[Resolved]  Bajaj Wave — spare parts not available

I bought a Bajaj Wave in Jun 2006. Now I am facing a problem to maitain this vehicle as the spare parts are not available and non of the Bajaj service centers in Hyderabad do servicing of this vehicle.presently i am steing in pune from last 7 months there also spare parts is not available.

I am kind of having the same problem now. This morning as i was riding my vehicle the silencer top both broke including the casting on the crankcase. When i took the bike to a service center in chennai, the same place where i have bought the vehicle and servicing it the same place since i bought, they now say that the parts for wave are not in production anymore and that they have check it is available with production department or not. For their stupid design to hold the silencer to the crank case has led me now to a situation where i have to change the complete crankcase assembly, silencer, some bushings etc etc which will cost me 12000 +. The manager in the service center is giving a suggestion to fix it some how and sell it out for second hand and buy a new vehicle.

I cannot afford a new vehicle now, and most of my day to day work at home needs a vehicle and now i have no vehicle. Day after tomorrow my sister has to travel a long distance to take up an exam and now she has no vehicle travel .

I think they need to fix this issue with the company ASAP.

Now I am facing a problem to maitain this vehicle as the spare parts are not available and non of the Bajaj service centers in Banglore even Karnataka itself do servicing of this vehicle.presently i am steing in Udupi District in Karnataka please provide this as soon as posible.

Bajaj Wave — spares parts &service

I have Bajaj wave, dealer not serviced my bike because he have not available mejor parts of bike he said company closed bajaj wave product so we have no parts like (1) clutch lever (2)brake dandi(3)york(4) jump busing(5) jula busing(6) gear box parts

I have a bajaj wave for last 4 years. it was giving good perfohmance but suddenly its fuel cap got broken and nowhere to be found. If asked to dealer about it ,he tells that wait for 15 days,its over an year that its kept unused.

I HAVE A BAJAJ CHETAK, then Bought A Bajaj WAVE Expecting that BAJAJ will give good service & spares; It started Giving Problems from Day 1; The Bajaj team never bothered to Rectify and do the necessary repairs; After 1 Year they stopped Repairing and sys no Technician Available with them Who can Repair a BAJAJ WAVE "SHAME ON BAJAJ" and their Service Centers; Even They do no have Brake wire & Clutch wires; "BAJAJ HAS CHEATED ITS LOYAL CUSTOMERS" "BAJAJ HAS TAKEN FOR GRANTED" that Customers can't do anything;

I too have the same problem. I visited all the scooter spares shop in Lamington Road Mumbai, searching for the meter cable and fuel tank gauge. I feel let down and Bajaj should have an exchange scheme for all the Bajaj Wave owners of 2006 on priority basis. I also own a Royal Enfield which was manufactured in 1990 and I am happy to say all the spares are available till today.
