[Resolved] Tikona — HARASSMENT calls by Tikona Lawyers | |
Service ID: [protected] Billing ID:[protected] Hello, Last few days I am receiving calls from claiming to be lawyers on behalf of Tikona from various numbers like [protected], [protected], [protected] etc asking for payment. This is Harassment to customers & they need to STOP IT IMMEDIATELY. I am seeing lot of such harassment to other customers also. It is severe BREACH of customer information & they need to answer/fix that as well. For the record, I had requested to stop service long time back as shown in mail below. But what Tikona did is, took months to stop the service & kept sending bills. You start service very next day so that billing starts next day but stopping service take months...This is TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL & UNETHICAL. Was this information helpful? | |

I am being harassed by Tikona. I took Tikona connection for a few months last year and then due to pathetic services and too much of outages I decided to change the service provider. I stopped using the services of Tikona in Feb 2014. Tikona asked me to return the modem which is a shared device on my terrace. despite several emails and calls to the customer care and the local tikona representative, no one came to collect the device and while Tikona keeps sending me demand notices and apparent Legal notices and SMS. I keep trying to contact Tikona through the customer care phone number and emails and while there has not been a single response to the emails, the customer care keeps telling me someone will call me back and I never get a callback.
I also received a call from [protected] from a lady who said she is calling from the office of Mr. Pankaj Kapoor in Tees Hazari court. She asked me to make the payments urgently otherwise she would proceed to file a civil case against me. This is really a torture and harassment. Tikona in a way is threatening its users of Legal notices to extract money. This is really bad and concerning.
Looking at this thread I am planning to lodge a police complaint againt Tikona. Has someone done that yet?
