    I have booked a tickets for 2 members in cinemax on July 26th 2012. The order status is cancelled but still the amount is not refunded to my account back. I tried to call the number[protected] which was given in the site cinemax.co.in. But it was saying "Switched Off". Please find the mail below which I got after booking my ticket.

      spider Man" On 29.06.12, which displayed on your site was transaction
      declined, then while trying 2nd time for booking tickets i got message
      that my tickets are confirmed for 1st transaction, i immediately
      cancelled 2nd transaction, which was shown OK, i have attached a pdf
      print also, but in my credit card statement which i received yesterday
      showing you charged for both the transaction, having transaction Id

        Hi, Cinemax is blocking all the top row tickets. I have tried book the tickets as soon as it opens the Online booking and all the top 10 rows are booked.
        Then I went to Cinemax counter and to see if they give allocate any tickets for the people who comes to theater and take tickets but that is not case.
        All the top rows are blocked and I heard from my friends that IMAX and CINEMAX are really selling the tickets in block. They have few agents who will block the tickets later sell at theater and through other possible channels.

        If this is movie piracy, may be a big hero or producer might have fought for it. since this is the end user (common man) problem no one takes care.

        I believe this is forum will consider this to investigate further.

          My self Dharmesh kothari & last night i seen a movie spider man in 3D in rajkot cine-max but my sit no is G13,14 . You use very rough materiel in sitting arrangement. I loss my jeans because of your bad sitting arrangement and this is my one of the most fav jeans .after this bad experiences i never came to watch a movie in cine-max.I sare this experience with my group. They told me now never came to cine-max. I complete the movie and say my experience ur staff member. No one help me. I hope your reply at least favorable in ur fans.

          He lost something special and when He got to the staff, There was no response and that is where he felt very disappointed !!

          He is so upset by the situation and shocked..he has not been seen on since long !!

            Hi

            There was a wrong info provided by you guys on the site that it was a 2D movie and u guys have put it as 3D on your website. For this mistake from your end I got a call from cinemax number 67468888 apologizing for the mistake made and they gave me two options either i can cancel the tickets or i will be given tickets for a different movie. I have asked them to cancel and they cancelled it.

            This is wat happened and I want my money back otherwise you will have to get into trouble.

                This is against the practice of charging Rs 20 as maintenance charges for 3 D glasses by Cinemax Hyderabad... Is this even lawful... Aren't they already charging such high prices for the tickets that they have to now make extra money by this new charge... Pathetic ... And no one is complaining ... Typical of Indian attitude... And I tried complaining and got back some very rude behavior from the staff... I mean how many more ways are they planning to fleece customers...seriously it's time consumers start raising their voices against such money grabbing people... What is the maintenance for when I got a dirty and oily 3D glass in my hand & after making some issues was given a pathetic tissue paper in the name of a cleaning agent... Is this how Cinemax treats its customers...then thank you .... Don't need your services anymore

                  We watched Gangs of wasseypur in inorbit mall cinemax hyderabad on First day last show (10:00) 22 june 2012, they stopped the movie during credits roll, so many people were eagerly waiting for Part 2 trailer which is at the end of credits roll. when we all asked about it they(Cinemax officials) said the movie is ended and there is no such trailers,..after another attempt they started the movie again from the starting and did fast forward, again during credits roll the movie operator did one more fast forward and again we were unable to see Part 2 trailer.
                  For your kind information Please find the below link which clearly says that there is a trailer after credits roll , that too of 10 mins.

                    Hi Sir/Madam,

                    On Saturday May 05 2012, I went to watch a movie with my brother in Cinemax Hall, Infinity Mall, Malad West. When we reached there we were asked to shell out Rs.240 rupees in addition to the ticket amount that we paid. The addition amount was in lieu for 3D glasses that the movie required of which 200 was returned. What was unauthorized was that I was not informed in advance that the extra money will be deducted for the 3D glasses. Neither was any receipt provided for the same. That means all the money collected for the service tax by the Cinemax guys will not be taxed. All this service tax is being collected in an underhand manner. They could very well collect the service tax along with the ticket charges. There is no need to harass the customer in such a dishonesty.

                      Dear all,

                      The reason to write, I feel on one side we are talking about stop black money and ethical, transparent business and other side we are overlooking what is happening around our day to day life. Everyone is accepting this as routein and ' chalta hai' attitude. Last month, I went to Cine max to see one 3D movie and was surprised the way they charged me 10 Rs on 3D goggles ( They took it back after movie). without any receipt. This month they have raise the charge to 20 Rs. It's so unethical and fooling people.. So I request you all, everyone should file complaints against it. Either cine max should include that in ticket or should it give free.

The same thing happened to me and I tired complaining about it and was not provided any support by the public... As you said "chakra hai attitude" and where is the money going...                         On 11th April 2012, I went to Cinemax Vashi to watch Housefull 2 at 9-9-30(dont remember exact time) morning.
                        On the internet, when i checked the prices were 120 for reclined seat.
                        Box office window, where all shows n timings were printed it was again showing 120 rs per seat.
                        But when I confirmed the 2 tickets, the sales person asked to pay 340 which includes 100 rs of food vouchers.
                        I refused to take this offer, but your sales person said it is compulsory (In offer, consumer having right to denial).
                        My question is that, why it was not notified to me till i reaches the counter and confirms the ticket????????????????
                        for health reason, we dont eat food outside. Those coupons were completely waste.
                        In Addition to this, AC was not functioning at all (It is summer time).
                        I also seen group of people who took normal tickets(non recliner), they directly come to recliner seats with the cost of normal ticket.
                        I was feeling like cheated by Cinemax. And will never ever visit CINEMAX again.

                          I went for Titanic 3d. The movie charges was 90 rupees. When we went for the movie they charged 20 rupees more for 3d glasses. I said ok. but where is the receipt?
                          They said its maintenance charges. I have visited other theaters also. They do not charge any money. And if they do so then it is refundable.
                          It is there black money they are earning with name of maintenance. And if it is not then why don't they give the receipt/ticket for such charges?

                              I booked 2 tickets for agneepath on 7th Feb for show on 8th Feb 10.45 pm (booking id537490) by mistake. I wanted to cancel it but unable to cancel it online. I called the tele booking guys and they said that they will not be able to cancel it as the payments has already been done. I have already booked tickets for 3.45 (booking id 537495) (show which i wanted to go) . Is there any way that i can claim my refund for 10.45 show??                                     adlabs mehul is one of the cinema in jamnagar on airport road its far away from city area so we have to ask for new release and other show timings so we have to call on the given number[protected] but i think this number is only use or their staffs only they did not answer a single call of mine, so can i assume that i am lucky one or hard lucky one & in other words it is single multiplex in town so they are also gets benefits of monopoly conditions but this is not the way to get business by hurting customers .

                                      I need your help in raising awareness about the black money being collected by Cinemax Multiplex which newly opened at Inorbit Mall, Viman Nagar.

                                      I went with a Co-worker to watch DON2 in 3D, the Cost of purchasing a 3D ticket is already more than watching a movie in 2D. Like expected they took a deposit of 220 Rs. from me for two 3D Glasses which the guy managing the distribution desk mentioned were refundable. (The 220 amount did ring some bells, but since I was assured it was refundable, I didn't question him).

                                      At the time of exit, only 200 Rs. were returned to me, and to justify it they pointed me to a board which said 10 Rs. per 3D glass is the service charge. I asked to be given a receipt of the same, and they refused. Only on asking to see a manager, we were finally given a receipt which was created in panic and had incorrect amounts mentioned (we still have a copy of it). On asking to correct it, they said they will not do it and we can feel free to report it to Police, Post which they instructed their security guards to throw us out, since we were clicking photographs of the people mistreating us and as per their rules camera phones are not allowed.

                                      My questions are -

                                      1. Not many people ask for the receipt like us - which means that the establishment is into collection o[censored]nrecorded cash. even if there were 500 people watching the show, it amounts to 5000 per show, and even if they run 6 shows a day, it's 30,000 per day.

                                      2. Why would I pay a service charge if I have already been charged more to experience the movie in 3D.
