In all the pantry cars of Indian railway pantry car ,they are nit providing biscuit with tea.The qulity of food is aldo extremely bad.

Travel By Indian Railway — Side upper berth

Dear All
While Indian Railways have dropped the structure of 3 side bearths , they still continue to have the upper berth at very high level for all thoose compartment where this change was done.
Please do the needful

Honourable minister of Railway,
Railway is trying to provide better facilities to ladies, old people, physically handicaped person but it is very surprise to observe that the enquiry counter in the all railway station of Sambalpur Division, in East coast Railway is closed. If you want any information you have ring 139. KBK district under Sambalpur division is very backward and poor that is known to every Indian. To know the platform position passanger has to wait for announcenet which is done just before arrival of the Train and it is difficult for the passanger to catch the train specially for ladies with children, senior citigens and physically handicapped. Further specially in Titilagarh Raiwaly station though Platform No One is in functioning condion most of the Train come in either in Two or Three no platform .
I hope your good honour will look into it personnally and do the need ful for needy.

Indian Railway — Non Refund of Full Amount

Sir

I have booked one ticket in Shramjeevi Express from Patna to New Delhi on 01.06.2009 thur the PNR No. [protected] , due to some disturbance in Khusrupur Statione , My train was not come on time & I wass booked another ticket in Rajdhani Express. I have call the Railway customer care for refund of my old ticket, the person say , you have filled the TDR in IRCTC & your claim will be refunded on 90 days.

But sorry to say that after completition of more than 15 month I have got only my 50% amount and the payment of balance amount , department says my case no. 650-NR/34 was repudiated due to Ticket was not surrendered within 12 hrs after the departure of the train so no further refund is admissible.

Sir, I want to say that I was held e-ticket , and the law of e-ticket says that you only claim of your refund amount after filling TDR , so how can I surrendered the ticekt within 12 hrs .

so kindly look the matter and credited my balance amount in my A/c at your earliest.

Indian Railways Train Ticket — debit of bank account without ticket being booked

Dear Sir,

I am a account holder of IRCTC. I tried to book a ticket on 28.09.2010 from Secunderabad to Nagarsole by Train No.7064 Ajanta Express of 05.11.2010 for self and wife. I tried to pay the amount through debit card of my canara bank, kundanbagh, hyderabad savings bank account. When I clicked 'pay', it was under 'process, please wait' for a long time and finally it was 'timed out'. I again tried and the same thing got repeated. However, my canara bank savings bank account no.[protected] got debited twice for an amount of Rs.502 and again for Rs.502 vide transaction no.42512590 and 45091472. I request the authorities to rectify the mistake and credit the amount back to my savings bank account indicated above.

Indian Railway — Money refund is not credited in my account

i m really unpleased about the current position of Indian Railway. I have booked a ticket and due to some problem I decided to cancel the ticket and after cancellation the money has not been refunded to my account till now.

Indian Railway — Late Running Train at terminating station

It seems regularly that while train is reaching near terminating station, controller of that area are neglecting to receive train properly,mainly at Varanasi And Patna Station.Kindly take attention.
Respected Sir/madam,

WE had taken a E-ticket of Delhi - Haridwar railway ticket. As per notification of railway website it was shown that tickets were available but at the time when we bought the tickets {Internet tickets} we were given RAC.
I wanted to know that why this mis-managment happend.

this is to inform that chapra tata express train timings create harashment to the passengers.its actual time at jasidih junction is at eleven thirty p.m but it never comes on time.infact its always late of 3hrs or even more.almost whole night has to be spent sitting at station because theres no exact time of arrival, time keeps on extending.please Solve the timing problem in order to avoid inconvenience.

i travelled by the kacheguda express on the 16th oct by ac 3 tier
i have the following complaints the toilets were stinking hence the whole bogie was also stnking there were cockroaches running all aroung the compartment it was really miserable i complained to the tt but he said there is nothing one can do about it please look into this

TDR Process for refund is very slow also there is no particular Cell or website of railway where one can make their complaints for refunds againsts etickets

2nd AC TICKET MISSED — 2ND AC ticket missed

Sir,I am sure purchased 2nd AC Ticket for 20.01.2011 in train number :16614 for travel from coimbatore-to Ahmedabad.it is a confirmed ticket.Icould not remember where I misplaced this ticket.Could somebody can help me to trace the ticket and further avoid misuse by someone else

I HAVE BOARDED IN TRAIN IN DHARANGDHA ON SCHEDULLE TIME AND SLEPT. NO BODY HAVE CAME TO ASK FOR TICKET. WHEN TRAIN REACHED AHMEDABAD AND DEPARTED FROM AHMEDABAD TTE CAME IN COACH AND ASKED FOR TICKET. WHEN I HAVE GAVE HIM TICKET. HE TOLD ME YOUR PRESENCE IS NOT REPORTED NOW YOU ARE WITHOUT TICKET. YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY FINE AS WELL AS TICKET PRICE.AFTER SOME DISCUSSION HE HAS TAKEN MY TICKET AND WENT OUT SOME WHERE. IT WAS AROUND 12 O CLOCK AT NIGHT. I SLEPT.AGAIN IN THE MORNING IN KOTA JN, I HAVE TRIED TO APPROACH TTE FOR MY TICKET. BUT TTE HAS BEEN CHANGED IN KOTA JN. WHOLE JOURNEY I HAVE TRAVELED IN MENTEL STRESS AFTER PAYING RS.1640/-
IN MUGAL SARAI AND GAYA JN, AGAIN AND AGAIN I HAVE FACED PROBLEM DUE TO ABSENCE OF TICKET.

Indian Railway Tatkal scheme booking thru internet is totally fraud and Govt should look into it (if it really wants to provide services to passengers). At 8 am site will not open at all for one hour and when it will open, no tickets will be available.

Interestingly this sites would be open at railway agents computer (thanks to pirated software and booster) for there terminal.

I have Many Call To railway station pune but no receive or reply to my Cell bell have continuous go but no reply in two day.
Please give me current Status in my bike my receipt no is 36696.

Indian Railway Station — Negligence of Passenger Care at Railway Station

I, P.S.PAL, along with my son RAJAT PAL, performed my journey from Mankapur to Delhi on 07/11/2010 vide PNR [protected] by Train No 5273
( SATYAGRAH EXPRESS).

But it is sad to complain with extrem sorrow that due to severe carelessness towards passengers from Railway Station Management side, I and my son got injured due to the following:

1. Due to Festive Season, great rush of passengers was there at the plat form no 3 of Mankapur Railway Station.

2. That there were no lights on at The Entire Mankapur Railway Station Compound when Train No.5273 (SATYAGRAH EXPRESS) turned on at the Platform No 3.

3. That Coach Nos. like S-1/ S-2 / S-3 / SE-1 were not mentioned at the Coaches.

4. Stoppage of the train is for 02 minutes only.

5. Due to invisibility in the dark at the platform it turned in to stamped and I got injured in both the knees and my son got fracture in the two fingers of left hand and treatment for the same costed arround Rs.18000.00 ( Rupees Eighteen thousand only) towards treatment at Max Hospital, Noida and a great inconvenience too.

6. That for all this NE Railway should be held responsible and answerable.

Western Railway — filthy AC coaches

inspite of charging high ticket rates for 2 ,3 AC & AC CC, all the train bogies have Cockroaches & small insects constantly running on walls, seats, windows etc.
the toilets are also stinking & messy. Seats push buttons broken, covers dirty & what not.
Inspite of complaining to the station heads & main offices, no action is being taken.
will the authorities wake up take some Hygiene Action?

my name is himanshu gupta. the callcenters set up by railways never give the correct information about the departure of trains. Today when i call to the customer care center of railways to enquire about the departure time of "firozpur janta express" (9023), they told me that the train is running late by 1hour 8 minutes and when i called again to the customer care than they were tellin me that train is at right time. due to this confusion i missed my train. so kindly take the proper action against the railway.
