When I was staying at Borabanda, hyd., they charged me 1200/- for extra wire to reach the internet hub. Now when I shifted my home to Athapur, they are not reimbursing the 1200/- which they charged extra. When I try talking to them, they are telling that they will look into it. It has been over 3 months, till now no response.

    I've raised a relocation request (SR[protected]) on 8th of August.
    Both the locations are in Kondapur, Hyderabad.
    But It's 20 days, and still waiting for an update.. Every time I call customer care rep, they say I will get a call back from their manager. But that never happened..

    ACT team didn't resolved the issue so I have disconnected the service and opted for Airtel fiber optics connection which is working perfectly till date with speed 100mb+

      Fed up with ACT fiber from last 3 months, I took 6 mo tha plan with 50 mbps speed but from day 1 I'm getting only 2-3 mbps speed because of this my work got delayed everytime my deployment got issue because of this my entire team work got delayed and delaying still date, so my manager said took 3 days leave and resolve this internet issue. From last week I'm working on this but issue not resolved, technical person came and saw the things he confirmed that there is no solution on this so I said refund my 6 months money 5020 INR, daily I'm doing 20 calls but no use everyone disconnecting my calls and I keep trying but no use. I need my money back I've all the evidence from Day 1 and call recording and chat history what not all evidence I've that I'm facing problem from day 1. Please take this complaint let me know for further process. I need my money back I'm not free user I took 6 months subscription.

      I wouldn't never ever suggest this waste ACT fiber.

        My enquiry id is[protected].

        I applied for a new broadband connection on August 3rd 2020 after getting confirmation from ACT sales executive on feasibility for a new connection in my location in coimbatore. He did a personal visit also . I was promised that the connection will be given in 2 days .

        New junction box was fitted in and a new line was draped in . But still now no router connection has been given.

        For more than 10 times I inquired ACT customer care service and every time they assured fake promises that the connection will be given in 24 hours / 48 hours and their engineer Steven Raj will contact me. But they refused to give any contact numbers. Still now no any action taken .

        Customer care person don't even know the reason why the connection was still not provided and every time they are assuring that they will escalate to some managers but of no use.

        My friends also called for connection in same area, even now the sales executive is promising saying that new connection will be given in 4 days.

        I wonder even if they ever take any action for our complains.

        What a way to loot public money in such a pandemic situation!!

          Hi I made the payment for a new connection on 13 Aug 2020. Still haven't received any communication from your end via email or phone.
          Called customer care multiple times, received same perfunctory reply the complaint will be resolved in 24 hours.
          No communication yet.

          I am blocked since I have already made payment and there is no refund option, so I can't opt for another provider. Internet is very essential commodity, especially in times like these.

          This request was raised for a new connection at Jaipur, Rajasthan, 302020 location.

          Note: Earlier I had connection in Bangalore location which was terminated 18 months ago. So kindly don't revert saying your connection is disconnected, I am sick of hearing that from your agents. This is a new connection request for a new location.

            I am also going through same. I paid act 2500 on 16th Aug and till now no one showed up to install the gx box. I am working form home and it’s important for me to have uninterrupted internet. Before paying I confirmed with the customer care that the box will be installed at the location in 72 hrs.             Hello,
            After August 4th we are see continuously growth in upload data 20-25gb daily. While in june the total upload itself was 110gb and July was 115gb.but August month it shows 337gb. infact we have stopped using broadband it continues to show upload data of 8gb every 4 hours approx. Opened ticket with act but they are closing the ticket. they promised that they will add data but still no update .

            SR[protected]- closed almost 5 to 6 times even after reopening. Promised to add data but no such thing happened and was informed by technical team that they would send me MAC address for upload data for incorrect usage report.
            New ticket opened and same repeats again
            SR[protected] - closed without any updates. Reopened.

            Still upload data showing wrongly... Act gave 100gb extra last month on 30th aug... And now for sept again upload data is showing wrongly. I am getting calls from [protected] but after I attend the call they are not talking and after few seconds they are disconnecting . I am clearly able to understand there intention to close the ticket. Only 1 technical called in afternoon askede to install anydesk checked few things and disconnected call without saying a word and no call back also.

                  The issue that I have experienced was: I have requested for a new broadband connection on 14th Aug, 2020 Friday. And I uploaded all the required KYC documents and did the payment [Ref no: #20200814111212800110168843940946491 for Rs. 1760] for the CBE ACT Sprint. I received the message from ACT fibernet stating that my payment is received and the engineers will visit the home premises in the next 48 hours. But no one came. Only after the multiple follow ups they visited in the late evening without even wearing the mask at this current pandemic situation. They checked for the feasibility and said they will do the setup the next morning. But none of them came. Again I tried contacting people but still no response from them.

                  Then I spoke to customer care and i asked them to refund the amount and after the call i received the below message from them

                  "Dear Customer, your refund request is registered with Ref SR[protected]. We will get in touch you within 48 hours for your bank details (Bank name, Account Number, IFSC Code, Your Name as it appears on Bank account). Also kindly check for an email from us on your registered email id. Please allow us 04 working days after sharing the details to initiate the remittance. Team ACT."

                  Still i did not receive a call from them or any email regarding this. Even when i called the customer care they did not transfer the call to concern team

                    I had two act wifi connections and as i moved to a new address i raised a request to shift my connections to new address - which was not done after logging many complaints, escalations also.. So i decided to deactivate my connections. I was told i will get full refund for both of my connections one of which is around rs700 and other one rs5600. Till now there is not response from the act team.. I made a lot of calls to the customer service - everytime a new person picks up the call and indicates that the refund is in process and it will be credited in your account soon. But no one update from act team. This is the worst service ever. I really wonder are they really working -?? Or just acting that they are working and looting all customers money

                      I had requested for shifting of my internet connection on 8 Aug 2020, I clearly asked the customer care executive and your your policy, which states it takes 7 days to complete the request.I stated that 14 Aug 2020 Iam shifting to new residence at GMR Garden Route Estate, near Saran Nagar. You promised to install connection in my new place by 19Aug 2020.

                      Since myself and my daughter work from home, from 14 Aug we are using other providers data.
                      We have taken 100MBPS Plan in which out of 1000GB we merely use 1/5 the of the total data.thus giving you a grand benefit. Inspite of it I have to shell out money for internet from other service provider till date 26 Aug 2020 .
                      19th Aug was the date you promised to install your service, I have taken off from office as I work from home, vdue to no internet, Iam in great loss due to you guys not keeping up with your promise.
                      Till date no one has visited my place, and no one has provided an update about the progress of shifting.
                      I have lost my patience.

                        Still i did not get my refund. How dare you can close the issue without paying back my money. Do you think that customers are fool. I need my money back and i need the bank transaction details for my refund. The worst ever cheaters are ACT fibernet. Close your services and better sit idle. You are not at all fit to serve the customers.

                          I have registered and paid money for new connection. Almost 7 days completed but no responses from act. I have registered complaint in act customer care number even through no responses. Now even act customer care people also disconnecting the call while i explaining my issues.

                            My netgear wifi router got damaged due to high power fluctuation in act broadband on 22nd Aug 2020. This is my second wifi router which got damaged due act broadband, I have used airtel earlier and this has never happened. A good wifi router is so costly and if this is how act broadband damages the router, I doubt I would continue using act anymore. I have the wifi connected to belkin power surge protector, if something would have happened in our home electricity supply it would have tripped the belkin protector first instead of that everything else is fine except the router. 2 days back the internet was down for the whole day and the tech came and fixed it. This issue occured just after that within 2 days. I doubt what kind of fix was done which caused me this loss.

                            Is there a way I can get it compensated from ACT. I ignored in the first instance but now it's too much for me to bear.

                                Hi,

                                I have placed a shifting request on July 31st and that request was supposed to be done by Aug 3rd but it wasnt. I have been calling ACT customer care almost everyday and speaking with multiple reps and they promised it would be done and I would get a call from the technician in 24hrs.On 12th Aug when I called the Customer care, they said I should make the payment to avoid disconnection of services completely and will be adjusted accordingly and refund would be given for the days the shifting request was delayed..I have asked them to place a request for refund but they asked me to wait until the shifting request is processed.. On 16th Aug the ticket was suddenly closed and when I called the customer care I was told there is no feasibility to shift the connection.. I wonder how did they determine that without even a techinician coming to my place as I never even received a call..I called them again and Customer care rep told they would reopen the ticket and I would get a call.. This again didnot happen and I finally called them today to disconnect my connection and no one is willing to give me any information about the refund and I was being transferred back and forth from Customer care to disconnection team.. The reps also disconnected my calls multiple times while talking about refund.. After all this mess, one of the customer service rep tells me today that there is no refund policy at all for ACT and they would prorate the amount from the disconnection date and add it to my ACT account though I didnot use the service due to the delay in shifting and I can only transfer it to a different ACT account or I should go back to my previous address and use the service.. This was the stupid resolution provided by the customer care..ACT customer care is pathetic and they are just cheating customers like this asking them to make payment, promising call backs and never providing any resolution. I would want them to refund my full Aug payment made ASAP to my bank account and not the ACT account as they didn't shift the connection and I haven't used the service and not the prorated amount...

                                  I've paid Rs: 354/- for flexBytes+ on August 19th 2020 for 100 GB from web browser through selfcare.actcorp.in and that transaction via Google pay was successful. I've contact CUSTOMER support after some time and they informed that amount was not reflecting under the account and they told me to wait for 24 hours and there was no update on it. Then later I've paid Rs: 142/- again for 20GB from Act mobile app and it was successful. And then on August 20th 2020, I've contacted support again and they told me to wait for 72 hours (which is like ###) to check for the payment info. I've got no time for this and I need my total refund asap back to my account.

                                  And I need 50GB of flexBytes+ at free of cost for this inconvenience as well as my money.
