Hi!

What's wrong with you guys? I am telling you n number of times that without listening the entire call I had disconnected the same once I realised that the same is an idiotic promo call. And I had never pressed the "1" key. So there is no question of activating the service. I want my money back.

If you are sure that only Rs. 30 was deducted for the same, then send me the dialled call log details (phone numbers, date, time and the duration of the calls) from 27 July 2010 to 05 August 2010. I am very sure that the balance in the account was approx Rs. 72-Rs.75 on 02/08/2010 morning. Then how come the same became Rs.12 odd by the end of the day. Show me the proof as required.

Regarding the DND service, as per your confirmation the effective date is 20-Sep-2010, i.e. I still have to deal with these calls for the next 45 days?? And what about your promo SMSs which are sent almost every 30 mints?? Has that been deactivated?

Are you aware what is your market status now? Every day there is a new mobile service provider poping up and trying to get customers. And in this scenario you are loosing your customers by providing such cheating and worst service!

I am also having a Vodafone connection for past almost 3 years and had only one issue, which was resolved in the first time itself, while raising it to the Nodal Officer. And I have not even completed 1 year having this Aircel connection, and I had to write so many times to the Nodal officer.

Expecting a positive resolution this time.

What! If I pick up an incoming call, that's my fault??? Do you want to mean that if i pick up any call and then disconnect it, that means I have given my consent towards the debit ??? How can you say that??? I repeat I have not given any consent to activate such bull offers.

And it's not Rs 30, It was Rs 60 in total which was deducted[protected] check your database properly and refund my money back.

Hi Nodal Officer,

My last complaint (ERN-25573-9FJKBP) was resolved in June last week and again I have to go through a technical (what kind of systems do you use God knows!!) error. My Aircel number is [protected]. The previous reference number was 1-[protected].

It’s a pain to complaint to the Nodal Officer’s team now and then. But still no other way, I have to do.

On 02 August I received a call from the number 57000 at 10:05 am. I picked up the call and before saying anything an automated voice started saying
if I want to make friends with people and all those stupid things…. I immediately disconnected the line.

Later in the evening at 5:28 pm I received a SMS stating “Thank you for subscribing to Aircel Friendz zone. You have been charged Rs. 30 for 30 days. To unsubscribe call 570001
(Toll free). …..” And another SMS received at 21:04 pm providing me the chat ID: 5169092.

What is this? How can you do that??? And it’s not Rs.30; it is Rs.60 which was debited from my recharge value.

I had Rs. 72/ Rs. 73 odd available before the amount was deducted and after deduction it became Rs. 12 odd.

I don’t understand is it some kind of Scam or Money Game you guys are playing with the customers!!!!!!!

How can you activate such type of functions without the customer’s consent?? Don't try to play these kind of silly games with me !!

Before I escalate it to the next level, I need the following to be done ASAP:

1. Refund my money (Rs.60) to my account.

2. Discontinue the Aircel Friendz zone stuff (I am neither going to call or send any SMS for the same).

3. Also inspite of sending SMS I still receive these kind of nonsense marketing calls and messages. Stop these with immediate effect.

Do not unnecessarily call me. If you call me you need to confirm that the problems are resolved.

Aircel — After 1 Month also no is In-Active

Hi,
I bought an Aircel no [protected] on 25th December'2010, which is still on active till date (13.02.2011).

The no was de-activated in the next 15 days saying that the documents were not submitted !
Despite fact that the documents were submitted twice no was kept in-active.
When again later i enquired about the cause shopman said that the photograph was not accepted. I showed him my Passport displaying the same photograph....he couldn't say further !
However when i tried contacting the Aircel Company agent for the same he's not at all replying me.

I didn't expect this from a big Communications giant like Aircel to be so neglectful towards its customers.

I am very unhappy to using Aircel. My name is Vidya Prakash and I have a aircel connection [protected]. 1st time Rs6 deducted from my balance and I call in customer care they reliase a complaint and say Its will solve and refund your total deducted balance. On 25th july I get a call from aircel and she ask how much your total balance and I replied Rs16. So, she promiss to your deducted balance will 24 hours. But its not refund.Today Rs 3 more deducted mu balance and when I call in customer care She disconnected my call. So, sir I connect to you, and think you will be really solve my problem and refund my total deduction balance Rs19. If my problem can not be solve. Then I choose a way of PORT.

    I could not able to contact CS people. In our mobile, out going SMS is not going, for which I tried to contact, AIRCEL customer care, but i could not contact them. I tried Customer care No. they forwarded to Customer care executives, only advertisements are going but line is not responded. I tried 10 times. Why bloody perons are not responding? I could not able to send SMS from my mobile to other mobile. Pl respond to this .

    This sounds strange since the Aircel Customer care is very handy and if you want you can visit the nearest Aircel outlet, believe me the response there would be very satisfactory

I am a aircel prepaid user. i try to activate do not disturb service from last 4-5 months but it is not activated every time customer care executive told me a different story like service is activated in 45 days mam but after 2 months wen i call again for this service status then they told you cant apply for this service then i said ok activate my do not disturb service but again after 2 months this service is not activated over my no.

      plz help me n activate the do not disturb service
      There must be some other issues. To clarify and get DND activated you can visit the nearest company store and report your issue.

        Aircel mobile coonection company has automatically deducted my Rs250+ balance to 40 paise only. connection is of jharkhand. my job is in delhi. last time i used aircel was 1 jan 2010. then i used in 3 june 2010 (5 months), and found that my Rs 250+ came to 40 paise. when tyalked to customer care so many times, different types of replies got but never any positive response.         Call the Customer care and try to figure out if any Value added service has been activated on your number.
        Sir,
        My name is Dipak Kumar Debnath and my mobile no is [protected].
        Cota Radio Pack subscription of Rs 10/- has been activated in my mobile without my knowledge and every 5 day Rs 10/- is being deducted from my balance.

        In spite of repeated aomplaint to no 121, 198, 5800018 and 155223, nothing has been done.

        You are requested to deactivate the above pack as early as possible.

          Hi Aircel Team,

          I have been trusting you for getting my money that you have taken from my account. It has been 3 months since your team is trying to get my account right. I have not been informed of any status and I repeatedly waste my money calling you guys to get a resolution. This is pathetic and absolutely incorrigible way to handle a customer.

          I would have contacted your team atleast 25 times over the last 3 months to get someone to help me resolve this issue such that i can use your services continuously. I have received promises from the floor manager Ayaz, 2 supervisors and today Mr.Sathish. So far promises have remained promises and the latest one is a resolution to my problem within 72 hours. Another deadline and another violation is something that i can be assured of when I deal with your team.

          I am not sure how I am to react to your ill treatment of my loyalty that i have shown by being with your services for the past 3 years inspite of having multiple problems like Signal problems etc... On top of all this, one of your collection executives barge into my Mom's place and threaten her with legal action for non - payment of bills. Is it not pure audacity that you have shown to me when you are very well aware that there are outstanding issues on my account and in all ways you would have to pay me back. My Mom is a heart patient and she was flustered by the behavior that was shown to her by this person. I cannot take this anymore.

          I am launching a complaint with the consumer court through my lawyer and would be forced to claim damages for defamation, ignorance, non chalant attitude and threatening my Mom instead of calling me as well as not updating your records with my attempts to get the issue resolved. When you have my number, why is it that a person went over and asked my Mom for the money. Don't you ever update records and take appropriate actions. Your finance department has been working for three months to check how much you have to pay me. This is ridiculous and preposterous from your end to show the ineptitude of your finance department.

          I am putting in a consumer court complaint for this issue and I will have this email trail sent to my lawyer for further proceedings. I am putting in this email to all blogs for everyone to see how Aircel takes care of their customers.

          Thanks for showing us on how not to run a company!!!! Pathetic!!!!

            Sir i have a cell of aircell company. Actuality at morning about 8:00 am (3/8/2010), I am in my bathroom having shower, suddenly a vas call came on my cell no. [protected]. I didn't received call due to bathing at that time. when after having shower i check my cell I found that call is being received. after some minutes i got a sms (thankyou for subscribingto aircell friendz zone. you have been charged Rs 20 for 20 days) on my same cell and i found my 20 Rs heve deducted from cell no. account. I am using Aircell company sim card in my cell
            at that particular time i faced very difficult situation because i have no more balance in my cell and i have to phone to somebody very urgently at that time from my cell. I have no option to recharge my cell account at that very time because there is no recharge center is nearby me. Pls Sir do some thing i want refund of my deducted money and compensation money for the problem that i faced.
            same situation is came up with me last month from this company Aircell, I changed my sim card and brought a new one of another company. This Aircell company is very bad. aircell do not care for its customer. dear i suggest you to change this company pls.

              I am using Aircel my phone no is [protected]. Firstly in this July a phone come from custmer care regading dialer tune services. i never said them to active this service yet they active it and charged Rs 30. then i call them but they did not return money. then i deactive this service and also activated Do not Disturb service after this there phone does not come.But today ( 3 Augest 2010 ) i received a message from them saying that ur Dialer Tune will be activated in 24 hr. and they charged Rs 30 again. When I called the Custmare care service (two times) they said it is actived around 7.30 pm today, But i has not recieved any call . When i ask the reason they just end my call in between the conversion (two times) , Although they were Charging me for the Call. Now I want my money back. They Just made this a business to loot the Peoples.

              There must be some technical error. Try to catch up with any Aircel outlet, they can guide you better.

                Please do some better work, these promotional calls cannot be controlled. It's an advertising medium for promoting companies new products and services and it also educates the customer about the new services started by the company which can be beneficial to the customer.

                  there is a mobile tower right in front of my kitchen which makes me really worried because my mom works in the kitchen for many hours. i have even lodged a complain with the respective department in navi mumbai but to no avail. it has been one year and still nothing has been done.

                  You can get in touch with the local authorities responsible for such installations, they will clarify it. This must be under permissible area for tower installation, which is why Aircel had set up their tower in that area.

                    Sir,this is in refrence to an advt.,that had appeared in AmarUjala in classified section on 21st july 2010(c.nwd[protected] asking for installation of aircel tower in your land asking to contact on these phone nos.[protected],[protected].
                    on this no. they told me that they are from aircel and and asked me to deposit Rs5850 inSBI A/c no.[protected] of Mr Sandeep. for sight insepction..Next day also the asked me to submit Rs6500 to issue a pin code no.which again I submitted and they gave me the no.TID[protected] AND PHONE NO OF MR ROHIT ,and this no. was not in service,who was supposed to do the sight inseption,they promised to return the money if sight was not finalised,I trusted on the name of company.Now they do not pick my no. and no response
                    Please check that they could not loot the public on your name as the have done to my hard earned money.

                        Hi this is gaurav I have a issue about the RUDE and UNRESPONSIBLE custome care of AIRCEL. I call the customer care around the 8.21AM in 30 july 2010 but the did not gave me proper response and rude behave on the call. The customer care represtative name is VIVEK. I have a issue regarding my number [protected] and I want to know about the my number but he told me this facility is not available and then I told him to transfer me call on your seniour after that he told me this facility is not available in this time and then disconnect the line.

                        And after that again I try to call on the customer care but me call has been blocked and now I am unable to call on the customer care number.

                        So please The respected person tell what happen with me and what is this?
                        Suggest you to walk in to nearest Retail stores and get your complaint addressed. I am sure this is a temporary problem and same can be rectified

                          on 28 july I received a call frm Aircel office around 9;30am .He did enquiry abt me and my id . I told him same as mention above .He informed me ur aircel sim no ([protected])has not been activated on the above id .This sim card has been activated on the name and id of "VASHIM KHAN "RESIDENCE SANGAM VIHAR DELHI".
                          After enquiry from Khan associated i came to know that he has sent my original id as i mention above .It is aircel office fault.
                          I m afraid that some can misuse of my id and photo for illegal purpose .
                          so i request u to investigate the matter as soon as possible and assure me appropriate use of my id .

                          A possibility of fraud cannot be ruled out but not by Aircel, It is also possible that the vendor is lying to you. I would suggest you to visit the nearest Aircel store and carry the documents that you have submitted and report the issue. I am sure they will help you out of this

                            Sir / Mam,

                            I am the Postpaid Aircel Customer, I used the number [protected] for the long time, based on that number already i haved 2 additional numbers called as [protected] & [protected] i used & paid these numbers properly.

                            In that time one of their Franchise Executive Ms.Lakshmi ([protected]) market 2 extra nos called as [protected] & [protected] at "149 Plan" & "she told me based on these two extra connections, your current number's (ie: [protected]) bill will be get 50% discount every month".So i accept to get that 2 extra connections. Due to her target pressure she called continuously & get my proofs by mail and handover 2 New Sims wihtout any Plan Details by their field executives on 27.03.10.

                            i am waiting for next months but i have not get any discount to my number [protected], based on her commitment my usage was increased on that month & my mobile bill comes around Rs.4000/-.

                            So i immediately called to Ms.Lakshmi on 09.06.10 and ask about my discounts at that time she reply me "sorry sir it get delay so it will applicable for next month" so i told her to "i want the discounts from April-10 itself because i paid bills of that 2 new connections but discount only not get still". After that my conversation she told to call back to me, like that she call & gave some Zigzag statements, At the time of sale she told 50% discount from your bill but now she told the discount is applicable for only rent, then she told discount applicable for your usage only not for GPRS.

                            I am not satisfied about her Statement, so i send a complaint mail to her company & talk to aircel. then i recieved a reply from talk to aircel customer care but no any effect for that mail. Then i go to Perungudi Aircel Center & gave a complaint letter (that is attached here) that's also gave no any solutions, then i go to Aircel office at Spencer Plaza & waiting for 2 hours i got that franchise's number ie: [protected] but these also not gave any results.

                            FINALLY I EXPLAINED THE FACT VERY BRIEFLY, I DONT KNOW THE MISTAKE'S IS WHOSE WHETHER THE FRANCHISE OR PROVIDER. BUT NOW I AM IN LIT OF LOSE BECAUSE THE MENTIONED NUMBER I USED A LONG TIME BASICALLY I AM AN MARKETING PROFESSION, DUE TO THESE PROBLEM I MISSED LOT OF CLIENTS COMMUNICATION & I AM ALSO AFFECT PHYSICALLY & MENTALLY A LOT. SO KINDLY TAKE SOME RIGHT ACTION GET ME THE SOLUTION & RELIEF FROM THIS.

                              I m a consumer of mobile service provider company "AIRCEL". My cell phone no. is (+91)-[protected]. I m facing problem regarding WRONG BALANCE DEDUCTIONS from Aircel.

                              On 28.07.10 I received two massages from Aircel company regarding the balance deduction against the activation of Rs. 14 internet pack (for 3 days unlimited browsing and surfing). And this amount of Rs. 14 has been deducted 2 times from my account balance with a difference of 12 minutes. And when I contact to Customer care no. 121, the executive said that I have dialed *234*114#, due to that this service has been activated on my cell phone. But as per my best information any this type of number had not been dialed from my cell phone. But the executive did not accepted my words. But when I said to him that if two times the balance has been deducted, is the pack will be valid for 6 days, the executive said that NO it will be only for 3 days . It means, my Rs.14 has been deducted worthlessly.

                              When I told him to provide me the complaint no. regarding my this complaint, he asked me for waiting on hold for some time and after that the call has been disconnected.

                              Regarding the same problem when I talked to the Nodal Officer of Aircel, Delhi, he said that first register the complaint on Customer Care and take a Complaint No. from there, after that he can tell me anything or take any action on this.

                              And for getting the complaint no. when I called to customer care again, the executive said that the information of only one time deduction of balance is showing on the system and 2nd deduction is not updated on system. And It will be updated with in 4 hours.

                              And when I called to Customer Care after 4 Hours the executive named, Mr. Deepak told me that I have Dialed *234*114# two times that's why my balances have been deducted two times. When I insist him to give me any complaint no. he transferred my call to his Senior. The ring of that transfer call has been rang for more than 30 minutes but no senior has picked up the phone. At least after the call duration of 40 minutes I have disconnected the call helplessly.

                              Yet I did not receive any satisfactory response from Aircel.

                              My problem is that Firstly I did not Dial any number......................
                              And Second thing is that If any number has been dialed from my phone (by mistake), why two times deductions has been made for the same facility and the facility is also not extended against the 2nd time deduction............

                              What is this and What type of Services is provided by this Telecom Service Provider.
                              This is only a Cheating from Aircel Company and For this cheating there is no way to get any Justice and I don't have any ray of hope to get my balance return. I have only the way to waive off the services of Aircel.

                              My total Loss is of Rs.14 + Rs. 14 + Rs. 1.50 (for 1st time customer care call) + Rs. 1.50 (for 2nd time customer care call) + Re 1 (for call to nodal officer) + Rs. 7 (for 3rd and last call to customer care). Total Loss = Rs. 39.

                              Now I m thinking to leave the services of Aircel and to take this matter in Consumer Court.

                              Caller tune is a automated Value added service and  cannot be activated without the prior customer consent. Promo calls and messages can be the reason  when responded. I would suggest you to activate your DND service which will block all such messages and calls.

                                am silambarasan my mobile number is [protected].i recharged for pocket internet service on 27/7/10 at 9.00 pm.but there is no activation for an hour.so i registered a complaint and the service request no is[protected].in order to know the status of the complaint they asked me to call customer care.so i made a call on 28/7/10 around 10.00 am,but there is no response from the customer care. from that time i have called thrice but there is no response.i have been waitin for 3mins,2mins and 3 mins respectively but they charged me 50 paise for every call.am a aircel customer , am calling aircel customer care then y i have to pay for these calls.customer care is to provide service for the customer not to get charges from that too.its a not fair.then wats t need for customer care.better throw it.no need of customer care.am i listening to any songs for setting a dialer tune,am complaining about their service ,for that we have to pay ?.one more thing they didint provide settings for internet but they will take the timimg from the moment i recharge with pocket internet.so i will be losing two days of service. its sure aircel going to lose their customer if its going on like this.i hope they will take neccessary steps as soon as possible

                                    I Sameer R. More on 23rd i bought the aircel sim card([protected]) the card cost was 60rs with the talktime of 120rs (in 1st month 50rs ,2nd month 40rs, 3rd month 30rs) i called 123 to activate the sim card after activating the sim card i just called my friend to confirm whether outgoing calls are going properly and then i removed the aircel sim card and put the another one which i use regularely after 2 days i put the aircel sim again in the mobile and checked out the balance the balance was 18.40 only, i called up aircel customer care there Ms Shradha Joshi told me the surprising thing which was very shocking to me. She told me that i have sent 200 plus smses on 23rd on a single number, which she did not tell me. If you see my history with the other operator (i.e idea) which is my regular sim card I never ever did more than 5 smses on a single day. This is a fraud that AIRCEL is doing and needs to be stopped immediately. Please suggest me how can I proceed further against AIRCEL

                                    This is indeed very strange, I believe there is some technical issues, why don’t you visit the nearest company outlet in Thane and report your issue . I am sure they will resolve it.

However, for the past many years I have been charged the monthly rentals of Rs 175 per month on the add on number [protected] when I had requested to deactivate this [protected] from my statement and not to charge any amount, as this mobile was lost almost in the same month as it was started using by my son. I had made several requests on this but with no action from your end.

                                        I was shocked and surprised to see this amount of Rs 175 per month monthly charge continuously all these years for this mobile [protected], when this mobile was lost and not used at all from the first month itself (as mobile was lost within few days of its activation). You may very well verify this from my previous several years statement with the usage is shown as "zero" for this mobile [protected].

                                        Please therefore de-activate this mobile[protected] with immediate effect and also reverse all the amounts charged on this mobile[protected] for all these years and confirm immediately per return.

                                        I spoke to your helpline executive Ms. Bhanu this morning Monday the 3rd May 2010 on this and I am sure she must have registered my complaint.

                                        I await your immediate response on the de-activation and reversal of monthly charges debited so far to my account on this mobile[protected].

                                        I was shocked and surprised to learn from your helpline officer that you are continuing to charge the monthly rentals (I dont know if you are charging any other amount) even in the current month for the mobile [protected], although I have not yet received the bill from Aircel. If you are charging anything on this mobile anymore, I will have to take it up seriuosly with higher authorities for this indofferent attitude by your organisation to a valued customer, despite my repeated requests.

                                        Pls make sure that there are no more further charges for this mobile [protected] with effect from 20th May 2010, as confirmd by you in your below-mentioned mail, failing which I would have no option but to take this up for serious further and immediate action.

                                        1. Please read the mail trails below very carefully.
                                        2. Yesterday, the 7th July 2010, was a "BLACK DAY" for me. For the entire day, literally, my mobile no [protected] was totally de-activated by your services.
                                        3. During the day, I had spoken to many of your customer care executives who very easily said "SORRY" and promised to restore and activate my mobile within an hour or two hours, without attaching any seriousness to it.
                                        4. I was totally out of communication for the entire day and I realised that my mobile was activated again only as late as 10PM or so.
                                        5. I have been using Aircel mobile service for more than 10 years and this is the treatment for an age old customer like me!
                                        6. There has been no communication from your end for my below-mentioned mail of yester date.
                                        7. I would like to take it up to higher authorities unless you choose to reply with reasons as to why my mobile was deactivated. One of your customer care executives mentioned and apologized that there was a mistake in deactivating my mobile (you had wrongly deactivated my mobile[protected] instead of[protected].
                                        8. Surprisingly, this mistake has happened from your end for the second time and therefore I would like to be compensated for the total loss of one days communication.
                                        9. Unless the rule works both ways, customers and the service provider cannot work together qualitatively. In as much as you charge penal and late fees for late payment by a customer, you should also bear the pain the customer experiences due to your repeated mistakes.
                                        10. I would appreciate if you would please reply to this mail immediately and credit my account with Rs 1000 as penal charges for this serious lapse from your end. As explained above, please read the following mail trails to understand the sequence of events in this regard.

                                        1. I am spending more time than is necessary with Aircel and my complaint mail dated 22nd July 2010 as below is still unanswered.
                                        2. I have spoken to as many as 15 helpline executives since yesterday and everyone says "sorry" and promises to restore my STD, ISD and National roaming facility within 24 hours and I have now gone through many 24 hrs and nothing has been done to my mobile, in this regard.
                                        3. Unfortunately, every time I dial Aircel helpline ([protected]) a totally new executive picks up the phone and asks me to repeat my compliant story all over again. Is there any system of storing customer complaints against their mobile number in your database; or your customer care executives just listen to the story and forgets it..??
                                        4. I have lost considerable amount of business time and would demand Aircel to credit my account with a nominal amount of Rs 3000, if not more...
                                        5. Customer care is saying sorry without a definitive time to resolve issues. There has to be SLA's for every service. In as much as Aircel levies penalty charges for late payment of bills, Aircel in the same way should compensate the customer for their inefficiencies and casual attitude to customers.
                                        6. I am a 12 yrs old customer with Aircel and am now wondering if I should lodge a complaint in the Indian Consumer Forum for an appropriate action for a common citizen of India like me and others who are pained like this every day.
                                        7. Depressingly, there has been not even a single mail from you to convey your concern or an apology for your indifferent attitude that is being shown by you to me.

                                        This is strange, the CC executives of Aircel are known to be very useful. If you still have issues, try visiting the nearest Aircel store. I am sure you will get all possible help.
