I am very much disappointed about the quality of refreshments being sold in the Big Cinemas Galaxy Jaipur.My family, specially the kids were very excited about watching the movie Raavan in the 9.30 pm show on june 27, 2010 .The kids as always demanded Popcorns and cold drinks in the interval.I purchased 6 cold drinks and 5 popcorns Big size.To my dismay all the popcorns were semi cooked and seemed to be very old from the smell Even the cold drinks were without any soda!!!!!!! I am sorry but I suppose I have decided not to go to any Big Cinema for a movie any more. and i suggest others also to follow the same from my experience!!!

    I have booked tickets through BigCinemas web site. My money is debited from the bank but there is no confirmation from the Big Cinemas and I got the error after booking tickets.

    There is no response from the phone numbers they have provided. There is no customer care phone number. No one gives a damn...

    I dont know what should be my next step. I lost my money for nothing.

      Big Cinemas are cheating people.

      On their site they say the price for first show is Rs.70/- but recently when I & my friends went to watch the movie "Prince of Persia - Sands of time" on Saturday we were asked to pay Rs.110/- per ticket for a 10:30 AM show. When we asked why this special rate of Rs.110/-, is it for weekends only? The counter person told that the rates are not special & applicable on all days for first show & we will be getting Snacks & Cold Drinks for that extra 40 rupees charged. I told him we don't want snacks & cold drinks.He told me that it is compulsory & we will have to pay Rs.110/- per ticket.We all friends returned from there.Now this is disgusting, why the hell they are advertising the wrong rate of tickets.They should mention that the rates are Rs.110/- including snacks & cold drinks.

      On their site they say the price for first show is Rs.40/- but recently when I & my friends went to watch the movie "GUZARISH" on Saturday at JYOTI BIG CINEMA, NANDED, MAHARASHTRA we were asked to pay Rs.70/- per ticket for a 10:00 AM show. When we asked why this special rate of Rs.70/-, is it for weekends only? The counter person told that the rates are not special & applicable on all days for first show & we will be getting Snacks & Cold Drinks for that extra 30 rupees charged.       yaa...mein tuoo at Rcity BIG cinemas ghatkopar...They mentiones on there site that it will cost 100rs per head ...but me n my friend ended up paying 380 rs for 1st show of "NO PROBLEM", i asked why we are paying xtra 180 Rs, counter person told me that they are giving snacks which are compulsory to buy with ticket...is it compulsory to buy and eat, if i don;t want to...you tell me!!
      What do THESE PPLS (BIG CINEMAS) think abt public?? If sum1 want to see morng show on cheap rates, they offer him/her Ticket wid meal compulsory... I DONT WANT 2 EAT THEIR MEAL THEN Y D HELL THEY R FORCING ME...???

      Its must be my choice nt THEIRS... IF THEY WANT TO OFFER MEAL TO ME THAN Y DNT THEY OFFER IT FREE OF COST SO THAT I CAN DROP IT INTO DUSTBIN EASLY...!!! IF YOU (BIG CINEMAS) HAVE GUTTS, JUST CONTACT ME & GIV ME A JUSTIFY REASON...!!!

        I had booked tickets on 17th for Kites movie for thursday premier show,,, the money got debited from my card but i did not receive any confirmation for the same... when i checked at the ticket counter they said that the tickets are not booked.... Till today the money is not yet refunded...Please refund the money as soon as possible.

        i had booked a ticket for rajneeti on 7th june 2010 at 1045hrs at BIG CINEMAS, BANGALORE.

        Booking id : BAWB[protected].

        The show was cancelled and i was told the amount will be refunded to the account as it was a online transaction after 1 working days, which was not done. After 1 month, i met the manager, he assured it will be refunded within 3 days and couldn't do so earlier due to IT problem. Now its been more than more than 70 days and still even after many calls, the amount is yet to be refunded.

          Recently i went to watch Iron Man2 at Big cinemas chinchwad. The lady at ticket counter wanted to buy food combo along with the ticket. She had the guts to say that it was mandatory. When i threatned her to call her manager she just gave me the ticket.

          I guess the top management forces its employees to force sell them.

          We faced the same issue today. For a morning show of Dabangg everyone was being forced to buy 2 Samosas/PopCorn and 2 cold drinks for Rs. 130/-, whether they needed it or not. Even the manager of Big Cinemas in Chinchwad, of the Pimpri Chinchwad area was supporting this and when we complained they just asked us to go. This is extortion by Big Cinemas and there should be action against such consumer exploitation.
          Unfortunately very few people in India seem to mind when they are forced to pay out their hard earned money. They are either scared or don't raise their voice. It is actually shameful that this generation follows one which fought for independence. Today people will not follow simple road rule but when forced to pay will buy tickets from organisations like Big Cinemas.

              When i got my CC i not use that card any where after that only my CC account get attached to Bajaj policy. So i right a letter to bank regarding this problem. I requested them to close down this card due to this policy problem. after that also it showing in my CC account over due payment. Then i had talk with bank and settle down this account and i paid them amount and i close my CC totally. But still they not update about this. and because of this i am getting problum

                On 22nd Jan I went to see Avtaar in Odean CP . The picture quality was very poor , It has got the worst screen . Please do not visit Odean CP , DELHI . I got my movie Avtaar 3d spoiled due to bad shady screen . Please do not visit . Theater manager should be punished . He should compensate everybody for cheating .There was review in Times of India clearly mentioning the problem with Odean Big Cinema CP but due to proximity and not taking the caution seriously I went to see beautiful movie Avtaar . The beauty of movie was halved by poor screen and picture quality

                  I have brought two tickets for 3 on 5th january of gold class which cost rupees 120 each.
                  I was charged rupees 310 and was told that they are giving me two food coupons of rs35 each which are compulsary.I said that i do not want these coupans but they said without them i will not be given a ticket.
                  I want my money back and hope this will not happen in future.

                  Few days in pondicherry big cinemas jeeva rukmani counter selling in platinum and diamond only outside selling in manual ticket gold ticket 120 rupees, silver ticket 50 rupees . i am coming from 42 kilometre in watching cinema in your theatre but gold ticket not selling in your counter but outside selling in yyour theatre manual ticket. so complaint immediatley.

                  in greater noida...the morning show costs rupees 80 only but they charges 150 rs ...i dont know what they are trying to do...they only want to earn money...they said combo pack is compulsory...then what is the need to keep morning show cost cheaper if we are paying charges equal to evening shows...

                    I went to watch Avatar at BIG Cinema, Rave @ Moti, Kanpur on 25.12.09, at 10:00 PM show, 1st thing the ticket price charged was more by Rs.10 than the displayed price of tickets, secondly there was no water dispenser installed inside the premises, when I inquired about that to the person standing at the snack's counter, he replied me that only water bottle is available.
                    Please do the needful in this case.

                      I have encountered a information flaw available at big cinemas webpage (www.bigcinemas.com) in easy ticket FAQs where they say -
                      1] Easy Ticket can be bought at any of our cinemas from the box office
                      But easy tickets are not available at movie-star goregoan (west)
                      - Moreover the manager over is not committed to help customer . When i went to his office they said the manager was having his lunch and it was 3.30 pm .
                      - Also the security tryed to call the manager in the admin office but the manager didnt pick up the phone which can be seen through security cameras at the security table.
                      - When i asked the manager to give me a complaint number for lodging a complaint to big cinemas he gave me the number for booking that is 39894040 . When i said the number was for booking he told he doesn't have any other number.
                      - Also i would like to say that the staff at following brach is uneducated and irresponsible which can be felt by talking to them .
                      And the SECURITY at the office was unbelievable, they let everyone in without checking (I went through with a bag and no checking whatsoever was done. The security guard was just standing.

                        on 18th dec.2009, friday i and my friend went to watch Avatar movie at Odeon- Big Cinemas in Cannaught Place in NEW DELHI. i found out that there was some problem with the screen.on one side of the screen , i don't know what it was but when the images where lighter there were dark patches visible which spoilt the whole experience. i tried complaining but i was not allowed to meet the person concerned. the guards also did not cooperate. they made sure that i 'm not able to meet the manager. after a few tries i gave up as i could not waste my time.. i left the place with a bad taste even after watching a good movie! so is there anything you can do to let the person ,handling the operations of the movie theater mentioned above, know to make sure that they should learn to take care of their customers and also learn how to improve their services by taking customers' feedbacks? i have decided never to visit that theater again.

                          I have booking tickets for a show through net booking. After entering the debit card details and confirming the booking, the site gave an error message“BIG Cinemas apologize for a technical error. Please get back to us in some time, while we fix it!!!”, and i did not get a confirmation for the tickets I booked. However, the amount got withdrawn from my account.

                          There were no customer care numbers or mail-id given.so, i sent a mail to 'guest.[protected]@relianceada.com' but didn't get any reply from them.

                          So I have paid for tickets which i did not get and there is no effort from the company to address my complaint.

                          My trasaction id is VIN/ADLABS FILM/[protected]/0 with respect to icicibank.

                            I have been getting junk emails from Big Cinemas every thursday, friday on my company email id. This is very irritating. i have called many times at Big cinemas, R-mall mulund and requested them to remove my company email id. still no change. i replied the junk email also requesting them to remove my company emailid, but still i am getting those junk mails.

                              This is to bring into your kind notice that I went to view cinema along with my wife ( love aajkal ) on 5th August morning 11:20 A.M. show at Big cinema theatre located in Greater Noida. As according to morning show the ticket charges of silver & gold were dispalyed as Rs 50 per ticket, but actually the theatre authorities charged Rs 110 per ticket saying 50 Rs is for ticket and 60 for combo meal consisiting pepsi + burger/Popcorn . We insisted that we do not want combo meal and only interested in viewing the cinema . Theatre authorities refused to provide us ticket, feeling helpless we have to deleibrately buy the ticket.To our surprise they gave us 50 Rs ticket of cinema and hand written slip of Rs 60.We along with others in the que felt cheated that cinema authorities are delibrately forcing there expensive food stuffs by using unfair means. We thus request to take immediate action on the aforesaid practice and get us the justice

                              I totally agree to the complaint as i have faced the same issue recently when i went for watching "2012" at kgarghar (little world mall. the ticket rate was 60 but i was charged Rs 100 sating that Rs 40 is for meal (2samosa and small pepsi) andthis sucks..Big cinema is really acting small on this issue..
                              Same situation came with us we went to see First day First show (Morning)of 3-, Ajab Prem ki gazab kahani, Avataar show at Big cinema theatre located in Meerut Meelange Mall. As according to morning show the ticket charges of silver & gold were dispalyed as Rs 70 per ticket, but actually the theatre authorities charged Rs115 per ticket saying 70 Rs is for ticket and 35 for combo meal consisiting pepsi + burger/Popcorn . We insisted that we do not want combo meal and only interested in viewing the cinema . I think it is very disgusting and very bad manner to earn profit and money from customers We thus request to take immediate action on the aforesaid practice and get us the justice

                                IMAX Wadala is charging Rs.500 or Rs.350 per ticket for Harry Potter & the Half Blood Prince because they claim that it is a 3D movie. Actually it is 3D only for first 15 mins & thereafter it is a normal movie to be watched without glasses. They don't inform you about this before you buy tickets. It comes as a surprise when the screening starts. It can be watched in any other theater for just Rs.100 or Rs.150 per ticket.

                                This is pure cheating & swindling people of their money.

                                Tron 3d had zero 3d scene and we paid for an full 3d experience
                                I went at IMAX WADALA to watch the movie AVATAR in3D on sunday at 7a.m.I had already asked the person who was sitting at box office about the show timing of the movie on 29.05.2011. the person told me that there will be confirm show of the movie AVATAR in3D on 29.05.2011 at 7a.m .I also confirmed with landlinetelephone of IMAX WADALA at the evening on saturday on 28.05.2011 to know about the time of sunday's show on 29.05.2011. the show was cancelled on 29.05.2011 morning .There are 20 people were waiting for 2 hours to watch the movie but all in vain. The management of IMAX WADALA indirectly conveyed the message that the same movie show was cancelled from a week. I wasted my time and money.This is a very great mistake . I will never watch any movie in future at IMAX WADALA .

                                I've watched a lot of movies in a lot of theatres all over India but I can say without any doubt that I've had the worst movie-watching experience here in my life, BY FAR! The place is in the middle of nowhere. There isn't anything around. There are no good food options inside. The whole structure feels like a dead and depressing place. The food stalls that are present are undeservingly costly. The popcorn was also stale and tasteless.
                                But the main thing that made this the worst movie-watching experience of my life is that the theatre allowed people to walk into the hall even 30 minutes after the movie began! The staff kept shining light all around the hall and disturbed those who came on time for the movie and we're watching it. When I pointed it out to them they replied in a very rude manner. Also the 3D glasses were pathetic! I am beyond disappointed. I spent over 400 bucks for my ticket and chose this theatre to watch a movie that I've waited 10 years to watch! I am sure that I will never be returning to this place to watch a movie, nor will I let anyone I know go there!! If I could, I would sue the place.

                                  I tried booking tickets for a show through net booking. After entering the credit card details and confirming the booking, the site gave an error message, and i did not get a confirmation for the tickets I booked. However, the amount showed in my credit card bill.

                                  inspite of mailing twice on the mail ID provided by the company on their website, there is no response. When I called up Big Cinemas Wadala screen (for which I was booking tickets), I told my complaint to the operator, who simply, very rudely put the phone down.

                                  So I have paid for tickets which i did not get and there is no effort from the company to address my complaint.

                                  Big Cinemas are giving service at a costly rate. In Theatres, even when it is fully occupied, A/C for which they charge - are not being provided fully.

                                  As a result we are not comfortable.
                                  Last monday, 17.06.09, i tried to book tickets for the film Masilamani in KG Big cinemas, Coimbatore through online. But after entering all the necessary credit card informations, i got error message from Citi bank gateway that insufficient or some other error like that. Even in second time i got the same error and verified the credit card balance immediatly. There was no deductions from my credit card. So, i booked the tickets through tele-booking. After two days, when i was checking with my credit card statment, they deducted two times from my card. I don't know, where i have to complaint. There was no customer care numbers in the website. Beware about this issue.

                                  After punching my credit card details, laptop screen showed error. Good thing which I did during booking was I noted down number of seats reserved.
                                  After confirming my Bank about the amount charged to my creditcard, I went to Big Cinema TGIP NOIDA next day with my creditcard and told them that I could not get acknowledgement in the website but my credit card had been charged. The smart lady at TGIP NOIDA checked my credit card number for that booking and immediately printed 9 show ticket as per my netbooking request and handed these tickets to me.

                                  I agree with you, sometimes error occurs during E-ticket printing and error report ask for contacting customer care services and amazingly, there is no link no number on the big cinema's webpage. when i booked my ticket online, same thing happened to me. error report is generated asking me to contact customer care but i got my tickets mailed on my enrolled email id. so, you can also check inbox of your e mail account provided the email account should be the one which you used for e-ticket booking on big cinema's site.

I have written to the email address provided with the screenshot of the error attached, but didn't get any response. After that, I had forwarded the same email to nodal officer, Reliance communication with the. It has been 5 days but still no response. There is no customer care number, where a human can pick the phone and lodge my complaint.

                                    My name is Abhishek Chandra. I visited Big Cinemas, NOIDA, TGIP Mall on 25th December to watch Ghajini. I had my tickets booked through the "Book My Show" website but I additionaly purchased two tickets using my credit card. The total I needed to pay was 200/- in lieu of the tickets, however my ICICI credit card was charged twice for the same amount.
                                    I had made double mobile bill payment against invoice no[protected] dated 01/09/2008 of account no[protected] through online for the month of sept 2008 on 14 sep 2008 amounting Rs 663.00. My mobile no is [protected] (UP EAST)

                                    Transaction id is TXC[protected] dated 14/09/2008.which is shoing initiated in bsnl online payment site(view bill payment) in place of success.Rs 663.00 has been deducted from my bank account on the same day/time.please make adjustment for next coming bill or refund the same.

                                    They charged me 4 times and credited for 1. That means I am charged 3 times more, I is legal and 2 illegal ..
                                    watching AVATAR the great blockbuster on big cinemas odion in cannaught place was very bad experince for me. today on[protected] i went to watch AVATAR movie in 10 am show. this was my first time when i went in big odion cinema. screen was too bad. there were dark patches on the screen like dust. sound quality was too bad. there were technical issue with their sound system which they couldnt mend in half an hour. so they announced to refund the money. however people got their money back. but the taste and craze for watching AVATAR movie was spoilt with odion cinema's bad convenience. the polarized glasses were also not clear.
                                    I FELT BIG CINEMAS ODEON SUCKS...

                                      The multiplexes across the country are charging exorbitant rates during the first week of screening. There should be fixed charges across the country in multiplexes as well.
