Making Combo compulsory

I was made mandatory to buy food combo while buying tickets for movie on 25 April 2015 at Cinemax, City Centre Mall, Nashik. The ticket cost was 120 and it costs 165 with combo offer. The combo offer was made compulsary.

    Hi, Today we have watched the Yevadu Movie in Cinemax, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. we have opted the Gold Class ticket, but the recliner was not at all working, then what is use for paying them Rs.250/ ticket. If you inform us that they are not working we had have choosed normal seats. Finally you people have screwed our money and also there is no proper response in the theater as well as Helpline Number is all not responding. -- Praveen [protected]

        My kid loves to eat lays while watching, when we have taken the same, they rejected saying those are not allowed in the theater. When looked for similar items they are charging Rs100/ instead of Rs10/ for the same which are available in the market. For a normal popcorn they are charging 120/- and for Pepsi 110/-. Isn't there is any authority to check these overpricing of goods?
        If they don't want to reduce the price, let them allow food from outside. How to do local authorities are negligent towards them, while they are stringent on street hawkers.

            Hi All,

            I did booking of 7 tickets for movie Go Goa Gone in cinemax pune .
            But the show was cancelled because Inorbit mall, Viman Nagar, Pune caught fire.
            After that i tried to call consumer help line number but no one is answering calls and Inorbit mall employees are not saying anything.
            There is no update on cinemax official website.
            I am bit much frustrated with this. Let me know if there is something which would be done by cinemax else i need to lodge complaint for this.

              Today on 11/04/2013 we went to watch the movie Himmatwala at 5.30 pm at Cine Max multiplex theater. While interval I came out of the cinema hall to purchase some snacks with drinking water bottle. I found small cheese burger for rs. 80/- & kinley drinking water 1 ltr bottle at rs. 30/- which is too much costly than common market. While check in to movie also they are not allowing outside food into the theater. So food rates should be as per market rate. This is nothing but to take extra money from common public under the name cine max multiplex etc. How kinley coca cola company is also providing the water bottles with rs. 30/- MRP where as same bottle we could get at rs. 15 or maximum rs. 18. So it should not happen there some one Govt. authority should keep control over there on cine max cinemas.

                Hi!
                Yesturday ie 7th April 2013 been to jurassic park-3D movie to cinemax at Vashi(Navi Mumbai). Already we paid ticket tarrif Rs 150 per head and we bought one ticket. later on we came to know to view the 3D movie have to get the glass seperatly and paid Rs.25 per glass. Considering family interest and mob following the tarrif we got one and entered theatre.

                while watching movie realised the theatre is not opt for 3D display ie not up to the mark. Have watched so many 3D movie but this been the worse one, this is issue with the theatre and not with the movie. following to this while leaving the theatre, administrator collected back the 3D glass.


                Dont know who is the right authority to question and validate all this service. Kindly help to address this complaint. you can write me on [protected]@yahoo.com for any further queries or settlement of the issue

                    I have booked the Cinemax ticket through internet booking and convenience charges of Rs.22 has paid. But at Cinemax, Cochin counter we have to keep stay in queue for along to get the ticket coupon. Then why this convenience charge is applicable ? Even it take to the notice of Floor managers, no resolution so far....? Either convenience charge to be waived off OR give convenience.

                          I had booked 4 tickets via "book my show.com" for Cinemax Pune for show at 6.30 p. m. for 17th Nov 2012. As due to shri Balasaheb Thakre's death , the show for 17th Nov was cancelled and i was confirmed by both the Cinemax as well as Book my show authorities that the refund for the tickets will be done within 10 working days but its now more than 3 weeks and inspite of constant follow-up, i haven't received the refund yet. Kindly let me know when can i get my money back. Ticket was book for 4 person & amount was INR 1335.84/- it was booked thorugh net banking through my HDFC Bank debit card.                             I watched the movie Life of Pi at Cinemax , Cochin on 01.12.2012 , 3 pm show. They charge Rs.170 for one ticket and Rs.20 for 3D glass..I went to this theater hoping that i could watch the movie with real quality... but the picture was sad as old VHS tape...very dull and very boring...and the 3D effect is nearly zero

                            3D glass were not sanitized properly and had finger print all over it

                            There should be some standards for showing films in every theater.

                              I had booked movie tickets for 15-Oct-2012 at Cinemax, Bangalore Central, Outer Ring Road. The show was canceled for technical issues and the management took booking details etc. for refunding the ticket cost. No refund was provided automatically, and even after repeated follow-ups with the management and an email they provided, there has been no refund provided in more than 6 weeks. There has been no response to the emails.

                              movie times — cancelled the show without information

                              Hi,

                              My mum who is 62 years old wanted to see the film 'Atithi tum kab jaoge'. For this my dad bought an advance ticket for the film - a noon show on 13th March to be shown at Movietimes ,City Park , Pitampura a day earlier. Me and Mum reached the movie hall on time but earlier show was running late so we had to wait for 10 minutes, which we didn't mind, although there is no place to wait for an old lady. At last at about 12.120 pm the doors of audi # 2 were opened and we were let in- 4th row from the top in middle. Mum climbed the stairs with a difficulty but was excited to be able to see the film she has been wanting to see for a while now as she loved all the characters in the film-Konkona Sen, Ajay Devgan and Paresh Rawal. The hall was not crowded only few couples made it to that noon show. The film started rolling at about 12;25pm and what we see is amitabh bachan and ben kingsley and the film is Teen patti. We thought its a trailer before the film start. But with no relief from the non- stop teen patti film , I made my way out and asked the concerned person if we were sitting in the wrong audi. He said no you are sitting in right audi but they have cancelled the show. I asked them if there is any prior information regarding this which he said no. And after a thought of few seconds, he justified that last night there was a technical fault in the film so they are not showing the film. But he offered me to see any of the film available and was not much concerned with what he did to me and mum plans to see the film. Anyway i went back to inform my mum and in a while the official comes with a request that if we didn't want to see the film the money could be refunded. We came out of the hall and i gave my tickets to the concerned person for refund but wanted my tickets back for a complaint which he refused. I said fine and i do not want a refund but will complaint. Later we had a little conversation with three officials from the movietimes who kept on pressing that we should take the refund and give the tickets back to rafa dafa the mamla. But i was disappointed for my mum who has been wanting to see the film but couldn't and here i am treated like a 'mamla'.
                              Later he bribed me saying that give me your phone number and I will show the film free if i give him back the tickets and by that time I knew what was in their head so i refused politely. My mum and me walked out of the hall and then one of them came running to us to offer refund and said you could keep the tickets which i again refused.

                              I would like to complain for the harrasement and bribery in this case. Please do write me back to know what can be done. I have tickets with me and would like to lodge a complaint.

                                I was tried to book three movie ticket on 1st oct 2012 but the transaction was not exicuted and cinemax confirmed the Order as cancelled through
                                mail from [protected]@cinemax.co.in , which was confirmed by cinemax counter too and assured that money will get refund within three days .
                                But now they claim for the cancelled transaction to my Credit Card banker standard charttered bank card no 5546XXXXX2944 through claim no- 75140682275070670791200 of amount INR 393.71.

                                  I have booked three tickets from the website cinmax.co.in for the movie Murder 2 but didn't get the booking number, however the money got deducted from my credit card. The same has been reflected in my monthly credit card statement.

                                  Below are the details of my booking:

                                  Could somebody please look into this and get the money refund done ASAP.

                                  Escalation: Apart from the money refund, I also want to bring the point into your notice regarding the work attitude of the staff working there in Cinemax Pune (Inorbit Mall). For more than two weeks those guys mislead me by giving false commitments that money will automatically come into my account. When I tried calling them, they didn't pick my phone. I visited cinemax pune 3 times and after that they agreed on giving me weekday noon show movie ticket after knowing the fact that I am a working professional and can' come on weekday. When I asked about the weekend movie show, they told that tickets are not available but when I checked on the counter tickets were available. For 369 Rs, I have to visit cinemax more than thrice and the petrol costs me more than the movie ticket cost.

                                  The staff details of cinemax whom I dealt with is:

                                  These are the most disgusting and pathetic people I ever met with. Don't know how to talk to the customers, don't know how to respect the customer. I need somebody from the Cinemax high authority to talk to these guys and let them know some manners and if possible just fire them or put them to some popcorn counter as they don't deserve to be in a position to deal with customers.
                                  It's not about the money for which I am bothering, it will not making me the richest man on this planet either, but it's the type and quality of service that is being delivered to me and this I believe this should gets addressed and the staff members who all is involved in this matter should get their piece of cake what they deserved.

                                    On 20th Oct 2012, I was trying to book 2 tickets for the movie “Student of the year” from the site www.cinemax.com. Rs. 416.18 was deducted from my Citbank credit card with no [protected]. However, booking was not successful as it had gone to error page "https://www.cinemax.co.in/ErrorPage.aspx".
                                    I tried calling their helpline but no body picked and so I dropped an email to their email help desk ([protected]@cinemax.co.in) and visited Cinemax Box office at Soul space Arena Mall, Mahadevapura, Marathahalli ring road, Bangalore.
                                    At the box office, they told that the booking was not successful and asked me to drop an email to their email helpdesk for the refund. And also issued me a new ticket for Rs. 400.

                                    After reaching home, I checked my email and got the response from their email helpdesk saying that my booking was successful. Now I had two tickets for the same movie and hence I visited the Box office for cancelling one of the tickets. But they didn’t help saying that they cannot cancel booked tickets.

                                    So I am approaching this forum to help me on this.

                                    And the soft copy of the ticket which was issued at box office is attached with this complaint letter.

                                      I made an online booking and there was a system error regarding the dates.

                                      I tried reaching the help line numbers of Cinemax but after a few rings the phone was switched as if the person was not interested in doing his or her job.

                                      No response on emails too.I am not sure what is to be done in regards to my booking.Beware of online bookings on cinemax site
