have been requesting for this from many days.

                Hi i am user of act beam internet service provider,

                I am using beam internet in a. S. Rao nagar, ecil, hyderabad.
                My plan is 40 mbps / a - max 650.

                Whenever i want to download (5.4 gb) something like xcode 9 version from apple.com in safari browser in mac mini system.

                The download takes 30 to 40 minutes and it shows the downloading speed is 2 mbps per second.

                I am not satisfying...

                We have a connection with act internet (Account no :[protected] and taken 6 months plan.
                We have paid july17-jan18 bill on 19th july 2017 for rs.21233 using our credit card.in mean time act people called us and said we have not received the payment and asked us to pay the bill. So we issued again a cheque for rs. 21673.92 dt. 21.08.17. Both payments are cleared now and we are not yet received the payment confirmation from act.

                Also we have taken additional 100gb on 28.08.17 with the payment of rs.1002 and now the latest bill showing rs.1002 is payable. Also, once again we received a bill on 01.09.17 stating that we have to pay the bill for aug-17 - jan18 for rs.16425/-

                I can't understand why these people are not updating the payments and sending bills for 2 times for the same period.

                I raised the concern over mail to affiliate also. But there is no response. I am fed up with the services of act internet.

                  We installed act net last month. Daily connection got disconnected and more than 15 times, we raised complaints, contacted their customer service but no use. Evertime, they send a person to correct the problem, in half day again net use to get disconnected. Finally, we got fed up spending much money for phone calls to reach them, so we asked to disconnect our service and refund our advance rent paid. They now disconnected the service and asking us to pay again. For the money, we paid itself they never gave internet service. Everytime they push the day by asking for 48 hrs to resolve the problem and in night hours after 9pm, their customer service man will call to atend the problem just for name sake and closes the complaint everyday. Money, time, and our peace lost because of act. Funny thing is, they are messaging to pay again 940 rupees. Already they have our advance rent, for that itself they never gave connection. I have proof of bill paid, all messages, mails and telephone call bills. Because they can't provide proper internet service, we asked to disconnect the service. So they have to repay our installation charges, advance rent and unnecessary phone bill because of them. If we call customer care, how long it takes to pick you all know, daily i raised complaint, how much phone bill i must have spent. Please help to get our money back.

                      On aug 31st 2017, i asked them to cancel the connection and refund my money. I asked them to cancel the connection is because they were not able to do the installation to my home. By the time of taking money from me, the sales guy (Shikhil gowda) told me that, if in case they are not able to do the installation they will refund me the entire amount.

                      After i raised the request for cancellation on aug 31st 2017 till date 11th sept i have not got any calls from them. Moreover, they have blocked my calls. I called the customer care number from my friend's number, the very next minute they have blocked his number as well.

                      I wanted to check the status of my refund. I sent email but not updates from that as well. Pavithra picked my call and told that i will be getting the refund call asap. But after the call, i have got the text message saying that my invoice has been raise for rs 650 so out 1800rps that i have paid, they are gonna deduct 650 and pay me 1150. Why should i paid for the invoice when the installation itself has not happened.

After waiting for a couple of tm days i called customer care they told me to install gx box and they promised they will install it with 24hrs of the payment its been 8 days no box have been fitted. I would like to terminate my connection with act. If i payed for new connection instead of gx box to airtel i would have got working internet by now. Totally misleading customer service.

                          I took a plan with act about 2 months ago on people's recommendation and since then i have only regretted. They took a downpayment of 7 months after promising me a dedicated service person for my apartments and issues resolution at the earliest. Initially the plan was working fine but very soon in 10-15 days i started getting connectivity issues. Wifi would stop working for 3-4 hours everyday. I raised complaints multiple times but all i got was a mail that we will look into it. Nobody ever looked into it. Now since 20 days, internet is completely down. I have raised multiple complaints but i just get mails that a person would be visiting but nobody visits nor internet is fixed. I raised complaints multiple times, called customer care multiple times but nobody cares at all. You guys just take money at the start and then dont care about customers. I need a proper connection for my work due to which i have had to take an alternate connection now. I want a disconnection now and refund of my money as internet has never really worked properly. I am highly disappointed with the cx and services.

                            I live in vasanthnagar, bangalore. My internet is not working since 2 days. I have raised the complaint from the app/sms, i have called the customer care, however no one is responding and my complaint still remains unattended. I called the field office and he is rejecting all the calls. What type customer care does that. I am very disappointed with the service they are providing. This is the last month i will use act and i recommend my friends not to use this worst service!!

                              We initiated the request for new broadband through act portal. We received the call from act sales executive for document collection and further processing. Yes, sales executive contacted us and collected the documents and made the payment based on the plan selected.

                              They informed the installation will be completed within 3 days. Since it is 6 days from document submission, we have not received any call or update from them. We tried to reach them via email/ call and complaints but no response.

                                Hi,

                                Every week the connection gets disconnected and when have called the customer care; no response from your end. I have raised a ticket previous week, still no response. When i've ask for the details they say the wire or cable was cut in your area and many customers are facing the same issue. Anyways my issue was never resolved within stipulated time. And i am going to raise a termination request now and will try to share my experience with as many people as possible so that they don't suffer after taking this connection. Bad service. Worst customer care executives who are always busy taking complaints that the line is never free.

                                  I was asked to pay nominal amount for the penalty fees and aug bills. I did that, but now the bill for aug and sep is generated. It happened in july as well. This is loot. None of your customer care folks pick the call any time.

                                  I wanted to switch the plan from rapid to swift, and finally thought of disconnecting the connection. But, despite telling your service guy many times it's still not done.

                                  To disconnect the connection neither can i do it from the app nor the customer care guys ever help. I want you to get rid of the service immediately.

                                    I have been trying to disconnect my act account, when i called in the month of august, i was informed that my advance rental plan for 6 months starts on sep 11 and i need to call before that date.
                                    I have been trying to call the customer care since 29th august 17, but i am getting no response.
                                    I tried disconnecting via their app but there's no option to disconnect.
                                    Please address the issue.
