I have net purchased a watch from China for 75 $ which was Air parcelled vide CN No. RA[protected]CN. The item reached India on 08.9.12 and since then the status showing as

9/8/2012 2:44:00 PM INDIA KOLKATA FOREIGN LCAO Send item to customs (Inb).

Please let me know the actual status and when & how I will get it.

me too have the same problem.bought a mobile from china.they send it on 09.10.12 and received at kolkata customs on 15.10.12. the status showing "send to customs" for last 8 days.my tracking id is RA[protected]CN.let me know did u got your parcel.anybody pleass help me about what happenedx next.

Dear Readers,

Kolkata customs are always having the issues..The delay is because, they might have opened it and charged some duty..Please take receipt while taking the delivery from the postman else don't receive if duty is charged..If they have charged some duty, it's illegal and not as per law. According to law, gifts valued upto Rs.5000/- or less (valued at originating country) is not duty payable. If they have charged some duty, file an application for refund with the customs and get it refunded..
