I had booked 4 tickets (waitlisted) from Mumbai to Delhi on the[protected]. Only one ticket got RAC. I had filed TDR for claiming the refund tickets on 20 th Mar' 09. The PNR no. for the ticket is [protected].

There is lack of communication and follow up from IRCTC to CCM/Northern Railway. This has created lot of hardship and I had to follow up with IRCTC, Chennai, Delhi. I have incured huge telephone bills and have suffered mental agony. I would like to be compensated not only for the ticket refund but also for the cost towards follow up and mental agony from the Railways.

I and my wife travelled in 2AC from Lalgarh to Delhi in Avadh Assam Exp. on 27.09.09 PNR [protected]--A HORRIBLE JOURNEY--WE THINK IT WAS A REJECTED COACH--ALL ACCESSORIES PROVIDED WERE VERY DIRTY...we felt if we were travelling in some coach of old times..When we asked them about Complaint form they denied it..All copassengers were harassed even..

taking Rs 50.00 per meal (veg). But according to the amount meal is not good .
Hence ishall be highly oblige if you kindly look the matter.

FROM PATNA TO DELHI Dt.01/07/2010.I HAD Ist CLASS ORDINERY TICKET FOR TRAVEL IN TRAIN AND HOPE FOR BIRTH ALLOTEMENT IN RUNNING TRAIN. I REQUEST TO TTE FOR BIRTH BOOKING WITH EXTRA CHARGE IN RUNNING TRAIN, UNFORTUNATELY THE BIRTH WAS NOT VACANT IN TRAIN AND TTE COULD NOT ALLOT ME BIRTH.

AFTER SOME TIME A PERSON BOARD TO TRAIN FROM MUGAL SARAI STATION AND ASK FOR TICKET. I SHOW Ist CLASS TICKET FROM PATNA TO DELHI LIKE OTHER PERSON. AFTER CHECKING THE TICKET HE TREATS ONLY TO ME AS WITHOUT TICKET AND DEMAND FOR Rs.3014 AS PENALTY.
I REQUEST & TELL HIM THAT I AM NOT WITHOUT TICKET I HAVE Ist CLASS TICKET LIKE OTHER PERSON AND I GOT PERMISSION FROM TTE FOR TRAVEL IN TRAIN WITHOUT ALLOTMENT OF BIRTH. IF YOU ARE NOT AGREE TO ME THAN I DEBOARD FROM TRAIN AT NEXT RAILWAY STATION.
HE DENIED MY REQUEST AND DEMANDING FOR PENALTY FOR Rs.3014.I ASK HIM THAT 4 ANY PERSON ARE TRAVELLING IN TRAIN WITH ME BUT YOU ARE NOT DEMANDING TO OTHERS FOR PENALTY.HE COULD NOT GIVE ANY ANSWER AND IGNORED.
I REALISED HIS CRUEL BEHAVE TO ME AND REQUEST THAT I AM AGREE TO GIVE Rs.3014/- BUT KINDLY ADJUST MY TICKET FOR Rs.818/- VIDE TICKET NO.D[protected] Dt.01/07/2010 AT TIME 18:46 FROM PATNA RAILWAY STATION WHICH IS ALREADY PAID TO INDIAN RAILWAY. OR ALLOT ME BIRTH AND TAKE EXTRA CHARGE.OR CHARGE REASONABLE AMOUNT OR GRANT PERMISSION FOR DEBOARDS TO NEXT RAILWAY STATION.
HE IGNORED MY ANY REQUEST AND NEITHER HE ALLOT ME BIRTH NOR ADJUST MY TICKET AMOUNT Rs.818/-. HE TREATED ONLY ME AS WITHOUT TICKET IN FIVE PERSON AND CHARGED Rs.3014 AS WITHOUT TICKET VIDE RT.NO.542201 Dt.01/07/2010 OF (East Central Railway) THAT WAS UNREASONABLE CHARGES.
AFTER PAYING Rs.818 + Rs.3014/-=3, 832/- (Three Thousand Eight Hundred Thirty Two)
I GOT INCONVENIENCE, HARASSMENT AND DEFAMATION.
IT WAS PARTICULARISM WITH OTHER PERSON THAN ME.
NO ANY LAW PROVIDES TWO TIME PENALTY FOR ONE OFFENCE.
INDIA IS A DEMOCRACY COUNTRY AND LAW PROVIDES SAME PENALTY FOR EACH PERSON.
IT WAS MY HARASSMENT AND DEFAMATION THAT IS AGAINST OF HUMAN RIGHTS.
KINDLY TAKE NECESSARY ACTION AGAINST CONCERN PERSON BOARD FROM MUGAL SARAI STATION AND GUIDE ME FOR GET REFUND FROM INDIAN RAILWAYS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

Indian Railway — food complaint

i was travelling to delhi from nagpur on the 30th of november 2010 by the train no.2429/rajdhani exp n my coach no.B4, seat no.0011 n i have a complain against the pantry manager Mr. Lalit Sharma the food quality he served was very poor it was also stale, the water bottel he served was not even sealed n on asking for the complaint register he refused to give it instead was trying to to bribe some other passengers by giving them some more snackc who tried favour me.

Indian Railway — TDR Refund

I had filed for TDR. But I have received only 50% of the amount (Rs 667/- against Rs 1335/-), whereas in case of train running late by more than 3 hours, the refund is 100%. My PNR No was [protected].

Respected Sir/Madam,
Indian Railway is a shame to our country, especially the trains to south india (kerala). All the coaches for rajdhani, netravati, kanyakumari express, garib rath... are in very deteriorating condition. We pay high price for travel from mumbai to Kerala, and even in the second AC, there were cockroaches and rats. We were scare that these cockroaches might enter ours and our childrens ears in the night, so we had to put cotton into all of our ears. Food on the rajdhani has absolutely no standard. The government should take into consideration that the food is for human consumption. Let the railway minister try travelling like us public do on any of these trains under the same conditions, eating the same food being served to general public, he or she will understand what we are talking about. People do not take into consideration that smoking and entering the AC compartment creates problem for everyone in the AC coach. Rules are not meant to be broken. The railway minister should look into these complaints and do the needful.

Indian Railway — missing of hoarding

I am irfan khan "Authorized associate" of omaxe, countywalk,DLF, Vistara,etc in indore.In indore platform no.3 i displayed 34 boards(02*04) in perpendicular shape for advertisement & duration of advertisement is 06/04/2010 to till date(05/11/2010) or may it will be continue. But one day i've reached platform no.3 to check my boards that time i found my nine boards is missing out of 34.This all bords i displayed under your agent Mr.R.D.mishra.now what to do? what I will take step?plz help me.

A1 (second A/C) compartment worst maintain and dirty. People who were maintaining were careless in attitude. Specially Toilet was not clean.

mr.chief security commissiner, RPF, W.RLY, churchgate, mumbai, so many mails about incidence of 17-5-10(train no 2906) sent to rail minister ms.m.bannerjee, to all top concerned officers, to my utter surprise they are making people FOOL..on 26-7-10 mr.m.k.chavan, ASI, crime br.AHAMADABAD came to amravati, has taken my statement in writing, verbaly i described the whole incidence in detail in presence of mahendrakumar, constable, crime of ah!bad.i am ready to cooperate all concerned, i can identify all the 3 culprits.I AM FROM HOME TOWN OF HER EXCE.HONBLE PRESIDENT OF INDIA DR.MRS PRATIBHATAI PATIL. WITHIN COMING 15 DAYS, IF NO ACTION IS BEING TAKEN, I WILL HAVE TO MOVE TO PRESIDENT OF INDIA FOR JUSTICE.ALL CONCERNED ARE AGAIN REQUESTED TO TAKE SERIOUS COZ. OF MY COMPLAINT

I would like to bring to your notice that, i travelled by 2493 Banglore - Hazrat Nizamuddin Rajdhani exp on Friday 27/08/2010 by 2 Tier.
The compartment was dirty, stinking. The toilets had a bad stench, leaking. The seats were not at all comfortable, pillow cover were not cleaned, fans were making cranking sound. There were no mobile or laptop chargers.
We got down at Secundarabad Jn & before the train arrived, the pantry staff started asking for tips and then the house keeping ( person who gave us pillows and bedsheets, asked for tip ).
I wish to know that if we are paying more to travel by 2 AC and that to by Rajdhani Exp, we do not expect this kind of treatment.Contrary to the travel in 2Tier AC in Hussain Saagar Exp was far more better and very comfortable, clean, neat and enjoyable.

Indian Railway — refund due to non availability of a/c coach with 3225 up on 11.06.2009

I had booked for ac reservation in 3225 up intercity exp from sakri to samastipur and in 8182 exp from samastipur to tata with pnr Nos-[protected] & [protected].During travel I found that no AC CHAIR Car was provided in 3225up and no any arrangement was made for reserved tickets.I had to travel in general coach with my family with very difficulty.
Regarding this I claimed for refund at tatanagar station with TDR No-0160650 on 23/6/2009.But even after 14 months I had not received my refund.

AC 2 Tier Indian Railways — obscenity

on way back to lucknow on LTT-lucknow superfast on30aug2010 morning around bhopal, we have found all coach attendant /vendors /technicians were openly collecting at end of our ac 2 tier and drinking , enjoying , giving nightmares to ladies who wud like to attend lavatory, smoking was just a fad ,when drinking is cognizable offense in train why these rly coach employees are not expelled,fined ,TT himself see and ignores , why do we honest citizen have to undergo this , we occupied seat no 31/33, one of the attendant was tirupati tripathi--kindly take action.

sir/madam i want to know why police and responsible person of our railway id not taing any initiative to stop people from crossing tracks it seems that no one is there to look after this especially in nalasopara where people break rules plzzz take some serious action against those people

I travelled with my family from Jammu tawi to New delhi in train no 2920, name Malwa express in Ac two tier. I asked to attender for providing bedsheet & nepkin. He replied arrogantatly, only one bed sheet per berth allowed for delhi passanger. I told to give me complaint book, he didn't give, simply told to meet with gaurd. I will very surprised that in every train IRCTC charges for that facilities then whats the problem in Malwa express cotracter in giving service.

I travelled in train no 2920, malwa expresson 11 september'2010 from Jammu twai to New delhi with my family. I asked to attender for providing bed sheets. He told me very very arrogantly that bed sheet for delhi passangers are not allowed as per instruction given his contracter. I simply told to give me complain book. he again arrogantly told me to meet guard for these things. I don't know what is the procedure in Malwa express because i have travelled more than too many times a distance that very less of this travell but every time i used all facilities. Have IRCTC given some special freedom to malwa express or any rules for that.? Is IRCTC has not charged for facilities ...??????

I was travelling from Bhubaneswar to Bolpur in AC Two-Tier Coach (Berth No. 12) by 2507Guwahati Express on 09.09.2010 and gathered horrible experience after taking lunch which contained only three items like rice, yellowish fluid as so-called daal and another fluid with 2-3 pieces of old palm-king as the so-called curry from the running Pantry Car against payment of Rs. 40.00 (vide Receipt No. 11182) to M/S Brandavan Food Products. There should have some vigilence over the quality and quantity of supplied food in the running train.
