[Resolved]  Indian Railway — Miss management at AC coaches

In all the pantry cars of Indian railway pantry car ,they are nit providing biscuit with tea.The qulity of food is aldo extremely bad.

I also booked ticket 3 moths before. My Ticket status is still WL 1. Last three month showing the same status WL1.

I wonder 3 months before when i booked the ticket, the status showing WL1. Now 4 days left for journey, till now it showing WL1. in between time non of passenger cancelling their ticket.

Whether this is the wonder ? or some type cheating ?

If it is cheating, Black sheep should be punished.

Staff and management of duronto — Did not serve food and food finished in some time

i am sitesh kumar from kolkata. I am traveling in 12285 duranto exp. from hydrabad to delhi. My pnr no. Is ([protected]) .
sir i want to say that i did not get any thing in time. Staff did not serve food. And we bring our food in cantin. When we went the cantin he says that all food had been finished. Sorry And i can give diner in night. But when we went at night for food he says that i have no bread no vegetable. Sory i can give u only rice and puls. In the morning i went his toilet. His toilet had very dirty and he has no water in toilet.

The Train was cancelled by the Railway. I had aplied for refund but almost 7 months has passed.and got no refund.and assurance from IRCTC.My Money is Blocked without bInterest..

Indian Railway — Ac debited but ticket not booked

Dear Sir/Madam

I have booked an online railway ticket from IRCTC.CO.IN from LTT to Raipur in the name of Mr. Subodh Kumar Padhi dated 18/01/2011.
But the ticket has not been booked and my sbi account no ([protected]) has been debited.
I checked my online account, it showed the status as sucess and the reference no is IG38709819.
So please do the needful and refund my amount to my account.

Indian Railway Food Stalls — quality of food water

Hi Guys,
i keep traveling between CST to borivali.the quality of food ,water and services is just very substandard.
The sweets the serve are so low on quality and they are priced highly.
Duplicate eclairs,pan pasand,biscuits all sold at the price of the original..
a lot of people travel and spend a lot of time at the platforms ...substandard quality of eatables only adds to our woe.... I hope you understand and take some action...
or else this too will be another flaw in the system.

Indian Railway — refund not made

i was booking an e-ticket but due to an error occured in mid of transaction the transaction were made with transaction id [protected] and [protected] each of Rs 208.00 from my bank account (AXIS BANK) on 02.02.2011 and03.02.2011 but tickets for both the transaction were not booked. I have not received the refund till date. kindly help me to get the refund.

Indian Railways Employee — ill character, irresponsible behaviour, no sense of consumer respect

This complaint is from a small city bilimora frm navasari district, state gujarat.
Today 7th Feb 2011, morning 6.30 I went to buy train tickets for Mumbai, the person at tge ticket window (female) has evidently been disrespectful and ignorant of her duties n responsibilities.
When asked for a ticket to Mumbai for a fast train she hands me a ticket to a local train, when told she with utter no shame talks with disrespect and anger. I have just one question, these railway employees are for the people's help and comfort or for abusing us, disrespect and emotional trauma.

Indian Railways — services in ac coach and behaviour

The bed-sheets provided by railways in ac coaches in trains Dehradun-Janta-Dehradun express, chandigarh express and doon express are used ones and the packets are open. The sheets and pillow covers provided are dirty and they are reused without being washed. Moreover, towels are denied, no soap is provided in the toilets, the coaches are in horrible condition. The TTE and attendants are rough in behaviour are they being paid for sleeping in ac coaches. They do not bother to inform the passengers about the arrival of train at the destination upto where the passenger is booked which causes lot of hardship when the passenger reaches at his designated station during midnight.

Indian Railways — in efficiency of officers and unbearable delays..

Dear sir / madam
I am travelling by 12810 Howrah Bombay Mail (on 25 Feb 11) my coach no is A2 birth no 23 (PNR No[protected]. The details of horrific management my Indian Railways is as follows :-

- The train had to start on 23 Feb 11 at 2015 hrs but it started at 0530 hrs on 24 Feb 11, nine and a half hours late, reason cited for delay is that for last one year all trains moving out of Howrah towards Mumbai are getting delayed because of maoist threat. Its ridiculous that rather than punishing the maoists thousands of passengers every day are being troubled. what kind of mis-governance is this?

- Secondly they have delayed the train by fourteen more hours because of an accident between two goods trains. They have diverted the train and at every station it is standing for hours even a change of engine at Titilagarh station has taken 2 hrs. So the total delay is now 26 hours for a journey of twelve hours when there was an alternate route also available. we could clearly witness the lack of decision making and coordination in the organisation.

- Thirdly there is a group of Chinese nationals who are travelling in the same coach. There is no assistance for them and there is no one accountable who is telling any thing. These foreigners have to go to Champa which has already been skirted. few fellow passengers are helping them.

- There is a screaming need of a competition for Railways and private players should be given entry to this sector or else Railway staff will never leave their Chalta hai attitude and continue to harm National image and growth.

- I request u to please send this note to Respected Prime minister and Madame Mamta Banerjee who needs to take care of the affairs of Indian Railways.

I have the above ticket of waiting list No.1 in the final chart. Due to emergency I traveled on the same ticket.

One Mr. Chandel was the TT Incharge of AC couches on that day. From Bhusaval I have requested him to allot me one vacant seat. Actually, in AC 3 tier Berth No.3 and 4 are vacant. Mr. Chandel took the bribe from general ticket holder and allotted to them. But didn’t allotted to me the same. On the same date he allotted berth no.42 on AC 2 Tier to general ticket holder without making any ticket and kept all the difference money in the pocket. Even though I have also ready to pay the official difference to get that berth. Hole night I traveled here and there.

Kindly investigate and take necessary action.

I appreciate you necessary action on Mr. Chandel.

Indian Railway — Not Refunded after TDR filed

Sir/Madam,
I claimed the money refund against the tdr filed on 14/12/2011 for the status passenger not travelled. but Indian railway didn't approve the refund and said the case is repudiated .As per their records passenger travelled on ticket.
So what should I do ? how will I prove I was not travelled....
Only thing that I may have is the mobile phone conversation during that duration of journey ....

I am very much disappointed by Sn.TTE behaviour as I not given to him extra payment for my 8Yrs Son with Genral Ticket
Sn.TTE Mr.O.P.Sinha demanding Plenty and Ex tkt charge Rs500/- But when we agree for give payment he refuse to give reciept and misbehave when we ask his name as his ID card not located on his Dress.
For many time request he give receipt of Rs315/-
My Wife very much shoked by that as TTE say Either gjive payment otherwise he drop my Son at station as without sleeper Ticket by Police

Indian Railway — WORST MANAGEMENT

THE BRAHMAPUTRA MAIL (4055&4056 ) DON'T HAVE COACH NUMBER PRINTED/WRITTEN ON IT. THE RESERVATION CHART ALSO DOESN'T REFLECT THE POSITION OF COACH FROM ENGINE.DUE TO THIS THOUSANDS OF PASSENGERS OF SLEEPER CLASSES HAVE TO FACE THE PROBLEM WHILE BOARDING INTO THE TRAIN DAILY repeat DAILY.
EITHER THEY MISS THE TRAIN OR THEY BOARD INTO THE WRONG COMPARTMENT WHICH RESULTS IN A UNNECESSARY SHIFTING OF ALL BELONGINGS AND FAMILY MEMBERS..
SO, FOR THE SAKE OF LAC'S OF PEOPLE OF THIS ROUTE RAILWAY SHOULD WRITE A FIXED NUMBER ON ALL THE COACHES.

ith due respect we Citizen of India, want to bring in to your kind attention about the problem we faced during the journey thru Indian Railway, all the trains are not running on time whether in winter or in summer. passengers not getting any prior information of delay in train timing and even on the occasion of festival railway is not looking serious, Railway should need to be think to arrange some more special trains while the period of festivals.
