i am also one of the prey to the KFJ lowest gold price jimmick.
In dec09-jan10 Keral fasion jeweeleary given one ad in the paper in that it stat that any person who can pay 5000 permonth for 6 months can take the jewellery worth 30,000/ with the gold rate lowest in the 6 months.
when we join the scheme they told you can buy the gold coin also.

when we went last month to redeem the amount/jewellery they said you can buy only gold ornaments not coins.
then we purchased the bangels and studs they charged uniformally the current rate of 1792/- per gram on that day price not 1580/- per gram rate metioned in the card.
the standard 20% waste is addred to the jeweelery which is high normally it will around 10 -15 in the other ranganathan street jeweelery shops.
when we ask the owner to reduce the price amount they said we already give the discount of Rs 3000 as the difference for the gold rate.( no explanation is given for this amount)
we paid the full amont without any discount.as the inchage is not intrested to talk and convice us.
they responce from the shop owner is very rude.
they are not showing any ornaments which is very clsoe to our Rs 30,000 /-
and they say we dont return the money also.
pl be aware KFJ is making more money by adding 20% waste for the waste / jewellery they are calculating only the current day rates not the lowest rate
like me more persons are joined in the scheme pl be aware it is a jimmick scheme run by the KFJ chennai.
they are cheating us
