My plan: ACT Storm 200 MBPS (6months + 2months plan)

Speed ACT Fibernet Provided: 100MBPS - ACT's cable supported only 100 MBPS. I came to know this when field engineer checked the wire during connection issue

What resoltuion I need: I need atleast a little compensation of what I lost.

ACT Storm plan cost : 1125 per month (200MBPS)
The speed I got was the speed of ACT Blaze plan (100 MBPS) which is 1020 RS per month

The difference in amount is 105 RS per month. For 2 years there is a loss of around 2000 Rs from my side excluding the tax.

I am a 5+ year customer using the STORM plan. I can understand there will be frequent upgrade in all the plans, but for atleast last 2 years the plan speed has not been changed by ACT Fibernet.

The customer care is not responding properly and wantedly diverting the issue to close the ticket. They are turning the table to customer itself stating they have to check the wire or speed. They have to understand its not the issue with customer, but from ACT.

I need a proper a justification from ACT, why my cable was not upgraded according to the plan. How could they over charge if they dont upgrade. It is not the duty of the customer to check the speed or cables.

I need atleast half the compensation!

    Day by day the ACT internet service and customer service is getting worse. My internet is down since last 10 days and I have raised multiple complaints (SR[protected], SR[protected], SR[protected], SR[protected], SR[protected], SR[protected]). The technician informed me that someone has cut my cable from the junction box and would resolve the issue with the concerned team. But the issue was not resolved and the ticket closed. Again i raised a complaint and again the same cycle repeats - the technician closes the ticket without resolving. This shows that ACT technicians don't care about customers. They just care about the number of tickets closed whether it's resolved or not.

        This is for the Removal of junction box - Basavanagar Bangalore .I have informed customer helpdesk around 7-8 times with the team and nobody has responded properly. And everyone is telling me this issue has escalated. And I get the same response every time. I have been a customer for the last 5 years and this is how you treat the premium customers.Again, to iterate It's not legal to consume power from my house without paying and having a junction box at my premise.

        Registered several complaints to disconnect the Electricity Connection from my house as I no longer use ACT FIBERNET. My complaint is not yet resolved.I have never seen such a callous & irresponsive manner in which a customer is treated by a Private Internet Service Provider.

          I am Pratima, a registered user of Actfibre. These are rogues who take money and not give connection. Whenever I call these people, they disconnect the call. Very mannerless, cultureless ### they are. I lost two jobs because of these brutes. What should I do now? I want to sue them. Let me know how to go about this. These are shameless fellows. I kept raising tickets. I faced this problem. 7 times until now. The day before yesterday, I raised a ticket. Until now, it is not resolved. I told my employee that it will be resolved. They did not give the connection and now I am out of job.

            I have been a long term act user and i have been facing frequent disconnections of around 2 times a month. The resolution time takes an average of 5 days. So i am left without any internet for around 10 days each month. The cable laying by act is very poor and is prone to get cut often. Act is literally scamming me by making me pay for 10 days of disconnections every month. I am planning to sue act and demand damages for all the loss and hardship caused.

              Hi team, i am facing horrible experience with actfybernet. Applied new connection at nellore (Saraswathi nagar/ac nagar post/nellore) 15 days back. Till today connection wasn't establish by actfybernet. I paid for 6 months i. E 4500 by suggested by actfybernet sales executive on aug 1st and they promised within 5 working days the connection will establish if i allow to setup a box in my house and i agreed as well. After lot of follow-ups they put box but they are saying wiring problem. Till today i still waiting for connection which is almost 17 days i contacted customer care almost every day first few days it was connected after a week i am unable to connect to customer care as well.

                I had requested for a shifting request on the 4th of August within Coimbatore. It's currently August 18th. I haven't got the request completed yet. No call from anyone either on any status. I have been calling the customer care number twice daily asking for updates. All I'm given are false promises of a fix within 24 hours. It's been many 24 hours since each call. I haven't got any connection fix. All they say is that they escalated and it's on priority. Nothing happens though.

                  I have subscribed for a 6 month broadband service from the Act Fibernet in my residence at Bangalore on June'2020, they have generated the bill for 6 months. I have requested for monthly bill split, no response from the service provider.

                    Using act connection for more than 18 months now. But from past 6 months it is not working properly. Sometimes complete drop in connection and sometimes very slow internet. I doubt that they are charging 50 mbps plan but not providing the same to customers.
                    Have raised several complaints, everytime a complaint number gets generated but no one resolved it till date.
                    Connection is now disconnected from their end as subscription is over but who is responsible for days when their connection did not work and i paid for those days.
                    Customer care executives are rude and have no clue.. Everytime they just raise a complaint which no one resolves.
                    Have several screenshots of speedtest report which shows act is not proving 50 mbps plan to me to prove in the court of law if required. Even several ticket numbers details can be provided to claim how many times the same concerns were highlighted.
                    Seeking refund of my money.

                      ACT fiber net s becoming worse day by day. They have charged 150rs for one day delay in payment last month. This month we did the payment in advance, but there is internet connection even after raising many concerns to ACT team. They did not respond and at last they have blocked number

When i informed customer care agent that i am being followed up on this issue more than 4 times, her replied saying that when customer care has informed 24hrs of ETA, no need to follow up. Team will get back to us. But none of them came back with the update. Such a pathetic customer care ACT has

                        I am installing a new act connection but taking too long, they already took 1 week and yesterday I got this msg

                        "Dear Customer, we are required to install a fibre termination switch at your premises. Please allow us 7 working days to complete the activation. Team ACT "

                        I can't wait for that long I have my online exams and online office work, so please kindly refund my money

                          [Acc no:[protected]] My Internet has been down from a week now. I been trying to contact customer support but they keep on sending automated messages and copy paste Emails. The do not have a number In which customers can call and talk to someone about the issue. instead when you call in their number, they send you an automated message. Also, once you raise a complaint and even if the issue is not resolved, they restrict you from making any more complaints (how convenient for them). This is cheating their customers. I payed for three months together otherwise I would have taken another connection. I want my money back

                              I am using ACT broadband for past 3 months, This is one of the bad experience with the service.
                              I called the site engineer for this area and informed the issue, he said he will be attending soon, but one day passed, he is not picking calls even I tried more than 20 times.
                              How could the customer service person can act like that, what kind of training they give for their engineers.
                              how could they lethargically do this.
                              I raised a complaint, but the customer care person from their side is awesome they don't attend call at all. worst ever call I did in my life is to the ACT Customer care.

                              we are not getting any freebies from you understand that first, we are paying more than you provide in the surrounding comparing the other service we are paying more . but accordinly we are not getting the service
                              many days the internet is slow, it will be intermittently disconnect, customer care wont attend, service engineer wont come to location.

                              please tell me the procedure to disconnect the service, which I want to do and pay my refund asap.

Till now i have not received any calls from act on connection and customer service is not picking up the calls nor responding to my emails. This is totally frustrating and really annoyed with your customer service team.

                                Please refund the amount i paid for the new connection.

                                They informed ACT service is not available in My Area "Mannady, Chennai-600001". I requested for refund. They accepted on Aug 19 2020, But still I didn't received my Money, no proper response from Customer care. TOTALLY FRUSTRATED WITH THE SERVICE. They looted my Money.

                                  I requested to disconnect my broadband on 21st august (Called in the beginning of the month) so they said to call around 18th to disconnect - only then they can take the request. Meanwhile - i requested for an invoice till 21st so i can pay the bill, but they failed to do that and want me to pay for the whole month. Now it is 16th and they want me to pay the penalty as well. Not sure why they have a pathetic support - i have used act for 5+ years and i have never been late in making payments. Even now i am ready to make the payment for the days i am using the network but they want only the full month payment. I don't think it is legit.

                                    Dear team,

                                    I have been got a job in recently the company said do work from home because of covid19. So i need a internet connection so i approached some network providers but all the network providers said we need to take 4/5 days for installation only act fibernet said will complete installation with in 48 hours and they said sunday also working.
                                    Sales team person called me and in that phone call only they did payment for 6 months plan.
                                    After that no one contacted me i called to customer care support and their superiors they asked me 48 hours time i said ok but they didn't complete. Again i tried to reach them so many times again they asked me give me a one last chance will complete in 48 hours again i said ok but no improvement again again so many times i reached to contact them finally at any day any time when i call to customer care support they asking me give us one last chance give us 24 hours to resolve issue. It was happening last 1 week onwards.

                                    I paid 9 days back amount for my internet connection. Still they r not responding.

                                    One side work pressure one side their torture in calls when i contact customer care support. Mentally i am very much disturbed.

                                    If i lost my job because of only act. If i lost job act will provide a job for me.

                                    How they did payment without installation.

                                    I am very much struggle with act. Mentally i got torture with act.

                                    Please do a justice for me.

                                      My issue with refund dispute is not addressed yet,

                                      Below are the details for better understanding.

                                      Act account number is[protected],
                                      My act plan is act rapid plus 6m + 1m
                                      Paid amount 6792rs
                                      Plan start date 25 feb 2020
                                      Relocation request raised on 21st march 2020 (Later no data was used)
                                      Used data for 1 month feb to march
                                      After relocation request raised internet service is not used

                                      Received a refund of inr. 2182.74 which is not correct

                                      Since i have used the data for only 1 month out of 6 months plan (Act plan is act rapid plus 6m + 1m, paid inr.6792) rest to be refunded considering 5 months no data usage.

                                      Relocation request on 21st march 2020 sr[protected] which was not attended by your network engineers for more than 2 and half months (April and may) data not used all this months, and without intimation the relocation request was closed by the network engineers (May 31st) saying no new port availability and ticket status was set as disconnection request.
                                      Disconnection request was not from my end since no new port availability for relocation request customer care executive set it for refund saying refund will be provided for the total non usage months including the months i waited for relocation request would be attended.

                                      Refund should be given for months including the months relocation request which was not attended by the engineers and caused inconvenience for all those days.
