My Act fibernet user id is 11845424, I have been using ACT fibernet for nearly an year now. I have a 100 GB data plan and every month nearly 10 to 15 GB of data would be consumed. All of a sudden on April 4th around 80 GB of data usage was reported. Then on April 6th 40 GB o[censored]sage again. Since this was the first time, I waited till 13th April and reset my FUP by purchasing 60 GB of data. But 60 GB of data got over in around 3 hours on the same day. I made my first call to customer call and registered a complaint on 13th April. Since then I have made nearly 15 calls with each call duration of nearly 10 mins on average. Every time they mention that engineer is going to visit on same day but it has been 4 days and no body has resolved this issue. Please find below some more details:

1. Tickets open: [protected] and [protected](there were 2 more tickets which they closed even without resolving the issue -
2. Act Supervisors who gave false assurances since 4 days: Roshan, Vinod and Ravi

    I had installed act on 31st march 2017 at 10.55 pm. They have generated a bill for march rs.30/-. Having undergone all pains during installation during night hours, in spite of our inconvenience expressed to the installation team. They had wantedly installed to collect the march month bill.

    The usage of 25 gb+25gb got exhausted on 14th april. Which is quite unusual. The individual usage is not provided.

    Act company does not provide a fair data usage. They have their own calculations for data usage.

      I have disconnected my act fibernet connection in jan end of this year.As some payment was pending I cleared the due last week.I have requested them to permanently disconnect the connection, still it has not happened and I am getting call from ACT saying payment is pending for apr which I have not used.If I get call again for same will take serious step against ACT.

        I am new to ACT and have just got the connection yesterday and seems that my data has consumed more than 7GB in a day. I used to use Tikona earlier and i know we never crossed more than 1 GB. That too i don't download and just browse and do my office work.

        This is literally a big scam happening from ACT. I am going to monitor for few more days. If not i will have to legally take some action against these guys.

          I opted for the service and paid the amount of RS 2375 but the technician could not install the device. ACT promised that I will get the refund as they could not provide the service in my area. I paid the money on 31 St march. I have still not received the money. I have called the ACT customer service so many times. They keep saying that I will receive the refund. They have already sent the refund request. When I call my bank they mentioned that that did not receive any such request.

            I am observing unusually high usage over the past 2 months. This happened only after auto upgrade to a 100GB plan.

            Timeline for the problem - for the past 3 months. Exactly after ACT upgraded everyone for FREE!

            I have monitored my usage but don't see any changes over the past 6 months so why is there such high usage ??

            How do I sort this out.

              Dear ACT,

              I am compelled to write this mail as I have already called ACT Customer Care on more than 5 occasions ( Last 72 Hours ) and nothing has been changed so far. We are experiencing a downtime for the last 3 days and I wonder how long would it take more!!!

              What makes me really bewildered is the fact that your guys are so cool about this. Like you know it that nothing’s going to change or something. What’s most upsetting is the fact that I have spoken with 3 different Managers, the last one being Mr. Manjunath and he repeated the same thing that I would be getting a call within 2 hours . Well HELLO !!! Please wake up and stick to your commitment. It’s not a joke I suppose when you commit someone that you would get back on the said time and then there’s totally no response at all.

              Is this the way how you all function??? I strongly believe that irrespective of whether the issue has been fixed or not, is it not your responsibility to call back the customer and update about the progress?? Or is ACT only paying the supervisors/ Managers to give false promises??

              You know, I have been your customer when you all started to spread out in the beginning and I recall those initial days when you all used to work so efficiently on the issues but I guess the management has changed the policies in terms of deviating totally from all of their commitment and duties.

              The last person I spoke is Miss. Theresa D ( 4:13 PM DATE : 11/04/2017 ), who assured me that I would get a call from a higher up and believe me it’s the same thing again. May I ask who is responsible to train people like this in ACT? Do you all get trained to lie to your customers?

              Then there is this Supervisor named Mr. Manjunath, whom I spoke to around 12 o’clock today and he also happen to tell me the same thing that he would call me. Can anyone tell me if Manjunath is still working in ACT??? If he is then is it not his duty to call customers on the promised time???

              I would appreciate if I don’t have to go through all this again in the future. What a waste of time it has been with you guys. Shame on you all !!!

                I'm act customer from last 1 year and now relocated to 2 km from my old place.
                I have opened a ticket from act mobile app to relocate the connection on 7th april 2017 there was no response so called to act customer care and given complaint on 8th.

                When i called on 9th they said the area is not feasible, i informed them there is a box and connection next to my home and requested to reopen the request.

                10 apr 10 am i got a message that the location is feasible for act connection and 12.30 representative called me and said it is not feasible. No local representative/technician called me to check the feasibility simply they are telling the connection is not feasible and closing the request.

                  I'm sanjay and i'm using act fibernet 6 months plan, i recently changed my house and raised a connection transfer request.
                  Complaint id #ticket# [protected], #[protected]
                  Act has 7 days sla to do the connection transfer which has been breached and they are not taking any action against it.
                  I have paid for 6 month of service and not able to user service since 2nd april, my pre-paid amount is getting wasted for nothing.

                  still there is no response from act fibrrnet, I called customer care to check-in about the status they said it will take 2 more days for no reason. I can't tolerate such stupid service after prepaid of 6 months connection.
                  need immediate action against act fibrrnet.
                  Pathetic service, 10 days since i raised the request. Still no response.
                  Requesting a legal action against them.

                    I got a new connection. When power goes then no internet comes, but the promised was 4 hours of back up.
                    I have called around 50 times and raised as many complaints as possible but Everytime they say repeat record and just like that they close the complaints.
                    Worst one can ever imagine.
                    Pathetic to the core their post Service.
                    During sales also very very poor service.

                        My name is NIKHIL JAIRAJ MEHTA- from Bangalore (registered number: [protected])
                        I can't believe how many times I must have called for a simple OWNERSHIP CHANGE request. (CAF number is 517626) This is the most frustrating experience by Far. I registered a complaint IN FEBRUARY and they already collected ownership change amount from me after I submitted my forms. Still- there has been no action on this request. Customer care people (Ramya, Papita and a few others) have actually hung up on me in order to avoid serving this request hoping I'll call again to reach another customer rep. This is height of irresponsibility when it comes to resolving customer issues. If this is not resolved by this weekend, PLEASE cancel my connection with ACT. And I'm NOT going to pay any pending dues. I hope it doesn't come to it but I am considering taking this to social media for the sheer poor quality of service representatives and lack of ability in resolving such a simple issue.

                              I had registered for new internet connection online with ACT and a person name Abhishek([protected]) gave all the details of the connection and took 7k from me and said the connection will be done in 4 days. It's been 15 days I have been following up with this person. He doesn't pick my phone nor did i get a new connection.
                              I have put an email to all the high authority and i did not receive any reply to it.

                                Even we are facing the similar problem and the ACT authorities are not even responding to our countless emails! Even we just watch YouTube and browse the Internet and nothing much but still our whole data gets over within like 15 days or something. Today we received 50 GB and within 4 hrs we lost almost 3.5GB !
                                What are we users supposed to do against it? Is it data theft or something else? We don't know and we are helpless.

                                I was on Holiday for 2 days - 26th and 27th March and went to my native. When I checked after coming back, last 2 days, it is showing as data usage around 15GB. Before going to my natve, I even changed the password. ACT claiming that their won't be any data leakage when contacted customer care. Junction box is at my place. Cust I'd 11273516.

                                  My Account number is[protected], I have been ACT customer for more than one year now, Earlier i used 30 GB from BSNL and it was more than enough for me, and later when i changed my Service Provider to ACT, started with 30 GB and it was getting over within 15 days, later moved to 75 GB and it was getting over in 20 days and now i am with 150 GB and it is exactly over in 30 days. My usage might have increased a bit, but i am sure they have set their counters o[censored]sage in such a way that it gets over exactly within 20 days or 30 days. I was bit confused what was happening and i called ACT multiple times and they always tell we can see our daily usage. My brother moved recently from local cable company to ACT with 30 GB Plan and they were using max 20 GB earlier and now with ACT 30 GB is over within 20 days. And now he is moving back to his old Cable operator for Internet services, as it is much better than ACT. So now it is very much confirmed ACT is cheating all Customers by just saying they are giving more data and they set internally to make sure it shows we have consumed all data within 20 days. ACT, Please check this and ACT quickly before everybody knows about this and start switching to different companies. THIS IS REALLY CHEATING AND NOT EXPECTED FROM ACT WHICH HAS GOOD NAME.

                                    I had raised a complaint for frequent disconnection issues every Sunday and called the customer care several times.
                                    I got to know from the local tech stating that the power connection for the switch is given from a shop and the shop owner shuts down the power every weekend as they keep the shop closed.
                                    I called the customer care again and raised a concern regarding this issue.
                                    My call was conferenced with the Area Manager, I told him the situation and asked him for an alternate solution.
                                    He offered me ways
                                    1. Provide the power connection from my residence and they will provide Rs 100 discount for the same - I denied this option telling him that the consumption of power for switch is more as they connect multiple modems into One Switch Box and they assume the consumption of power is only 5 units per month.
                                    There was a conflict within their own statements as the customer care executive tells that the consumption is up to 8-9 units per month and Area manager assures it to be 5 Units.
                                    2. Take an individual switch directly to my house by paying 2600 as installation charges - I asked him if the switch should be connected to a power supply again - he replied yes and there will be no discount given for this option.
                                    I asked him though Act is so popular then why are these power issue arousing in ACT when compared there are no power connectivity issues in Hathway or other suppliers.
                                    I informed him that if the issue is not resolved, I might have to look for an alternate service provider.
                                    This guy showed so much attitude that he got my Internet connection suspended for this month which is already paid without any notification.
                                    When I called the customer care for connectivity issue, I was informed that my 7 year account was suspended as they cannot not provide connection to this location.

                                    I received a call from ACT Fiber net and they refused to provide me service as they say it is not feasible for them to continue the service now for an existing connection for past 2 years.
                                    The reason is not justified and from the same Switch there are other connections being provided to other users within the same building.

                                      I am using ACT BLAZE plan. it has monthly 100 GB of FUP data with 50 Mbps speed limit and post FUP the speed changes to 512 kbps. in this month march i had visited my home town and had not used internet for 10 days, after coming back, within two days my 100 GB data has been shown as used, when i inquired, they said i had downloaded more than 90 GB of data on my Laptop in two days with 4-6 hours of time span each day which is never even possible. My laptop has only 5 GB of hard disk free space available. it is a clear case of data cheat from ACT. I raised complaint and without proper analysis, they try to close the complaint. Their only in a intention to close the complaint. Pathetic technical team. they are not understanding a simple logic that 90+ GB data cannot be downloaded in 5 GB of free space laptop hard disk. it is a FUP scam that ACT is doing. they are having a faulty data monitoring system and are blaming customers for excess usage. The ticket is still in open state and it has been a week

                                      I am facing repeated non-connectivity of ACT fibernet, Almost everyday I am calling them and opening the complaint, next day the issue is resolved but again the same day evening the service/ connectivity goes back as non-connectivity.
