I had Tikona postpaid Internet connection in Delhi, Pandav nagar but the Internet was not working properly. When I talked to the customer care they are not able to short out the problem. They short out the problem when they required bill payment. After two such months I decided to disconnect the net and convey the message to customer care. They disconnected the net immediately and want me to pay the whole month of bill. I have already paid 2 months of full bill that I haven't used. My work was hampered in those two months. Now they are demanding rs.500 of last month payment when I deny to pay this they Added bill to Rs.1700 and now harassing me on phone. How can I file a consumer harassment complain. And how can I avoid the last payment I am not satisfied with the services of Tikona.

    Hello Readers,
    SUB:(Very Bad Broadband Internet Service and frequent disconnects by Tikona even after continious calls to customer care almost every month)

    I had subscribed to Tikona internet service for a year now.This was the worst internet service that i had ever since i started working at Bangalore.
    I am residing at Munnekollalal, Near Lakshmi Narayana Temple.The time since i subscribed for Tikona i was guranteed a 2Mbps speed but that never happened.The service people who came to set up my Tikona were never able to meet Tikona promised 2Mbps.

    I had been paying Rs.999 almost every month for a 2 Mbps unlimited internet access and i had never been able to harness the same from Tikona.Seriously Speaking I get just 115kbps and frequent disconnect.I have to disconnect the Tikona device every 10 to 20 minutes to access internet for some time.The Tikona works at 115kbps for a short while and then goes down.It works once in a blue moon.This was a very big headache ever since i subscribed for Tikona.

    I work in an IT firm and i really need internet away from office.Tikona had never been able to meet my demands for at least one day.It is almost an year now.Every once in a while i contact Tikona care and put up my concern and they promise me that it should be fixed by next day.I hope for the best but nothing seems to help.

    This is not fair since Tikona is playing a bad game here.They promised me for something that they could never give and even after my repeated calls and complaints to Tikona they never had the time to look seriously into my concern and sort it out for at least a 1Mbps.

    These are the recent Tickets raised by me at Tikona but they seem to take no actions to my complaints.I expect a refund or a fix.That is the reason why i posted my complaint at this consumer forum.

    Tikona Internet service — Connection is not good frequent disconnection

    I have internet connection with Tikona it is very bad. It is very worst with respect to speed and frequent disturbances.

    Is any body to help me.

    My Helpless Tikona account no:[protected].
    Ever since i have subscribed with tikona I have never seen a speed that they promised. What i got was frequent disconnects and monthly bill. The Tikona service doesnot let us use internet continuously for at least 5 min without logging in every now and then and I have to restart my device again for it to work. I was wondering if I could hire someone from tikona to keep posted at my house 24/7 so that he/she can keep calling their care line to fix their issue every now and then. I am ashamed that I am paying for headache. It would have been peaceful without Tikona at my house.
    In addition I would also like to let you know that. I will soon shift to some other Internet service provider like “ACT” as soon as they are available at my location. Tired of talking to your customer care that is why I am writing this mail. Even while drafting this Email I had to restart your device twice for it to work.

    If anyone would ask me a feedback about Tikona. My answer would be “IT IS THE WORLDS WORST INTERNET SERVICE PROVIDER AND EQUILLANT TO STONEAGE DIALUP CONNECTION”.

    I am at least happy that the customer service executives are dealing extremely good with the customers. That is the only reason why Tikona still has customers.

    Tikona you are not doing any justice to your customers like me and your executives. You are misusing our sympathy and their hard work and doing nothing to improve your service.

    This is high time you do something. Or else consider us saying bye to you.

    Form my point of view. What you need is a better bandwidth and more access point.
    This would be the last time I am expecting something to be done.

      I had tikona's wifi installed in my house on the 9th of October,2012. Since the installation i have had continuous problems with my internet. Which were resolved after repeated calls to the customer care.
      Then i had a similar problem on the 19th of October.2012. I complained then and ever since i have been complaining everyday! i have called the customer care officials atleast 5 times in a day! I have already talked to 6 Senior officials but all in vain as the haven't resolved my problem till date! I have been given countless baseless deadlines! Today (8/11/12) i asked to talk to the senior officials and they said i will receive a call back within 15 mins but i never got any call!!! :O
      I have been patiently complaining for the last 20 days! Frustratingly they haven't helped and instead they are sending me a bill for my internet which i haven't used! :O

      Tikona — No wifi given even after repeated complaints

      Hi all
      Please do not ever take tikona services.

      DEAR ALL PLEASE DO NOT BUY TIKONA SERVICES.
      Mr pramod and mustafa from tikona harassed me in to buying the tikona services and promised that they will give wifi services but all I got was LAN cable.inspire of my repeated calls to customer service they have not given wifi.it is the worst company you will be losing all your money PLEASE DO NOT EVER GET TIKONA.
      ALSO THEY WILL SEND RANDOM BILLS ,RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE MONTH BEFORE YOU EVEN FINISH YOUR MONTH.

        4th Call 28/03/2012 and call customer care tikona and talk with mr Salim. Again remind what is the status of cancellation/disconnection they reply you don’t worry you received call from our end.

        But No any call till today date 05/11/2012 and also mail.

        As per above all conversation no any due from my site but still from april to till date calling from tikona for payment. And today dtd 05/11/2012 12.56 pm cell number +[protected] delhi and saying tikona is register complaint in delhi court for payment.

        I request you to solve the matter. Why they mentally harassed me?

          I had requested for disconnection on 17.10.2012 but till now it has not been disconnected. I have also received 3 confirmation calls from customer care but till now no progress has been made.To whom should I escalate the matter.

          .There is no amount withstanding from my side. Infact I have given advance till january which needs to be refunded . I have already submitted my device to a technical team member fro Tikona Mr. Nilesh G( ID: 50834).

          Tikona — Not Disconnected and No Refund

          Hi Sir/Ma’m,

          I have took the Tikona Connection on Sep 24, 2011. After Sep 30, 2011 I was not able to use the Internet for a simple reason, there is no signal at all. Many Service Engineers visited and try to troubleshoot this problem, finally it has been diagnosed that in my place there is no feasibility of Tikona. So I have raised a request for Disconnection on October 20,2011.

          The device has been taken from my home almost a month back, I just called the Tikona customer care to ask about my refund, they are mentioning that this Request is still open. I wanted to know why you people didn’t close this request? What is the reason behind? I have come across lot of trouble because of you people negligent work, which I haven’t seen any ISPs.

          The problem I came across because of you guys negligence are
          First is without my knowledge they have closed my Service Request. Second is without checking the feasibility they have provided the Connection and took 1000rupees from me. Third is I have raised a Disconnection request which ideally should have disconnected in 7 days as per SLA of Tikona, but they took more than 2 months, still it is not disconnected. Fourth is Tikona care officers behaved in a Harsh way when I wanted to ask about my refund and disconnection status. I have every proof of all these issues as well.

          So, without fail I wanted my disconnection request to be closed and I wanted the refund for the same. Please respond without fail.

          Hi, I am Sarita from Kochi and I took a Tikona connection around a month back. I am absolutely amazed at the speed at which I am able to access the internet, it’s simply awesome. With my previous ISP, I used to be frustrated all the time, as the network would just remain down half the time. I really have to thank my friend who recommended that I get a Tikona Broadband connection. I really have to say that these guys are doing a terrific job.
          Don't PAY Anything to...TIKONA BROADBAND SCHEME...

            Hi All,

            I am facing lot of issues regarding tikona broadband connection. I had tikona net connection. At the starting the connection worked properly , so i had paid all the bills on time. But after few months i faced net connectivity issues. So i called up the customer care department but my net connectivity issue was not taken care by the CC department of Tikona. Due to the connectivity issue i was not able to used it near about 15-20 days. So at the time of bill generation they told me that your bill amount would be 492 Rs , but your connection wasn't worked for 20 days now you can pay only 300 Rs. And they also gave me assurance that this problem would not happen again. As per conversation with them i paid 300 Rs. But after payment my net connection got worst and again i was not able to use it. After that again billing cycle came, and this time they had added the Weber amount of 192 Rs +100 Rs late fees in the bill. After lot of conversation they told me sorry for inconvenience now kindly pay the bill of rs 400 this time and they again gave me assurance that this is our promises now your all problem will be resolved when you will pay 400 Rs. As per discussion i trusted them and again paid the Bill of 400 Rs. But now the problem is worst their executive called me one of them named "Vikas" and told me all nonsense stuffs and he also took my credentials forcefully. Now my connection was out of service from past few months but their billing department added bill on monthly bases even i told them kindly resolve my problem so that i can continue the connection .
            Kindly do something, Tikona net connection is not at all worth and their executives don't have any addicted how to talk with customers.

            You are right. Tikona provides very very worst customer service. In the past 1 week I have called more than 15 times to customer care. Each time they said an engineer will be assigned to resolve this issue. But it is not at all useful.

              I also got a call from this number [protected]..the person told his name Rakesh sharma and said he is calling from chamber 409 of Tis Hazari Court. He said he is going to file a legal complaint against me as I have not paid Rs. 1619 of Tikona broadband which is totally baseless. About 2-3 months ago I have already requested for the disconnection of my account. He said please submit the requested amount before 2 pm otherwise he will file the case in the court.

              He gave me his mobile number [protected].

              I called tikona customer care and complained about this and they checked their records and confirmed that since in the beginning I have opted for advance rental plan and I have made the required payment in the beginning so there is no amount pending and there is no need to pay anything and she also asked me to avoid and ignore such calls.

              She also said that she ill forward a request to the concerned department in order to avoid such calls in future.

              I am sharing this as I feel this can help others as well, the same way i got relieved by reading above statement.

              Even i have received a call from [protected]. this time person said that he is Mr. Ranjeet Singh and a information officer, he pretended that he was calling from a court(Room no 202 Tees Hazari) and was telling that he is processing my file. when i said i have no idea what he is talking about then he gave me another no. [protected] (of k.p.bharadwaj) it seems this person is a advocate and he is the one who filed this case.He wanted me to talk to this person and let him know should he proceed the file further or to hold. I called 2nd number but the person was cancelling my call. when i called back on previous number someone else picked and told me that its a TATA CORPORATE office. Then i started surfing net and found that there are already lots of complains available against this number.

              Will update if I get any other information.
              Same case goes here. I have raised with CNBC Pehredar. If it didn't stop, I will file the complaint in Consumer court and police station for threatening.

                I too Internet Connection from Tikona Digital Networks in the starting of year 2012, mostly around Jan12 end. initially the connectivity was good later it started showing connectivity problems, like no internet connection, slow connection. on complaining everytime i was committed for a quick resolution. but no technical support or customer care ever turned up or cared to call back asking whether the problem is solved or not. this was there regular activity until June, they never care for the most smallest issue like repairing the RJ45 jack which got broken during the usage i even raised complain for that as well, this being a physical damage to wire component i was expecting a technician to come and fix the problem but later i was sent a plain mail stating issue resolved. no one ever visited my place to fix the problem, i donot understand how the issue got resolved. finally i got frustrated and cut there connection and too a new connection.

                In spite of telling them that i do not require such connection and service, they still generate 2 months bill and kept sending the usage bill.

                and now they are charging me for non payment towards internet usage for 2 months. they claim i have used internet for 2 month and i suppose to make payment against it.

                what kind of customer service, customer complain response, commitment towards providing good service is all about? which they claimed while providing me the new connection.

                  This is to tell you that I am a customer for TIKONA Broadband Services, and my Customer ID is [protected]. Recently I had upgraded my Plan from
                  ADSL1048 of Rs.899/- to Retail-4MBPS, which is of Rs. 1600/-.
                  This complaint is regarding the loss of data speed as well as Internet Connection, for which I had lodged a complaint with TIKONA Customer care on 12th of October 2012, for which they gave me a time frame of 24 hours that my internet connection issues would be resolved in 24 hours. After 24 hours when the person didnt come, i complained once gain for which a person came at 13:00 hours on 14th of October, 2012. He changed my device and after numerous attempts, he couldnt rectify my internet connection. He left my house around 17:30. That day in the evening my internet connection started working. approximately around 20:00 hrs.
                  On 15th of October when I reached home around 19:00 hrs, i found the internet connection is not working. After confirming the same with my brother who stayed home, he said that the internet connection wasn't working from the morning itself. Today it is 17th of October, 2012. Last three days there hadn't been any internet connection.
                  I had paid for my TIKONA connection on 3-oct-2012. Right after the payment the Connection was lost. on 3rd, 4th, 5th I couldnt access my internet.On 5th after 20:00 hours my internet connection started. It stopped at the morning of 6th, It agian started around 7th at around 20:00 hrs, worked for two days consecutively. on 9th there was no internet connection, the whole day.12th & 13th there was no internet connection.
                  Two Days The internet Connection works only at the night and consecutively two days nothing happens. The person who had come to rectify my connection had come twice in the fifteen days in this month only.
                  If I would count then around 8 days in the past 13 days, my internet connection is not active, after paying done on 3rd. The Field boy says that there
                  are some issues in the instruments, from where the broadcasting is done. The lady on the Customer Care says that they have no issues in the internet connection from there end, and there is some problem in my area only.
                  Till now my internet connection issue has not been resolved. I tried calling the Advanced technical of TIKONA at[protected], but still my issues are not resolved.
                  Thus, I want to file a complaint against them.
                  If they dont want to help the customers, or dont want to resolve the issues then it should be known to us by some means. It is not that we do some business and 1600 bucks which I am shelling is nothing for me.

                    Tikona Executive came to my place, showed me trial internet speed.
                    Filled my registration form.
                    Took cash from me for installation of product which was supposed to be followed up next day.
                    After taking the cash the tikona ppl have disappeared in thin air and no one can be found on any given nos.
                    I am attaching the bill and copy recied from tikona, also email correspondence with them.
                    Its been a month since i have been trying to follow up.. but no response from them,
                    Please help me with the same.

                      I took broadband connection and paid the amount.According to rules first months usage bill amount was collected at the time of installation.due to poor service I disconnected the service at the end of first month .After communicating that the service is terminated .After 2 ,3 months they are charging some money .Please help.

                        I want to get rid of Tikona connection because of their extremely unprofessional attitude. Below is the email I wrote to their Appeliate authority -

                        Because of the unprofessional attitude of Tikona executives and resultant harassment, I want to disconnect Tikona services.

                        1. It took Tikona 3 weeks to setup the connection, despite numerous calls and emails.
                        2. It Tikona another 2 weeks to send a technical team member to setup the wifi router, again despite numerous calls and emails.
                        3. The technical team was not able to setup the wifi, when I called customer support to have my wifi amount refunded, my phone was disconnected twice after keeping me on hold for 15 mins (as mentioned in my previous email).
                        4. In one of my previous emails, I had also informed you that I keep on getting calls for Tikona collection agents asking me to pay unpaid amount, even though nothing is due from my side.

                        As a result of this extremely unprofessional attitude, I can no longer go ahead with Tikona. Please refund all the money that I have paid so far (including installation charges), you can deduct the pro-rate rent for the number of days I have used the Tikona service.

                        In reply to this email, S.Nair (Tikona Appeliate authority) send me an email saying that Tikona has recieved my payment (is that in any way related??). On top of it they tell blatant lies saying that you are not reachable on phone, I am pretty sure that I'm reachable on phone and no one Tikona ever called.

                        Any suggestions what to do next?

                          Sir,
                          I have taken a Tikona connection in January 2012 from Tikona Networks and as the service was not upto satisfaction, i have requested for disconnection.
                          The concerned personnel have taken away the device on 9/02/2012 from my house and he said that the connection is removed and final settlement is done, where i paid around Rs1912/- towards the final settlement. Even after the disconnection, i was being billed for consecutive 2-3 months for which i always called the customer care and explained the situation to them. For the past one week, i have been receiving calls from some unknown people claiming that they are public advocates from pune, mumbai and delhi and saying that Tikona is filing a case on me for sections 420,426,etc... that there is unpaid settlement for 3900 odd and asking me to go for private settlement and avoid the harrasment of police complaint and litigation.
                          The calls are received from number [protected]on 6/10/2012, [protected] on 04/10/2012 and there was another call which i dont remember.
                          I havent used the connection for which i am being asked to pay the amount. I am here with attaching the final settlement slip the company personnel gave me.
                          Please help me regarding this. I dont want to get into these hassles.
                          Even today i have received a call from someone claiming to be a lawyer that a case is going to be registered near Delhi magistrate at 11am and wants me to pay 5000/- to avoid the case. The call came from number [protected].
                          I havent used the connection for the time specified and they want me to pay the money for no real reason. Please help me in this regards

                            Hi,
                            My name is Jumeesh, from bangalore.I was using tikona wireless broadband. From June onwards we were unable to access the net and we called tikona customer support, but there was no response from there end and we were unable to get anyone online.
                            After 4 month...that is on[protected] there are calling us and telling to make payment of rs 2800 ie 5 month bill and a case is registered on Mr.Jumeesh pn in Delhi court and you have to pay rs35,000 as fine as well.
                            Apart from monthly message regarding bill payment which i didn't used we didn't get any support from Tikona.
                            Could you please advise what action to be taken for this from our side as we can pay the bill amount that we didn't use.

                            I have an exact similar case. These Tikona goons are threatening for no real reason. These are looters and trying to cheat in all respects.

                              We have taken tikona service.
                              But as we are not satisfied with we wanted to discontinue it.
                              But strange there is no way where we can apply for disconnection.
                              As they dont have physical office for the same, niether do there website has this
                              option.
                              So we called customer care for the same.
                              They informed us to send mail to [protected]@tikona.in
                              which we did on 3 sep.

                                I have subscribed Tikona Broad band internet from January 2012 My Account number was:- [protected]
                                Since the day I subscribe Tikona it was not working & I am getting problem with internet connection. Most of the time it is not connecting to internet or not getting any speed . 95% of the time i am getting this problem. I have call help desk several time but the problem doesn’t resolve. Hence i decided to to Quite it in March 12.

                                I have made all the payments. But every month after March Tikona Billing department call me twice a week for the payment and started harassment. When i call Customer care they say there is no due from my side but Billing department keeps calling me for

                                Now they have made a hight there adovicate(Cell [protected]) call me for Rs1099 to be paid immediatly other wise i need to come to Pune for tiral. How can they launch a complaint against me if i have subsribe in Pune , Maharashtra

                                I want this harassment to be stop from Tikona and what ever the payment i have made extra to be return to me.

                                Let me know if i need to send any more details .

                                  i had taken tikona broadband service which i had already prepaid one year charge for the service provided by them. for further renewal service no payment paid by me and the invoice generated. i had just received an sms of new invoice generate with no conformation the bill is generated. as i don't need the service had informed their customer care executive immediately after receiving the sms to disconnect the service.
                                  Again called customer care regarding immediate stop the service on two times on 30.09.12 and 09.10.12. while taking the connection the sales executive had given the wrong information i had called customer care and intimated the same by email also. now as i had called for disconnection i had came to know that email updated is also false email address . before my payment no service is to be renewed. i need the service been disconnected immediately. no further bill will be paid for the usage done. kindly disconnect the service and collect your modem and wire immediately and receive me the acknowledgement. rash answers by the call from their customer care executive for payments. received a call today on 11.10.12 from[protected].
                                  NOTE;-no any information regarding my excess paid amount by the company. known after calling for disconnection on 30.9.12.

                                  complaint for email address and disconnection on 30-09-12 no response from the company and the company closed. again complaint for the same purpose on 09.10.12 only email address changed and received confirmation only by sms and no confirmation of disconnection. just received a call on 11.10.12 for payment of generated bill. soon as possible cancel the invoice and refund me the excess paid amount of rs352 approx.

                                  complaint dates:-30/09/12---3 complaints on the same day for disconnection and email address change & 09/10/12- complaint for same purpose.

                                    Hi, my name is ajay jain. I am using tikona broadband for more than 6 month . probabily i was facing problem 2 or 3 days in month but in the current month For the past 2 week i am not able to use my tikona broadband services as it is disconnecting frequently. I have complained about it several times to the customer care. They have sent their engineer 4 times in this 2 week. still no solution. The problem is the internet get disconnected very frequently in every 5 or 10 mins for which i am not able to do my task and assignments. Its really a pathetic situation for me. As complaining about these things is not working. TIKONA is not bothered about their customers as well as their official. The engineer that came to check and found the AXIS POINT problem in our area at all as it is very critical problem of disconnection. I have the toll free numbers of[protected]. I have tried several times. For the past 2 week I have paid the bill out of no objective. Kindly help me out with dis. My details are as follows :

                                      I was having Tikona A/c [protected] for which i inform to company for its closure through their executive in June 2012 . But they have not closed the account. & i have received the bill till September 2012.

                                      Now the Shocking Movement, today i received the Call from Lawyer from Chennai High Court. He directly told that Pay your Dues otherwise be ready to pay fine Rs. 75000 & 7 months Jail.

                                      Its shocking to note that the company had not given me any notice for payment of dues. I received call directly from High Court. thats amazing how fast is our law.

                                      I talked to company , but they said we cant do anything & the lawyer is saying that the matter is between you & court, company have nothing to do in this. He is not ready to listen & directly threatens to pay dues. Further the sales executive who gave me connection is also doing nothing. Its his mistake who had not forwarded the closure form.

                                      At the end i am forced to pay Rs. 2215 even i have not used the connection after june 2012

                                      Also i request all other consumers to never trust Tikona Company & its executives. & never take Internet connection from this Company.

                                        Dear Sir,
                                        Sometime in Aug/Sept 2011, some sales guys from Tikona approached me for broadband connection. At that time i had just shifted my residence to Mogappair west, VGN Nagar, since BSNL could not shift my phone/ Internet connection as there was a shortage of cable, i went along with Tikona. They convinced me to take the connection. After taking the connection the promised speed and service was not there so i spoke to one Mohan who was their sales manager at that time, the problems that i was facing. he came home and checked the speed and told me, that's the maximum that i can get and asked me to surrender the connection as what was promised cannot be given. What was promised was 10GB for Rs 800-900/ or so. I asked them to disconnect it after 2 weeks of stallation, since they had not disconnect it, i requested Bala Their Chennai Manager to disconnect it and refund the deposit since it was a refundable deposit. After about 1 month or so tikona call center called up and said i owe them about 3000/ plus, i asked them how is it possible, cos i was not getting any reception and that their sales manager confirmed that the signal is very very poor. After almost every 2-3 days they took turns to call me up and harass me, in fact their finanace manager one Ram kumar and rajkumar visited my place and they crossed checked with Mohan and the many others that i was dealing with. They told me that those people have all left because tikona is a bad pay masters. When the harassment continued to called up Prakash Baj[pai and informed him of my harassment, he had promised me that tikona have improved the service and that he will ask his trusted staff to call me up, then a lady by name Vinni called and told me that she will give me free connection on trial basis for a month, i wasn't keen on it as i had gone in for Aircel data card. She insisted that i try their service and said i have nothing to loose, I told her that i am shifting my residence to OMR and she promised to check for reception and get back to me, then someone from Tikona called to say that they will not be able to give me connection in OMR and so they came and disconnected and took their modem, cables etc.2 months later i get a call from tikona saying that i owe them money, again when i explain all the story they say ok they will sent me a cheque for the advance i paid, then again after 2-3 months i get calls from their call center and the same goes on. Now i have reached a stage where its affecting my health as i go through a trauma as they have now started blackmailing me and mentally torchering me. At my age being a diabetes for 28 yrs i find that these torchering i cant handle. I sincerely request somebody to come to my rescue and ask tikona to stop this blackmail. If they are doing this blackmailing to avoid paying me the refundable amount of Rs 1000/ its ok let them keep it. I will think that i gave it to charity. But this torchering has to stop. Please help.
