    Namaskar, I have got postpaid connections after changing my prepaid connections. because of more billing / (more what I am expected) Now i want to change my post paid to prepaid without changing my number. (Actually without changing my prepaid only I have got post paid connection)

    Now the problem is I want to switch over to prepaid connection with the same number. I have submitted application to rechange & cut my post paid connection.

    But the Service Provider (post paid) in my City telling that it is to be done by Manager - Aircel who changed my prepaid to postpaid.

    May please show some light to come out from this problem.

      Please guide my what shall i do. this is the second time that my amount has been deducted from main balance for using gprs. I am regular user of 98rs recharge which is for unlimited use of gprs from aircel. One day the aircel has deducted my 102rs for the use of gprs recharge. when i asked the customer care then they said this is how they are earning and this is a trick, and they said that my recharge was expired.How can they deduct the amount without information i dont know. Now inspite of taking all the care , today again they have deducted my 165rs inspite of recharging with 98rs. and they same i have conformed with customer care also. but now the amount has been deducted. Please guide me what shall i do.

      Well I have been using the Pocket internet pack for a while and never faced such problem. There must some technical issue which is causing such deductions, try getting in touch with the nearest company store.

        Dear Sir,

        MY mobile number is [protected] . 38 ruppes has been deducted while am not used this phone. This phone was switch off two days due to battery problem. After two days when it got repaired 38 ruppees deduted. After repeted compliant aslo cutomer care excutive dissconecing calls and they bared my number to cutomer care for 15 days. Again i called thaey told gorgot this we will not pay give complaint in consumer or any court we do not bother The similar case happed to my friend as well .

        Please help. AirCel has stared monoploy. Taking minimum 30 minuted to reach cusomer care. afte that they disconnect the call or put on hold speaking to collgue for minutes together.

          I took aircel connection septembe 2009. till november it was working. then a problem started regarding the message. it was not opening at all. i complained to customer care. longed a complaint. they told they will replace the sim and has to pay 50/-. why should i pay. its their duty to replace or rectify the problem.
          It’s a big problem when your messages don’t open on your mobile. Why don’t you visit the nearest Aircel store and speak to the technical personnel present there – I am sure you will get a solution for your problem there and then

            i had deposit of Rs. 40, 525 including fees. i had receive company letter but the company representative not visit my home and their office also not found they have provide me two number but when i call nobody pick up the phone please do something

The caller request me to hear him then take a decision, to take a the offer or refuse it. However i had denied already and did not any confirmation. He then tell me activating the dialer tune and before I interrupt him , he said thanks you and cut the phone.

                          I am Mrs Indrani Mitra having a prepaid mobile connection [protected] with AIRCEL.
                          The 'Aircel' Moblie prepaid services has adapted the unfair practice of subscribing their products eg 'Raatki baaki' without my consent,anytime, and deducting charges from the pre-paid balance. Even today also they sent a message that the above service is 'renewed'. They had done the same thing a week back. This has been done despite 'DND' activated in Feb.'10 and strong protest to CustomerCare on 04.10.10 at about 3PM.
                          Talking to the concerned 'Customer Care' is of no use, because on several times on this and similar occasions, they flatly declares that I have subscribed to their offer and that is in their 'database' ! They then advise me to deactivate these by sending SMS to a particular no. I suspect that this subscribing to such products -'everytime' is an automatic generation in their computer, otherwise, how everytime these subscription gets repeated when I have never given any consent whatsoever ! And it is a very funny thing that they will go on making such forceful subscriptions every fortnight/month and I shall have to deactivate on each occasion (in the meantime the charges have been deducted) ! Why should we be subjected to such trauma? Why should the mobile service providers take consumers on ride ?
                          I had registered an on-line compliant to their customercare(through their website) on 04.10.2010 at 10.35PM but no reply uptill now. I demand a strong action against such 'fraudulant' practices and all such deductions made by them since about 1 1/2 years in the name of subscribing to 'Jokes','Bedtme Jokes' and so on ---must be paid back to my prepaid balance.
                          I can of-course leave this particular mobile connection from this service provider - but I want to bring to your notice that such cheating practices are going on and the hapless consumers suffers ! Even they may not be able to notice these things as only few persons keep track of their prepaid balance after each and every call !
                          This service provider also does not have the system of showing the corresponding call charges and available balance after each call.
                          This is very strange, I would suggest you should report this at the nearest Aircel outlet in Bardhaman. I am sure they will help you sort this problem.

                            In last month(Aug 10) bill is more then my limits.I am checking my balance on daily basis . I found my bill Rs -1200/ limits till on 1st Oct 10.
                            on the 5th Oct 10 i got massage from customer care that the the generated bill amount for Oct month is 2390 . It is huge amount of my bill. when i call CC my call is attending by Swarswati.
                            he explain my bill .he told me that there is GPRS Roaming charge is more then near about Rs : 1200/ for three days.i told them that i am using GPRS on manual selection of Aircel N/W .they told me there is charge 10p/kb for using GPRS in Roaming .but t told them i did not get any confirmation MSG.regarding GPRS charge in roaming.i got only call rate charge MSG on manual selection of Aircel N/w .in that MSG there is only expiation of incoming and outgoing call & outgoing SMS charge are given. when i activate my GPRS in my handset.Customer care Executive told me there is fix charge of GPRS on monthly basis which is 98/M.it is free in all area.but in roaming it is free only manual selection of aircel N/w otherwise on other N/w it is chargeable.when i told CC lady to transfer call to yours Senior.On wait of 35 min some senior person(Rishikant) attending my call but he is unable to give satisfactory answer.i told then to note down my complain .He told me we cannot take complain because of system is under up gradation.I am really upset what kind of service you are offering .at time of activation gprs CC executive told me wrong information about GPRS charge.
                            this connection on account of METRO WIRELESS ENGINEERING .We are using 150 Aircel postpaid connection.kindly correct the Aug month bill or Wave off the Gprs Roaming charge otherwise we have look another service provider
                            Kindly look into this matter deeply and reply ASAP.

                              Thanks for writing to us. Please follow the following steps for National MNP:

                              1. Fill the CEF, submit POI, POA along with one passport size photograph.

                              2. Send an SMS ‘PORT’ to 1900, you'll immediately receive an 8-digit UPC (Unique Porting Code) which has validity of 15 days for all circle except JK, NE, AS which have a validity of 30 days as SMS. The SMS will be charged as per your plan.

                              3. In case of national MNP, the UPC code can be generated in home location or in roaming / visited circle.

                              4. Communicate the UPC code to the Aircel Retail CCE (of the operator and at the circle where porting is desired) so that the MNP process can be initiated.

                              5. The MNP process takes 7 working days (14 to 15 working days for controlled states).

                              6. In the process, there would be a time slot of two hours (between 10 pm to 5 am) when the existing SIM would get deactivated and the new (Aircel) SIM would be activated with the same number.

                              7. The exact date and time would be communicated through an SMS in advance.

                              8. The customer porting in Aircel will receive a blank Aircel SIM, which gets activated once the porting is completed.

                                I am forwarding this email to let aircel management know, how much tough time I am going through with my bills.

                                In the month of May I called customer care department to activate the 3G services which they have done after few days I called them back to cancel it as I want to cut down my expenditure on bills because at that time I lost my job, they asked me to send an SMS stop 3G to 121 which I have done and later on I called them back and they told me services will be deactivated in 24hrs. After couple of days I called them to check whether my 3G services are been cancelled or not customer care rep said my services are been cancelled. Then later I got call from aircel regarding retention plan they said I will be getting 2GB(GPRS) of internet 1000 mints and 500 MSG free It was really good deal I liked it and loved to be with aircel hear on.

                                Then I made a payments of around 1100RS, later on I call aircel to check what plan I am in to and whether my payments are been updated are not they said it has been updated and I am in the same retention plan what I was in informed by your retention team. But they never told me my 3G package was not been canceled I was using internet and speed what I was getting was too good I got a dought and called customer care to check what services I am getting, whether I am getting 3G or normal GPRS I called them around 5 time and they said me its normal GPRS I carry on with that within two days I got SMS from Aircel stating my credit limit is above to exceed again I called customer care and check with them why is that’ I got that’ SMS again Guess what???? Rep told me, he asked me to ignore that’ MSG which I did according to him it was send by mistake to me.

                                Again after one day I get an same SMS stating my credit limit is around 95% please make payments.. Then again I called customer care and spoke to rep her name was Svarnamala she told me my bill is so high because I am using 3G I told her I have cancelled 3G long back why is that I am being charged, spoke to one of your supervisor Ganesh he assured he will look in to that matter which he did up to his limit what he can does and 3G was cancelled in month of AUGUST.

                                Now it’s been around two weeks I am calling Aircel still my issues is not been fixed and I was been asked to pay around 1000rs again which was not my fault.. I have been with aircel around more than 2yrs I believe I never stopped any bill or asked for any discounts. More ever I don’t get any bill at my home I placed the request long back for this which was never resolved till now I trust aircel i get my bill through SMS and I Pay directly.

                                I want to Aircel to please check on this and reply to me I really don’t want to go change to other network all my friends are with aircel and from the day one I really loved to be with Aircel family.. I Also referred all my friends to Aircel I can give you all those numbers and for this reason I don’t want to move to other network and my friends moving as well we are really happy until now the place where I work we also Aircel and Vodafone stores I always ref all my friends to be with Aircel, I would request Aircel to please check on my account and get back to me as soon as possible on [protected]@dell.com .if not [protected]@gmail.com

It is working good. but the problem is when i call to 121 or 198 that providing some options for different departments. If i select any option that is connecting to only 3g and Internet department. I am facing this same problem from Sep 15, 2011. I have given so many complaints on this problem. I talked to so many customer care executives. They are telling me " Select right options then it connects to required department.". But if i select any option this is connecting to only 3g and internet department. Some customer care executives disconnecting the call while talking to them. Their opinion is problem is on my side. I have given complaint they didn't give complaint number. although the problem is not solved. on sep 28 once again i have given complaint on the same problem. Then they gave complaint number. and i think 4th October i got a message from aircel. that is "your sr no. 1-[protected] has been solved successfully on 4th of this month." . But the problem is not solved. Once again i met the Aircel Store in tirupati. They told me complaint registered. but complaint was not registered. I have given so many complaints between sep 15 and today. I talked to Architha Who is the floor supervisor in aircel organization. they told me " problem will be solved with in 24 hours". And recently i told my problem to Surekha who is the Team Leader. The aircel store employees ( executives) also tried to connect to required departements from my number. But they couldn't connect to required departments. When they call to 121 or 198 then also that connected to 3g and Internet departments only. The person Who disconnected my call while talking is "Chandramouli ( Executive)" So what iam telling to you Kindly solve my problem with in 24 hours.

                                  I am using Aircel pre-paid connection for the past 3 years. My number is +[protected].

                                  For me, to be honest, there is no problem considering the service, network or call charges. Last week, (exactly on[protected] I've noticed that my balance is suddendly reducing without making calls or sending messages. Then I called the customer care complaint desk at "198" from my aircel number. The Customer Care Executive informed me that you have activated GAME SUBSCRIPTION while surfing on the net, which cost is Rs. 5 per day. I wondered how it could have been happened.

                                  However, I don't want go to deep in this issue, making questions like, why, when....etc. I requested the Customer Care Executive to deactivate the subsription and registered it as a complaint with them. The complaint number is [protected] dated[protected]. The Customer Care Executive told me that it would take 72 hours, and after that it would have been deactivated.

                                  Five days later, on 5th of October, again my balance got affected without making calls or sending messages. I called the customer care and asked the status of the complaint made earlier. He told me that there is some problem in their systems and it would get deactivated within 72 hours. Again I registered it as a complaint and the number is[protected].

                                  Even today, (i.e. 8th of October) they are reducing my balance by rupees 5/-, I called the customer care and registered it as complaint with complaint no. [protected].

                                  I don't know when will they deactivate the subscription (which I have never subscribed).

                                  Please help me to approach the appropriate authorities to resolve the issue.

                                  On 8th of October an Aircel customer care executive called me and solved the said issue. Thanks to Aircel for acting immediately on my complaint.

                                  Since the issue solved by the Aircel, I want to remove the complaint, but I don't know how to remove it, that's why I'm adding this through comment.

On 6.10.2013 its validity was expired, immediately very next day i called to cus.care for updated tariff and they told me to recharge rs.227 for 3 month validity with 1GB every month 3G speed. Then i recharged the same:- Txn no.KOR[protected].10.2013 at 09:40:17 pm). I use this sim by dongle. Immediately my dongle started working. But when i again connect it on 9.10.2013 at 8 pm, it is not working. I called cus. care immediately and they could not explain properly, they said your sim has been reactivated, your tariff plan is also ok but due to some temporary server problem you r facing so and they never took a complain register, after few time it will work. but upto 10.30 pm it was not working, After that communication i never connect with cus.care through this mob no. I think i v cheated by aircel and finally they keep some expert cus, care executive who know how ignore their responsibility. Due to only these reason i could not open my net banking for transferring some urgent fund. so i want a legal punishment against aircel and their executives. my personal mob no- [protected].
