[Resolved]  Airtel Postpaid — Complaints on "Airtel / Postpaid Mobile Bill "

This is Santosh Chile from Mumbai , a past holder of Airtel Postpaid Connection Number[protected].
On 12/10/2007 , i have disconnected my cell number[protected] for some particular reasons . I got a call from customer care regarding the same and they gave me a complaint id 14832805 dated 12/10/2007. After that i got a bill of Rs 85/- which i have already paid in cash to Airtel executive who had come to my house to collect the bill . Again in this month i 've got a bill of Rs . 380 /- for no reason . Today i again called up the customer care of Airtel for the same , again i got a complaint id 15262846 dated 17/1/2008. I am not able to understand the situation when i have already gave up my connection and also paid the necessary charges .

I request you to resolve my problem as soon as possible .

myself vinod, last two month am using ur connection . actually my credit limit is 1200, but last two days am getting my unbilled amount as 3000, ... reaaly i got shockkkkkkkkeddd, because, i used to check my calls and sms every day, used to keep track on my biil . last friday i got sms that my unbilled amount was 980 . but within 3 days, it comes to 3000...very shocking one. From 2005 to 2008 i was using ur airtel mobile... my no was [protected] and my crdit limit was 7500. and my status was HNI. after that i got tranfer to karnataka, and last may i came bck frm thr and took another connection from u .reaaly its shocking one, and if my case is not taken seriouyly, i wil stop using ur service...

Airtel Postpaid — permanently disconnect my connection without any reason

I HAD PURCHASED A NEW AIRTEL POSTPAID CONNECTION HAVING NUMBER [protected] ON 13TH JUNE AND HAD PAID RS 5000 AS THIS IS A SPECIAL NUMBER. THE VERY NEXT DAY THEY DISCONNECTED. AFTER SEVERAL COMPLAINTS AND VISITS TO AIRTEL RELATIONSHIP CENTRE THEY ACTIVATED AFTER 10-12 DAYZ, THEN AGAIN AFTER FEW DAYZ THEY BARRED MY OUTGOING CALLS STATING THE REASON AS NEGATIVE VERIFICATION. BUT THE VERIFICATION WAS ALREADY DONE AND WAS POSITIVE. THEN AGAIN I VISITED TO ARC MORE THEN 7-8 TIMES. AND I GAVE REQUEST FOR RE-VERIFICATION. STILL WAS NOT DONE. THIS WENT ON FOR 10 DAYZ ALMOST. THEN SUDDENLY THEY ACTIVATED MY CARD AND TOLD WE HAVE DONE TELE-VERIFICATION AND NOW ITZ POSITIVE. THEN AGAIN ON 5TH AUGUST THIS PEOPLE PERMANENTLY DISCONNECTED MY CONNECTION. INSPITE OF SEVERAL COMPLAINTS THEY ARE NOT ACTIVATING. PLZ HELP ME FOR THE SAME. I HAVE PAID MY BILLS ALSO

i have not requested to activate the gprs service but i have been charged rs 1325 for it corresponding to three months 2may, june, 16 july.ihave talked to your executives many times for the same and they said they had put the complaint and money will refunded.BUT IT IS HIGHLY INPROFFESSIONAL BEHAVIOUR.you can see we have always pay the bill in time or before time.and i have not got the bill for the last month.MY REQUEST IS TO SOLVE THIS MATTER AS FAST AS POSSIBLE, as YOU CAN SEE I HAVE NOT USED MY INTERNET SERVICE AS MY USAGE IS ALMOST ZERO.As was unknown about the activation of my service.
Hi, I have been a user of Airtel netwrk since last 6 yrs & instead of seeing an improvement in the n/w, of to be called no. 1 mobile service provider, I am seeing day by day the n/w & services provided by airtel are becoming worst. I have been compalining about n/w issues at my residence & my work place since last 1 yr but no one has ever bothered to look into it. I have even written it to appellate of airtel but I am not seeing any response from them. Initially the took the area details about me but after that I havent seen any response from them. On calling at the customer care number to know about my complaint status, the executive had toldm e that the issue would be resolved by 3rd Of July. The worst part is no one even bothered to call me by 3rd of July to know what the issue is about. Now I have stopped paying my bills. Everyday I get payement reminder calls but not even once do I get a call to know the details of my complaint. I visited the customer relationship centre & they told me to change my sim card.But they dont wana do that till I make my payements.The n/w is so pathetic that when I call 121 from my postpaid number it gets connected to cutomercare of prepaid cards. The executive tells me it could happen if you go into roaming or cause of some n/w issue. How can 1 be on roaming within mumbai limits. This service provider is going on becoming pathetic dayby day.

Airtel Postpaid — Not Receiving bills or overvalued

Dear Sir/ Man

I Rajeev Rana Post Paid customer of airtel Mob no [protected] has recieved first bill no[protected] from Airtel (which is over valued) . As I am customer of Airtel from last 1 year, but this is the first bill which I have recieved and is overvalued, I have paid all previous bills by going to your office every month but in this month got the bill at my address of Rs2232 which include 896 previous month balance which I have paid earlier .last bill paid by me is around 2800 and Mr Kapil Executive of airtel told me no previous balance left till date, So how come Rs 896 came in latest bill .So pls look into the matter on priority .

Pls send somebody who can resolve my problems which I am facing from last one year.

I have got a new connection 4 days back which has still not been activated... Numerous complaints did not help... Today at 05:00 pm i called the CS again only to be disconnected 8-10 times... finally when the executive picked up the phone i spoke to a supervisor ABHI, , , , who promised that he is activating the connection...IN 4 HOURS (i don't know how long are 4 hours) now again at 09:40 i speak to another supervisor anurag 5500 did not even have the numbers.. I told him to speak to his junior and take the numbers and he disconnected the call... now on line again..

If anone from Airtel authoity is checking this please send all the employees on a LONNNNNNGGGG Brk and hire new sensible people...

Airtel Postpaid — Better to beg than Using Airtel

I will never forget 10th Aug when i switched to Airtel postpaid.. Worest company i have ever seen... i am using postpaid numbers from last five years but my biggest mistake was to go for AIRTEL... there miskate and my Outgoing is barred from last 3 days... called Cust, Service more than 30times but all invain... they are enjoying our comments(good or bad) but never will do any thing... They just want money money money... nothing else... you will not belive i have more than 30 Ref# in my inbox.. but for waht... ??????? Supervisers my foot better to bark than to speak to them...

Airtel Postpaid — International roaming deposit refund

I had 3 Airtel postpaid numbers on my name,with me, my wife and my mom. When I was planning to go abroad I have activated International roaming by giving 7500/- deposit (Receipt No: 7334,Location:Laser) on one of my number : [protected] on 20 June '09 , On condition that I will be getting the amout refunded within 45 days of deactivation of the service. Then After I got settled here, I have disconnected that number on 24 June '09. After that whenever My wife called up airtel on the status of disconnection/refund, she was getting different answers each time. 'the number was temporarily suspended only, 45-60 days after it gets permanently disconnected I will get the money.' Then i tried contacting 121 through email, I have said that I will get the money within 60 days from July 01, the date the number got suspended. I suggested to adjust the bill amount(800/-) with the deposit, and I was supposed to get the amount 6700/- from Airtel by Aug 30. And today is Sep 05, and till now I didnt get the money back.
Mean while, airtel had barred my calls to 121, as I have exeeded the number of calls to their useless customer care. After getting fed-up with AIrtel, I have disconnected one more number : [protected], for which the bill amount was 6000/-, and at the time od disconnection, I made very clear that I will pay the amount only after I get the refund from airtel. And now my parents and relatives are getting calls from airtel, asking me as the bill amount is on due. When I contacted Airtel 121 againon Sep 04, I was told that the refund amount cheque is already dispatched by Aug 14 '09, and I didnt get that yet. Then they offered me that they will arrange a call back to me with in 24 hours by one of the Call center supervisors. Today I got call from airtel back end/refund department, saying the number got permanently disconnected only on Aug 08, and I need to wait for 45-60 days from that date to get the refund amount. They were not ready to listen to any of my questions/concerns, asking me to contact 121. and the most happiest part of that is Airtel applications are down due to some upgrade till Sep 11 '09. I have to wait till then to get any info.
I have already undergone many of the mental torture due to this. I am really fed up with it.
Please help me to get a way out of this.

Now I have been forced to disconnect the last postpaid number with airtel, and the broadband connection too.
I have purchased a duplicate sim card for my mobile No.[protected] from Calicut yesterday afternoon[protected] and so far this has not been activated. Almost 24 hours elapsed by now. Actually I was expecting a few very important calls yesterday and the staff at Airetel Office told me within few hours the activation would take place and the phone would be operative before 3-4pm. I am rerally fed up with this very poor service of yours. Please do the activation immediately.
