I AGREE 100% THAT AVA MARKETING ARE A FRAUDELENT COMPANY...THEY NEVER RESPOND AFTER THEY HAVE TAKEN YOUR MONEY FROM YOUR CREDIT CARD...NEVER SEND THE MERCHANDISE...DO NOT CALL UP TO INFORM OF DELAY. IAM WAITING FOR A PRODUCT THAT WAS TO BE DELIVERED TO ME IN AUGUST 2010 AND IT IS 3RD JAN 2011...NO SIGN OF IT!!

I agree that AVa marketing is selling products of low quality and second hand product in india...i purchased blackberry storm 9530 at Delhi airport in first week of January 2011 and it was sela pack so could not understand if it is brand new or used one ...it is locked so even if you have blackberry then you can not used data services like mail ...

In a sense, such rogue firms work on our innate weakness for a cheap deal. The brands they sell on flights are such that even roadside China goods vendors would be ashamed to sell, so ultimately, we as consumers, should exercise caution! One BIG advantage buying on the flight is that we get to see the product which isn't the case when we order thru bank/card offers. There after sales is non-existent, but touch wood, the 2-3 occasions i bought from them, the products (Swatch watches) were fine. Since you bought your BB from the Delhi airport, report them to the authorities the next time you travel. Another thing for the document support obsessed legal system - ava issues thermal paper invoices which fade out in a few weeks/months so ensure you scan the invoice for future reference.

Got cheated by AVA by buying a expensive toy for my kid. The remote operated helicopter never worked.
There is no provision to check the product at the point of sale. The quality of item is substandard, you can get much better quality item from local market at half the price (as found later on asking around). Worse, there seems to be no provision to get a replacement except by approaching the AVA counter at the airport, which is not practicle/ convenient if you are not a frequent traveler.
The invoice is printed on thermal paper which is already faded and all details are not clearly legible.
