I have been alloted 16 shares for my other application and that to got credited after one week of it's listing in BSE.

Reliance Power Ltd. — Refund of money not done

It is really sad to see that a company run by India's one of the largest group is so careless in an important event like an IPO. I applied for 225 shares, first of all didnt get any shares, and neither I have received refund till date. All my efforts to contact company officials and Karvy officials have gone in vain. Couple of days ago I received letter from Karvy that my application was rejected, but the height of foolishness is that when application was rejected then why was my cheque realised?
I even sent a registered letter containing all the details to the registered office of the company, but alas! I even didnt receive the acknowledgement.
Kindly help me out as I being a senior citizen and the shareholder of Reliance Industries since its IPO (way back in 1977) am struggling to solve the matter.
The only thing now I can see is the Company Law Board.

Reliance Power Ltd. — Refund Money

I had applied for 225 Shares of Reliance Power Ltd., issuing cheque of Rs.25, 875/- dated 15.01.2008 in favour of Reliance Power IPO - R. I have been allotted 16 shares of the said company. I have filed my complaint regarding Refund of money on 14.04.2008 at the Registered Office of Reliance Power Ltd., at Vashi. As on today I have made certain telephonic calls at their office at Vashi every time they are taking details like Cheque No., Bank Name, No of Shares applied, etc., etc. and giving assurance that within a week I will get my refund money.

I have also tried to contact Karvy Computershare Pvt. Ltd., Hyderabad but no one responding.

Still today i.e. 4th June, 2008 yet I have not received my refund money accept assurance and assurances only.
