I, RG have purchased a Wrist watch from M/s BALSONS WATCH COMPANY, Pitampura, New Delhi-34 on 12th May 2010. The watch is worth Rs. 18500.00, same time I paid him cash & take the delivery. At that time, when I asked for bill & receipt then the owner told me to collect the same after 2-3 days due to some maintenance in their accounting software. Due the long relationship to my relative, I agreed & take the delivery. After 2-3 months, I visited to BOSS showroom in DLF Emporio Mall, Vasant Kunj & there I interrogate for the durability, warranty etc for this watch. They simply told me that this model has not officially launched in India & you have to first show the bill to us. I immediately proceed to Balsons Showroom, Pitampura & asked for the Invoice & receipt. First, he got blank that why I had asked for the bill & then he replied that I can’t issue the bill of this watch as we had import it from overseas. Then also, I asked that when you have imported it from overseas then also you have Import invoice/Custom Clearance for that, give me the copy of that. He again denies it & when forcefully I asked him then he told me that ‘you come tomorrow & I will try to do the best for you’.
Next day I visited again & immediately he gives this invoice to me. I frequently asked how this invoice is available now as you are denying yesterday. After hearing me, he got confused & finally replied that sir this is your bill & you do what do you want, this is the best that I can do for you. Sir, then I visited again to BOSS showroom in DLF Emporio & the company’s executive void the guarantee of this watch by saying it was a fraud & this watch is not purchased from any of our registered dealer or company’s import in India.
