I purchased Samsung Micro oven - CE1072L (S/N: 16307DAQ700056L) 3 months back. I discovered a big dent on the top cover of it which might have occurred during delivery to my premises. I requested them to replace the item immediately. For last 3 months Samsung support has done anything needful against the complain.
My experience says probably Samsung's support is the worst in this universe!!! Please believe me. I am not exaggerating. Their support number is not helpful. There is no escalation method by which you can reach a responsible person in Samsung.
Support group of this company is highly irresponsible. Even a local made company has a better policies and support ethics in place. Customer feedback in black and white just goes to their trash bin. Be aware of Samsung!!!

Samsung — request for PUK code

i too bought a samsung TV for christmas (2008) in chennai. soon after, i found that my the tv switches off and on by itself. this complaint was forwarded to them since jan 3 2009. but the guy's don't even give a damn for their customers. no one has attended till date. and when i called up today, they told me that someone will attend to it on monday, (today being saturdy). But the irony is, that whenever i call them its the same reply. ANYONE LOOKING FOR ELECTRONIC PRODUCTS, I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THEM TO GO ELSEWHERE RATHER THAN TO SAMSUNG.

P.S. - i faced problems on service issues with my samsung washing machine too. i should hve never bought anything from them.

Hi,
Samsung service has been a pathetic one. I wonder if they provide the same kind of service around the world. Been following up to get my Fridge and DVD player work for almost 1 month, but no response.
Samsung Service is the POOREST service ever I've seen in my life. I was a avid fan of Samsung after seeing their Fridge and purchased one too. But when I faced the problem they took 7-8 days to attend the call and that too after shouting to the customer care numbers. Again faced the same weired kind of response for the top loading Washing machine. We're completely depended upon both the appliances as both o[censored]s are working. If this kind of service and response and the treatment with the customer they provide. then no doubt one day Samsung will be wiped out of Indian market.
I, had bought a Samsung semi automatic washing MoDEL W8203 machine during November 2007, I found water leakage, and Drayer Problem I had complained to the Customer care, who visited and informed that a spare is defective, and assured to replace within two days from them, it is also 30 days no one has turned up despite making many number of calls except the telephonic assurance nothing is forthcoming. I likely to file a consumer complaint before the forum.

with regards
Krishna

Samsung — LCD T220 Has Manufacturing Fault

I purchased one higher range LCD Monitor T220 from nehru place on the very first day of its launch on 20th October 2008 and just after a month, this LCD started creating problem as it goes off automatically.

I gave several complaints to samsung customer care and every time their new engineer visited my place and his reactions were as he had seen this model for the very first time in their life and non of them did anything to it except saying "We will check if we have the parts available for this model as its the latest model".

After 3 months of problem being identified, one engineer came to my place and he said the part is available for the replacement and he replaced the part in my absence. Now since that day my LCD is not working at all. My system has stopped identifying this model any more and unable to install drivers for this LCD and not getting the recommended resolution 1680x1050 since the day that engineer replaced the part.

I've given several calls to customer care but of no use. There engineers sitting at the call center thinks that customer is the biggest fool who spends their money on such a expensive items and are given with no support but just excuses each time like:

1. you'll have to re-format your system to install this LCD.

2. download latest drivers from samsung.com/in site and not from samsung.com (which is again of no use)

3. you'll have to install graphic card for the working of this LCD (which i already have core 2 duo machine with inbuilt 256MB graphic card)

Also, the engineer who opened the LCD, gave scratches to my LCD and vanished that look for which i spend over 6000 extra as compared to other brand's 22" lcd in the market and when i asked the engineer about the scratches, he said "it happens when we open the LCD and its common"

Now if they are company trained engineers then are not they fully trained by Samsung about how to open LCD panel without damaging the body?

Or if samsung has given the training to them to give scratches to the LCD then why did they make such a stupid design of LCD which is that much difficult in Opening in case of a problem and leaves scratches etc.????

Who the hell trained these stupid engineers that they are just fully equipped with just excuses and nothing else????

I have bought one Samsung DVD Player 5.1 channel P 480R from Vivek & Company, Purasaiwalkam, Chennai vide Bill no.[protected]/dt.2.8.2008 and it is still in warranty period.

From the day one, I am facing the problem in the above DVD. Due to which, I made a complaint with the customs care vide reference no.[protected] on various dates. Based on which, their service man - Mr Kumar from their customs service at Minjur came and attended only twice but the problem is not sortedout permanently. As of date, they have not changed any parts and got signautre from me without anything filled in. I have suspect on this. Still the DVD is not working and made somany call to the customer service through phone no.[protected]. No one has turned up as of date. The reason for buying the branded products from the Multinational companies like Samsung assuming that they would give better service. The way and which their attitude of Samsung customer service, I think samsung has only interested in moving their products than better post sale service.

If I am frustrated by the Customer Care during the warranty period itself, how they will give better service after warranty period. Also I understand that the officials are monitoring the call for quality improvement. If they are really monitoring for quality improvement, why the superior officiers are not able to sort out my problem.

thanks,

Samsung — 29-inch TV; simple complaint not being serviced for 12 days

I bought a Samsung 29-inch TV around 2 years ago. Two weeks ago, it developed a problem where the video display stopped working. The audio signal was coming through, but no video output was displayed.

After thoroughly checking all connections, i then tried to get in touch with Samsung India through their call center number (1-800) - this number did not yield a response despite several attempts. Then i tried one more number (3030xxxx) - which is a non-toll free number, and again no one picked up the call despite several attempts. Finally at one instance they picked up and registered my complaint and provided me a BP number.

2 days after the BP number was given a local service centre TV mechanic came, and after inspecting the unit said that a simple device called the LOT (line output transformer) had to be replaced. He mentioned that within the next day he would come to replace it.

Till now around 10 days has passed since his initial visit, and no one has come to replace the LOT. I have made several calls (around 20 calls) to the service centre, and they always keep repeating the same line - that "a technician is on the way to repair it". I have grown so frustrated with the quality of service that i am seriously considering getting rid of the TV because i no longer want to be associated with such a poor brand like Samsung. I do not understand why they cannot provide a proper commitment and keep their promises, and in the first place, they should at least keep a call centre line available for consumers to log in their complaints. On top of this, their web-based trouble ticketing system does not work - am not even able to log-in to their system despite registering multiple times with different e-mail IDs.

Samsung India Support is most definitely one of the worst service providers in India today.
I too have similar issues with my Plasma TV, where in I paid Rs.100, 000/-. The TV is is your workshop for the pas FOUR MONTHS and still they are unable to repair the same. I am paying the EMI month on month, or else I would be a defaulter to the bank ant they would take action on me.

My Legal and council are now attending the case.

I strongly advice all viewers NOT TO SUFFER like I am doing today. They produce goods and of third grade quality and sell the same in India.
