I had took broadband connection from Tikona by hearing their promise of 4mbps unlimited. The connection was intermittent it won't be there when we ant the most. The service personnel's are pathetic they won't know what is the term service. They will hang you up when we raise complaints. I had paid 2600 initially. Since their service was worst than every one i had sent a mail to customer care asking for immediate disconnection.

After a few days i didn't get any response from them so i had sent a mail again. Still no response .Once after the billing date has crossed they started sending bills and calls asking to pay the bill ASAP.

Please take an appropriate inquiry on these people and bring them to light of this day light robbery.
Any way im not planning to pay the bill.

Tikona — Disconnected service yet bills sent

Hi,
Have disconnected my service account ni[protected] ages back for the feasibility unstable in wireless connection in Thane. Tried to work out by fixing up Access Point in my terrace, yet no success.

Now years after disconnection - am being harrased with calls, sms, mails and hard copies of accumulating rentals. Every week get atleast 4-5 calls for reminder.

Couriers normally reach in odd times of the day (1430 hrs to 1500 hrs) when my parents (senior citizens) are set for short nap - proper harrasment to get a bill for the service not in existance.

Wonder if I can file a harrasment suit!?

    I installed a Tikona Internet service at my home in January 2013. Since installation day, I have regularly complained to Tikona, regarding the poor reception and the internet breaking down every twenty minutes. Inspite of regular complaints they did not any send any personnel to get the installation checked. In March end they finally send an engineer and he confirms my hypothesis that the internet is not working because there is no reception there. He says that I do not need for the internet and I will be reimbursed for my other bills as well.


    Just today I got a bill from Tikona and I do not know how to confront them inspite of repeating my side of the story to all of them repeatedly. Can anyone help how to approach them?

      After a long effort Tikona has been disconnected on Nov 2012. I have returned the modem on mid of Dec 2012. I have attached the receipt of device recovery in this post.

      Today I got a call from[protected] stated that Tikona has filed a case against me for the outstanding amount of Rs.1500/-. The person who called said that he was calling from Uttam Nagar Police Station and I have to go there. When I called on [protected] (Tikona Customer Care), they said the same amount as outstanding. When I said that I have already returned the device and can produce the receipt, the CS person told to ignore the call and the database will be updated.

      Why Tikona did not verify whether the device is returned or not before filed the case. If I will get any more call for the same, I will file a case against Tikona.

      Other members on this forum, Please tell me the procedures to file a consumer case against Tikona.

        Firstly the connection had problems and my internet stopped working. This was in June 2012. My plan was Rs. 1100 per month. Then I had to log three separate complaints so that my issue could be fixed but no one was sent to service it and no one repaired it. So I called up customer care to disconnect it. He took my request and told me that my service has been disconnected and the device will be collected. So a person came and collected the device and did not provide me with a receipt. I didn't ask for one since I did not know that I would need one.

        After one month another person from tikona calls and says that I have not paid my bill for June. I told the concerned person that I would pay only Pro-Rate till the date my internet was working. That person also conveyed to me that my connection has not been disconnected and that I am supposed to send a mail for the same.

        Finally my connection was disconnected in July and I was asked to pay the entire amount for 2 months. I had to fight it out with tikona people and finally they agreed to send me a Pro-Rate bill. They told me the bill would be mailed to me. A bill has never been mailed to me till date.

        Today their advocate calls and threatens to file a case and send me to jail if I do not pay up. When I called up customer care asking where is my bill so that I can pay it I was informed that my mail id is wrongly registered with tikona hence I didn't receive a mail and also that I haven't returned the device hence I would have to pay Rs. 1500 fine.

        So kindly help me out here. I was told by their Customer Care executive Ms. Nidhi Awasthi that it is not my fault that I do not have a receipt since their person who took the device didn't give one but since I do not have a receipt they have the right to charge me Rs. 1500. So basically they are out rightly looting me.

        I have been threatened. I have wasted my time attending and calling up customer care and finally they ask me to pay for something which is not my fault and has been acknowledged by their own customer care executive.

        So should I lodge an FIR against this company for looting me or a Case in Consumer Court for harassing me? Kindly let me know at the earliest.

          Dear Sir/Madam,

          I have been using Tikona Broadband from June 2011 in Bangalore, Karnataka. I am an Customer for them for almost One and Half Year. I was promised a speed of 600kbps when I took the Plan. They gave me the New Connection in just 2 days. But after a couple of months the grim reality of Tikona started to appear. Whenever u used to call the Tikona Customer Care, I was put on hold for close to 20 to 25 minutes, and when the Tikona Customer Care people received the call they wouldn't even listen to my problems and just take my Tikona Service ID: [protected], and they would say that they would put me on hold and then Directly Disconnect the Call. I was very much disappointed in their service.

          Then a new kind of trouble started I would often get speed where I couldn't even open a web page, the internet speed was so slow that I couldn't even login to Tikona's Home Page. So after repeated complaints for almost 5 to 6 months, the Tikona didn't even bother to call me back to see what my problem was. Then I decided to Switch to other service provider. Hence I asked them to deactivate my Account. After raising this ticket I started to get call from Tikonas various Representatives asking me to stay with Tikona and also told me if I would like to give them another chance they will provide with good support. Then also offered me a PLAN saying that I was entitled for two months free usage. By then I thought I would give them another chance to Prove themselves Right. But the next month I was in for a great surprise, I got a bill stating that the whole months bill had been generated. And now I had to pay them every single Rupee. I didn't understand what happened to my 2 month free usage.


          So now I have got a Bill stating that I have to pay Rs.2306 even though I'm not using the connection from past 2 months. And Company has stated that they would give me an Rebate of Rs.692 and finally i have to pay an amount of Rs.1614 within 10 days of receiving an Notice, i have received that Notice on 30th July 2012, even though I was not given my Promised 2 months free usage i have to pay Rs.1614 now itself only, if i don't i will face Legal actions from their side it seems. Please help me Resolve this matter.

          Since i had complained about the same in Consumer court i had got the below Response from Tikona Services itself:

          Hello Sir,

          We thank you for your mail.

          We have saved your details in our database, and forwarded them along with your grievance to the concerned Department. At Tikona Services, we try our utmost to keep our customers satisfied. After all you are the reason and the very purpose of our existence.

          Please be patient and help us serve you better.

          After this i got a call from Tikona Representatives and they said that it had been mistake from their end for not providing the waiver and they posted the below post in Consumer Court Forum:

          Dear Mr. Akshay,

          We are grateful that your service request was brought to our attention and we appreciate your perseverance in settling this matter.

          As per conversation with you on 2nd August 2012, we would like to informed that We are providing you the waiver of Rs. 2,305.2/- as per commitment given to you.

          And also would like to informed that we are activating your tikona account after providing the waiver.

          As per your Speed request Kindly request you to refer the attachment of New plan sheet and please revert us back after for the same selected plan.

          Also request you to make an advance payment for the selected plan.

          Please feel free to contact us on[protected] to provide us any feedback regarding our service our Customer Care associate will be glad to assist you".

          So as per the above Post and also as per the connfirmation email which i had received on 2nd of August 2012 itself Tikona itself are confirming me of providing the waiver of Rs. 2,305.2/- as per commitment given to me.

          Since i didn't wanted to continue with your service anymore i even gave back all the Modem and other Equipments which were given to me by Tikona at the time of Installation. A technician by the name Kiran Kumar (Mob:[protected]) came and took all the Equipments from my home. He even has provided me with an CPE REMOVAL LETTER when he took all the Equipments i.e on 9/8/2012.

          So now Please EXPLAIN TO ME WHY AM I STILL GETTING CALLS FROM TIKONA REPRESENTATIVES & TIKONA LEGAL DEPARTMENT SAYING THAT I STILL HAVE TO PAY AN OUTSTANDING AMOUNT OF Rs.2305??

          I have got calls like this close to 15 times till now. I used to Ignore this thinking that your Database isn't updated about this information.

          But now i have got an Email from Legalcolls Department saying its an Final Demand Notice and i have to pay an amount of Rs.2305.

          Please help me resolve this matter at the earliest.

            Sir,
            My user id is : [protected]. I requested for disconnection in the month of march 2013. And at the time of installation they told me that if you return the modem we will get the entire amount which I paid at the time of installation(Rs.1200/-). And even at the time of disconnection they mentioned me like that. So accordingly one executive came and he collected the modem and told me that I will the receive the cheque within 7 working days. And they have send me a mail stating FULL AND FINAL SETTLEMENT in which only Rs.25/- I will be getting. I am not able to understand what they send in the mail.After talking to customer care now they are saying that u wont get any amount. Then I again contacted to the person who has taken back the modem from me. He told that I will definitely get the money back in the from of cheque and he has sent a request also to them stating that he has collected all the equipment from the concerned person and request for refund of the amount. After talking to customer care 3-4 times say that wait for 4 hrs we will call back u and then no reply from them.I am totally confused.
            Please help me in getting back the amount.

            Tikona Broadband Services — No service guy turns up even after complaining for 8 times

            Had taken up the Tikona broadband connection since three weeks ago which worked o.k. for 3 dayus and after that it got disconnected for the wireless connection for my laptop. Raised complaint for 8 times and noone is turning up.
            The call centre executives assure for immediate action but nothing is happening till date.

            Tikona Broadband — not refund payment

            Tikona Broadband service. Their Engineer comes to site and told me that here we can not catch signal and you will get check in 10 days. Check amount is debited from my account to Tikona. I have done so many mail communication with Tikonacare but they are reply like your transaction in process..

              What they claim and the display of plan on tikona site is absolutely of no match..simply it makes them bandwidth stealer plain a thief.

              Im have taken ADBBM849 plan after being suggested by tikona executive only,which will provide me atleast a speed of 1mbps ...which is also mentioned in your tikona site

              and no other condition is specified in the mentioned plan ADBBM849

              But im not even getting a speed of 300kbps consistently and Every day i put a mail for my issue related to 1-[protected] and everyday i get a mail specifying issue is been resolved but
              im still facing the same issue with the bandwidth and its very dissapointing to see the inefficiency of tikona VIRAR Region Head to resolve a problem
              which is been pertaining for the last 2 months with consistent lodging complain notification by me..
              If such person is incapable of resolving such a minor issue,then how come he is justifying the
              position he is holding on..better he should be resigning.

              Either resolve the problem or provide me an official mail justifying the speed im getting..
              or just provide me an official mail specifying the incapability of VIRAR REGION HEAD
              along with apology fot all this harassment he and his team is putting me through

              I too very much agree with this problem which I feel they are not taking seriously because they think VIRAR is a village and people here does not deserve better service.
              Secondly they still are getting more customers every day so they don't mind caring for old customer even if they loose them.
              My request to VIRAR TIKONA USERs is to come together and launch an agitation against them because the real reason behind us not getting the bandwidth is the addition of countless new customer who are sharing/eating our bandwidth.
              So we have to force them to either install/buy more bandwidth or tell new customers to wait till they do it.
              I am a very old Tikona Customer and I Love Tikona so please don't deprive us for our /service/benefits.
              As a prooof I have attached 2 screenshots and you just look at the time of both and believe the difference yourself.

              Tikon is worst Internet provider. I closed my connect but they are still sending me bills.
              In logo se pichha chudana bad a mushkil kaam hai.
              They are refusing to give you bill so they couldn't Coughton by law.
              If you are planning to close connection better to go in their office and close the connection and take slip of that.
              I have paid rs 3034/- towards installation charges at virar west shivsthan chs since last 10 days. Now my phone is not being picked up. If at all the manager shri ashish mishra picks up the call i am being told every time that there is no material. I want to know if the company has no material how do they book new connections.

                I am suffering from bad service of tikona service. I have lots of complaint
                in so short span of time. They are not able to provide service even on a
                single day. I am not willing to take more services of tikona broadband.

                I raised a complain asking them to waive off my bill because internet is not

                working since last three weeks. My internet was not working from 10APr2013

                to 1May2013. They raised a request with request number 1-[protected].
                But now what will i do with the waive off facility. The internet still not

                working even on a single day.
                Even raise the esacalation on my requeset. Still tikona duffers could not

                resolve my problem. my one more request remains unresolved i.e. 1-

                I contact them almost daily. but they all technician and customer care

                executives are so dumb that they are not able to resolve my issue

                permamently. I dont know for what i will pay my bill.
                I talked to Shahid (1-[protected]-req no. given by him). He told me that

                tower not perofrming and he will escalate the issue. but still after 48

                hours my internet not performing at all.
                I raise one more ticket as 1-[protected]-escalated too still no result.
                I talk to Sajid-he put my call on holld for unlimited time.
                Later on i raised the ticket to tech visit again with req no 1-[protected].

                I tired of complaining but all is in vain, never any request able to resolve

                my issue. never trust on Tikona, its just a fraud company who charge bill

                but wont provide you single effort to resolve your issue.

                Even they ask me to send the complain on [protected]@tikona.com. i send email

                to that too but still dont recieve any reply from that.

                Internet Broadband connection — Internet services not working.

                Internet Connection — fraud in connection

                I had give a call to sify for new internet connection on 15 april 2008. some one named rahul followed me and came to me on dated: 18 april 2008 for connection formalities. he had all the official documents and proof that he is sify employee. he took Rs.1399/- from me but he was fraud. so i called to sify for help several times. one of them Mr Azharuddin asked me to send Custmour Application Form by internet. I send that form and he told me that your amount will be return. now it is more than three month and there is no actions. so kindly help me for the same. I have lost my smal scale business.

                hi tech — broadband not working last two month

                I am using MTNL Broadband connection.From last 5-6 Months I am facing
                problem in Internet connection, some times It gets Connected or some
                times not .Most of the time its ADSL link continously blinking due to
                which I am unabel to browse any site. I have registered my complaint
                many times in MTNL via call center but still problem is same.My

                I have taken MTNL connection for last 6 Months it's less of an advantage and has become more of an curse on my side.

                I tried lodge complaint many times but all in vain. I don't know what should i do i feel like trapped in advertisement.

                inteenet is now working properly . i already made complaint twice or thrice but they are not taking any action. they told that it will be ready with in 24 hours but they are doing nothing. and there executive made fraud with us. he told us other things but the policy of the company is different.he told that we can connect 4 pc at a time and there will be speed of 300 kbps in day and 600 kbps in night but ..every thing is different . speed is too low and we are able to connect only one pc at a time at very poor performance .

                I had given the complaint for internet not working for past three days. The service people called me after 2 weeks, regarding my complaint.
                I had called the customer care for correction of my postal address. Atleast for 20 times i would informed for change of my address. Till now there was no action on it.
                They told to send the mail to the customer care. After sending many times also till now there was no response on the same.

                TIKONA BROADBAND the Worst company i have dealt with in my life and I strongly recommend that anyone one new to broadband should not get carried away by the sweet & cheap talk of their sales force. They have taken my money for a new installation in Hyderabad and as they could not provide proper connectivity having the junction box on my building, I asked them to re-fund my money and their customer service told me that I would receive the payment directly within two weeks of my request and its almost a month that i didnt get the amount and none of the sales guys & managers are not responding to my calls.
                I DONT KNOW WHO OWNS THIS CO BUT SHOULD LOOK INTO WHAT CUSTOMERS ARE FACING AND IF NOT VERY SOON THE CO WILL CLOSE FOR GOOD IN INDIA AS THEY CANNOT TAKE PEOPLE FOR A RIDE FOR TOO LONG, IF THE COMPANY GUYS ARE READING THIS PLZ HAVE SOME SHAME AND ACT IMMEDIATELY, if you require to contact me my email id: [protected]@gmail.com

                hey, so sad...
                here is my story...i've been waiting from the past 1 month... sales man took 500 r.s for installation charges by assuring that i would get the connection in 1 day...
                After calling so many times, one guy came n installed the device that too after 4 days...

                The real problem starts here...they seems to have a problem with their server..whenever i tried to login an error comes up as authentication login error...for the last 1 month, i've spoken to all the techs/officers for more than 100 times but none of them were able to solve the problem. Now i'm in the middle of nowhere..
                I don't know what to do now, they r not ready to cancel/disconnet the service either...who will help me now?

                Raised a request regarding internet is not working. callback is arranged after talking to Sujit. No callback received. Even Sujit conveyed that the server issue is going on, it will get ok by 1PM. But again in the evening i checked and found that internet is not working.
                I am tired of complaining but since last two months my internet is not working. Tikona tech staff is not able to solve the problem.
                please be aware that tikona is worst company in service provider, and liar staff who keep giving false execuse and not able to solve the problem ever.
                These Tikona care charge so high but at service leve they are just zero.
                Even the senior staff is also as duffer as other staff is. they are also so useless fellow that they dont understand the problem and uncapable of solving the issue.
                so irresponsible and non-technical staff is there that you will get tired of complaining them but they wont improve.
                Even i call again in the eveing, but when i asked from a person the reason for not doing a callback or not taking complaint seriously and not able to resolve it, then they simply disconnect the call without reply because they had no answer.

                what you technical people in Tikona are doing, can't you even solve a single issue. Can you provide services to a customer who is facing problem with your internet services since last two months continously. Even earlier also there was lot of problem keep coming in every 15-20 days but this time its not even working for a single day.
                As per my experience TIkona is a worst company i have ever deal with in services.

                The worst thing done by tikona customer care executive is they somehow blocked my number that i am not able to call and log a complaint against them. After all this is the only way left for them to get rid of me and my complaints.

Strange but true about TIKONA services.There are many more but initially i didnt kept the track.
                Then i tried to connect through hotline number and talked to Avinash and again my call disconnected inbetween when he was not able to rectify the problem of internet connection. He just told me that my roof device is taking signal from far device and not from near one. The engineer visit is required. After that neither i get any call for engineer visit nor i get this problem rectified.

                shameless staff and irresponsible seniors and fraud owner are running TIKONA.

                Even after raising lots of complaint against Tikona, my problem didnt consider. I have lots of

                connection correction request too, but Tikona is never able to provide a single day with average

                service even. My list of complaints in the month of june 2013 and july 2013 are as follows:-

                resolution. I keep facing the issue, even next time i try to talk to him, but he respond through the

                Rajesh ithape-senior didnt respond, he said he will callback because busy right now, but i didnt

                receieve any callback from him. I waited more than 24 hour but no response.

                I talked to Pradeep on 9Jul2013, the call got disconnected inbetween and no one response back. I had

                to call again. I look like pradeep could not resolve the issue so he disconnected the call.
                I also talked to Tushaar on the same day, he was very genuine and nice person, talked nicely and tried

                to resolve my issue at his best. But after 2 days it again stopped working.

                  My tikona broadband connection id no is [protected]. I had received very interrupted services from tikona digital network company , so i complained on 14 April 2013 for disconnecting my tikona connection for the very poor services and i requested him to disconnect his connection immediately but he did not disconnect it and the company's customer care executive called me and convinced me by saying that he will provide me a better service and he promised that his engineer will personally meet me and resolve my problem and told me that he will provide 10 days free trial to satisfy our concerns to make sure that we continue using tikona service but nothing was done and they generated the next bill and they did not disconnect my account when i severally informed them by mailing and calling them and because of that I was troubled. and they sent the bill of Rs.673 that i had to pay because they threatened me that if i will not pay their bill they will keep on generating bills every month and penalty will be charged. and they also threatened if i will not pay they will case on me in mumbai "30hajari court"so because of this threat i had to deposit the money 673 unnecessarily so please I request the consumer Forum to kindly look into this matter and resolve this problem as soon as possible and in the last 6 months the problems i have faced due to the poor internet services should also be taken into care and penalty the company and return my money.

                    i was a subscriber of tikona broadband in chennai.
                    i was using nearly for few months.
                    As the speed was very slow i was using it as backup connection. i could not utilze this as primary internet source as it was slow.

                    i complaint through fone couple of time waiting. the ivrs indicated the cc executive are busy and they will revert back by calling me.
                    i decided later to disconnect the fone as they did not call and i called them to disconnect. the executives removed the RF devices from my home and indicated the receipt will be sent
                    through courier directly from tikona office.

                    i shifted my home later to coimbatore.

                    i received call couple of time from them to make the payments for the months even i have not used.

                    i indicated that i would pay only for the month i have used and asked them to send me the corrected billing.
                    As the executives who spoke to me was making a fake claim of billing and disrespectful i asked them to move this legally.

                    last month i received call from delhi from number (Tikona delhi:[protected] indicating that he is from high court and asked me to appear in court in delhi
                    the very next day.

                    the guy was indicating unresonably that this will get enlisted in RBI defaulter list and no loan could be availed by me from any bank.
                    i asked him to courier the details of legal notice and he rejected my request and he was very vehement indicating either i neeed to pay 4000 rupees to
                    close the issue or i need to appear in delhi court.

                    i request tikona exective to see this issue and i am indicating here clearly that if proper bill is produced i would certainly pay.

                    without a right bill & threatning the customer with legal notice is still an illegal demand.
                    btb i dont have loans, i dont need any loans any further any bank.

                    this complaint will bring a good awarness for all other consumers not to get cheated by tikona.

                    i am going to request RBI whether they put me in dafauter list.
                    if anyone know how to do this pls tell me.
                    if they really made me a defaulter i want to see further legally to ensure other consumers like me not to get affected by tikona.

                    As they keep sending me the invalid billing i ignored the mail and i received a mail in spam folder on Jan12 which happen to see only last week(APR 3 rd week 2013)
                    after i threat received call from delhi.

                    they have indicated me in the mail to pay some discounted money.

                    i am indicating this to tikona i would certainly pay if the right testimonies are produced.

                    Same thing happened to me too from this same idiotic company.

                    No one have rights to abuse / misuse the name of "Delhi High Court".

                    I have already warned these people many times through phone / email not to abuse the Delhi high court name.

                    Still these people didnt listen to this at all.

                    Lately, I have made a complaint on this to the Delhi Commissioner of Police. They have promised me that they will investigate this issue.

                    Hope it will get solved soon. If you google search tikona you can find thousands of such issues where they called many people and threatening them which is totally against the law.

                    Dont worry about these guys. Next time if they call you, please record the calling which will be useful for us.

                    Hi guys, iam also facing the same issue. I disconnectex my tikona act on 16feb 2013.
                    After 2 months I.e on may I got mail withsubject billing frm tikona. In that they have mentioned termination penalty charges 1500. I tried calling their cc no. But cudnt speak with cc person since lt is asking enter user id, if I enter my closed user id, it is saying invalid.
                    Then I sent a mail to them, to which they responded, the reason for my termination penalty given by them is not returning of modem, but I returned everything in proper working condition.

                    Before taking tikona connection I went thru the online review, where lots of complaints were raised on tikona for generating bill even after termination, so be on safer side I carefully kept the cpe recovery letter given by the person, who took all the euipments n modem from my home after cancellation.

                    I scanned n sent the cpe recovery letter to cc mail id, it has been more than 5 days still nocontact from their side.

                    I want to take legal action aganist them, for causing trouble, but dontknow how to do so.
                    Iam in chennai, if ahnybody knows any advocate who ll take up these kind fof issue, pls share his/her information.

                    Tikona — NO RESPONSE FOR DISCONNECTION AND GETTING BILLS AFTER DISCONNECTION REQUEST

                    I Have given the request through mail and called to customer care for disconnection. As per their time line 15 days for the disconnection.Only got a bill and no action, after i called to customer care several times.

                      After telling so many times they are not processing my disconnection request. It was placed on 15 March according to them and they have not sent a person to collect their device and send me a FULL AND FINAL SETTLEMENT. Only of they send me that i can make the payment and get my deposit back. They are blocking my money for quiet long time and the service is poor in customer sastisfaction

                        A guy called himself as calling from "Delhi HIGH COURT" from the number[protected] threatening many people to pay some outstanding balances to the Tikona Internet Company within 2 days or else will face arrest warrant.

                        This guy is very fluently talking in Hindi / English / Tamil and he is repeatedly saying he is calling from "DELHI HIGH COURT"

                        While I replied him to send the arrest warrant, he started using filthy words.

                        How a collection agent can misuse the name of the DELHI HIGH COURT? If you can google search about "Tikona Threatening call" you can see thousands of such instances where everyone got a call from this filthy guy informed everyone that called from "DELHI HIGH COURT".

                        Is there any way we can contact the DELHI HIGH COURT to take necessary action against this idiotic guy who misuses the high court's name?

                        same happened to me. The guy from same number called and asked me to appear in delhi high court. he said he has already sent me notice at my address. I didn't receive any kind of notice while I was receiving the tikona bill at same address.I got call today at 8 th May. Did anything happen to you after the call. I simply said no to person on call and asked him to send me notice first then I will proceed.
                        I've filed a complaint against this guy with the Delhi Police and they informed that they will investigate on this issue.

                        I've already provided the police the proof from various forums that the same guy is threatening everyone using Delhi High Court's name.

                        Same happened to me. The guy from same number called. He asked me to pay Rs.4100/- by internet or I will have to pay 10 times the amount. Or else he asked me to appear in delhi high court.
                        He introduced himself as Mr Om Prakash Choudhury, Information Officer, Delhi High Court and gave his address as Room no 104, Gate no 3, Delhi High Court.
                        He has even given me a file number 22204/2013 and a suit no HTC/609730/2013/. When I told him that High Court is on vacation and in any case, HC has no original jurisdiction, he simply threatened me with dire consequences.

                        I had used Tikona for two months, paid all my bills and asked them to stop the service due to extremely poor quality, no after sales and a pathetic on-line help. I have told them repeatedly to take away their modem, but they are more keen on extortion.

                        My advocate has advised that I should record the conversation when he calls me next and complaint for impersonation and extortion.

                            I have got new tikona broaband unlimited connection ADULM1024. While taking connection, representative told me that it was unlimited plan with any speed downgrade. now after one week , they have reduced my speed to 256kbs stating that you have reached your primary speed limit, help me regarding this.

                              I got an internet connection from Tikona in March 2013 under the user id: [protected].
                              I subscribed to the unlimited plan ADULM1024 which has a download speed of 1mbps. This plan is listed under the category of "Heavy Usage" where they have clearly mentioned "No GB restriction" and "No speed downgrade". Despite of the unlimited heavy usage plan I subscribed to, tikona has limited my speed to half the speed. Now I'm getting a variable speed of 300-600 kbps. I have lodged this complain to tikona several times. But all they say is there is a fair usage plan of 30GB under my plan. However, when I first got the connection I was clearly explained that there is "NO GB RESTRICTION" and "NO SPEED DOWNGRADE" and that I can download as much as I want. Moreover tikona has listed this plan even in their website and has clearly mention that there is "No GB restriction" and "No speed downgrade".
                              This is nothing but cheating the customers. Tikona is a fraud.
                              I want my money back or my speed restored.

                              tikona internet — CHEATING CUSTOMERS

                              I have taken tikona intenet connection before a 5 days.. I worked for two day .. They

                              promised the speed of 2MBPS but actual speed is 200KBPS... After two days it stopped

                              working.. I have called customer care for more than 15 times. everytime they say call after

                              4 hrs as their system is down.. they can help.. it is now 3 days my internet connection is

                              not working and still they say call after 4 hrs.. They consider customers as fool.. I dont

                              understand when 4 hrs will be completed?

                              Since 1 hr i m calling to customer care but it is showing busy how this is possible?

                              And the way customer care officers treat customers is worst.. They are very rude.. I have

                              never seen such Customer care... If we say them we will complain they simply say 'Do

                              whatever u want !!!'

                              When i asked them to remove my connection and give my money back they say they cant do ....

                              Tikona is one of the worst service provider in any business. I have paid my installation fees in cash in order to get the connection earlier. I did this on the their executive's instructions. But i have not got any call from them even after 7-8 days. I talked to their executive calling them 4-5 times, but you won't believe that they actully fooled me by telling me that an engineer is on his way. After confirming 4 times with their executive, One day i left office, leaving all my work behind, just to recieve their engineer. Guess what, I waited for 4-5 hours at home leaving all the tasks behind and nobody showed up. And but obvious the executive with whom i had spoken won't pick up my phone now. Customer care number is total waste :(

                              Stay away from tikona. No matter what they offer. If this is the way they start business with customer, you can only imagine the worst support you will be recieving in future.

                                Dear madam / sir,
                                I m writing this in deep concern, today for the 1st time I got a call from an unknown Delhi number stating he is a lawyer at Delhi high court , and a case has been filed against me for a non payment of rs.2200 odds amount.
                                this person sounded rough and unpolished to speak to a lady. he named himself Shankar Tripati

                                In my conversation I inform him that I had requested for disconnection of tikona internet services in the month of November 12, infact I also have a service request no. (1 - [protected] ) ,which I got from their own call center for a disconnection initiated by me. inspite of several follow up Tokana people got their instruments collected in march 13.

                                I also tried hard explaining this person on event so far and the bill is invalid . trust all my conversation fell in deaf ears. the person took someone else on conference named Surendra Tiwari . trust both sound rough and spoke like a extortionist . it sounded like a crowded call center in the background.
                                they threaten me to pay else they will put me at large for 40 - 50 thousand rupees if I don't pay now

                                what I can understand , I requested disconnection in November 12 , Tikona team kept mum for 6 MONTHS. treating this as free target billing. and now they are sending calls all out of blue from some unpolished thinking we will pay in fear.

                                I suggest Tikona set up better marketing / sales plan to retain customer.trust the services are bearely upto competition standards. extorting money from innocent people will only defame your brand and challenge your survival

                                Please do not believe the calls. This is a nationwide extortion of money going on under Tikona name. The calls are from goons hired to extort any amounts from customers. In fact there is no such lawyer in any of such courts. This racket needs to be exposed in all newspapers. This is serious now.

                                  Tikona Digital Networks is Worst Internet Service, never take it else you keep on crying .My Customer ID: [protected] Bangalore
                                  i am reporting poor speed problem from 4 months, almost daily calling them. these are always saying in next 24HRS we will short your problem. It never happened today i have 30-40 complaint no.s but still a single problem havnt been shorted out , the company has poor technical team .

                                  Worst ISP.... NEVER TAKE IT.....

                                    This is Saumya Jena,
                                    I had a Internet connection of Tikona in 2011. (User ID- [protected]) in Mumbai.
                                    Then I got married in Nov 30th of 2012. I shifted to my new room in the month of November 2012 .
                                    From mid of September 2012 I have not used the internet connection. Because the signal and the room relocation process. For this particular aspects I have informed to Tikona care but Tikona care executive visited my place but unable to resolve the issue. However I have relocated and gone for my marriage.
                                    So I have not used the Tikona internet connection since October-2012 (User ID- [protected]).
                                    As I was relocated I wanted to transfer my connection over in new residency. But for the period of 2month Tikona care was not bother about this.
                                    One day One of Tikona care executive (Vinoy Opadhy-[protected]) called me to transfer the connection to my new room with the modem to my new residency.
                                    He was told me that no need to pay any of previous bills as u has not used the connection for last two months. I will inform to them and block your account, And give me 2000 for installation +100 my service fee to give u a new connection with your wife name.
                                    I was agreed on this proposal and got a new connection o[censored]ser ID-[protected].
                                    After 9months till date[protected] no body from the Tikona customer care executive called me for my previous bill even I have checked the same in internet that previous ID was blocked seems.
                                    Today[protected] Someone as Nadita Varme ([protected]-Tikona customer care Legal advisor) called me at 11:00 to pay the previous bill before 12:30 or els she will going case a file on me .
                                    When I was checked in customer care the outstanding amount is showing 2714 .
                                    When I was asked for the bill statement for Tikona customer care there in dilemma that how this was happened. And suggest me that not to worry we will not file a case on you and we will block the process. In more detail I asked them Then they told me that bill amount is of 1214 including the late fee and the modem charge is of 1500. Thing is that during the process of my new connection I was submitted the old modem to the Tikona customer care executive ((Vinoy Opadhy-[protected]).
                                    Please resolve my issue the customer care of Tikona is harassing me like anything

                                      This is Brij Bhan username I have a Tikona Internet connection, username [protected].

                                      From the beginning the Tikona connection was recommended by a friend of mine a month ago (March 05, 2013) and I opted for this service. However, ever since this network has been installed at my home I have been facing issues however, it has never been resolved despite several complaints to the Representative who visited my place for the installation. I tried to convince him to fix the issue several times but he made excuses every now and then.

                                      In beginning when the Representative came for the installation, he connected wire in someone else's box on the roof and stated that it will work better. He made online payment from my Debit card for 1650/- which I felt was right for the connection.

                                      He didn't fix the wires inside home and said you can fix it and take money from ma. It was quite insulting as we are paying for the installation and we are being asked to fix the wires on our own.

                                      On the very next day of installaion the services has been very poor and I am not being able to use the service properly because of roaming issue (which a Representative on the call with Customer care confirmed).

                                      I have tried everything I could to resolve the issue and every time it seems that it is getting worse since the Representatives over the call are not even trying to understanbd what the probem is.

                                      I have now decided to disconnect the services and expecting a full refund of the paid money.

                                      As I do not want to pay any penny for the serviecs I am not getting.

                                      Moreover, when I called customer care who suppose to be helping me in resolving the issue, were so ignorant and irresponsible that they don't even whated to know what exactly the problem is and the last Representative whom I spoke with was helpfull since I asked for the cancellation.

                                      I mean they are providing the serviecs and their Customer Care Representatives are not being helpfull so what is the point me keeping the services that doesn't work.


                                      Tikona called me after I placed cancellation request and they insist me for providing better services. A Technical Support officer visited my place and for just 20 to 30 minutes the Internet worked fine and then it wasn't working at all like all the time.

                                      This has been a limit since I installed this service which never works fine. Therfore, I have placed cancelaltion request again for which the reference number is 1-[protected] and it has not been canceled/resolved yet. And the Customer care Represenatives now say that they can cancel but I will be charged full amount since the bill cycle is closed.

                                      Whenever, I have called Customer Care for help they have never treated me well and the way they talk is another nightmare for having these services.

                                      Last time I had a word with Customer Care Representative name Rohit and the way he handled me was like he hasn't even learned how to handle customers and disconnected the after creating more frustration than it I ever was.

                                      Last but not the least, Representative in the Care team all are same they don't know how to work in Customer Care department and Customer Care in Tikona don't have Supervisors. As I have requested more than 26 times in last 26 interactions but Supervisor was never available for me.

                                      All I want from Tikona is give me my money back for this worthless service 1650/-.

                                      I would have taken more time to write full story on Tikona's services but I though it'd be good idea to file a complaint at Consumer court.

                                      Tikona — No connection installed by Tikona Internet even after full payment has been made

                                      I had applied for the tikona wibro on 29th april and till now its not been installed. The sr number is 1-[protected]. I have been talking to a lot many people in the customer care as well as your technical team and no one has got the connection installed yet. Everytime I call I get to hear "sorry". But no one is working towards the resolution of the issue. Appointments are being taken by team on daily basis and no one turns up on time. I am really frustrated by such kind of service. I raised a complaint with nodal officer new delhi on 5th may and he promised that installation will be done on 6th may and fixed the time of 7:00 pm as appointment but again the same thing happened and no one came for the installation.Even till today i.e 13th May no one bothered to get the installation done.
                                      Please help.

                                        I opted for Tikona thinking the internet connection would be excellent but from the day I have opted for your company connection I have been facing problems .

                                        1st problem was activation problem and then the download upload speed promised was never been provided.

                                        2nd from 22nd of march the internet connection is down, we have registered n number of complaints till date take for count 2 a day, on every call I am promised that your issue will be resolved and a representative will be sent to rectify the problem, but till date no engineer of yours came to rectify the problem but still we receive a message saying our problem was solved "Please explain how is this possible"

                                        One fine day we had to force an engineer to come down to rectify the problem, he came in and replaced the wimax box twice saying the one they connected us firstly was a faulty one then he said there is no signal being received from the center so we need to wait a day and it will rectify itself or else please give a call I will visit again to solve the issue, guess what we called and called - no response.
