I was asked to pay my bill in March after few complaints of bad service and on payment I was confirmed that my connection will be disconnected. but that has not happened. i was getting intermittent services for about 30 mins or 1 hr in a day or two...and I complained for that but no one bothered to resolve the complaint and finally I have got a call threatening legal proceedings.

I was initially asked not to pay any further amount then after a couple of days I have been asked to pay 2100 then 1850... This is the amount which as per the system of Tikona digital for the period when I made complaints for irregular and disruptive services.

On asking how can I get my initial security deposit against which device was provided to me (Rs 1500) I have been told that no money will be refunded as it is non-refundable. I was confirmed when connection was taken that it is refundable. They do not have any call records for my requests also and are forcing to pay the illegitimate outstanding bill.

It is not only frustating but is also causing a lot of anxiety. On requesting any Manager to meet in my city (Kolkata) it has been denied.

Horrible service and then Threatening like Goondas .

Don't know is it wat the culture of Tikona is.

    I have taken tikona network on
    7th feb but later after a month I
    told them to disconnect the
    service but they didn't do it and I
    stopped using tikona on
    november 5th I got a call from a
    solicitor namely rajendra choudry
    senior advocate from mumbai
    highcourt he told me that I have
    to pay my outstanding amount of
    2935rs within 1hour otherwise
    he will file a case in court against
    me and as he said I said the
    entire amount which is due but
    in fact I didn't used that and he
    said that I wil get my refund
    amount in 2days but I didnt get
    any amount still now and I called
    so many times customer care of
    tikona I lodged my complaint on
    6th november regarding refund
    mr.Bhushan has taken my case of
    refund who is a floor supervisor
    of tikona he said me on 26th
    november my refund cheque of
    2935rs has been despatched by
    courier u wil get it in 3-4days bt I
    request you to wait for 10days I
    agreed with him but on 6th
    december as 10days after I called
    mr.Bhushan he again told me to
    wait till 10th december and on
    that day also I didn't get any
    cheque I called on 10th
    december but that time
    mr.Bhushan was not there and
    his collegue mr.Razzaq spoke to
    me had behaved very rationally
    and do whatever you want and
    said wait again till18th december
    and I request you solve my
    problem as soon as possible
    being a student facing so many
    problems from tikona .And like
    me there are so many other
    customers of tikona are cheated
    by this company..plz help us

    My name if mayur patel , I purchase tikona internet services for 1 year, compnay services is very bad so i diconnect compnay service on 16.12.2010 & Compnay diconncet my service on 23.12.2010 & genrate refund claim complain no.:[protected] date. 25.12.2010 and told me u r refund received with in one months after one month i call compnay customer care they all time told me wait for 5 to 10 day i complain again today & complain no.:[protected] Dt.09.01.2011. give me urgent my refund cheque

    I have applied for the broadband connection in Tikona with amount paid Rs.1653 after testing the connectivity(somehow got the connectivity) finally after 7 days they had come down and checked for the fixing the connection where they have found that there is no connectivity available on my house or near by and they said that we are going to cancel this connection as it’s not in a feasible area from the access point.even from myside i requested them to cancel the connection on july itself.but still now they have not paid my refund my money and called them several times(20) and mailed them also(15) still no proper update.they are saying that it sent by courier and asked them to provide the shippment number but they dont have even cant provide then after two days i called them and asking for update then saying that cheque is returned for unidentified reason(god only knows) ..but mailing address also clearly communicated with them even mailed also.but no use it almost 3 monthe over

    I don’t understand one thing that there is no broadband connection made at my home by tikona but amount PAID Rs.1653 through cheque while filled the application form on July 1st week.So I tried to keep on asking what happened to the refund money but every time you are saying that we have forwarded to the concern department for necessary action but no action it’s placed still now.



    One more thing that you were asking me about mailing address for refunding money, why can’t you check the mailing address in the application form where I have filled my personal details and mailing address, even I have provided the bank cheque when applying for broadband connection then why cant you refund the money direct to my account instead of wasting my time and increasing amount of time you spend to refund the money. simply I can say that it’s Horrible.

    I have applied for the new broadband connection in ramamurthynagar,Bangalore and they came for demo when they did not show me any bandwidth test or proper connectivity available on this area except tikona website on demo in my laptop and after one week time(exactly 6days) they had come down and checked for the fixing the connection where they have found that there is no connectivity available on my house or near by and they said that we are going to cancel this connection as it’s not in a feasible area from the access point.



    I agree that we cannot do anything in this case but all I just want to say that before advertising on some location for broadband service, first check the connectivity from the Access point then go for it I mean Advertisement.



    It’s really waste of our time that calling you people, spending 2 days(demo&connection) and waiting for one week then finally nothing is done. It is not required and needed at all.



    Even my home is not in a village of karanataka, it is near to Ramamurthynagar which is in Bangalore city and 500meter away from Ramamurthynagar.



    Please let me know if you have any plan to extend or new access point in Ramamurthynagar(Exact location : 1st A cross,Akshyanagar),Actually I am interested in Tikona Broadband service



    I heard that You have 40,000 customers in Bangalore, then why are you stopping there itself, Go for More with good service and support.

      I paid the all bills of the brodband company tikona.
      i got very bad speed and service from their side due to this reason i disconnect the connection. i sent so many mails for disconnecting connection and disconnection confirmation mails but i did not get any response from their side.
      i talked with them on their customer care they told me u dont have any pending bill.
      but today suddenly i get call from their legal department for paying 1700 rs bill and he told me that company already registerd case against me and that advocate ajit was very rude on call and disconnect my call.

      i sent so many mails regarding this but i did not get any bill and revert from company.

      today i again make the call to customercare again he told me to pay just 506rs bill with refrence number :- 1-[protected]

        This is regarding the Service ID: [protected], which was taken against my name "Debasish Das" for the Wireless internet connection .Due to some serious concerns in the service ,I have disconnected the same by paying all the dues, sometime during last year on Aug-Sept,2011.



        But today ,I got a threatening call from some people involved in “tees hazari court,Delhi” that I need to pay Rs 2935 against Tikona as otherwise they are going to file an case against my name in the court. And being a common man,I had paid the same to make the issue get resolved before moving to court.Please find the payment details as below ,made today morning.



        Now the fact is, I had cleared all the dues before disconnecting the connection because of extremely poor service during last year. Once I contacted the customer care,regarding the same concern, they were saying the fact that ,yes your no. was inactive as you are not using the connection but you have not raised the disconnection request.But is it practically possible,that some one form your team comes and disconnects the connection with my phone request to tikona customer care and provides me NOC for the same.

        Also,if this is not the case then why you people have not contacted me over the past 1 year either over phone or mail. Why you have sent me any ebill,as you used to send in the past.?There are some serious concerns. I truly feel that I have victimized and will surely move to consumer court.

        I was made to pay because of no reason and because of the reason that your database is not updated. Please don’t try to test the limit of a normal person. It will make you pay in very huge way.



        Please refund my amount as soon as possible or please be prepared for actual legal action from my side.

            My Tikona User ID is [protected]. I had book Tikona
            connection on 4-2-2012. At the time of demonstration of tikona range
            your engineer said that this is feasible area for taking connection.
            But after taking connection i was not able to use your facility
            because no continue range was available.
            I called customer care executive many times for this problem many
            times engineer came and at last head engineer came and told me this is
            not feasible area and you are not able
            to use this service. So i called customer care executive for
            disconnection,But monthly is generated from your side.The
            disconnection was not done from tikona.
            Still i am getting bill generation email and sms,last month one bill
            receiving person came to my home.
            Instead of refunding intial deposit of 1200,Bill is getting generated
            every month.No one comes to receive device and setup accessories.
            I think there is some communication gap between all department of
            tikona( Costomer care,Network department and Billing department) .

            Tikona — Refund of my deposit money

            Hi,

            I had requested just for a demo of ticona at my home to see how it is the salesmen that came put the wires to chow the speed. The demo was not satisfactory and i had not made up my mind to take the service i said i didnt want to make the payment but the salesman said unless there is a payment they cannot go ahead with anything so i gave them a cheque for the instalationas they said as soon as the money is paid the service will start i was promised in just few hours it will start.But it was weeks and they had debited money from my account and not started it hence i decided to cancel this and askd for a refund for my deposit money i had not even used the servise for single day.That was on 11th Dec 2010 and i was promised in 30 days i.e by latest 11 Jan i will recive my money but nothing happened then when i called them on 15th Jan to chk what is happening someone infromed me that the request was not put forward and the accounty was acitve so it will take another 30 days which is 11th Feb still nothing happened i called on 12th Feb 2011 to know whats happening and if anybody is going anything at all i was told that the req was given on 25th jan and not 15th Jan and when i said i had called on 15th jan not 25th Jan the agent refused to accpet this then i askd for the Supervisor Mr.Kapil Dev who didnt have any relevant answers for my questions and said that he will have the billing team call me by EOD 13th Feb ,even this didnt happen today is 14th Feb now i seriously dont know what to do but im not letting ticona have my money.If nothing will happen i will take legal steps or go to higher authority for this as they are just fooling people and lying every time i call

            Exactly same issue has happened with me . I am goin in for a legal case with them will be trying to expose them in Media . I request even you to do the same.
            You need to approach the consumer court with a Case details, any bills or reciept xerox of the connection . And file it . Its free of cost .
            Regarding Media just mail the same details to Times Of India newspaper and NDTV .

              Dear sir,

              i will buy unlimited 4mbps internet plan and sales man say to me no gb limited & no speed downgrade but after i take plan & after 280gb download my internet speed down. When i call in coustomer care he say to me a second policy on after 280gb low your internet plan when i ask him he say to me read term & condition we will write in term & condition, but term & condition is for only term & condition then why he add plan in term & condition and when i see plan he say no downgrade speed and no gb restriction then why now gb restriction that not fair

                Tikona wireless broadband is obviously a criminal enterprise as it has a tendency to compulsively cheat its customers out of their money.
                I had purchased a Tikona wireless broadband connection and was satisfied for the first two months. However as their router is of an inferior quality the internet connection suffered. Despite consulting technical support nothing was done for a whole month. Finally one day the executive (Santosh) informed us that there was no way Tikona would fix this probably unless I buy a new 3 month connection, for which I would have to pay no installation charges and get 4mbps. I made a payment of Rs. 5200 to the executive; he at this point had also "confirmed" that the old account was now in the process of deactivation (which takes 45 days!!!!!!). When I finally received my new connection i was only receiving 2 mbps speed and only Rs. 4000 had been credited to my account. I informed Tikona on multiple counts about the issue but they didn't do jack!! After a month o[censored]sing my BRAND NEW CONNECTION WITH THE NEW AND IMPROVED ROUTER, I was suffering from the same issue and my internet stopped working due to low quality routers. This time Tikona was even less helpful. They sent three engineers who didn't fix my connection, they never gave me 4mbps and they didn't even credit the remaining Rs.1200 in my account. I got fed up with dealing with these clowns and got myself a real internet connection and have been emailing them since the last week of July to cancel and refund my money. And once again they haven't done jack about it. I thought that this was the last straw but Tikona had another trick up their sleeve. They have been generating bills for my old account one that I have requested a cancellation for from the first week of July, and have been giving me ridiculous calls from their "recovery department" to pressure me into paying for services that I could not possibly use as the internet was not functioning properly, and believe me when I say that these people don't know how to talk on the phone, and are very persistent (unlike when they are solving complaints).
                I have been writing regular emails to CUSTOMERCARE, NATIONALTELLECOLL, AND S.NAIR and making phone calls, but it’s pointless. They never connect me to the supervisor; the phone will hold for really long then get disconnected. The one time that I did connect to the supervisor the coverage at his end was so bad he couldn't hear me and the phone got disconnected. It is far too obvious that Tikona are a bunch of criminals that scam whoever buys from them.
                The amount to be refunded to me is Rs. 4000 however Tikona keeps interchanging this amount with half the sum or a bill that I have to pay!!!!!
                FINALLY Tikona has shown its true colors and told me I am not eligible for a refund as I used the service for a month, and even though I paid for 3 months and didn’t receive the right speed or quality of services I will be charged the full amount despite cancelling prematurely and not using the services.
                IF ANYONE IS CONSIDERING TIKONA I WOULD STRONGLY ADVICE THEM NOT TO DO SO AS IT WILL ONLY RESULT IT YOU GETTING MUGGED OF YOUR MONEY. YOU’RE BETTER OF GIVING IT TO CHARITY OR EVEN BURNING YOUR MONEY TO KEEP WARM IN THE SUMMER. EITHER IS AN EXPLICITLY BETTER IDEA THAN GOING FOR THIS SORT OF DEAL.
                IN MY BOOKS TIKONA HAS SET AN ALL TIME LOW IN TERMS OF QUALITY AND HONESTY BY A MARGIN OF LIGHTYEARS.
                I AM TAKING THE MATTER TO THE CONSUMER COURT IF ANYONE WHO IS IN THE SAME RUT AS ME CAN CONTACT ME AND CREATE ONE SIMPLE CLASS ACTION.

                Today tikona sent their executive to pick up the payment of my old account. It is surprising how when they need to take money, they are able to instantly send someone to pick it up. But when they need to return the money, they never seem to be able to get anything done.
                I gave tikona a request for a refund 4 months ago tikona hasn't done anything. I gave a request 3 days ago for pick up of payment, and they have already received the money. I received a call from tikona today saying the same dubious nonsense that they will get back to me and that they are sorry for the inconvenience. I'M afraid they don't deserve to be forgiven.

                  I was using Tikona Intenret Services and from last 4 months not using the Internet Services, still they are sending the bills to me,they have removed all the devices from my home, inspet of mailing them not to send any bills, still they are sending the bills and mails to me. If i call and ask there customer care team they say that no need to pay the bills, Its very harrasing that every morning i come and see the bills sent by Tikona to me,

                  I want you to get resolved me in this case.

                    I was using Tikona boradband connection (User ID - [protected]) - was experiencing extremely low speed and almost zero connectivity for 3 months (July, Aug, Sep 2011). Despite calling them again & again Tikona didn't disconnect my subscription and kept sending me bill. I even wrote to their nodal officer - who said that I'll recieve a call - but nobody called me. Their device is stiill on my terrace after one year. The whole Jul & Aug 2011 - my connection didn't work (there was extremely low speed & constant disconnection) - yet I paid Rs. 907 on Sep 2 2011. And kept calling and writing them to disconnect my account - but to no avail. Nobody called or contacted me to disconnect my account - instead they kept sending me bill for a connection which doesn't work. They forwarded my case to their collection services which kept harassing me. After one year, their lawyer from Mumbai calls me to tell me that they've recieved a complaint against me for which their's a fine of Rs 30,000. He told me that I should pay Rs 1416.07 in the next 1 hour on tikona website or they'll register a case against me. If Tikona doesn't disconnect my account and keeps sending me bill for a connection that doesn't work - what can I do? I want my Rs 907 back as well - because their connection didn't work for a whole month of August 2011 - and yet they sent me a bill. There are several cases exactly like me with Tikona - and you can read them online. I have emails with their nodal officer to support everything and I would like to punish this cheat company for harassing their customers. Please help me.

                      With reference to the subject, I had recharged my userid [protected] for Rs. 3358/- on 5 June 2012(payment slip attached). The Plan started on 8 June for 2012. On 8 June 2012, we had a technician visit our place and suggested us to deactivate the account due to problems in connectivity. As suggested, I requested the deactivation of the account the very same day.


                      Even after regular follow up i.e. every day, our account was deactivated on 25 June 2012. The Internet Service equipment was collected on 6 July 2012. Since then i have been continuously following up for refund, the only feed back i receive each time is that 'Our billing Department will contact you in 24 hours'. Its four months since my request for deactivation, i have not received my refunded nor have i received any positive repose from tikona.

                        I Khwaja Hashmi hereby has a complaint against a company "Tikona Broadband Services" for impounding me "Termination Penalty Charges" of Rs 3000, also adding to this is modem refund and advance payment which was told will be adjusted in last bill.

                        I have marked a mail to Tikona Broadband Service to stop my Internet from 2nd June onwards but all was in vain, screenshot attached.

                        The first amount I had deposited was 1 month advance and then 1500 for new modem installation. The modem issued was of Mr. Rakesh and was old but amount was taken for new modem. This modem was out of service in next few days between 12 Feb to 12 Mar after continuous mailing. The next modem was also an old one.

                        Currently I have to pay Rs. 2929.93 /- on 22nd Nov'12 as it was impounded on me by Tikona even after no pending dues as confirmed by the Billing Team manier times on phone earlier before. I have submitted the modem to the concerned dept. who picked the stuff from me on 16 Sept 2012 at 6:30 pm and the next day I send a confirmation mail to the Tikona Team on 17 Sept '12 at 10:55 pm, asking them to close this connection.

                        My case was sued by "Tees Hazari Court" by Mr. Sidhartha and his no. was [protected], who told me to pay the due amount asap in order to close the case. I did the same in an hour on 22nd Nov '12 at 12:20 pm with the Tikona Transaction ID[protected] and SR 1-[protected]. I then took Mr. Sidhartha and Tikona Billing Team for verification of my dues. The Billing Team confirmed to Mr. Sidhartha that all my dues are clear and I dont have to pay any amount as account was cleared a long time back. By the conference Mr. Sidhartha was convinced that nothing is wrong at my part and so he closed the case in the court and also assured me that no further case can be impounded on me by the Tikona Broadband Services company by any means.

                        This mess is created by the company because they didnt send me my full and final statement and didnt closed my account even after sending so many mails and calling the Customer Care. I have all the mails which i had kept sending them.




                        I request you to please investigate the matter and get my refunds as follows:
                        Modem = Rs 1500
                        Termination Amount = Rs 2929.93
                        and clear my full and final form Tikona Broadband Services with account closure surety.

                        Broadband bill payment — no confirmation of online payment

                        I was trying to pay my broad band bill of Rs 952/- on line yesterday ie 9-11-09 but could not get the confirmation . Then I paid the amount through cheque today ie 10-11-09 in the morning (Drop box). Now airtel confirmed my on line payment tonight ie 9-11-09. It means I have made two payment of same bill.

                        Tikona Team i had inform your fraud to everyone in touch with me. Its really pathetic to get your connection, neither the service was satisfactory nor the after service which was worst.

                        Note: Beware of Tikona Broadband company fraud, cheat and pathetic network. Dont dont dont every buy a connection from them.

                        If you want to have a connection then go for YOU BROADBAND. They are trustworthy...
                        Use YOU BROADBAND better than Tikona Broadband, I have used YOU for 3 months and they have refunded the deposited amount of 750 Rs by check thats what is costumer respect. Tikona Broadband learn something.
                        Still waiting for Tikona Team to return my money. No modem cost 4500 Rs. Really cheating...

                            I would like to file a complaint against Tikona. I applied for a connection under my wife's name a couple of months back. The guys came and installed the connection but they never came back and configured it on my laptop. I could not use the internet from Day 1. After a few days i asked them to disconnect the connection and they did so. Then I started receiving bills and I called up the customer care and the installation guys informing that ideally I should be getting a refund of my Rs 500 which I paid for installation but instead i am being asked to pay bills. I was assured that it will be taken care of but now almost after 9 months I am getting harassment calls from some number ([protected]) that a case has been filed against us. My wife is getting calls to pay Rs 429 else it will not be nice for her.

                            I will not tolerate such harassment calls and would urge authorities to take proper action against Tikona and its officials. Also would request you to take action against the people to whom this # belongs to - [protected] as they have been giving threatening calls to me and my wife and have been talking in a foul language.

                            I would like to receive a written apology from the company and the people who are calling me else.

                              Two months ago me and my friend planned to get a new Tikona Broadband connection. Manjunath, a Tikona representative visited our hostel and he took 2000rs money for installation charges and gave us the receipt. After 2 days he informed us that connection is cannot be given in our area and the money will be refunded. He even asked us to send our address so that he can send the refund cheque. Till now we did not receive the refund. He is not even responding to our calls and messages. Please help us to get our money back

                                I have taken broadband connection from tikona on 31st Jan 12 and connection activated from 1st feb 12 , On 2nd Feb I have complained tikona regarding my official IP is not accessible from their network although same can be access from other service provider and after 'N' Reminder and 1 month too , I did not get solution for this because of which I have major monetary loss due to loosing some deal.

                                I dropped mail to Tikona on 1st March to Disconnect my connection due to bad services then again sent reminder mail for disconnection on 25 March but no action has been taken and even though they have generated bill during those period and sent billed amount of 1800. and till now they are generating bill and amount reached to 3507 .

                                I did payment to clear my case . But now I want refund of those payment and compensation of Rs 30000 as I loose deal due to unable to access official IP where I used to work remotely .

                                Looking for positive response .

                                  Hi ,

                                  I got the tikona wireless broadband connection before 15 days. The tikona broadband service is really sucking everyday.
                                  Actually our plan speed is 4MBs but we are getting only 1 MBs and also its getting disconnected often.
                                  I can't do my proper email checking and other works. so guys dont buy tikona broadband connection because the customer service also really really **********. I made a complaint about the slow connection but they said everything is fine here so we cant help you anymore finally the complaint is closed without solving. so friends please dont buy or try this connection.

                                    my name is shuvankar ghosh. I took tikona internet connection on 24th of may 2012. My user ID:[protected].I paid rs 3000 for 6 months(rs 500 per month but I took a half yearly scheme).They said it has good service in our area. But from day one I was suffering from poor network and poor speed. I complained to customer service. They could nor resolve it. So I disconnected it on 24th of june. After 11 days I got a call and they asked me to send an email. I DID it. After 15 days an executive came and took all the accessories like modem, wires, cables etc and gave a receipt. They said within 45 working days I will get my balance money back.I DID not get any call from them in 45 days. Neither I have seen any interest from their side to attend my problem.So I called and mailed them again.Now it is 5 months now. I have sent them at least 40 mails( I have all records in my mail ID) and called them 100 times. In the call center the executives answer the same line '' we have informed our respective department. You will get a call within 48 hrs.'' and in reply of the mail I always get the same answer in a same format . It tells that I will get a call with in 96 hrs.( I have all the mails in my mail ID). Now I want my money back as soon as possible.
                                    Kindly do the needful.

                                      From last 2 or 3 weeks they are continuosly asking for illegal payment of rs 3371.86 .. I am not using their service from last 2 months ... infact i am having a problem with them .... they have provided a very poor service..... They have taken the money from us & provide the connection for just 10 -15 days. there executives speaks in the very abuse manner . Hope this compaint would have some effect

                                        with high disappointment i am writing this letter to you. i have applied for the tikona internet on 08/11/2012.the engineer visited to my place & installed the modem & its been three days that i am not able to access the internet. i have did the consistent follow up with their engineers & customer care associates & every time they give me a mock reason .they have asked me to pay Rs 2000 which includes one month advance rental. i have paid the same but still they have not activated my service. since three days i have made around 50 calls to their engineers & customer care executives but they are not solving my problem & now they are not even picking up the phone.

                                        with high expectations i am writing this letter to you & believe that i will get the solution.

                                        i am hemant sharma from gurgaon and my user id is [protected]. at the time of istallation i gave the check of 1433 for 1st time advance bill and istallation charges. but after 7 days i get the bill of 693.64.its bill period is 10/11/2010 to 15/11/2010 and on 26 dec i get the bill of 141.94.its bill period is 15/11/2010 t 15/12/2010. these two bill period is of 1 month. now tikona give me the anwer that y shuld i pay the bill of 141.94 which was due on 2 jan 2011. and in the customer care no people under satnd the biil properly.
                                        no dout i have no problem with the net connection, wven with there speed. but i have only the problem with the bill only.. please solve my issue. as soon as possible.
