[Resolved]  Airtel Postpaid — Complaints on "Airtel / Postpaid Mobile Bill "

This is Santosh Chile from Mumbai , a past holder of Airtel Postpaid Connection Number[protected].
On 12/10/2007 , i have disconnected my cell number[protected] for some particular reasons . I got a call from customer care regarding the same and they gave me a complaint id 14832805 dated 12/10/2007. After that i got a bill of Rs 85/- which i have already paid in cash to Airtel executive who had come to my house to collect the bill . Again in this month i 've got a bill of Rs . 380 /- for no reason . Today i again called up the customer care of Airtel for the same , again i got a complaint id 15262846 dated 17/1/2008. I am not able to understand the situation when i have already gave up my connection and also paid the necessary charges .

I request you to resolve my problem as soon as possible .

This is Srikanth from Warangal My Mobile Number is[protected], I was taken this connection last July 30th 2009 from Warangal MG road Relation ship centre given all proofs and they was enquired all of the details, upto 28 th Aug i get good network there was no problem but the thing is i lost my mobile at 28th of august 2009 at night i make call to customer care tell them to bar my out going calls they was barred my out going calls next day morning i went to airtel shop to take new SIM but they told me that it is not possible to activate ur number today be`coz my sign proof is not correct, again that day it self i was given another signature proof to them but upto now i did`t activated my Number .

And last 9 days i make call to C.care (from [protected])they told me that my number is activated the problem with ur mobile, at that time i was changed my mobile then also it is not working, another guy told me again ur proofs ...this is very IR Responsible care from you...

You bothy are correct, This airtel services are so much bad than Other companies services. I had a Delhi's postpaid number ([protected]) which dues was something Rs. 3200/-. First they gave me wrong Postpaid plan then they were charging miscelleneous charges with per bills (which was out of focus) & they never told me why they were charging them always saying, SIR PLEASE CALL AFTER SOMETIME, OUR SERVER IS DOWN.
After that I dropped this number, then suddenly one day I got a notice from the Delhi court but after a short discussion with Airtel lawyer I paid all the dues on Rs 900/- dicount. they again did false promise & said they will send me NOC on my e-mail ID. but still I am waiting for that & already 03 months past.
After that day I got a massage from my self if there is any very bad services coming from somwhere, is only AIRTEL.
So, freinds beware from this compnay otherwise they will make you fool very badly.
& one thing more their customer care is also not supportable. they also lie very much.

in the current bill from 12 aug to 10 sep u have charged of 19 sec ISD ccall which is not done i m not aware of number n any call .please deduct 45 rupees which is being charged or give proper clarification

( that person mobile number is [protected], [protected] ) he take the money from me (Rs300) he told i wiill give u postpad connection but alerdy 20days left. i have never activated, nobady give responsible . this is the worst service of airtel .pls help me
I agree with the all these comment... they have activated a dial tone for free but after 10 days they have charged Rs. 10 for the same

Hi prasanna kumar here, I took two post paid connections 3 months back. It got disconnected just 1 week after activation. and still showing as registration failed. If I ask the executive from whome I got the sim he keep on telling the same old dialogues... Please let me know what I need to resolve my problem...I am totally red up with that executive

Airtel Postpaid — PENDING REFUND

Dear sir,

Few days before i has applied for a airtel postpaid connection([protected]), airtel executives Mr.Rahul has collected all requared document and connection fee of rs.300.

After 3 days my connection has been deactivated now they are saying that you have pay 1000 as marging money and ECS is compulsary, however sales person of airtel has not mentioned this type of condition at the time of connection.

I have asked to airtel persons that in this condition a cant take connection kindly get back my initial money, they are saying it is not refundable.

Plz help.

this is Falguni Banerjee from west bengal and my mobile number is [protected] and my sim has stoped its outgoing facilities, , , , , mine is a postpaid connection and only incoming calls r active but it is being said that outgoing calls are barred.

Airtel got the worst customer care service...not sure about other states but is true Andhra Pradesh.I have recharged with RC 94 for internet activation in my mobile yesterday night at around 9:30 pm and its not activated till now(4:22 am). before activating the service I even contacted the customer care and they confirmed that the service will be activated instantly and trusting them I went ahead and had my mobile easy recharge with rc 94 but the service was not activated.received an instant message showing the confirmation about the rc 94 activation but when I try to browse from my mobile it shows an error "communication error" contacted the customer care and told me that my account is active and I have 100 MB to us which was not showing at all in my balance when I type *121*10# or some other number they gave me...contacted them again and other guy sent me settings again and asked me to save them switch off and switch on the mobile and it will be activated which did not work either .this process went for many times, contacting them, they sending the settings, turning off mobile and turning on but no luck.and after calling customer care from my number for 3 - 4 times, i was unable to call them again . when i call them it gives a default message saying sms airtel to 121.then I called customer care from one of colleagues number and this happened again . after 3 - 4 calls that number too was blocked, this repeated for almost 4 different numbers as I was unable to reach them from my number. finally I spoke in frustration and one customer care guy transferred the call to their supervisor and he asked me to sms my airtel to 121 and then i will be able to call customer care from my number.THE WORST PART IN THEIR SERVICE IS ... they will say please hold on and then they will disconnect the call without intimating or if you contact them for any problem they will simply tell you a solution which will be like head and tails and they will leave the call instantly coz they are not sure if the problem will be fixed or not. DAMN WORST PART in their customer care they shouldnt be given option to disconnect the customers call until customer disconnects or until customer permits them.finally called one more time (total calls to their customer care : definitely more than 23 times from 5 different numbers as each number was blocked after calling them 4 - 5 times) and other guy advised me to deactivate the service by typing *567*2# and then activate again from *567# and I have deactivated as he said and later when i went to activate it, it was showing me as new customer for internet and is asking for which plan i want, but I already paid and activated it . then I called to customer care again and explained this to other guy and he put me on hold without asking me for almost 3 minutes, while i was on hold i received a sms stating that "your internet service is active and you will be billed 30 paise / 50 kb with no monthly rental"which was ridiculous.then he took the call and said now it is activate...what does that mean...??? I asked him why is this showing like this when i have paid for a month and there should be 100 MB for me to use...seems like he had no answer, he asked me to hold on and disconnected my call...tried to call them again but after that whenever I called them from different numbers all the numbers are getting this message "please wait while i transfer your call to customer care executive, this call can be recorded for internal training services and after 2 - 3 secs annoying sound like this (teeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee )" damn [censored]ng Customer care service...believe me I never had this much frustration, really they are great as they made me write a complaint about them...bigggg complaint ...lets see if they will reach me atleast after seeing this...number is [protected]

Airtel Postpaid — Issued Bill after cancellation

Cancelled connection on 02.04.2009
Somebody Executive called not to cancelled convert to prepaid or any other scheme.
Finally Executive told we are cancelling your connection and your refund arround 50/- will
receive you shortly.
After 1 month bill received from Airtel Rs. 505/-
So many times Complaint registered throuth Telephonic and by e-mail to reverce the amount and send refund.
But no any action taken on this till date and for demand outstanding frequirntly they are calling to me.

Airtel Post Paid — Refund the amount paid twice

I have paid airtel Bill twice from my ICICI bank account for the month of sept'09 bill for the number [protected]..I want to get the refund of money extra paid..Airtel customer care is not helping or suggesting for refund..Please assist me.

Airtel Postpaid — After closing bills are coming

Hi,

Some people came to my home and given a Airtel post paid connection. I have paid 500 rupees and accepted the connection. They informed that this 500 will be deducted from your bill after three months. After taking this connection i paid bills for some months and i never used this number. I am getting bills everymonth and i am paying continiously. finally two months back one executive came to home to collect the bill around 500 rupees i paid and provided cancellation letter to that executive. I don't know whether he submitted that letter or not. Again i got bill around 490 rupees. How many months i need to pay after cancellation of the number. Again today i got a notice stating that we will send notice if you dont pay this bill. How to proceed from here, Actually i am planning to put this case in consumer forum.......
