    member cancellation and refund

    I have taken the club mahindra gozest membership with id 2896888, but in december only i have cancel the membership and they said your 14852 rs will be refund within 100 days, but almost 6 months have passed and there is not refund till now. I am continuously calling them for refund but everytime they say will do refund in 7 to 8 days but since 3 months they are doing just fake promises and calling again and again to fill the...

    Dear team,

    I had submitted an amount of 5000rs to club mahindra dehradun, last year around june.
    I have not availed any service whatsoever.
    Hence i asked for my refund, which as per company rule is 100percent refundable.

    I have tried reaching to club mahindra for this, they agreed to giving refund after many hassles and said i will be recieving amount via check. It has almost been three months now, still no cheque is send from them.
    On following, they have stopped reverting to my mails.

      Worst membership experience & Membership Cancellation Complaint

      Dear Kavinder ji,

      It is with great dismay that I am writing to you. I have had tried all possible ways to reach the persons responsible for resolving my query. However, all my efforts went it vain.

      I am highly optimistic that I’ll be able to get answers from you or your desk.

      I have penned my dismay below in most detailed manner.

      Dear sir/madam,

      I wish to cancel club mahindra membership #285656 due to following reasons:

      (A) i had taken the membership considering that i can visit resorts during the peak season and also get to travel a lot post my retirement. But the last 2 times that i booked my holidays, my experience has been very bad. I had to plan my holiday during non-peak season due to unavailability of resorts. Also, my phillipines holiday was cancelled due to a natural calamity. And after it reopened, club mahindra simply cancelled my resort booking and i had to waste a huge amount on my pre-booked flights. Club mahindra never compensated me for that. Due to covid-19 and travel ban, i won't be able to travel for the next 2 years, and so this membership is of no use now.

      (B) i have paid a total amount of rs. 2, 18, 411 to club mahindra including asf but i do not find any utility of taking such membership as resorts are never available when required, resorts are very far-off and compared to other such resorts available online through make my trip, fee charged is too much.

      (C) also, the cool-off period of 10 days is very very less for anyone to decide regarding the membership. It can only be decided after the person has availed 1-2 holidays and then assessed the quality of membership. And my experience has been very poor in this regard.

      (D) cost of food is exorbitant. Per person buffet is somewhere like rs. 650-750 while ala-carte is very costly. So, while most other hotels offer complimentary breakfast and reasonable meals, cost of meal at club mahindra is very high. There are almost no other options available for dining except club mahindra. Thus, in a day for a 2 adult + 2 kids, one will end up spending something like rs. 3, 500-4, 000 per day and then they tell that cost of boarding is free with membership.

      It is my sincere desire to surrender the membership and get the refund in this respect.

        and why EMI deducted of Rs 11309 from my credit card by club mahindra on 8th may.
        As member ship is cancelled so why money deducted.

            emi deduction after membership cancellation

            Recently i applied for club mahindra membership on 13th march with 10% advance booking (Rs. 33, 840) & balance to pay by 3 post-dated cheques & emi/ach mandate (Total 48 emi @ 11, 309).
            However, due to covid 19 pandemic, i have applied for membership cancellation request via mail on 16.03.02, which was accepted by club mahindra & got a confirmation email on 20th mar 2020 (Copy attached) where they confirmed my membership cancellation...

            I had submit cancellation request on dated 25 november 2019, i had not taken any befits of membership, i am cancelling membership due to financial issue.
            They accepted my request in few days and replied me as i can get the refund within 90 working days. I had taken followup in january, february, and march month and i received same commitment that i can get refund within 90 working days.
            Again i put reminder on 1st april 2020, i received replied that my membership will cancelled in 25 working days and refund will get 2 week later on. I again put reminder on 7th may 2020, same replied i have received from them.
            Now i feel like they are not going to give me refund.

              Club mahindra employee sell plans to customer which are actually not exist.
              They sold us plan where 45000rs for 21 night 3 year.
              When we try to book app said plan does not exist and you can not book
              When call its rm they dont answer and when cancel membership company said its your mistake that you agree with employee. We lost 51000.

                Dear sir/madam
                I wish to cancel the membership of club mahindra because of following reasons:
                A) firstly they never told us about any renewal fees that would be taken from us of club mahindra membership every year and they only told us about the fees that will be applicable on activities which we have to pay only when we use the resorts if we wish to do the activities related. But now they are telling us constantly calling us to pay some renewal fees every year this is the fault of your representative who never said anything about this fees and now they are sending us bills related to the renewal fees. We told them beforehand that is there any renewal fees or not we asked them clearly about this but they said there is nothing like annual renewal fees in this membership but now they are backing out and telling us that this is to be paid and then when we told them that you never said anything about this then they say us that if you don't want to pay then do not pay but is this any solution, by doing this we will become the defaulters in the eyes of company they are not clear in any thing and saying things like company runs through them only is there no rules and regulations in this company no order to do work there representatives are careless and irresponsible they didn't told many of things to us.
                B) also in lockdown we can't go out there is no work economic condition is poor and then also they are regularly cutting ecs from account they are really not understanding the situation and are continually cutting ecs.
                That is why we do not want to keep the membership we want to surrender the membership so please refund our money which are already paid and stop this membership otherwise we will be obliged to take legal action against the company.

                  With reference to my previous emails dated 03.03.2020, 05.03.2020, 21.03.2020, 23.03.2020, 29.03.2020, 04.04.2020, 08.04.2020, 09.04.2020, 10.04.2020, 16.04.2020 and 20.04.2020

                  Last Interaction RE: MHRIL=[protected] dated 20.04.2020

                  The case is, I opted for membership for 2 years as suggested, guided and pitched by the sales representative Mr Himanshu Bhist (Mob-[protected]) at MGF Mall, Gurugram. As per him, he told us that it will be for 2 years and if we like the services than we can opt for 25 yeas of a plan later-on. And currently, we just have to pay a total of Rs 40, 340/-. According to customer care, there are no such plans. However, from the very next day, I took action to get the membership cancelled. I called Customer care for cancellation of my membership. Due to heavy financial crisis, I was not able to continue with it. Then I wrote an email to member experience management regarding cancellation on dated 03.03.2020. After that, I got a call from Club Mahindra they said we are processing your request and you will get another call regarding the refund. Further, I wrote many emails to the member experience management for cancellation of my membership. But got no proper response from there.

                  Till date membership is not cancelled. please cancel the membership as soon as possible and refund the whatever amount has been deducted. Because I am need of money.

                  Kindly treat it urgent and do the cancellation as early as possible and refund the same.

                  it's been 65 days since cancellation request but still my hard work money not refunded by the club Mahindra.

                    Sub: delay in refunding my amount by club mahindra.
                    R/sir,
                    I have paid rs 25, 000/- as a initiative amount to club mahindra, towards club membership, but due to some unavoidable circumstances i was needed to cancel the membership immediately and accordingly i had requested to their sales representative (Mr. Azim +91 [protected]) on phone to refund the amount paid towards the membership. Also i have requested by email on 9th oct.2019 to club mahindra team to cancel the membership.

                    Answer from club mahindra team -
                    "we will refund the amount within 90 days to you definitely." though the team assured me but after 90 days no one did contact me, till the date.

                    After that i called them so many times but they gave me other way round answers, just like "we forward your request to our concerned team." there is no any positive response from them till date.

                    When i frequently called them they always gave me the same unsatisfied answers. They told 90 days completed but more 30 days required, "we will in touch with you and confirm about the refund amount" but still i had not any positive responsible reply or not received the amount of the refund. On every call, team members said it's required more 7 days, / 2 days on and on false commitments.

                    So many times i humbly requested the team but unfortunately every time the same fake & false commitments given by the team. Now it's almost 120 - 140 days passed but yet not received the refund amount to me.

                    It's my kind and earnest request to you, to look into the matter and please help me to sort out the said issue.

                      This is about 23rd nov, 2019 when i was fooled by one of the club mahindra executive, the guy named hemant made so many false promises and made me swipe my credit card for 30, 000 inr to buy the club mahindra membership, the location was iitf, (Trade fair) new delhi.

                      1. I was told that i can make booking the very next day after paying this amount which was not true and later i was told that i will have to pay 3 more emis first before i can book their property even for 1 night.

                      2. I was about to get married on nov 28, so thought of buying the membership, but when i was told that i have to pay 3 more emis before i can book even a single night, i felt cheated and thought of withdrawing the membership the very next day.

                      3. When i tried to reach out to the guy who sold me (Hemant) the membership, he told me that its simply not possible and i wouldn't get my money back. I then tried to reach the member experience team, and after so many attempts and email conversations, they finally agreed to cancel the membership and return my money in 90 working days.

                      4. This whole process was very tiring and disgusting, i had sent an email to them on mon, 25th nov 2019 to cancel my membership and after so many calls and emails which was a very bad experience talking to so many people and explaining so many times and requesting again and again to cancel, they finally agreed on dec 26 (After one month), and sent me an email that the cancellation is being processed and will take 90 working days and refund will also be processed within same time.

                      6. Today is 17th apr (More than 3.5 months, 26th dec-17th apr) and i haven't got any refund till now and when i followed up, i got a reply saying that it will take another 25 working days and then 2 more weeks to complete the process.

                      7. Why does it take so long to process the refunds? Even after waiting for 90 working days, why is it now taking another 25+15 days?

                      8. This overall process of the communication with different people associated with club m and things taking so long time, makes me feel real bad and cheated.

                      9. They don't take even 10 mins when you buy the membership and don't even let you read the terms and conditions. If the process of enrolling for the membership is so fast, why the process of cancellation is so slow and disgusting?

                      10. Shame on you club mahindra, i never had such a bad customer experience in my whole life, thats the reason i had to write this all bad about you.

                        I had sent a mail to club mahindra, that i want to discontinue my membership due to financial crisis on 15th jan 2020. For which they called me and asked again and again as to why i'am cancelling my membership inspite of telling continuously my financial situation. I was even asked to send acknowledgement mail saying to confirm that i'am firm on my decision, which i did. Based in my mail they dint deduct my feb and march emi. But suddenly they deducted my april emi, and when asked to refund, they are continuously trying to pass call from one person to another. Everytime a new person calls up and asks the same question which is very irritating.

                          On the day of women's day i opted for membership for 2 years as suggested, guided and pitched by the sales representative mr. Ankush rana (Cont no: [protected]) at kalyan jwellers, pusa road karol bagh, delhi. As per him, he told us that it will be for 2 years and if we like the services than we can opt for 25 yeas of a plan later-on. And currently we just have to pay total of rs 67, 764/- in below mentioned way.

                          Upfront / down-payment rs 33, 840/- and 3 emi of rs 11, 308/- total 67, 764/-.

                          When i called customer care team they told me that the plan is for 25 years only and there is no 2 years of a plan.

                          If it's the same i would not be interested in having the membership and requested them to kindly arrange for the refund of the down payment of rs 33, 800/- i paid and cancel my membership.

                          You people are the cheaters, non of your representative have approached me as of now.. Again in wain have sent a mail to your kind department.

                          Shame on you as a reputed organisation.

                          Kindly arrange to refund my said money or will not be left with another option to go legal. Treat this as my final communication on refund of my said amount before going legal.

                          Attached are the written communication mails that I received in response from your concerned department where-in every time I got a confirmation that someone concerned will be in touch with me. But none of your representatives turned back. Whenever I called customer care people they put me on a long hold and disconnected the calls. Now I have started feeling that my request is being treated as granted. Now this matter is getting on my nerves.

                          Again would humbly request you to kindly arrange processing my refund money at the earliest and I need TAT (Turn around time) for my refund.

                            I have meeting with sales rep for membership on dated 31st oct 2019 and immediately he force me to deposit tocken money. That time i took wrong decision and deposit money and sales rep promise that if i don't want to take membership then i can withdraw my membership immediately and club mahindra will give my money within 30 days.

                            So i have signed up for club mahindra blue studio 25yrs membership on 31st oct 2019.

                            But next day when i check my financial situation i found that i can't afford this membership so i refuse to take membership and i send mail for cancellation on dated 01.11.2019 and continue poke for refund my money
                            But no response from customer care.in between they deduct emi amount from my credit card.

                            When i talk to customer care in jaipur and ask why they deduct my emi then they said that after cancellation your full amount will be return back.

                            Then after 42 days they send me mail for cancellation on dated 12.12.2019 and within 90 days they will refund my money back means they already took 42 days for confirm the cancellation.

                            Anyway now 160 days complete but still they not return my money

                            Please help me out in this regard.

                              Hi,
                              We got membership from club Mahindra but due to unfortunate reasons, we wanted to cancel the membership..we were not able to reach customer care ..We have mailed you regarding cancellation within 10 days ..but we didn’t get proper response..

                                I had taken the bliss membership by paying rs. 1.82350 lakhs by cheque dated 25th january 2020 (Cheque enclosed). I was enrolled as member as per above details on 2nd february 2020. I cancelled my membership on personal reasons vide e-mail dated 11th february 2020. I had requested for refund of the amount paid and i received a mail from ms varsha poojari only on 25th february only acknowledging my mail. I spoke to one of your member experience management executive at +91-[protected] on 4th march 2020 and he has confirmed that the cancellation process has started only on 25th february. I was told that the refund amount would be sent by cheque within 60 working days of cancellation. Today i got a call from one of your member experience management executive stating that the membership cancellation process has started and i would get my refund amount within 90 working days of cancellation each time the number of days are increasing.
                                I requested to kindly instruct the concerned official in club mahindra to:immediately refund the amount.in order to expedite please transfer the amount via neft to my bank account as per the details in the enclosed cheque of rs. 1, 82, 350/- which was submitted.
                                Alternatively send me the cheque for the above amount to my residential address: srinivasan vedam, flat no.: - d-804, brigade gardenia, 8th phase, j p nagar, bang

                                  The representative from club mahindra visited and told about the facilities and the membership amount which i have to give to club mahindra. They took ₹30000 from me as down payment for membership. Next day i received a call from the customer service team of club mahindra they told me some extra fees which i have to pay as a member every year other than my membership fees. I refused to continue my membership because of their hidden policies. At that time they were agree to redund my down payment but even after 8 months they are doing nothing against this.
