I have registered and paid money for new connection. Almost 7 days completed but no responses from act. I have registered complaint in act customer care number even through no responses. Now even act customer care people also disconnecting the call while i explaining my issues.

If they not ready to install new connection, i want refund my money

    My netgear wifi router got damaged due to high power fluctuation in act broadband on 22nd Aug 2020. This is my second wifi router which got damaged due act broadband, I have used airtel earlier and this has never happened. A good wifi router is so costly and if this is how act broadband damages the router, I doubt I would continue using act anymore. I have the wifi connected to belkin power surge protector, if something would have happened in our home electricity supply it would have tripped the belkin protector first instead of that everything else is fine except the router. 2 days back the internet was down for the whole day and the tech came and fixed it. This issue occured just after that within 2 days. I doubt what kind of fix was done which caused me this loss.

    Is there a way I can get it compensated from ACT. I ignored in the first instance but now it's too much for me to bear.

      Refund issue

      I have a refund issue going on currently with act fibernet.

      I have tried to connect to support team through an email but i haven't been able to get in touch with them.

      Last month i tried to bought new connection but unfortunately in my area act fibernet is not available as confirmed by service provider, i have paid rs 4949 through online in act fibernet website. After that one executive...

        Hi,

        I have placed a shifting request on July 31st and that request was supposed to be done by Aug 3rd but it wasnt. I have been calling ACT customer care almost everyday and speaking with multiple reps and they promised it would be done and I would get a call from the technician in 24hrs.On 12th Aug when I called the Customer care, they said I should make the payment to avoid disconnection of services completely and will be adjusted accordingly and refund would be given for the days the shifting request was delayed..I have asked them to place a request for refund but they asked me to wait until the shifting request is processed.. On 16th Aug the ticket was suddenly closed and when I called the customer care I was told there is no feasibility to shift the connection.. I wonder how did they determine that without even a techinician coming to my place as I never even received a call..I called them again and Customer care rep told they would reopen the ticket and I would get a call.. This again didnot happen and I finally called them today to disconnect my connection and no one is willing to give me any information about the refund and I was being transferred back and forth from Customer care to disconnection team.. The reps also disconnected my calls multiple times while talking about refund.. After all this mess, one of the customer service rep tells me today that there is no refund policy at all for ACT and they would prorate the amount from the disconnection date and add it to my ACT account though I didnot use the service due to the delay in shifting and I can only transfer it to a different ACT account or I should go back to my previous address and use the service.. This was the stupid resolution provided by the customer care..ACT customer care is pathetic and they are just cheating customers like this asking them to make payment, promising call backs and never providing any resolution. I would want them to refund my full Aug payment made ASAP to my bank account and not the ACT account as they didn't shift the connection and I haven't used the service and not the prorated amount...

          I've paid Rs: 354/- for flexBytes+ on August 19th 2020 for 100 GB from web browser through selfcare.actcorp.in and that transaction via Google pay was successful. I've contact CUSTOMER support after some time and they informed that amount was not reflecting under the account and they told me to wait for 24 hours and there was no update on it. Then later I've paid Rs: 142/- again for 20GB from Act mobile app and it was successful. And then on August 20th 2020, I've contacted support again and they told me to wait for 72 hours (which is like ###) to check for the payment info. I've got no time for this and I need my total refund asap back to my account.

          And I need 50GB of flexBytes+ at free of cost for this inconvenience as well as my money.

                  I am pratima, user of act internet. Yesterday i have complained here saying that for three days there has been no internet connection. Last evening, there was internet. Now, this morning onwards, there is the same problem. I wonder how and why this is happening. It is not happening to all act users in other localities. They might be using very old material and hence might be giving the same problem over and over. It is not due to rains or winds. I can say that because it happened so many times in summer too when there were no rains and winds at all. I feel that i made a big mistake taking act internet. I could have taken local internet connection. When i was about to apply for new jobs, i found that there is no internet. This is disgusting.

                    I placed an order for ACT OTT device on 11 July, 2020 by paying a security deposit of 1000 INR. Immediately within half an hour of ordering the device, i called ACT and placed a cancellation request. Still for some reason the device was shipped and delivered to me.
                    After that I placed a return request for the device on 23rd July. Note: The box was not even opened.
                    Now, I saw in my ACT app that they have even started charging...

                    My plan: ACT Storm 200 MBPS (6months + 2months plan)

                    Speed ACT Fibernet Provided: 100MBPS - ACT's cable supported only 100 MBPS. I came to know this when field engineer checked the wire during connection issue

                    What resoltuion I need: I need atleast a little compensation of what I lost.

                    ACT Storm plan cost : 1125 per month (200MBPS)
                    The speed I got was the speed of ACT Blaze plan (100 MBPS) which is 1020 RS per month

                    The difference in amount is 105 RS per month. For 2 years there is a loss of around 2000 Rs from my side excluding the tax.

                    I am a 5+ year customer using the STORM plan. I can understand there will be frequent upgrade in all the plans, but for atleast last 2 years the plan speed has not been changed by ACT Fibernet.

                    The customer care is not responding properly and wantedly diverting the issue to close the ticket. They are turning the table to customer itself stating they have to check the wire or speed. They have to understand its not the issue with customer, but from ACT.

                    I need a proper a justification from ACT, why my cable was not upgraded according to the plan. How could they over charge if they dont upgrade. It is not the duty of the customer to check the speed or cables.

                    I need atleast half the compensation!

                      Day by day the ACT internet service and customer service is getting worse. My internet is down since last 10 days and I have raised multiple complaints (SR[protected], SR[protected], SR[protected], SR[protected], SR[protected], SR[protected]). The technician informed me that someone has cut my cable from the junction box and would resolve the issue with the concerned team. But the issue was not resolved and the ticket closed. Again i raised a complaint and again the same cycle repeats - the technician closes the ticket without resolving. This shows that ACT technicians don't care about customers. They just care about the number of tickets closed whether it's resolved or not.

                          This is for the Removal of junction box - Basavanagar Bangalore .I have informed customer helpdesk around 7-8 times with the team and nobody has responded properly. And everyone is telling me this issue has escalated. And I get the same response every time. I have been a customer for the last 5 years and this is how you treat the premium customers.Again, to iterate It's not legal to consume power from my house without paying and having a junction box at my premise.

                          Registered several complaints to disconnect the Electricity Connection from my house as I no longer use ACT FIBERNET. My complaint is not yet resolved.I have never seen such a callous & irresponsive manner in which a customer is treated by a Private Internet Service Provider.

                            I am Pratima, a registered user of Actfibre. These are rogues who take money and not give connection. Whenever I call these people, they disconnect the call. Very mannerless, cultureless ### they are. I lost two jobs because of these brutes. What should I do now? I want to sue them. Let me know how to go about this. These are shameless fellows. I kept raising tickets. I faced this problem. 7 times until now. The day before yesterday, I raised a ticket. Until now, it is not resolved. I told my employee that it will be resolved. They did not give the connection and now I am out of job.

                              I have been a long term act user and i have been facing frequent disconnections of around 2 times a month. The resolution time takes an average of 5 days. So i am left without any internet for around 10 days each month. The cable laying by act is very poor and is prone to get cut often. Act is literally scamming me by making me pay for 10 days of disconnections every month. I am planning to sue act and demand damages for all the loss and hardship caused.

                                Hi team, i am facing horrible experience with actfybernet. Applied new connection at nellore (Saraswathi nagar/ac nagar post/nellore) 15 days back. Till today connection wasn't establish by actfybernet. I paid for 6 months i. E 4500 by suggested by actfybernet sales executive on aug 1st and they promised within 5 working days the connection will establish if i allow to setup a box in my house and i agreed as well. After lot of follow-ups they put box but they are saying wiring problem. Till today i still waiting for connection which is almost 17 days i contacted customer care almost every day first few days it was connected after a week i am unable to connect to customer care as well.

                                  I had requested for a shifting request on the 4th of August within Coimbatore. It's currently August 18th. I haven't got the request completed yet. No call from anyone either on any status. I have been calling the customer care number twice daily asking for updates. All I'm given are false promises of a fix within 24 hours. It's been many 24 hours since each call. I haven't got any connection fix. All they say is that they escalated and it's on priority. Nothing happens though.

                                    I have subscribed for a 6 month broadband service from the Act Fibernet in my residence at Bangalore on June'2020, they have generated the bill for 6 months. I have requested for monthly bill split, no response from the service provider.
