[Resolved]  Samsung — Complaint for not installing the new microwave oven

I have bought a Samsung Microwave Oven on 18/01/2008 from Shakshee Electronics ,Anna Nagr ,Chennai,India .I have called up the Samsung Customer Care for installing the Oven and nobody has turned up so far .It's amost more than a week.
Iam really Frustrated with the Customer Care.If I have to wait for 10 days for a new installation Iam really afraid how many days I have wait for a Service Call !!!!.

I had purchased a Samsung Microwave Oven (Model No. CE118KF) on 08/11/2001. A couple of weeks ago the microwave started arcing inside the chamber. I called Samsung Customer Care for several days but could not get through. Finally, after a lot of efforts, I found the contact number of the Bangalore Area Service Manager Mr.Madhavan and called him. The same day a atechnician came and inspected the oven and informed me that he would send a vehicle the next morning to pick up the oven and take it to the service centre as the ceramic coating of the inner chamber had got eroded in some places. Nothing happened for the next two days and then I was called by the service centre Team Leader who informed me that the estimated expenditure would be Rs.1, 500/- and if I agreed then he would arrange a pick-up of the oven the next day. For the next 10 days no one came from Samsung or called. Finally, after I called Mr.Madhavan again, the Team Leader called and informed me that they do not have the spare parts with them and neither could they offer an exchange price on a new oven as my product was more than 5 years old. I was given only one option- to buy a new oven at full price.
I find it quite unfair and ridiculous that I have to spend money to buy a brand new oven because Samsung is unable to replace a part. Is this the way Samsung pushes us to boost their sales?
When I started looking at the forum and the amount of dissatisfaction, I wasn't a bit surprised. Samsung is undoubtedly the worst frikkin company in consumer durables. Its not just in India, Its all over. And their phrase “Next is what?” ...A big joke...My ... God damned Buggers.

I have brought LCD TV LA22A450c1 model from Venus Electronics, Kumbakonam, Thanjavur Dist, Tamil Nadu.
I have brought the TV on 23.10.2008.
And i have some problems with the TV audio output.
I have contact our customer care on 2.1.2009 and my father have registered this as a query. The query number is [protected].
The customer service agent have said that the service men will be help you to fix the problem.
On 5.1.2009 my father contacted the customer service cell again and make enqiry about this. but till this day we have not got any fruitful answer regarding the complaint.
so we are unsatisfied with your service.

Today( January 06 2009 ) my father have returned back the LCD TV to the
VENUS ELECTRONICS, Kumbakonam, Thanjavur Dist, Tamil Nadu.

Could you please take any action on this and make us to get the refund or alternate LCD TV for this.

I am writing this email with the heavy heart.

I bought one DVD/RW Rom Samsung some where in June 2008 from then onwards i had gone to their repair centre 3 times. This time they asked for the replacement but 13 Dec 08 onwards it is with them only while making the call they say that i will take much more time the product is not in stock I don't know whether company is projecting new project for the DVD/RW? they also promised that they will extend the warranty for 3 months or so. I am in urgent need of DVD/RW neither they are giving me the replacement nor the repaired one. Kindly suggest me what would be the next step in your opinion.

My experience with Samsung electronic products is very bad. I would recommend not to choose Samsung. Because their after sales services are pathetic.

I bought Samsung WA82ATALE washing M/C in the month of April'08.
It was giving the skipping the selection with min load also.
I have given the complaint over phone and got the your complint No:[protected] on 3rd jan'08.

I had purchased Samsung Microwave Convection Oven Model " M 183DN from Girias, Bangalore in September 2006. The paint from the bottom and the top from inside the oven has come out in flakes and no servicecentre is ready to come to Ooty for the repairs. I have a Television and a Refridgerator from Samsung . Inspite being a loyal customer for the company I am feeling cheated that with two years the ovens paint has started coming off.

LET US ANALYSE WHAT WAS THE OUTCOME OF THE ESCALATIONS BELOW. I GOT A CALL ON 12-JAN FROM GURGAON AND GOT ASSURANCE THAT MY CONCERNS WILL BE TAKEN CARE. THEN I ALSO GOT A CALL FROM MYLAPORE CHENNAI OFFICE WHERE VIDHYA CALLED AND INFORMED ME THAT AC WILL BE REPLACED IN NEXT 25 DAYS AS BEING THE PART OF THE NORMAL PROCEDURE. I AM REALLY SURPRISED THAT NO ACTIONS ARE TAKEN EVEN WHEN THE CUSTOMER IS VERY CONCERNED.



MY BIG QUESTION IS WHY THE AC CANNOT BE REPLACED QUICKER THAN THE NORMAL PROCEDURE?
ARE MY CONCERNS TAKEN SERIOUSLY AND ON TOP PRIORITY?
THE MORE BIGGEST CONCERN IS THAT NOBODY FOLLOWS UP PROPERLY TOWARDS IT’S RESOLUTION?
NO PROPER COMMUNICATION IS PROVIDED ANY POINT OF TIME? BECAUSE OF THIS I HAVE WASTED AROUND Rs.100 IN FOLLOWUPS CALLS SEVERAL TIMES.

I GOT A CALL ON 6-JAN-09 AND SHIVA TECHNICIAN FROM WORSHOP CAME AND TOOK THE AC INVOICE. TODAY I.E. 9-JAN-09 THE WORKSHOP PEOPLE DROPPED THE AC AT MY HOME WITHOUT DOING ANY REPAIRS AND TOLD THAT IT WILL BE REPLACED.

WHEN I CALLED SHIVA KUMAR(WORKSHOP) AT [protected] AND GOT NO PROPER TIMELINE FOR THE REPLACEMENT. IT APPEARED THAT EVRYONE IS TRYING TO PLAY SAFE GAME MAKING ME FOOL. I GOT PRASHANT’S NO WHO WORKS IN SAMSUNG AND IS INCHARGE OF REPLACEMENT. I CALLED HIM AT HIS MOBILE NO [protected] AND GOT THE INFORMATION THAT AC WOULD BE REPLACED IN NEXT 2 WEEKS. HAVE A DONE A BIG MISTAKE BY BUYING SAMSUNG AC AND WHY SHOULD I SUFFER BY WAITING ANOTHER 1 MONTH FOR REPLACEMENT? I ALSO CALLED CALL CENTER AT[protected] AND SPOKE WITH SUPERVISOR PRADEEP. I had bought Samsung 1 Ton split AC AS12J on 20-sep-08. I have recently encountered a major problem on 18-Dec where the AC stopped providing cooling effect. I called Service call number[protected] on 19-Dec-09. After 4 reminders with follow-ups, service person came on 20-Dec at 12.15pm. He cleaned the filter and left telling that it is a COMPRESSOR problem and advised me to call[protected]. I called the customer care[protected] and logged complain on 20-Dec at 12.30pm. Complain number [protected] was provided. Again sending repetitive reminders by calling[protected] around 5 times, the technician contacted me on 22-Dec at 10.40am. He called from another customer care number[protected]. After rigorous follow up from them again, the technician came on 22-Dec at 3pm. He also left within 5 minutes without giving me proper explanation. When asked several times, he communicated me in tamil stating that somebody else will come in 2 days to look as this being a GAS LEAK problem. Even the AC has to be taken for repair for some days. I request you to answer my question below and act immediately:



· I have suffering a lot for the last 4 days without AC’s cooling effect, may I know who is responsible for that?

· If there is gas leak problem in AC, why the AC cannot be replaced immediately?

· When the proper communication is not provided by technician?

· Is this the proper service provided by Samsung?



I would like to escalate this issue at utmost high priority level. Resolution is expected immediately.

Samsung — unproportionate charges

I have recharged by cell phone on[protected] and after that i had called hardly 10 minuates local call and 1.30minutes std call to Delhi. today i, e[protected] my balance in the cell is nil where as i had recharged it with rs 100 on[protected].

Kindly look into the matter and intimate my whether any one are tapping my phone and using it.

I’m writing to you with lots of hope as I have been very disappointed with the attitude of servicing centre & in effectiveness’ of customer care Samsung India.

Just 4-5 months back I bought a DVD player. It developed some problem as it stopped reading DVD's. I called up service centre on 28/12/2008. I was informed that someone would be visiting me on 29/12/2008 & rectify the problem. The complain no. given to me was BP No. [protected].

None of them visited me till 1/1/09 neither did I receive any call from any service engineer. I followed up many times but nothing came to my help. Even the service engineer who attended on January 01 was not of much help as he said he would need to replace this DVD as it cannot be repaired. So he would visit us some other day to replace it or send some request to replace the set.

I have called numerous times to enquire about the status & I was regularly assured that It would be replaced soon. Infact, once I got a call from servicing centre that they are offering me some lower model as replacement which I refused.

Now it is over 40 days & I get this call stating that my request for replacement has been rejected & they would be repairing it soon. Which according to me is unfair & unethical. Also, it is against the reputation of Samsung to anything of this kind that too after 40 days of waiting.

My request to you is that kindly look into the matter & help me as I have been very disappointed so far.

I requested them to replace the item immediately. For last 3 months Samsung support has done anything needful against the complain.
My experience says probably Samsung's support is the worst in this universe!!! Please believe me. I am not exaggerating. Their support number is not helpful. There is no escalation method by which you can reach a responsible person in Samsung.
Support group of this company is highly irresponsible. Even a local made company has a better policies and support ethics in place. Customer feedback in black and white just goes to their trash bin. Be aware of Samsung!!!
