i had purchased a designer couple watch set through rediff online shopping. this product was ordered by me on 23/03/2011 and the same was dispatched by the vendor "Mamta Arora" on 25/03/2011 vide AWB no.[protected] through TNT courier which was delivered to me on 26/03/2011. when opened the parcel, the box packing was in a very bad shape, the design of the ladies watch was something different from what i had ordered from (as per the displayed design on the site), waranty of 6 months (as promised by the vendor on site) was no where in the parcel and finally the lock of the ladies watch was not working at all and I had written a message for my parents’ wedding anniversary which was also not there!
i therefore lodged a complaint with rediff immediately on the same day (26th march) and the complaint was acknowledged by rediff vide their ref no. "Rediff=[protected]" first dated 26/03/2011 at 20:19 hours and thereafter many mails were exchanged between me and rediff. i had also sent the complaint to the vendor on her email id : '[protected]@yahoo.com' to which she did not respond till date nor does she attend any phone call.
rediff in consultation with the vendor then asked me to send the item back to vendor at my cost asking me to ensure that :
1) item should be returned with all accessories and original packaging
2) careful attention is to be given with the packing of the product to avoid damage during transit
these points were mentioned by rediff to me, to which i did take care of , sent back the item to the vendor who is located in Hyderabad at my own courier cost (which i am assured by rediff that the vendor will be reimbursing me the courier cost of Rs. 280/- (borne by me)through a pay order in 15 days.)on 02/04/2011 through blue dart courier vide AWB no.[protected] which was received by the vendor on 05/04/2011 at 12:50 p.m.
today I received the so called replacement, which was again dumped in the same box and in worst condition now and the ladies watch, though another design was sent, the belt of the ladies watch is completely broken from one side! Again no warranty card or anything stating the warranty. I am really frustrated and equally upset with this kind of condition of the parcel which I received today, as though I am beggar and the vendor is just doing a favour on me by giving the replacement !

This vendor seems to be an unethical business women who has no courtesy to respond to the customer nor is she particular about the replacement.
I am no longer interested in this vendor’s products and so called services. I am left with no other option but to approach you for help. Please help me get my full refund of Rs.349/ + my courier cost Rs. 280/- within next 5 working days also the cost of the courier, now which I will have to send back for refund.
