[Resolved]  ICICI Bank — Credit card

Issue still pending from last 2 years...

This is regarding my credit card no. 4477 xxxx xxxx 2007 bank icici new delhi, my credit card limit was rs. 20000/- and bank sent me a statement of rs. 34000/-they have charged me over my bill limit and as per cibil i have to pay only rs. 2500/- . For the recovery of excess payment they called me many time even thought i am ready to pay the amount as per cibil, but they threaten me to pay the excess amount, i am mentally harassed by them, bank people call me more than 10 time every day.

I want to settel the due payment as per the cibil only.

ICICI Bank Credit Card No 4477 4683 9581 6001 — Charging of wrong fee

Dear Sirs,
I am in receipt of an e mail intimating me that the Bank has modified some of the terms and conditions and consequently a fee of Rs 100/ will be charged for remittance of cash for repayment of card usage.
I have given substantial business on my credit card and at the end of July the outsandings were NIL. However I am now informed that I have to make a remittance of Rs100/ cash transaction made during June 2008.
I have left India for Singapore in the month Dec 2007and have been living in Singapore and all my remittances have been by way of cheques.
The Card was offered to me by way of Promotion free of charges and as such I do not accept any unilateral change of terms.
The net effect of this fee charged to me is the bank now will charge me a late payment fee Rs 600 thus escalating my liability to 700 Rs and such recurring debits every month swelling my my dues and a prospect I visualise and fear very much.
I have already sent an e mail refusing to make any payment as requested in your mail and if this charge is not withdrawn I will be constrained to surrender the card and lodge a complaint with the Consumer Complaints Forum and also to the Banking ombudsman

This refers to my credit card statement dated 18-08-08.

The Amount of Rs.17798/- has been debited twice and accordingly the interest and service tax charges.The same amount was released vide cheque no 211860 dated 01-07-08 and dropped in the box on the same day.there was sufficient balance till 03-07-08 but the cheque was presented on 09-07-08 and unfortunately there was shortfall of Rs.6500/- on the very day. I was also not communicated reg. the return of cheque due to insufficient funds.I am always prompt in making payment.I have requested to your bank's executive Mr. Ranjan reg. waiving off the interest and service tax charges amounting to Rs.2688.18/-alongwith service tax charges amounting to Rs.332.26 against this payment as well as the extra debit amount of Rs17798/- alongwith the interest charges of Rs.1837.76/-and service tax charges of Rs.227.15/-. I have also cleared the total balance against the Aug month statement vide cheque no.211882 dated 23-08-08 amounting to Rs.17798/- and cheque no.211883 dated 23-08-08 amounting to Rs.10730/- both drawn upon ICICI Bank.

If I would have been informed on time then I could deposit the funds without fail or If the cheque would have been presented on 03-07-08 then the cheque could be cleared.Hence, I request you to kindly waive off the interest as well as service tax charges being your honest customer.

I am using icici bank credit card(master card) wid credit limit Rs.30, 000/.My credit card no.[protected].I have recieved August month statement.In that over limit charges Rs.500/ was mentioned.I have paid Rs.17, 000/ thro'two cheques (Rs.14, 000+Rs.3, 000) dated 08.07.2008.According to June statemant Total amount due was Rs.11, 661.71/, then in july upto 07.07.2008 shoud be calculated.Totally it comes approx.Rs.25, 000/ only.After having paid sum of Rs.17, 000/ on 08-07.2008, I have used the card.Then why did you put Over limit charge?Please verify & give me the correct statement.Putting extra interest charches and doing REVERSAL also ocurring often.Please send me correct statement always.

ICICI Bank And Reliance Mobile — Mobile Recharge issue

Hi,

I came to know that through ICICI bank website, I can recharge my Relaiance Prepaid mobile. In ICICI website, they have mentioned that customers can recharge Reliance ( a few other service providers as well) mobile from Rs. 10 to 5000 and the amount will be added to the existing talk time as a top up.
As the instructions are very clear, I have opted for a recharge amount of Rs. 202. After a few minutes I got an SMS stating that recharge is successful. When I check my mobile for balance, The balance amount is the same before I recharged. The relaince guys recharged my mobile with some other plan( Reliance Freedom which gives a Rs. 200 talk time for Reliance to Reliance customers and a validity of 3 months). This is not a topup recharge. This is a change of service which I didnt opt for.
I was looking for a top up balance to the existing balance but I was given a different service altogether.

I spoke to Relaince customer care and ICICI customer care as well. Though they understood the problem, I didnt get any solution.

Here is the ICICI bank website and as per the first faq listed, the recharge we opt through their website will be used for increasing the talk time but not for service change.

Sir I am using your good bank lifetime free Gold credit card No. [protected] for last two years. I am sorry to say that despite this computer generated system the proper billing is not done. In May 2008 I personally collected my statement hard copy from ICICI bank Kanpur and paid the complete amount with in due date as reflected on statement. But every month I am receiving the messages for outstanding bills, as on date 1475/-.Once I paid the complete amount with in due date in May 2008 why this problem is created?. I have done a lot of correspondence with customer care on E-mail but no solution. Kindly do some thing to solve my problem and also tell me the procedure to surrender the credit card. ICICI Bank — Missing Documents

I got a call some weeks ago from[protected], and from a person called Narinder claiming to be from the Loan Department from ICICI Bank. They made several calls, offering to give a loan against property. As the conversation progressed, one Mr. Ravi Sachdev came and collected photocopies of documents from us, and promised to give us some documentary proof of this conversation.

Now, he and the callers don’t respond. Ravi Sachdev number was [protected] and now that his wife picks up the phone, gave us his new number to be: [protected]. Each time Ravi pick sup the phone, which is rare, he promises to return the papers back to us  never happens.

The last my son spoke with Ravi, Ravi said that their office’s name is IFS, which is a DSA of ICICI, and have offices in Videocon Towers, near Jhandewalan Extn. Now, their offices are in the process of being shifted to Pitam Pura on the 3rd and 5th floor.

We are very concerned, because there is plenty of fraud around, and these people have photocopies of our property papers and may attempt to fraudulently sell the property or take a loan against it in my name. We would appreciate if you could register our complaint and look into the matter.

ICICI Bank : Credit Card — ICICI Credit Card

I am a ICICI Credit Card Holder and my due minimum payment was aprox 1500Rs, i received a call from ICICI Credit Card Collection Agency. a collection boy told me that if you pay 400Rs then you will not charged for late payment fee. i have a written proof on payment slip that you will not charged for late payment fee but when i received a statement i charged for Late Payment. I informed to ICICI Bank that now i will pay only when you remove a wrong late payment charge.
Now after 4-6 month total due payment is aprox 33000/-Rs aprox but my actual use is only aprox 21, 000Rs. I have also requested to ICICI Bank that on my actual usage whatever the minimum amount i have to pay i am ready. but now this Bank has reseved 32831/-Rs in my ICICI Saving Account.

my request to you is please support in this matter to solve because for me 32831/- amount is very huge amount.

ICICI Bank Credit Card Visa Gold — Overbilling and denial of credit period

I am very punctual in payments and at no point of time I was a defaulter. Surprisingly, for the past one year, I have been experiencing overbilling and denial of credit period all the time. Everytime the bill contains the Service Chages, interest and late payment levies and fees etc. on some reason or the other. The Bank fails to forward the bills in time and demands for interest, service charges etc.even on making prompt payments. Despite lodging number of complaints on the Customer Service Cell on phone from time to time, the concerned officials are turning deaf ears. I would appreciate, if you kindly deliver me with a justice in the matter and penalise the delinquent officials for the same. Thanking you, Praful M. Lale.

ICICI — Unnecessary Billing

I have cleared the out standing bill and paid the necessary amount to close the Select in Case account but Still every month they are sending bills

When I call Customer care and ask them to close they say they will get back to me.

Still issue issue is open since last 7 months I have written 19 emails but no solution yet

ICICI Bank Credit Card Department — non credit of payment in credit card a/c.

i had paid rs.10000/- on 2-08-08 @ gandhinagar branch of i.c.i.c.i bank by s.b.s. bhavnagar check no.418689dt. 31-7-08. as his amreli branch had denied to receive this payment though payment was to made for his creditcard account.this payment credit is not credited in my a/c.& there customer care executives had force me to pay another rs. 10000/-immediately saying that payment made in there gandhinagar branch is not received yet. so to avoid intrest i had pay second time rs.10000/- from my son a/c. in i.c.i.c.i.bank at bhavnagar as per his demand & to special payment receiver man who was send by bank credit card department at bhavnagar.inspite of this intrest was charged to me in this month statementof my a/c. no.[protected]

ICICI Bank — nonrecipt of pdc cheques

i inform you that my lone account no.LPG[protected] is exist with you it is still running.now i changed mode of payment by auto debit account no.[protected] from 5-8-2008.my auto debit will be on 5-9-2008.
till today i have not received my pdc cheque.kindly look into the matter & send my pdc cheque urgentlyof bank of india, m.i.road jaipur, account no.-[protected].if address is not correct in your record, kindly update my address as under-plot no.-a-1, bank-colony, gajsinghpura, opp. of heerapura power house, jaipur-302024, mobile no.-[protected].
